2-[(2-Hydroxyphenylimino)methyl]phenol (H2L1) and 1-[(2-hydroxyphenylimino)methyl]naphthalen-2-ol (H2L2) reacted with copper(II) acetate hydrate and sulfanilamide (Sf1), sulfathiazole (Sf2), sulfaethidole (Sf3), sulfadiazine (Sf4), and sulfadimidine (Sf5) in ethanol to give mixed-ligand copper chelates with the composition Cu(Sf1–5)(L1–2) · n H2O (n = 1, 2). All these complexes are monomeric. Salicylaldehyde imines (H2L1 and H2L2) behave as doubly deprotonated tridentate O,N,O ligands, whereas sulfanilamides (Sf1–5) are unidentate ligands. Thermolysis of the synthesized complexes includes dehydration at 70–90°C, followed by complete thermal decomposition (290–380°C). The complexes [Cu(Sf1)(L1)] · 2H2O and [Cu(Sf3)(L1)] · H2O at a concentration of 10−4 M inhibited growth and reproduction of 100% of human myeloid leukemia cells (HL-60). The inhibitory effect was 90 and 75%, respectively, at a concentration of 10−5 M, whereas no antitumor activity was observed at a concentration of 10−6 M.  相似文献

Isatin (L1) and N-methylisatin (L2) β-thiosemicarbazones react in ethanol with Cu(II) chloride and bromide in the presence of sulfanilamide (Streptocid, Sf1), N-acetylsulfanilamide (Sulfacyl, Sf2), Norsulfazole (Sf3), Aethazolum (Sf4), and Sulfadimesine (Sf5) to form coordination compounds Cu(Sf1–5)L1–2X2 · nH2O (X = Cl, Br; n = 2–5). All the complexes have a monomeric structure. Thiosemicarbazones L1 and L2 in these complexes are tridentate O,N,S ligands, and sulfanilamides Sf1–5 are monodentate ligands. Thermolysis of the substances involves the steps of dehydration (70–95°C) and complete decomposition (410–530°C).  相似文献

In 3, two Cu(II) ions are connected by L1 to form a [Cu2(L1)(H2O)2]2+ cation. In 4, the m-bdc anions bridge Cu(II) ions and L1 anions to form a layer. Both 5 and 6 display 3-D supramolecular structures. 7 consists of both [Co2L2]2? and [Co(MeOH)4(H2O)2]2+ units. 8 and 9 show infinite chain structures. In 10, Zn(II) dimers are linked by L2 to generate a 3-D framework. The magnetic properties for 4 and 8 and the luminescent property for 10 have been studied.  相似文献

Four homochiral coordination polymers incorporating two chiral reduced Schiff base ligands, namely, [Cu(L1)(H2O)]·H2O (1), [Zn2(L2)2] (2), [Co(L2)(H2O)] (3), and [Ni(L2)(H2O)] (4) (H2L1 = N-(4-carboxyl)benzyl-l-alanine, H2L2 = N-(4-carboxyl)benzyl-l-leucine) have been obtained by hydrothermal methods and characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that complex 1 exhibits a chain structure with 1D channels. Complexes 24 all are 3D network structures with 1D channels in which the isobutyl group of the ligand points toward to the channel. Complex 2 displays strong photoluminescent emission in the purple region.  相似文献

The procedures for the synthesis of the Cu(II) complexes with bis(pyrazole-1-yl)methane (L1), bis(3,5-dimethyl-4-bromopyrazole-1-yl)methane (L2), and bis(3,5-dimethyl-4-iodopyrazole-1-yl)methane (L3) of the composition Cu2(L1)2Br4 (I), Cu2(L2)2Cl4 (II), Cu(L3)(NO3)2 (III), and Cu(L3)(H2O)(NO3)2 · 2H2O (IV) were developed. The organic ligands in the above complexes are coordinated to Cu(II) in a bidentate cyclic type through the N(2), N(2′) atoms of the pyrazole rings. The molecular and crystal structures of L2, L3, II, III, and IV were determined by X-ray diffraction. The study of the μeff(T) function in a temperature interval 2–300 K showed that compound I, which exhibited ferromagnetic exchange interactions in the chains, undergoes transition to antiferromagnetic state with weak ferromagnetism. The exchange antiferromagnetic interactions predominate in compound II.  相似文献

Three copper(II) complexes, [Cu(L1)(H2O)(ClO4)]·0.5H2O (1), [Cu(L2)(H2O)(ClO4)]·0.5H2O (2), and [Cu(L2)(NCNC(OCH3)NH2)]ClO4 (3), where HL1 = 4-bromo-2-(-(quinolin-8-ylimino)methyl)phenol and HL2 = 1-(-(quinolin-8-ylimino)methyl)naphthalen-2-ol, have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV–vis and fluorescence spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The copper(II) centers assume five-coordinate square-pyramidal geometries in 1 and 2, whereas square planar copper(II) is present in 3. A methanol molecule has been inserted in the pendant end of the ligated dicyanamide in 3. Various supramolecular architectures are formed by hydrogen bonding, π?π, C–H?π, and lp?π interactions.  相似文献

Two ternary copper(II) complexes [Cu(L1)(py)] (1) and [Cu(L2)(Himdz]?·?CH3OH (2) with substituted aroylhydrazones, 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-3,5-dimethoxy-benzoylhydrazone (H2L1) and 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-p-methyl-benzoylhydrazone (H2L2), pyridine (py) and imidazole (Himdz), have been synthesized. Their crystal structures and spectroscopic properties have been studied. In each complex, the metal is in a square-planar N2O2 coordination formed by the phenolate-O, the imine-N and the deprotonated amide-O atoms of L2?, and the sp2?N atom of the neutral heterocycle. In the solid state, 1 exists as a centrosymmetric dimer due to very weak apical coordination of the metal bound phenolate-O. Complex 2 has no such apical coordination and exists as a monomer. Self-assembly via C–H?···?O, N–H?···?O and O–H?···?N interaction leads to a one-dimensional chain arrangement; other non-covalent interactions such as C–H?···?π and π?···?π are not involved.  相似文献

The ion-selective properties of 1,8-bis[2-(dihydroxyphosphinyl)phenoxy]-3,6-dioxaoctane (H4L3) have been studied and its potentiometric selectivity coefficients have been determined. New complexes [Cu(H4L3)(H2O)3][(H2L3)(H2O)] (I) and Zn(H4L3)(H2L3) · 3H2O, and Cu(H2L3) · 2(H2O) have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal and molecular structure of I has been determined by X-ray crystallography and vibrational spectroscopy. The crystals are monoclinic, a = 10.279(5) Å, b = 26.532(13) Å, c = 8.399(4) Å, β = 99.270(8)°, V = 2260.8(7) Å3, Z = 2, space group Cm, R = 0.0347 for 4325 reflections with I > 2σ(I). Ionic compound I is composed of the [Cu(H4L3)(H2O)3]2+ complex cations and [(H2L3)(H2O)]2? anions. In the cation, the Cu2+ cation located in the m plane is bound to a tetragonal pyramidal (TP) array. The equatorial plane of the TP is formed by two phosphoryl oxygen atoms of the podand (Cu(1)-O, 1.921(2) Å) and two O atoms of two water molecules (av. Cu(1)-O, 1.981(3) Å). The third water molecule is at the axial vertex of the TP at a considerably larger distance (Cu(1)-O, 2.139(3) Å). The anion is of the host-guest type. The host is the deprotonated podand (H2L3)2?, and the guest is the water molecule. The latter is bound to the terminal hydroxyl groups of two phosphoryl groups of the podand by two acceptor hydrogen bonds and to two central ether oxygen atoms of the (H2L3)2? anion by one donor bifurcated hydrogen bond. The cations and anions in the structure are linked by hydrogen bonds to form chains parallel to the c axis.  相似文献

Compounds 1 – 6 have similar 1D chain structures, which are further linked by π–π interactions to generate supramolecular double chains for 1 and 2 , and supramolecular layers for 3 – 6 . Compound 7 displays a 3D 6‐connected framework with (44 · 611) topology. Compound 8 features a monomolecular structure, which is further linked by hydrogen bonds between the lattice water molecules and carboxylate oxygen atoms of L2 anions to form a 2D supramolecular layer. The monomolecular structures of 9 and 10 are connected by hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions simultaneously to generate supramolecular layers. Compounds 11 and 12 show layer structures.  相似文献

Three ternary copper(II) complexes [Cu(L1)(phen)] (1), [Cu(L2)(phen)] (2), and [Cu(L3)(phen)]·2H2O (3) (L1 = 4-fluoro-2-(picolinamido)benzoic acid, L2 = 4,5-difluoro-2-(picolinamido)benzoic acid, L3 = 4,5-difluoro-2-((2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)benzoic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. In addition, X-ray crystallography showed that the Cu atoms in each of the complexes are five-coordinate, adopting distorted square pyramidal or trigonal bipyramidal geometries. The interactions of the complexes with calf-thymus DNA were investigated by UV absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. In addition, the complexes were screened for in vitro cytotoxicity against A549 (human pulmonary carcinoma cells), Jurkat (human T lymphocyte cell line) and HepG-2 (human liver hepatocellular carcinoma cells); these experiments showed that complex 3 exhibited the most effective cytotoxicities (IC50 = 1.224–7.099 µM). Antibacterial studies revealed that complex 3 also exhibited highest activity, consistent with the DNA binding affinities.  相似文献

Copper(II) complexes incorporating the isomeric tolyl-derivatised terpyridine ligands, 4′-p-tolyl-2,2′:6′,2′′-terpyridine (L1) and 6′-p-tolyl-2,2′:2′′,4′-terpyridine (L2) have been prepared and characterised by X-ray diffraction. The first of these is a co-crystal of type [Cu(L1)(NO3)2]·[Cu(L1)(NO3)(EtOH)]NO3·MeOH while the second is a single complex of type [Cu(L2)2(NO3)]NO3·0.5MeOH·1.5H2O. Crystallisation of a mixture of both products from ethanol/methanol (1:1) yields an unusual co-crystalline product of stoichiometry [Cu(L2)2NO3]2[Cu(L1)(NO3)2](NO3)2 whose structure was also confirmed by an X-ray stucture determination.  相似文献

A novel 5-Acetoxy-1-(6-chloropyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester derivatives Htcdodtta (1), and it’s five complexes, [Cu2(L1)2]·(CH3CN) (2), [Cu2(L2)1.63(L3)0.37]·(CH3OH)0.5 (3), [Cu2(L3)(L4)]·(C2H5OH)0.5·(CH3OH)0.5 (4), [Cu2(L4)(L5)]·(H2O) (5) and [Cu2(L1)1.18(L2)0.82] (6) have been synthesized. The Htcdodtta, HL1-HL5 were formed in-situ reaction. HL1-HL5 are homologues which possess two chiral carbons. Compounds 16 were characterized using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, and elemental analysis. Compounds 26 are dinuclear copper complexes. The in vitro cytotoxicities of compounds 14 against a variety of cell lines were evaluated by MTT assays. Hela cancer cell apoptosis assay of 1 and 2 were examined by flow cytometry. One μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(L1)(μ‐C6H5CO2)] ( 1 )(H3L1 = 1,3‐bis(salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)), and two μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu4(L1)2(μ‐C8H10O4)(DMF)2]·H2O ( 2 ) and [Cu4(L2)2(μ‐C5H6O4]·2H2O·2CH3CN ( 3 ) (H3L2 = 1,3‐bis(5‐bromo‐salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)) have been prepared and characterized. The single crystal X‐ray analysis shows that the structure of complex 1 is dimeric with two adjacent copper(II) atoms bridged by μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato ligands where the Cu···Cu distances and Cu‐O(alkoxo)‐Cu angles are 3.5 11 Å and 132.8°, respectively. Complexes 2 and 3 consist of a μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear Cu(II) complex with mean Cu‐Cu distances and Cu‐O‐Cu angles of 3.092 Å and 104.2° for 2 and 3.486 Å and 129.9° for 3 , respectively. Magnetic measurements reveal that 1 is strong antiferromagnetically coupled with 2J =‐210 cm?1 while 2 and 3 exhibit ferromagnetic coupling with 2J = 126 cm?1 and 82 cm?1 (averaged), respectively. The 2J values of 1–3 are correlated to dihedral angles and the Cu‐O‐Cu angles. Dependence of the pH at 25 °C on the reaction rate of oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol (3,5‐DTBC) to the corresponding quinone (3,5‐DTBQ) catalyzed by 1–3 was studied. Complexes 1–3 exhibit catecholase‐like active at above pH 8 and 25 °C for oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol.  相似文献

Two new one-dimensional coordination polymers: {[Cu(L1)(H4TTHA)] · H2O} n (I), {[Cu2(L2)2(H4TTHA)2] · 10H2O} n (II) (L1 = 1,3,10,12,15,18-hexaazatetracyclodocosane; L2 = 3,10-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3,5,8,10,12-hexaazacyclotetradecane), based on a flexible hexapodal ligand H6TTHA (1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine hexaacetic acid), have been synthesized and structure characterized. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicated that the central metal atom displays distorted six-coordinate octahedral coordination geometry by coordination with four nitrogen atoms of L1 or L2, and two oxygen atoms of H6TTHA liagand. Both of the compounds show one-dimensional chain structures, which are constructed of [Cu(L)]2+ and [H4TTHA]2? anion with 1 : 1 ratio. Interestingly, the nature of the macrocycle influences the structure of the coordination polymer produced with H6TTHA for each of the two compounds. TG, IR, PXRD, and photoluminescent of the compounds are investigated.  相似文献

Seven new cobalt(II) complexes based on the Schiff bases, 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(isonicotinoylhydrazone) (H2L1) and 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis(nicotinoylhydrazone) (H2L2), are synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction analysis: [Co(H2L1)(NCS)2] · 2.25H2O (I), [Co(H2L2)(NCS)2] · CH3OH (II), [Co(H2L2)(NCS)(H2O)]NCS (III), [Co(H4L1)(NCS)2](NO3)2 · 2H2O (IV), [Co(H4L1)(NCS)2][Co(NCS)4] · 0.75H2O (V), [Co(H4L2)(NCS)2][Co(NCS)4] · 1.75H2O (VI), and [Co(H2L2)(NCS)(CH3OH)]2[Co(NCS)4] · 2CH3OH (VII) (CIF files CCDC 941186 (I), 1457906 (Ia), 1457905 (II), 941187 (III), 1457907 (IV), 1457908 (V), 1457909 (VI), and 941188 (VII)). The organic ligands in the complexes act as pentadentate neutral H2L or doubly protonated (H4L)2+ coordinated through the same set of donor atoms N3O2. In all compounds IVII, the coordination polyhedron of the Co2+ ion in a complex with the Schiff bases has a shape of a pentagonal bipyramid. The hydrazones are arranged in the equatorial plane of the bipyramid. Its axial vertices are occupied by the nitrogen atoms of the NCS ̄ anions in compounds I, II, and IV–VI and by the nitrogen atoms of NCS ̄ and oxygen of the water molecule in compound III or methanol in compound VII. The NO 3 - anions or [Co(NCS)4]2 ̄ complex anions obtained by the reactions are involved along with the NCS ̄ anions in the formation of compounds IV–VII.  相似文献

This paper discusses coordination-position isomeric MIICuII and CuIIMII complexes, using unsymmetric dinucleating macrocycles (Lm;n)2− ((L2;2)2−, (L2;3)2− and (L2;4)2−) that comprise two 2-(N-methyl)-aminomethyl-6-iminomethyl-4-bromo-phenonate entities, combined through the ethylene chain (m = 2) between the two amine nitrogens and through the ethylene, trimethylene or tetramethylene chain(n = 2, 3 or 4) between the two imine nitrogens. The macrocycles have dissimilar N(amine)2O2 and N(imine)2O2 metal-binding sites sharing the phenolic oxygens. The reaction of the mononuclear CuII precursors, [Cu(L2;2)], [Cu(L2;2)] and [Cu(L2;2)], with a MII perchlorate and a MII acetate salt formed (acetato)MIICuII complexes: [CoCu(L2;2)(AcO)]ClO4·0.5H2O] (1), [NiCu(L2;2) (AcO)]ClO4 (2), [ZnCu(L2;2) (AcO)]ClO4 (3), [CoCu(L2;3)(AcO)]ClO4·0.5H2O (4), [NiCu(L2;3)(AcO)]ClO4 (5), [ZnCu(L2;3)(AcO)]ClO4·0.5H2O (6), [CoCu(L2;4)(AcO)(DMF)]ClO4 (7), [NiCu(L2;4) (AcO)]ClO4·2DMF (8) and [ZnCu(L2;4)(AcO)]ClO4 (9) (the formulation [MaMb (Lm;n)]2+ means that Ma resides in the aminic site and Mb in the iminic site). The site selectivity of the metal ions is demonstrated by X-ray crystallographic studies for 2·MeOH,3,5,7, and9. An (acetato)CuIIZnII complex, [CuZn(L2;3)(AcO)]ClO4 (10), was obtained by the reaction of [PbCu(L2;3)]-(ClO4)2 with ZnSO4·4H2O, in the presence of sodium acetate. Other complexes of the CuIIMII type were thermodynamically unstable to cause a scrambling of metal ions. The Cu migration from the iminic site to the aminic site in the synthesis of10 is explained by the ‘kinetic macrocyclic effect’. The coordination-position isomers,6 and10, are differentiated by physicochemical properties.  相似文献

The layered CuII coordination polymer {[Cu(tib)2(H2O)2](NO3)2} ( 1 ) based on the rigid tripodal 1,3,5‐tris(1‐imidazolyl)benzene (tib) ligand was synthesized by hydrothermal methods. By introducing different polycarboxylate coligands from linear 4,4′‐biphthalic acid (H4L1) to V‐shaped thiophene‐2,5‐dicarboxylic acid (H2L2), two new copper(II) compounds were obtained, namely, {Cu(tib)(H2L1)(H2O) · 3H2O} ( 2 ) and {Cu(tib)(L2) · 3H2O} ( 3 ). X‐ray diffraction analyses reveal that compound 2 displays a hydrogen‐bonded three‐dimensional (3D) supramolecular structure, in which protonated {H2L1}2– ligands occupy some coordination sites around the metal atoms to form one‐dimensional (1D) chain by blocking the formation of two‐dimensional (2D) Cu‐tib layer as in compound 1 . Interestingly, compound 3 features a rare twofold interpenetrating binodal seh ‐3,5‐P43212 topological network by synergistic effect of V‐shaped carboxylate group and functionally complementary N‐donor ligand. These compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, thermogravinetric analyses, and photoluminescent spectroscopy.  相似文献

Four CuII and CoII complexes–[Cu(L1)Cl2(H2O)]3/2H2O · 1/2EtOH, [Cu(L1)2Cl2]6H2O, [Co(L1)Cl2]3H2O · EtOH, and [Co2(L1)(H2O)Cl4]1.5H2O · EtOH (L1 = 2,4,6-tri(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine; TPT)–were synthesized by conventional chemical method and used to synthesize another four metal complexes–[Cu(L1)I2(H2O)]6H2O, [Cu(L1)2I2]6H2O, [Co(L1)I(H2O)2]I · 2H2O, and [Co2(L1)I4(H2O)3]–using tribochemical reaction, by grinding it with KI. Substitution of chloride by iodide occurred, but no reduction for CuII or oxidation of CoII. Oxidation of CoII to CoIII complexes was only observed on the dissolution of CoII complexes in d6-DMSO in air while warming. The isolated solid complexes (CuII and CoII) have been characterized by elemental analyses, conductivities, spectral (IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR), thermal measurements (TGA), and magnetic measurements. The values of molar conductivities suggest non-electrolytes in DMF. The metal complexes are paramagnetic. IR spectra indicate that TPT is tridentate coordinating via the two pyridyl nitrogens and one triazine nitrogen forming two five-membered rings around the metal in M : L complexes and bidentate via one triazine nitrogen and one pyridyl nitrogen in ML2 complexes. In binuclear complexes, L is tridentate toward one CoII and bidentate toward the second CoII in [Co2(L1)Cl4]2.5H2O · EtOH and [Co2(L1)I4(H2O)3]. Electronic spectra and magnetic measurements suggest a distorted-octahedral around CuII and high-spin octahedral and square-pyramidal geometry around CoII.  相似文献

The synthesis and structure of two Cu(II) complexes, {[Cu2(L1)2]?·?DMF} n (1) and [CuL2(phen)] (2), are described. The dinegative hydrazones are obtained by deprotonation of both phenolic and amide moieties of N′-(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-3,5-dimethoxybenzohydrazide (H2L1) and N′-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)pyrazine-2-carbohydrazide (H2L2). In each complex the planar ligand binds the metal ion via phenolate-O, imine-N, and amide-O. Complex 1 is a polymer in which phenoxo-bridged binuclear Cu(II) units are further joined by equatorial–apical amide-O bridges. The Cu···Cu separations are 3.0306 and 3.8217?Å for the phenolate-O bridged pair and the amide-O bridged pair, respectively. Complex 2 is a monomer where chelating phen displays axial–equatorial bonding, with square-pyramidal Cu(II).  相似文献
