A Finslerian manifold is called a generalized Einstein manifold (GEM) if the Ricci directional curvature R(u,u) is independent of the direction. Let F0(M, gt) be a deformation of a compact n-dimensional Finslerian manifold preserving the volume of the unitary fibre bundle W(M). We prove that the critical points g0 F0(gt) of the integral I(gt) on W(M) of the Finslerian scalar curvature (and certain functions of the scalar curvature) define a GEM. We give an estimate of the eigenvalues of Laplacian Δ defined on W(M) operating on the functions coming from the base when (M, g) is of minima fibration with a constant scalar curvature H admitting a conformal infinitesimal deformation (CID). We obtain λ ≥ H/(n − 1) (Δf = λf). If M is simply connected and λ = H/(n − 1), then (M, g) is Riemannian and is isometric to an n-sphere. We first calculate, in the general case, the formula of the second variationals of the integral I (gt) for G = g0, then for a CID we show that for certain Finslerian manifolds, I″(g0) > 0. Applications to the gravitation and electromagnetism in general relativity are given. We prove that the spaces characterizing Einstein-Maxwell equations are GEMs.  相似文献

Narrow structures in the range of a few MeV have been searched for in ppπ+ and ppπ invariant mass spectra (Mppπ+ and Mppπ) obtained from exclusive measurements of the ppppπ+π reaction at Tp=725,750 and 775 MeV using the PROMICE/WASA detector at CELSIUS. The selected reaction is particularly well suited for the search for dibaryon resonances decoupled from NN and/or NΔ. In the mass range 2020 MeV/c2<mdibaryon<2085 MeV/c2 no narrow structures could be identified on the 3σ level of statistical significance neither in Mppπ nor in Mppπ+ giving an upper limit (95% C.L.) for dibaryon production in this reaction of σ<20 nb.  相似文献

We report the temperature dependence of the saturation magnetization, Ms(T), of Fe(t)/Cr(40 Å) superlattices grown on MgO(1 0 0) and MgO(1 1 0) and its variation with Fe-layer thickness (5 Å<t<80 Å). The structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction. Ms(t) vs. T, as measured by DC magnetization and ferromagnetic resonance, show a large interface effect. The origins of this effect are discussed.  相似文献

We calculate the O(s) virtual corrections to the matrix element for bsγ, taking into account the contributions of the four-Fermi operator O2 and the electromagnetic and color dipole-type operators. The results are combined with existing O(s) Bremsstrahlung corrections in order to obtain the relevant inclusive rate. The new result drastically reduces the large scale dependence of the leading logarithmic approximation. It implies that a very accurate prediction for the branching ratio for BXsγ will become possible once also the corrections to the Wilson coefficients are available.  相似文献

The microwave subsidiary absorption threshold in tangentially magnetized yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG) films was measured as a function of the static magnetic field, film thickness and decrease in the 0.3–3 μm range is observed. The effect is explained quantitatively by using modified Damon-Eshbach dispersion relations which take into account exchange interactions.

The effect of temperature on hcrit, the smallest threshold field amplitude, in the 250<T< 450 K temperature range can be expressed by an empirical relationship hcrit Ms(T)-1.6 where Ms is the saturation magnetization. This hcrit vs Ms relationship is similar to that obtained for the magnetization dependence of parallel pump thresholds in Li-Ti ferrite compounds.  相似文献

We construct a supersymmetric left–right model in four dimension with gauge-Higgs unification starting from a SU(3)c×SU(4)w×U(1)BL gauge symmetry in five dimension. The model has several interesting features, such as, the CKM mixings in the quark sector are naturally small while for the neutrino sector it is not, light neutrino masses can be generated via the seesaw mechanism in the usual way, and the model has a U(1)R symmetry which naturally forbid dimension five proton decay operators. We also discuss the grand unification of our model in SO(12) in five dimensions.  相似文献

The cosmological baryon asymmetry can be explained as remnant of heavy Majorana neutrino decays in the early universe. We study this mechanism for two models of neutrino masses with a large νμ−ντ mixing angle which are based on the symmetries SU(5)×U(1)F and SU(3)c×SU(3)L×SU(3)R×U(1)F, respectively. In both cases BL is broken at the unification scale ΛGUT. The models make different predictions for the baryogenesis temperature and the gravitino abundance.  相似文献

We consider a formulation of nonperturbative two-dimensional quantum gravity coupled to a single bosonic field (d=1 matter). Starting from a matrix realization of the discretized model, we express the continuum theory as a double scaling limit in which the 2D cosmological constant g tends towards a critical value gc, and the string coupling 1/N→0, with the scaling parameter ∝1n (g-gc)/(g-gc)N held fixed. We find that in this formulation logarithmic corrections already present at tree level persist to all higher genus, suggesting a behavior different from the previously considered cases of d<1 matter.  相似文献

We show that the assumption of type II seesaw mechanism for small neutrino masses coupled with b–τ mass unification in a minimal SUSY SO(10) model leads not only to a natural understanding of large atmospheric mixing angle (θ23) among neutrinos, as recently noted, but also to large solar angle (θ12) and a small θ13Ue3 as required to fit observations. No additional symmetries are required to obtain large neutrino mixings. The proposed long baseline neutrino experiments will provide a crucial test of this model since it predicts Ue30.16.  相似文献

We discuss the existence of θ-vacua in pure Yang-Mills theory in two space-time dimensions. More precisely, a procedure is given which allows one to classify the distinct quantum theories possessing the same classical limit for an arbitrary connected gauge group G and compact space-time manifold M (possibly with boundary) possessing a special basepoint. For any such G and M it is shown that the above quantizations are in one-to-one correspondence with the irreducible unitary representations (IUR's) of π1(G) if M is orientable, and with the IUR's of π1(G)/2π1(G) if M is non-orientable.  相似文献

In the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM), the masses of the charged Higgs boson (H±) and the CP-odd scalar (A) are related by MH+2=MA2+mW2. Furthermore, because the coupling of WAH+ is fixed by gauge interaction, the tree level production rate of depends only on one supersymmetry parameter—the mass (MA) of A. We show that to a good approximation this conclusion also holds at the one-loop level. Consequently, this process can be used to distinguish MSSM from its alternatives (such as a general two-Higgs-doublet model) by verifying the above mass relation, and to test the prediction of the MSSM on the product of the decay branching ratios of A and H± in terms of only one single parameter—MA.  相似文献

The effect of Cd doping on transport, magnetotransport, and magnetic properties has been investigated in the perovskite La1−xCdxMnO3 (0x0.5) systems. The ρ(T) curves exhibit a sharp metal insulator transition (Tp1), which is close to paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition (Tc) obtained from MT curves for all samples. In addition, ρ(T) curves for Cd doped samples exhibit another broad transition (TP2) below Tp1. This transition becomes more prominent and the transition temperature (Tp2) shifts to lower temperature with increasing Cd content. Such double peak behavior in the ρ(T) curve is attributed to the phase separation between the ferromagnetic metallic phases and the ferromagnetic insulating phases induced by the electronic inhomogeneity in the samples.  相似文献

We have used electron spin resonance measurements to derive the temperature and frequency dependences of the field-induced magnetization [M(T, f)] and anisotropy field [Han (T)] in a number of amorphous alloys belonging to the series (FepNi1−p)75P16B6Al3. In re-entrant (p > pc, the critical concentration for ferromagnetism) alloys at hi gh frequencies (f = 35 GHz, field ≈ 12 kOe) M reduces as T3/2 at high T and as T below ≈ 40 K, the deviation from T3/2 becoming more marked as pp+c. For p close to pc, lowering the frequency first causes the T term to increase and ultimately ( ≈ 4 GHz) changes the variation of M with T to that discovered previously for concentrated spin glasses, namely M is constant at low T and drops linearly at high temperatures. For the re-entrants, the results are interpreted on the basis of a model which invokes an energy gap in the spin-wave spectrum, introduces a non-zero density of states of the gap energy and takes into consideration a low-q cut-off in the spin-wave integral in thelow-T (T) regime.In the concentrated spin glasses [M (0) - M (T)]/ M (0) is well represented by the function [exp (Δ / T) - 1]-1, where Δ has values close to the corresponding Curie-Weiss temperatures θp but much larger than the respective spin glass transition temperatures TSG. The temperature dependence of Han is largely given by the function (1 - T/T*), where T* is equal to the zero-field freezing temperature for the re-entrants and TSG for the spin glasses, respectively.  相似文献

We study semileptonic decays B→η(′)lν, taking into account the flavor-singlet contribution (Fsinglet+) to the B→η(′) form factors, which arises from the two-gluon emission in a decaying B meson. It has been recently pointed out that, in addition to large weak annihilation effects, the unknown value of Fsinglet+ prevents accurate theoretical estimates in the analysis of B→η′K decays in QCD factorization. We present a certain method to determine Fsinglet+ with a reasonable accuracy, using B→η(′)lν and B→πlν decays. We also investigate the possible effect of Fsinglet+ on the estimated branching ratios (BRs) for B→η(′)lν and find that the BR for B→η′lν is particularly sensitive to the effect of Fsinglet+.  相似文献

Magnetoelectric composites, namely, xNiFe2O4+(1−x)Ba0.9Sr0.1TiO3 were prepared by standard double sintering ceramic method. The X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out to check the phases formed during sintering and to calculate the lattice parameters. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrographs were taken to understand the microstructure of the samples. The dielectric constant (ε′) and loss tangent (tan δ) were measured as a function of frequency in the frequency range 100 Hz–1 MHz. Variation of dielectric constant and loss tangent with temperature and composition has been reported. The hysteresis measurements were done to determine saturation magnetization (MS) and coersivity (Hc). The variation of saturation magnetization and magnetic moment is interpreted in terms of composition.  相似文献

The emission of fragments (A≥16) from reaction of 4He with 197Au has been studied at bombarding energy of 12.7 GeV. Policarbonate Makrofol in sandwich form was used as a detector. Fragments produced in the experiment were identified and an event by event model-free analysis was performed. The decay channels ending with one, two or more (three, four) fragments were detected. A classification scheme based on the multiplicity (MH) of heavy fragments (A≥40) was used in order to define multifragmentation (MH = 0), spallation (MH = 1) and fission (MH = 2) events. The various experimental features of the fragmentation process are discussed.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the remanent magnetization MR has been studied in YBa2Cu3O6.9 powders cooled in a magnetic field. When the samples are heated up and cooled down again, MR(T) is found to exhibit a reversible part when the density of vortices is initially low. For particle size comparable with the London penetration depth λ the reversible part of MR(T) can be well described by λ(T).  相似文献
