A series of N,N‐disubstituted‐4‐[(4‐aminophenyl)diazenyl]benzylidene‐4′‐alkylanilines (azo dyes) were synthesized from the reaction of the corresponding benzaldehyde with alkylanilines. These azo dyes exhibit nematic and SmC phases on heating. Their order parameter, photo‐stability and miscibility were studied by investigation of a representative sample.  相似文献

A new enantiopure 6‐monobromo‐substituted BINAP has been prepared via a one‐step nickel‐catalyzed coupling reaction in moderate yield. It is an important intermediate for asymmetric 2,2′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl (BINAP) derivatives. Its structure was elucidated by NMR spectral and elemental analysis.  相似文献

Acyl chlorides reacted with ammonium thiocyanate and carbonic dihydrazide under phase‐transfer catalysis to first afford 2,2′‐bis(acylaminothiocarbonyl)‐carbonic dihydrazides, which further cyclized in the presence of glacial acetic acid to efficiently give 1‐(5′‐acylamino‐1′,3′,4′‐thiadiazol‐2′‐yl)‐4‐acyl‐thiosemicarbazides in high yield.  相似文献

Three series of fluorinated phenyl 4‐[(4‐n‐alkoxy‐2,3‐difluorophenyl)ethynyl]benzoate liquid crystals have been synthesized. Their phase transition temperatures were measured by texture observation in a polarizing microscope and confirmed by DSC. A simple transformation of 2‐alkylfurans and 2‐formylbenzoic acids into 4‐unsubstituted 3‐(3‐oxoalkyl)isocoumarins is described. It is based on the synthesis of 2‐(2‐carboxybenzyl)furans followed by their acid‐catalyzed recyclization to the target isocoumarins.  相似文献

Abstract

A new methacrylamide monomer, 4‐methacrylamidophenyl‐2′,3′‐benzostyryl ketone (MPBSK) having a free‐radical polymerizable group and a photocrosslinkable functional group, was synthesized by reacting 4‐(2′,3′‐benzocinnamoyl)aniline with methacryloyl chloride in the presence of triethyl amine. The monomer, MPBSK was polymerized in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) at 70°C using benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as the initiator. The polymer was characterized by UV, IR, 1H‐NMR, and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy. The polymer was found to be soluble in several polar aprotic solvents and in chlorinated solvents but insoluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and in alcohols. The molecular weight data of the polymer as obtained from gel permeation chromatography suggests a higher tendency for chain termination by disproportionation than dimerization. The glass transition temperature of the polymer was determined by differential scanning calorimetry. Thermogravimetric analysis of the polymer carried out in air reveals that it possesses good thermal stability required of a negative photoresist. The photocrosslinking property of the polymer was investigated by irradiating the polymer solution with UV light in the presence and absence of triplet photosensitizers. The effect of the solvent on the rate of photocrosslinking of the polymer was also studied.  相似文献

2,2‐Bis[4‐(4‐aminophenoxy)phenyl] propane (BAPP), as a monomer to prepare polyimide, was synthesized from Bisphenol A and p‐chloronitrobenzene via the nucleophilic substitution reaction. The structures of the diamine monomer BAPP and an intermediate dinitrocompound 2,2′‐bis(4‐nitrophenoxy phenyl) propane (BNPP) were confirmed by FTIR and NMR. A novel polyimide was derived from BAPP and 3,3′,4,4′‐oxydiphthalic dianhydride (ODPA) in DMAc by a two‐step method. FTIR, DSC, TGA, and DMA were employed to characterize the precursor and the polyimide. The glass transition temperature of the polyimide was about 225–230°C. The measurement of mechanical properties indicated that the polyimide exhibited a typical yield behavior of thermoplastic polymers, which is very different from other polyimides. The elongation at break of the polyamic acid and polyimide was 6% and 29%, respectively.  相似文献

Novel porphyrin derivatives with twelve flexible alkyl chains, namely meso‐tetra[4‐(3,4,5‐n‐trialkoxybenzoylamino)phenyl]porphyrins (1a, n = 12; 1b, n = 16) and the zinc complex (2a) were synthesized. The mesomorphic properties were investigated by DSC, WAXD and polarizing optical microscopy; the results showed that 1a and 2a exhibit a pseudo‐hexagonal columnar phase, and 1b a rectangular (Col) phase over a wide temperature range including room temperature.  相似文献

Abstract

rac‐2,2′‐Diamino‐3,3′‐diethoxycarbonyl‐8,8′‐diphenyl‐1,1′‐biazulene was synthesized from diethyl 2‐aminoazulene‐1,3‐dicarboxylate and was optically resolved into two enantiomers of S‐form and R‐form. The enantioselective oxidative couplings with two chiral amines [(?)‐sparteine and (R)‐(+)‐α‐methylbenzylamine] and ferric chloride catalyst, and the asymmetric couplings with two chiral oxovanadium(IV) complexes of ethyl 2‐amino‐4‐phenylazulene‐1‐carboxylate, easily yielded chiral 2,2′‐diamino‐3,3′‐diethoxycarbonyl‐8,8′‐diphenyl‐1,1′‐biazulene. Therefore, the introduction of two phenyl groups at the 8‐ and 8′‐postions of each azulene ring using phenyl magnesium bromide via an addition–oxidation–decarboxylation mechanism resulted in 1,1′‐biazulene forming a chiral C2 axis.  相似文献

A novel type of imide‐amide monomer, 4‐maleimidobenzanilide (MB) i.e., N‐[4‐N′‐(phenylaminocarbonyl)phenyl]maleimide was synthesized from maleic anhydride, p‐aminobenzoic acid and aniline. Radical polymerization of MB and its copolymerization with MMA (methyl methacrylate), initiated by AIBN, were performed in THF solvent at 65°C. Nine copolymer samples were prepared using different feed ratios of comonomers. All the polymer samples have been characterized by a solubility test, intrinsic viscosity measurements, FT‐IR and 1H‐NMR spectral analysis, and thermo‐gravimetric analysis. The values of monomer reactivity ratios of MB‐MMA system (r1, r2) and the Alfrey‐Price parameters Q1 and e1 were determined.  相似文献

The phenylmethacrylamide monomer, 1‐(4‐methacrylamidophenyl)‐1‐(4‐nitrophenyl)prop‐1‐en‐3‐one (MPNP) containing a photosensitive group was synthesized by reacting 4‐nitrocinnamoylaniline with methacryloyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine at 0–5°C. The functional monomer, MPNP was polymerized in ethyl methyl ketone (EMK) under nitrogen atmosphere at 70°C using benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as the initiator. The synthesized polymer was characterized by UV, IR, 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR spectroscopy. The molecular weight data of the polymer as obtained from gel permeation chromatography suggests a higher tendency for chain termination by radical recombination than disproportionation. The thermal studies of the polymer were obtained from thermogravimetric analysis. The glass transition temperature of the polymer was determined by differential scanning calorimetry. The solubility of the polymer was tested in various organic solvents at room temperature. The photosensitivity of the polymer was investigated in various solvents in the presence and absence of triplet photosensitizers. The effect of the different solvents nature and concentration on the rate of photocrosslinking of the polymer were also examined for using the polymer as negative photoresist materials.  相似文献

A liquid crystalline physical gel has been prepared from the mixture of a nematic liquid crystal and a low molecular mass gelling agent containing a hydrogen‐bonding moiety. The newly synthesized liquid crystalline compound exhibited photochromism in the crystalline solid phase. Although photochromism was not observed in the nematic gel state of the mixture, the lifetime of photochromism in the solid phase became longer, compared with that of a single liquid crystalline compound. Some Raman bands of the mixture showed a marked change in both intensity and frequency through the phase transitions. These bands have been assigned to the vibrational modes related to the core part of molecule.  相似文献

The article describes an effective synthesis and chemical transformations of 6‐(morpholine‐4‐sulfonyl)‐2,3,4‐quinolinetricarboxylic acid. The key step is the Pfitzinger reaction of 3,3‐dichloro‐2‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐indole with diethyl 2‐oxosuccinate. Selective 2‐decarboxylation of the tricarboxylic acid followed by reaction of the resulting anhydride with a primary amine led to the formation of the 1,3‐dioxo‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrrolo[3,4‐c]quinoline scaffold with interesting pharmacological activity.  相似文献

The (batre)[CuBr4] complex is produced by the reaction of CuBr2 and (batre)Br2 in concentrated HBr; its crystal structure is determined. The acentric unit cell (Pn space group) has the following parameters: a = 7.626(2), b = 8.945(2), c = 11.702(2), = 96.69(3)°, V = 792.8(3)3, and Z=1 ((batre)[CuBr4] composition). The structure of the complex is built up of [CuBr4]2- tetrahedral anions and (batre)2+ uncoordinated cations. The Cu—Br distances are 2.362–2.385 and the BrCuBr angles are 99.73–129.79°.  相似文献

Enantiomerically pure (S)‐RO363 was synthesized by using (R,R) Salen Co(III) complex for the resolution of terminal epoxide.
