In this paper, we show that the extended modular group ${\hat{\Gamma}}$ acts on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ transitively and imprimitively. Then the number of orbits of ${\hat{\Gamma} _{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ is calculated and compared with the number of orbits of ${\Gamma _{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ . Especially, we obtain the graphs ${\hat{G}_{u, N}}$ of ${\hat{\Gamma}_{0}(N)}$ on ${\hat{\mathbb{Q}}}$ , for each ${N\in\mathbb{N}}$ and each unit ${u \in U_{N} }$ , then we determine the suborbital graph ${\hat{F}_{u,N}}$ . We also give the edge conditions in ${\hat{G}_{u, N}}$ and the necessary and sufficient conditions for a circuit to be triangle in ${\hat{F}_{u, N}.}$   相似文献

To investigate localization in one-dimensional quasi-periodic nonlinear systems, we consider the Schrödinger equation $${\rm i}\dot{q}_n+\epsilon(q_{n+1}+q_{n-1})+V(n\tilde{\alpha}+x)q_n+ |q_n|^2q_n=0,\quad n\in\mathbb{Z},$$ as a model, with V a nonconstant real-analytic function on ${\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}$ , and ${\tilde{\alpha}}$ satisfying a certain Diophantine condition. It is shown that, if ${\epsilon}$ is sufficiently small, then for a.e. ${x\in\mathbb{R}/\mathbb{Z}}$ , dynamical localization is maintained for “typical” solutions in a quasi-periodic time-dependent way.  相似文献

Let ${\mathbb{Q}^3}$ be the moduli space of oriented circles in the three dimensional unit sphere ${\mathbb{S}^3}$ . Given a natural complex structure such space becomes a three dimensional complex manifold, with a M?bius invariant Hermitian metric h of type (2, 1). Up to M?bius transformations, all geodesics with respect to the Lorentz metric g = Re(h) on ${\mathbb{Q}^3}$ are determined to form a one-parameter family of circles on a helicoid in a space form ${\mathbb{R}^3, \mathbb{H}^3}$ or ${\mathbb{S}^{3}}$ , resp. We show also that any two oriented circles in ${\mathbb{S}^3}$ are connected by countably infinitely many geodesics in ${\mathbb{Q}^3}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a multiplicity result concerning the critical points of a class of functionals involving local and nonlocal nonlinearities. We apply our result to the nonlinear Schr?dinger–Maxwell system in ${\mathbb{R}^3}$ and to the nonlinear elliptic Kirchhoff equation in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ assuming on the local nonlinearity the general hypotheses introduced by Berestycki and Lions.  相似文献

We prove that if ${\Gamma\curvearrowright (X, \mu)}$ is a free ergodic rigid (in the sense of Popa in Ann Math 163:809–889, 2006) probability measure preserving action of a group Γ with positive first ${\ell^2}$ -Betti number, then the II1 factor ${L^{\infty}(X)\rtimes\Gamma}$ has a unique group measure space Cartan subalgebra, up to unitary conjugacy. We deduce that many ${\mathcal{HT}}$ factors, including the II1 factors associated with the usual actions ${\Gamma\curvearrowright \mathbb{T^2}}$ and ${\Gamma\curvearrowright}$ ${{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb R)/{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb Z)}$ , where Γ is a non-amenable subgroup of ${{\rm SL}_2(\mathbb Z)}$ , have a unique group measure space decomposition.  相似文献

We provide a matrix invariant for isometry classes of p-tuples of points in the Grassmann manifold ${G_{n}\left(\mathbb{K}^{d}\right) }$ ( ${\mathbb{K=\mathbb{R}}}$ or ${\mathbb{C}}$ ). This invariant fully characterizes the p-tuple. We use it to classify the regular p-tuples of ${G_{2}\left(\mathbb{R}^{d}\right) }$ , ${G_{3}\left( \mathbb{R}^{d}\right) }$ and ${G_{2}\left( \mathbb{C}^{d}\right) }$ .  相似文献

Let ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^{N}}$ be a Lipschitz domain and Γ be a relatively open and non-empty subset of its boundary ${\partial\Omega}$ . We show that the solution to the linear first-order system $$\nabla \zeta = G\zeta, \, \, \zeta|_\Gamma = 0 \quad \quad \quad (1)$$ is unique if ${G \in \textsf{L}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{(N \times N) \times N})}$ and ${\zeta \in \textsf{W}^{1,1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{N})}$ . As a consequence, we prove $$||| \cdot ||| : \textsf{C}_{o}^{\infty}(\Omega, \Gamma; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \rightarrow [0, \infty), \, \, u \mapsto \parallel {\rm sym}(\nabla uP^{-1})\parallel_{\textsf{L}^{2}(\Omega)}$$ to be a norm for ${P \in \textsf{L}^{\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ with Curl ${P \in \textsf{L}^{p}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ , Curl ${P^{-1} \in \textsf{L}^{q}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ for some p, q > 1 with 1/p + 1/q = 1 as well as det ${P \geq c^+ > 0}$ . We also give a new and different proof for the so-called ‘infinitesimal rigid displacement lemma’ in curvilinear coordinates: Let ${\Phi \in \textsf{H}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ satisfy sym ${(\nabla\Phi^\top\nabla\Psi) = 0}$ for some ${\Psi \in \textsf{W}^{1,\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \cap \textsf{H}^{2}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ with det ${\nabla\Psi \geq c^+ > 0}$ . Then, there exist a constant translation vector ${a \in \mathbb{R}^{3}}$ and a constant skew-symmetric matrix ${A \in \mathfrak{so}(3)}$ , such that ${\Phi = A\Psi + a}$ .  相似文献

Monogenic (or hyperholomorphic) functions are well known in general Clifford algebras but have been little studied in the particular case ${\mathbb{R}^{3} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{3}}$ R 3 → R 3 . We describe for this case the collection of all Appell systems: bases for the finite-dimensional spaces of monogenic homogeneous polynomials which respect the operator ${D = \partial_{0} - \vec{\partial}}$ D = ? 0 ? ? → . We prove that no purely algebraic recursive formula (in a specific sense) exists for these Appell systems, in contrast to the existence of known constructions for ${\mathbb{R}^{3} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{4}}$ R 3 → R 4 and ${\mathbb{R}^{4} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{4}}$ R 4 → R 4 . However, we give a simple recursive procedure for constructing Appell bases for ${\mathbb{R}^{3} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{3}}$ R 3 → R 3 which uses the operation of integration of polynomials.  相似文献

In this note we prove the following: Let n?≥ 2 be a fixed integer. A system of additive functions ${A_{1},A_{2},\ldots,A_{n}:\mathbb{R} \to\mathbb{R}}$ is linearly dependent (as elements of the ${\mathbb{R}}$ vector space ${\mathbb{R}^{\mathbb{R}}}$ ), if and only if, there exists an indefinite quadratic form ${Q:\mathbb{R}^{n}\to\mathbb{R} }$ such that ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\geq 0}$ or ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\leq 0}$ holds for all ${x\in\mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

The Dodd–Jensen Covering Lemma states that “if there is no inner model with a measurable cardinal, then for any uncountable set of ordinals X, there is a ${Y\in K}$ such that ${X\subseteq Y}$ and |X| = |Y|”. Assuming ZF+AD alone, we establish the following analog: If there is no inner model with an ${\mathbb {R}}$ –complete measurable cardinal, then the real core model ${K(\mathbb {R})}$ is a “very good approximation” to the universe of sets V; that is, ${K(\mathbb {R})}$ and V have exactly the same sets of reals and for any set of ordinals X with ${|{X}|\ge\Theta}$ , there is a ${Y\in K(\mathbb {R})}$ such that ${X\subseteq Y}$ and |X| = |Y|. Here ${\mathbb {R}}$ is the set of reals and ${\Theta}$ is the supremum of the ordinals which are the surjective image of ${\mathbb {R}}$ .  相似文献

We give a version of the Moser–Trudinger inequality for Orlicz–Sobolev spaces embedded into exponential and multiple exponential spaces on unbounded domains in ${\mathbb R^n, n \geq 2}$ . Applying this result and the Mountain Pass Theorem we study the existence of non-trivial weak solutions to the problem $$\begin{array}{ll}u \in W^1 L^{\Phi}(\mathbb R^n)\quad{\rm and}\\\quad -{\rm div} \left(\Phi ' (|\nabla u|)\frac{\nabla u}{|\nabla u|}\right)+V(x)\Phi'(|u|)\frac{u}{|u|} =f(x,u)\quad{\rm in}\, \mathbb R^n,\end{array}$$ where Φ is a Young function such that the space ${W^1 L^{\Phi}(\mathbb R^n)}$ is embedded into an Orlicz space of the exponential or multiple exponential type, the nonlinearity f(x, t) has the corresponding critical growth and V(x) is a continuous potential.  相似文献

In this paper we solve the ${\overline{\partial }}$ -problem along the leaves for two types of laminations: (i) Some open sets Ω of ${{\mathbb C}\times B}$ (where B is any differentiable manifold) endowed with the canonical foliation that is, the foliation whose leaves are the sections ${\Omega ^t=\{ z\in {\mathbb C}:(z,t)\in \Omega \}}$ . We construct a solution to the equation ${\overline{\partial }h=fd\overline z}$ for any function ${f:\Omega\longrightarrow {\mathbb C}}$ of class ${C^{s}\,(s\in \mathbb{N}\cup\{ \infty \}),\,C^\infty}$ along the leaves and satisfies some growth conditions near the singularities. (ii) A complex lamination by Riemann surfaces obtained by suspending a homeomorphism of a closed set of the Euclidean space ${\mathbb{C}\times \mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

Let \(A = -\mathrm{div} \,a(\cdot ) \nabla \) be a second order divergence form elliptic operator on \({\mathbb R}^n\) with bounded measurable real-valued coefficients and let \(W\) be a cylindrical Brownian motion in a Hilbert space \(H\) . Our main result implies that the stochastic convolution process $$\begin{aligned} u(t) = \int _0^t e^{-(t-s)A}g(s)\,dW(s), \quad t\geqslant 0, \end{aligned}$$ satisfies, for all \(1\leqslant p<\infty \) , a conical maximal \(L^p\) -regularity estimate $$\begin{aligned} {\mathbb E}\Vert \nabla u \Vert _{ T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n)}^p \leqslant C_p^p {\mathbb E}\Vert g \Vert _{ T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n;H)}^p. \end{aligned}$$ Here, \(T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n)\) and \(T_2^{p,2}({\mathbb R}_+\times {\mathbb R}^n;H)\) are the parabolic tent spaces of real-valued and \(H\) -valued functions, respectively. This contrasts with Krylov’s maximal \(L^p\) -regularity estimate $$\begin{aligned} {\mathbb E}\Vert \nabla u \Vert _{L^p({\mathbb R}_+;L^2({\mathbb R}^n;{\mathbb R}^n))}^p \leqslant C^p {\mathbb E}\Vert g \Vert _{L^p({\mathbb R}_+;L^2({\mathbb R}^n;H))}^p \end{aligned}$$ which is known to hold only for \(2\leqslant p<\infty \) , even when \(A = -\Delta \) and \(H = {\mathbb R}\) . The proof is based on an \(L^2\) -estimate and extrapolation arguments which use the fact that \(A\) satisfies suitable off-diagonal bounds. Our results are applied to obtain conical stochastic maximal \(L^p\) -regularity for a class of nonlinear SPDEs with rough initial data.  相似文献

We prove that for any open Riemann surface ${\mathcal{N}}$ , natural number N ≥ 3, non-constant harmonic map ${h:\mathcal{N} \to \mathbb{R}}$ N?2 and holomorphic 2-form ${\mathfrak{H}}$ on ${\mathcal{N}}$ , there exists a weakly complete harmonic map ${X=(X_j)_{j=1,\ldots,{\sc N}}:\mathcal{N} \to \mathbb{R}^{\sc N}}$ with Hopf differential ${\mathfrak{H}}$ and ${(X_j)_{j=3,\ldots,{\sc N}}=h.}$ In particular, there exists a complete conformal minimal immersion ${Y=(Y_j)_{j=1,\ldots,{\sc N}}:\mathcal{N} \to \mathbb{R}^{\sc N}}$ such that ${(Y_j)_{j=3,\ldots,{\sc N}}=h}$ . As some consequences of these results (1) there exist complete full non-decomposable minimal surfaces with arbitrary conformal structure and whose generalized Gauss map is non-degenerate and fails to intersect N hyperplanes of ${\mathbb{CP}^{{\sc N}-1}}$ in general position. (2) There exist complete non-proper embedded minimal surfaces in ${\mathbb{R}^{\sc N},}$ ${\forall\,{\sc N} >3 .}$   相似文献

The aim of this work is to study a singular integral operator ${\mathbf{A}=aI+bS_\Gamma}$ A = a I + b S Γ with the Cauchy operator S Γ (SIO) and Hölder continuous coefficients a, b in the space ${\mathbb{H}^0_\mu(\Gamma,\rho)}$ H μ 0 ( Γ , ρ ) of Hölder continuous functions with an power “Khvedelidze” weight. The underlying curve is an open arc. It is well known, that such operator is Fredholm if and only if, along with the ellipticity condition ${a^2(t)-b^2(t)\not=0,\, t\in\Gamma}$ a 2 ( t ) - b 2 ( t ) ≠ 0 , t ∈ Γ , the “Gohberg–Krupnik arc condition” is fulfilled (see Duduchava, in Dokladi Akademii Nauk SSSR 191:16–19, 1970). Based on the Poincare–Beltrami formula for a composition of singular integral operators and the celebrated Muskhelishvili formula describing singularities of Cauchy integral, the formula for a composition of weighted singular integral operators is proved. Using the obtained composition formula and the localization, the Fredholm criterion of the SIO is derived in a natural way, by looking for the regularizer of the operator ${\mathbf{A}}$ A and equating to 0 non-compact operators. The approach is space-independent and this is demonstrated on similar results obtained for SIOs with continuous coefficients in the Lebesgue spaces with a “Khvedelidze” weight ${\mathbb{L}_p(\Gamma,\rho)}$ L p ( Γ , ρ ) , investigated earlier by Gohberg and Krupnik (Studia Mathematica 31:347–362, 1968; One Dimensional Singular Integral Operators II, Operator Theory, Advances and Applications, vol. 54, chapter IX, 1979) with a different approach.  相似文献

We consider the Dirichlet problem for biharmonic maps u from a bounded, smooth domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb R^n (n\ge 5)}$ to a compact, smooth Riemannian manifold ${N\subset{\mathbb {R}}^l}$ without boundary. For any smooth boundary data, we show that if u is a stationary biharmonic map that satisfies a certain boundary monotonicity inequality, then there exists a closed subset ${\Sigma\subset\overline{\Omega}}$ , with ${H^{n-4}(\Sigma)=0}$ , such that ${\displaystyle u\in C^\infty(\overline\Omega\setminus\Sigma, N)}$ .  相似文献

In this paper we provide a first realization of an idea of Jacques Tits from a 1956 paper, which first mentioned that there should be a field of charactéristique une, which is now called ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ , the field with one element. This idea was that every split reductive group scheme over ${\mathbb{Z}}$ should descend to ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ , and its group of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -rational points should be its Weyl group. We connect the notion of a torified scheme to the notion of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes as introduced by Connes and Consani. This yields models of toric varieties, Schubert varieties and split reductive group schemes as ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes. We endow the class of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -schemes with two classes of morphisms, one leading to a satisfying notion of ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ -rational points, the other leading to the notion of an algebraic group over ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ such that every split reductive group is defined as an algebraic group over ${\mathbb{F}_1}$ . Furthermore, we show that certain combinatorics that are expected from parabolic subgroups of GL(n) and Grassmann varieties are realized in this theory.  相似文献
