图1所示是探究液体压强规律的演示器材,用于演示: (1)液体内部向各个方向都有压强; (2)同一深度液体向各个方向的压强相等; (3)液体压强随深度的增加而增大. 但在使用过程中,由于玻璃筒各端口都用橡皮膜封住,无法与外界大气压相通.当将实验器材置于水槽中时,玻璃筒内的密闭气体由于橡皮膜向内凹陷而被压缩,导致内部气体压强增大,影响橡皮膜向内凹陷的程度,从而影响了实验的直观效果.  相似文献

A piezometer was designed to measure volume change of foods and other biomaterials as a function of pressure, and calibrated and tested up to 700 MPa at 25°C. The sensor was constructed from a polycarbonate tube, sealed with a plug on one end and a removable piston on the other. Samples were placed inside the tube. Upon pressurization, the piston displaced inside the tube, transmitting pressure to the sample; impedance in a magnet wire coil on the outside of the tube was measured to characterize volume change. Sensor calibration with water yielded a polynomial that characterized volume as a function of impedance. Sensor precision is 0.3% of measured volume; its resolution allows measurement of sub-microliter volume changes. Testing with ethanol and sucrose solutions yielded data within 1% of previously reported values. The sensor's applications include measurement of volumetric properties of liquid and solid biomaterials, and chemical reaction volumes.  相似文献

A novel highly sensitive detector for long wavelength infrared radiation, called charge sensitive infrared phototransistor (CSIP), is described, with a stress put on the report of recent improvements in the quantum efficiency. Metallic antenna structure placed on the surface to convert incident radiation has to be optimized. In case of the CSIP, where the absorbing quantum well is very close (~100 nm) to the antenna, near field effects have to be taken into consideration. We consider several patterns based either on a double capacitive (dot) or inductive (hole) grating. We present results of a study comparing four different geometries showing that cross shape hole arrays are most promising candidates reaching efficiencies of almost 8%. Further strategies to optimize essential parameters of antennas by using finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulations are considered.  相似文献

The measurement and calculation of the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron currently provides the most stringent test of QED. In the past, one of the limitations in the experiment has been the small inhomogeneous component of the magnetic field which has been used to detect the magnet resonances of the trapped electron. We have developed a technique which allows us to reduce this inhomogeneous field by as much as two orders of magnitude and have demonstrated the technique with a factor of fifteen reduction, virtually eliminating the broadening of the magnetic lines in our geonium atom.  相似文献
