In this paper higher order linear impulsive differential equations with fixed moments of impulses subject to linear boundary conditions are studied. Green's formula is defined for piecewise differentiable functions. Properties of Green's functions for higher order impulsive boundary value problems are introduced. An appropriate example of the Green's function for a boundary value problem is provided. Furthermore, eigenvalue problems and basic properties of eigensolutions are considered.  相似文献

Solutions of strongly degenerate parabolic partial differential equations are known to develop infinite spatial derivatives in finite time from smooth initial conditions over the real line. However, when Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions are prescribed on a finite interval, a smooth classical solution may exist for all Eq., with derivatives vanishing as t tends to infinity. With some simple extra conditions relating two nonlinear coefficients in the degenerate equation, classical solvability is proved in general.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider boundary value problems for nonlinear differential equations on the semi-axis (0,∞) and also on the whole axis (−∞,∞), under the assumption that the left-hand side being a second order linear differential expression belongs to the Weyl limit-circle case. The boundary value problems are considered in the Hilbert spaces L2(0,∞) and L2(−∞,∞), and include boundary conditions at infinity.
