Two new isostructural 3D lanthanide–organic frameworks [H2N(Me)2] [Ln3(OH)(bpt)3(H2O)3] (DMF)2?(H2O)4 ( 1‐Ln ; Ln=Sm and Eu) with a 1D channel (25 Å) have been successfully assembled from the rare trinuclear [Ln3(OH)(COO)9] clusters and biphenyl‐3,4′,5‐tricarboxylic acid (H3bpt) and exhibit high stability towards water in the pH range 3–10. MOF 1‐Eu is a promising luminescent probe for sensing Fe3+ in aqueous solution and is also selective towards rhodamine B (RhB) with a superior adsorption capacity of 735 mg g?1, which is the highest among the reported Ln‐MOFs for RhB removal so far. Periodic DFT calculations further confirmed the selective adsorption of rhodamine B over other dyes.  相似文献

Three new isostructural 3D lanthanide metal–organic frameworks (Ln‐MOFs), {H[LnL(H2O)]?2 H2O}n ( 1‐Ln ) (Ln=Eu3+, Gd3+ and Tb3+), based on infinite lanthanide‐carboxylate chains were constructed by employing an ether‐separated 5,5′‐oxydiisophthalic acid (H4L) ligand under solvothermal reaction. 1‐Eu and 1‐Tb exhibit strong red and green emission, respectively, through the antenna effect, as demonstrated through a combination of calculation and experimental results. Moreover, a series of dichromatic doped 1‐EuxTby MOFs were fabricated by introducing different concentrations of Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions, and they display an unusual variation of luminescent colors from green, yellow, orange to red. 1‐Eu with channels decorated by ether O atoms and the open metal sites displays good performance for CO2 capture and conversion between CO2 and epoxides into cyclic carbonates.  相似文献

Host‐guest encapsulation of functional organic dye into a porous metal‐organic framework can give rise to the development of new functional materials. In this work, by intercalating the stilbazolium‐type dye (DEAST)I (4′‐diethylamino‐N‐methyl stilbazolium) into four lanthanide layered metal‐organic complexes (Ln‐LMOCs), i. e. {[Ln(BTB)(H2O)2]?3(DMF)?2(H2O)}n (Ln=La (1), Nd (2), Sm (3), Er (4)), four responsive (DEAST)I@Ln‐LMOC composites have been prepared, serving as multifunctional performance platform. The core–shell structures of (DEAST)I@Ln‐LMOC composites have been fully characterized by IR, UV/Vis, PXRD, SEM, TEM, TGA and ESR. Significantly, after intercalation of dyes, the (DEAST)I@Ln‐LMOC composites exhibit enhanced luminescent sensing properties in detecting Fe3+ with much higher water stabilities. The luminescent sensing behavior stems from the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) from the π‐electron‐rich BTB ligands to the Fe3+, and their higher water stabilities are induced by electrostatic interactions and lower porosity. Specially, the characteristic emissions of Sm3+ will not be affected after the encapsulation guest dyes, which provide a theoretical guide for the modulation of luminescence devices. Finally, better ion conductivities and diminished photocurrents can be achieved after the embedding of the functional organic dye. In all, the formation of (DEAST)I@Ln‐LMOC composites with core–shell structures can be utilized as a multifunctional platform with good stability.  相似文献

Two macrobicyclic ligands derived from an 18‐membered tetralactam ring and 2,2′‐bipyridine or 2,6‐bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)pyridine moieties, 1 and 2 , respectively, form stable complexes with GdIII, EuIII, and TbIII ions in aqueous solution. The ligand‐based luminescence is retained in the GdIII cryptates, whereas this radiative deactivation is quenched in the EuIII and TbIII cryptates by ligand‐to‐metal energy transfer, resulting in the usual metal‐centered emission spectra. Singlet‐ and triplet‐state energies, emission‐decay lifetimes, and luminescence yields were measured. [Tb⊂ 1 ]3+ cryptate shows a long luminescence lifetime (τ=1.12 ms) and a very high metal luminescence quantum yield (Φ=0.25) in comparison with those reported in the literature for Tb3+ complexes sensitized by a bipyridine chromophore. By comparison to [Ln⊂ 1 ]3+, [Ln⊂ 2 ]3+ presents markedly lower luminescence properties, due to worse interaction between the 2,6‐bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)pyridine unit and the metal ion. Moreover, the luminescent metal and the triplet ligand energy levels of [Eu⊂ 2 ]3+ do not match. The effects of H2O molecules coordinated to the metal centre and of thermally activated decay processes on nonradiative deactivation to the ground‐state are also reported.  相似文献

The preparation and characterization of a series of complexes of the Yb and Eu cations in the oxidation state II and III with the tetradentate N,O‐donor tripodal ligands (tris(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine (TPA), BPA? (HBPA=bis(2‐pyridylmethyl)(2‐hydroxybenzyl)amine), BPPA? (HBPPA=bis(2‐pyridylmethyl)(3.5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzyl)amine), and MPA2? (H2MPA=(2‐pyridylmethyl)bis(3.5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzyl)amine) is reported. The X‐ray crystal structures of the heteroleptic Ln2+ complexes [Ln(TPA)I2] (Ln=Eu, Yb) and [Yb(BPA)I(CH3CN)]2, of the Ln2+ homoleptic [Ln(TPA)2]I2 (Ln=Sm, Eu, Yb) and [Eu(BPA)2] complexes, and of the Ln3+ [Eu(BPPA)2]OTf and [Yb(MPA)2K(dme)2] (dme=dimethoxyethane) complexes have been determined. Cyclic voltammetry studies carried out on the bis‐ligand complexes of Eu3+ and Yb3+ show that the metal center reduction occurs at significantly lower potentials for the BPA? ligand as compared with the TPA ligand. This suggests that the more electron‐rich character of the BPA? ligand results in a higher reducing character of the lanthanide complexes of BPA? compared with those of TPA. The important differences in the stability and reactivity of the investigated complexes are probably due to the observed difference in redox potential. Preliminary reactivity studies show that whereas the bis‐TPA complexes of Eu2+ and Yb2+ do not show any reactivity with heteroallenes, the [Eu(BPA)2] complex reduces CS2 to afford the first example of a lanthanide trithiocarbonate complex.  相似文献

A novel luminescent microporous lanthanide metal–organic framework (Ln‐MOF) based on a urea‐containing ligand has been successfully assembled. Structural analysis revealed that the framework features two types of 1D channels, with urea N?H bonds projecting into the pores. Luminescence studies have revealed that the Ln‐MOF exhibits high sensitivity, good selectivity, and a fast luminescence quenching response towards Fe3+, CrVI anions, and picric acid. In particular, in the detection of Cr2O72? and picric acid, the Ln‐MOF can be simply and quickly regenerated, thus exhibiting excellent recyclability. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first example of a multi‐responsive luminescent Ln‐MOF sensor for Fe3+, CrVI anions, and picric acid based on a urea derivative. This Ln‐MOF may potentially be used as a multi‐responsive regenerable luminescent sensor for the quantitative detection of toxic and harmful substances.  相似文献

The reactions of Cd(NO3)2·4H2O with NH4SCN and 2,4‐dpa (2,4‐dpa = 2,4‐dipyridineamine) in CH3OH afforded the one‐dimensional coordination polymer [Cd(NCS)2(2,4‐dpa)2]n, 1 , while reaction of Cd(NO3)2·4H2O with NH4SCN and PmPa (PmPa = 2‐(1‐piperazinyl)pyrimidine) in CH3OH gave complex of the type [Cd(NCS)2(PmPa)2]n, 2. Each of the 2,4‐dpa ligand in complex 1 is coordinated to the Cd2+ metal center through pyridyl nitrogen atoms to form the one‐dimensional chain structures. The distorted {CdN4S2} octahedral coordination geometry around Cd2+ center is completed by pairs of bidentate thiocyanato ligands. Complex 2 has the 1‐D arrangement constructed through one‐dimensional double μ(N,S) end‐to‐end bridging thiocyanato groups bridged Cd(II) chains interconnected through PmPa ligands.  相似文献

The reaction of lanthanide(III) nitrates with 4‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyleneamino‐1,2,4‐triazole (L) was studied. The compounds [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] ? 2 L, in which Ln=Eu ( 1 ), Gd ( 2 ), Tb ( 3 ), or Dy ( 4 ), obtained in a mixture of MeCN/EtOH have the same structure, as shown by XRD. In the crystals of these compounds, the mononuclear complex units [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] are linked to L molecules through intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions to form a 2D polymeric supramolecular architecture. An investigation into the optical characteristics of the Eu3+‐, Tb3+‐, and Dy3+‐containing compounds ( 1 , 3 , and 4 ) showed that these complexes displayed metal‐centered luminescence. According to magnetic measurements, compound 4 exhibits single‐ion magnet behavior, with ΔEeff/kB=86 K in a field of 1500 Oe.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of Ln3+ nitrate [Ln(Tpm)(NO3)3] ⋅ MeCN (Ln=Yb ( 1Yb ), Eu ( 1Eu )) and chloride [Yb(Tpm)Cl3] ⋅ 2MeCN ( 2Yb ), [Eu(Tpm)Cl2(μ-Cl)]2 ( 2Eu ) complexes coordinated by neutral tripodal tris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)methane (Tpm). The crystal structures of 1Ln and 2Ln were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction, while for 1Yb high resolution experiment was performed. Nitrate complexes 1Ln are isomorphous and both adopt mononuclear structure. Chloride 2Yb is monomeric, while Eu3+ analogue 2Eu adopts a binuclear structure due to two μ2-bridging chloride ligands. The typical lanthanide luminescence was observed for europium complexes ( 1Eu and 2Eu ) as well as for terbium and dysprosium analogues ([Ln(Tpm)(NO3)3] ⋅ MeCN, Ln=Tb ( 1Tb ), Dy ( 1Dy ); [Ln(Tpm)Cl3] ⋅ 2MeCN, Ln=Tb ( 2Tb ), Dy ( 2Dy )).  相似文献

A series of isomorphic lanthanide metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) Ln(TATAB)?(DMF)4(H2O)(MeOH)0.5 (LnTATAB, Ln=Eu, Tb, Sm, Dy, Gd; H3TATAB=4,4′,4′′‐s‐triazine‐1,3,5‐triyltri‐p‐aminobenzoic acid) have been solvothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Among these MOFs, TbTATAB exhibits good water stability and a high fluorescence quantum yield. Because mercury ions (Hg2+) have a high affinity to nitrogen atoms, and the space between multiple nitrogen atoms from triazine and imino groups is suitable for interacting with Hg2+ ions, TbTATAB shows highly selective and sensitive detection of Hg2+ in aqueous solution with a detection limit of 4.4 nm . Furthermore, it was successfully applied to detect Hg2+ ions in natural water samples.  相似文献

Polyoxometalates (POMs) with heterodinuclear lanthanoid cores, TBA8H4[{Ln(μ2‐OH)2Ln′}(γ‐SiW10O36)2] ( LnLn′ ; Ln=Gd, Dy; Ln′=Eu, Yb, Lu; TBA=tetra‐n‐butylammonium), were successfully synthesized through the stepwise incorporation of two types of lanthanoid cations into the vacant sites of lacunary [γ‐SiW10O36]8? units without the use of templating cations. The incorporation of a Ln3+ ion into the vacant site between two [γ‐SiW10O36]8? units afforded mononuclear Ln3+‐containing sandwich‐type POMs with vacant sites ( Ln1 ; TBA8H5[{Ln(H2O)4}(γ‐SiW10O36)2]; Ln=Dy, Gd, La). The vacant sites in Ln1 were surrounded by coordinating W? O and Ln? O oxygen atoms. On the addition of one equivalent of [Ln′(acac)3] to solutions of Dy1 or Gd1 in 1,2‐dichloroethane (DCE), heterodinuclear lanthanoid cores with bis(μ2‐OH) bridging ligands, [Dy(μ2‐OH)2Ln′]4+, were selectively synthesized ( LnLn′ ; Ln=Dy, Gd; Ln′=Eu, Yb, Lu). On the other hand, La1 , which contained the largest lanthanoid cation, could not accommodate a second Ln′3+ ion. DyLn′ showed single‐molecule magnet behavior and their energy barriers for magnetization reversal (ΔE/kB) could be manipulated by adjusting the coordination geometry and anisotropy of the Dy3+ ion by tuning the adjacent Ln′3+ ion in the heterodinuclear [Dy(μ2‐OH)2Ln′]4+ cores. The energy barriers increased in the order: DyLu (ΔE/kB=48 K)< DyYb (53 K)< DyDy (66 K)< DyEu (73 K), with an increase in the ionic radii of Ln′3+; DyEu showed the highest energy barrier.  相似文献

In this paper, according to the molecular fragment principle, a series of eight ternary luminescent lanthanide complex systems were assembled, and whose compositions were determined with elemental analysis and infrared spectrum: Ln(MA)3(L)·H2O, where Ln = Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy; HMA = α‐methylacrylic acid; L = 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), 2,2′‐bipyridine (bipy). The photophysical properties of these functional molecular systems were studied with ultraviolet‐visible absorption spectrum, and fluorescence excitation and emission spectrum. It was found that the heterocylic compounds (phen and bipy) act as the main energy donor and luminescence sensitizer for their suitable energy match and effective energy transfer to the emission energy level of Ln3+ ions. MMA ligand was only used as the terminal structural ligand to influence the luminescence. Especially terbium complex systems show the strongest luminescence for the optimum energy match and transfer between phen (bipy) and Tb3+ ion.  相似文献

Water‐soluble thioglycolic acid (TGA)‐capped CdTe quantum dots (QDs) were synthesized in aqueous medium, and then encapsulated in a silica nanosphere by copolymerization of the TGA‐capped CdTe conjugated with (3‐aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APS‐CdTe conjugate), free (3‐aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (=3‐(triethoxysilyl)propan‐1‐amine; APS), and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) in a H2O‐in‐oil reverse microemulsion consisting of Triton X‐100, octanol, cyclohexane, and H2O in the presence of aqueous NH3 solution. The characterizations by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and luminescence spectroscopy shows that the luminescent nanoparticles are monodisperse, spherical, and uniform in size, ca. 50 nm in diameter with a regular core–shell structure. In addition, primary amino groups directly introduced to the nanoparticle's surface by using free APS in the nanoparticle preparation enable the nanoparticles to be used easier as a biolabel. The effects of pH and metal cations on the luminescence of the nanoparticles also suggest that the new nanoparticles could be useful probes for luminescent sensings of pH and Cu2+ ion.  相似文献

Herein, we discuss how, why, and when cascade complexation reactions produce stable, mononuclear, luminescent ternary complexes, by considering the binding of hexafluoroacetylacetonate anions (hfac?) and neutral, semi‐rigid, tridentate 2,6‐bis(benzimidazol‐2‐yl)pyridine ligands ( Lk ) to trivalent lanthanide atoms (LnIII). The solid‐state structures of [Ln( Lk )(hfac)3] (Ln=La, Eu, Lu) showed that [Ln(hfac)3] behaved as a neutral six‐coordinate lanthanide carrier with remarkable properties: 1) the strong cohesion between the trivalent cation and the didentate hfac anions prevented salt dissociation; 2) the electron‐withdrawing trifluoromethyl substituents limited charge‐neutralization and favored cascade complexation with Lk ; 3) nine‐coordination was preserved for [Ln( Lk )(hfac)3] for the complete lanthanide series, whilst a counterintuitive trend showed that the complexes formed with the smaller lanthanide elements were destabilized. Thermodynamic and NMR spectroscopic studies in solution confirmed that these characteristics were retained for solvated molecules, but the operation of concerted anion/ligand transfers with the larger cations induced subtle structural variations. Combined with the strong red photoluminescence of [Eu( Lk )(hfac)3], the ternary system LnIII/hfac?/ Lk is a promising candidate for the planned metal‐loading of preformed multi‐tridentate polymers.  相似文献

Three novel polyoxometalate compounds consisting of Anderson‐type anions and trivalent lanthanide cations, [Ln(H2O)7Cr(OH)6Mo6O18]n·4nH2O (Ln = Ce 1 ; Sm 2 ; Eu 3 ), have been synthesized in aqueous solution and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectra, and TG analyses. Single crystal X‐ray diffractions reveal that the structures of the 1:1 composite compound formed by the heteropolyanion [Cr(OH)6Mo6O18]3? as the building unit and the [Ln(H2O)7]3+ complex fragment as the linker, which exhibit a type of zig‐zag chain with alternating cations and anions through the Mo‐Ot′‐Ln‐Ot′‐Mo linkage in the crystal. The magnetic properties of 1 ? 3 have been studied by measuring their magnetic susceptibility over the temperature range of 2‐300 K. The UV‐vis spectra of 1 give the Mo‐O and CrIII‐O charge transfer transitions at 203 and 543 nm, respectively. In addition, the fluorescent characteristic transition of the Eu3+ ions in compound 3 is reported.  相似文献

A family of monodisperse YF3, YF3:Ce3+ and YF3:Ce3+/Ln3+ (Ln=Tb, Eu) mesocrystals with a morphology of a hollow spindle can be synthesized by a solvothermal process using yttrium nitrate and NH4F as precursors. The effects of reaction time, fluorine source, solvents, and reaction temperature on the synthesis of these mesocrystals have been studied in detail. The results demonstrate that the formation of a hollow spindle‐like YF3 can be ascribed to a nonclassical crystallization process by means of a particle‐based reaction route in ethanol. It has been shown that the fluorine sources selected have a remarkable effect on the morphologies and crystalline phases of the final products. Moreover, the luminescent properties of Ln3+‐doped and Ce3+/Ln3+‐co‐doped spindle‐like YF3 mesocrystals were also investigated. It turns out that Ce3+ is an efficient sensitizer for Ln3+ in the spindle‐like YF3 mesocrystals. Remarkable fluorescence enhancement was observed in Ce3+/Ln3+‐co‐doped YF3 mesocrystals. The mechanism of the energy transfer and electronic transition between Ce3+ and Ln3+ in the host material of YF3 mesocrystals was also explored. The cytotoxicity study revealed that these YF3‐based nanocrystals are biocompatible for applications, such as cellular imaging.  相似文献

A new family of resorcin[4]arene‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), namely, [Eu(HL)(DMF)(H2O)2] ? 3 H2O ( 1 ), [Tb(HL)(DMF)(H2O)2] 3 H2O ( 2 ), [Cd4(L)2(DMF)4(H2O)2] 3 H2O ( 3 ) and [Zn3(HL)2(H2O)2] 2 DMF ? 7 H2O ( 4 ), have been constructed from a new resorcin[4]arene‐functionalized tetracarboxylic acid (H4L=2,8,14,20‐tetra‐ethyl‐6,12,18,24‐tetra‐methoxy‐4,10,16,22‐tetra‐carboxy‐methoxy‐calix[4]arene). Isostructural 1 and 2 exhibit charming 1D motifs built with the cup‐like HL3? anions and rare earth cations. Compounds 3 and 4 show a unique sandwich‐based 2D layer and a fascinating 3D framework, respectively. Remarkably, compounds 1 and 2 display intensive red and green emissions triggered by the efficient antenna effect of organic ligands under UV light. More importantly, systematic luminescence studies demonstrate that Ln‐MOFs 1 and 2 , as efficient multifunctional fluorescent materials, show highly selective and sensitive sensing of Fe3+, polyoxometalates (POMs), and acetone, which represents a rare example of a sensor for quantitatively detecting three different types of analytes. This is also an exceedingly rare example of Fe3+ and POMs detection in aqueous solutions employing resorcin[4]arene‐based luminescent Ln‐MOFs. Furthermore, the possible mechanism of the sensing properties is deduced.  相似文献

Recrystallization of Ln(NO3)3 (Ln = Sm, Eu, Yb) in the presence of 18‐crown‐6 under aqueous conditions yielded [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] · 18‐crown‐6. X‐ray crystallography revealed isomorphous structures for each of the lanthanide complexes where [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] is involved in hydrogen bonding interactions with 18‐crown‐6. The transition point where the structural motif changes from [Ln(18‐crown‐6)(NO3)3] (with the metal residing in the crown cavity) to [Ln(NO3)3(H2O)3] · 18‐crown‐6 has been identified as at the Nd/Sm interface. A similar investigation involving [Ln(tos)3(H2O)6] (tos = p‐toluenesulfonate) and 18‐crown‐6 were resistant to crown incorporation. X‐ray studies show extensive intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen bonding is present.  相似文献

A multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) scaffold was covalently functionalized with a second‐generation polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendron, presenting four terminal amino groups per grafted aryl moiety. These reactive functions were alkylated to obtain a positively charged polycationic dendron/carbon nanotube system ( d‐MWCNTs?Cl ), which eventually underwent anion exchange reaction with a negatively charged and highly luminescent EuIII complex ( [EuL4]?NEt4 , in which L =(2‐naphtoyltrifluoroacetonate)). This process afforded the target material d‐MWCNTs?[EuL4] , in which MWCNTs are combined with red‐emitting EuIII centers through electrostatic interactions with the dendronic branches. Characterization of the novel MWCNT materials was accomplished by means of TGA and TEM, whereas d‐MWCNTs?Cl and d‐MWCNTs? [EuL4] further underwent XPS, SEM and Raman analyses. These studies demonstrate the integrity of the luminescent [EuL4]? center in the luminescent hybrid, the massive load of the cationic binding sites, and the virtually complete anion‐exchange into the final hybrid material. The occurrence of the ion‐pairing interaction with MWCNTs was unambiguously demonstrated through DOSY NMR diffusion studies. Photophysical investigations show that MWCNTs?[EuL4] is a highly soluble and brightly luminescent red hybrid material in which MWCNTs act as photochemically inert scaffolds with negligible UV/Vis absorption, compared with the grafted Eu complex, and with no quenching activity. The high dispersibility of MWCNTs?[EuL4] in a polymer matrix makes it a promising luminophore for applications in material science.  相似文献

Eu3+, Dy3+, and Yb3+ complexes of the dota‐derived tetramide N,N′,N″,N′′′‐[1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetrayltetrakis(1‐oxoethane‐2,1‐diyl)]tetrakis[glycine] (H4dotagl) are potential CEST contrast agents in MRI. In the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes, the Ln3+ ion is in the cage formed by the four ring N‐atoms and the amide O‐atom donor atoms, and a H2O molecule occupies the ninth coordination site. The stability constants of the [Ln(dotagl)] complexes are ca. 10 orders of magnitude lower than those of the [Ln(dota)] analogues (H4dota=1,4,7,10‐tetraazacyclododecane‐1,4,7,10‐tetraacetic acid). The free carboxylate groups in [Ln(dotagl)] are protonated in the pH range 1–5, resulting in mono‐, di‐, tri‐, and tetraprotonated species. Complexes with divalent metals (Mg2+, Ca2+, and Cu2+) are also of relatively low stability. At pH>8, Cu2+ forms a hydroxo complex; however, the amide H‐atom(s) does not dissociate due to the absence of anchor N‐atom(s), which is the result of the rigid structure of the ring. The relaxivities of [Gd(dotagl)] decrease from 10 to 25°, then increase between 30–50°. This unusual trend is interpreted with the low H2O‐exchange rate. The [Ln(dotagl)] complexes form slowly, via the equilibrium formation of a monoprotonated intermediate, which deprotonates and rearranges to the product in a slow, OH?‐catalyzed reaction. The formation rates are lower than those for the corresponding Ln(dota) complexes. The dissociation rate of [Eu(dotagl)] is directly proportional to [H+] (0.1–1.0M HClO4); the proton‐assisted dissociation rate is lower for [Eu(H4dotagl)] (k1=8.1?10?6 M ?1 s?1) than for [Eu(dota)] (k1=1.4?10?5 M ?1 s?1).  相似文献
