A series of thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based liquid crystalline molecules has been synthesised. To investigate the effects of alkyl substituent groups and structure of mesogenic cores, eight kinds of thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based molecules containing different alkyl substituent groups and mesogenic cores have been synthesised. These molecules were characterised by differential scanning calorimetry, polarising optical microscopy, ultraviolet–visible absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and polarised fluorescence spectroscopy. The results indicated that the thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based donor-acceptor-donor (D-A-D) type molecules showed the presence of a smectic A phase. Changes in the length of alkyl substituents and mesogenic cores affected the phase transitions, optical and electrochemical properties of the molecules. 相似文献

New isothiocyanato liquid crystal (LC) materials based on thieno[3,2-b]thiophene core have been synthesised and characterised. Their mesomorphic and physical properties were evaluated. The results indicate that most of the new compounds exhibit only enantiotropic smectic A phases with high clearing points, and the difluorinated compounds (A3 and A6), in particular, also display a stable nematic phase with low melting points. Compared with the corresponding biphenyl and thiophene-phenyl analogues, these thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based compounds possess increased birefringence (the highest value found to be 0.40) and mesogenic phase intervals. These new thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based LCs exhibit a high birefringence and a high clearing point and are of potential use as components of high birefringence mixtures. 相似文献

Background: Heterocyclic compounds and their fused analogs, which contain pharmacophore fragments such as pyridine, thiophene and pyrimidine rings, are of great interest due to their broad spectrum of biological activity. Chemical compounds containing two or more pharmacophore groups due to additional interactions with active receptor centers usually enhance biological activity and can even lead to a new type of activity. The search for new effective neurotropic drugs in the series of derivatives of heterocycles containing pharmacophore groups in organic, bioorganic and medical chemistry is a serious problem. Methods: Modern methodology of drugs involves synthesis, physicochemical study, molecular modeling and selection of active compounds through virtual screening and experimental evaluation of the biological activity of new chimeric compounds with pharmacophore fragments. For the synthesis of new compounds, classical organic methods were used and developed. For the evaluation of neurotropic activity of new synthesized compounds, some biological methods were used according to indicators characterizing anticonvulsant, sedative and antianxiety activity as well as side effects. For docking analysis, various soft ware packages and methods were used. Results: As a result of multistep reactions, 11 new, tri- and tetracyclic heterocyclic systems were obtained. The studied compounds exhibit protection against pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) seizures as well as some psychotropic effects. The biological assays evidenced that nine of the eleven studied compounds showed a high anticonvulsant activity by antagonism with pentylenetetrazole. The toxicity of the compounds is low, and they do not induce muscle relaxation in the studied doses. According to the study of psychotropic activity, it was found that the selected compounds have an activating behavior and anxiolytic effects on the “open field” and “elevated plus maze” (EPM) models. The data obtained indicate the anxiolytic (antianxiety) activity of the derivatives of tricyclic thieno[2,3-b]pyridines and tetracyclic pyridothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-8-ones, especially pronounced in compounds 3b–f and 4e. The studied compounds increase the latent time of first immobilization on the “forced swimming” (FS) model and exhibit antidepressant effects; compounds 3e and 3f especially exhibit these effects, similarly to diazepam. Docking studies revealed that compounds 3c and 4b bound tightly in the active site of γ-aminobutyric acid type A (GABAA) receptors with a value of the scoring function that estimates free energy of binding (∆G) at −10.0 ± 5 kcal/mol. Compound 4e showed the best affinity ((∆G) at −11.0 ± 0.54 kcal/mol) and seems to be an inhibitor of serotonin (SERT) transporter. Compounds 3c–f and 4e practically bound with the groove of T4L of 5HT_1A and blocked it completely, while the best affinity observed was in compound 3f ((∆G) at −9.3 ± 0.46 kcal/mol). Conclusions: The selected compounds have an anticonvulsant, activating behavior and anxiolytic effects and at the same time exhibit antidepressant effects. 相似文献

To explore the effect of the introduction of heteroatoms on the properties of porphyrin materials, a new porphyrin-based derivative small-molecule donor named as PorTT-T was designed and synthesized based on alkyl-thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)-substituted porphyrins. The linker bridge and end groups of PorTT-T were the same as those of XLP-II small-molecule donor materials, while the side-chain attached to the core of thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)-substituted porphyrin was different. Measurements of intrinsic properties showed that PorTT-T has wide absorption and appropriate energy levels in the UV-visible range. A comparison of the morphologies of the two materials using atomic force microscopy showed that PorTT-T has a better surface morphology with a smaller root-mean-square roughness, and can present closer intermolecular stacking as compared to XLP-II. The device characterization results showed that PorTT-T with the introduced S atom has a higher open circuit voltage of 0.886 eV, a higher short circuit current of 12.03 mAcm−2, a fill factor of 0.499, a high photovoltaic conversion efficiency of 5.32%, better external quantum efficiency in the UV-visible range, and higher hole mobility. 相似文献

Taking into account previously obtained biological results on some polyheterocyclic compounds (containing different heteroatoms) and in particular on several 8-amino-5-isopropyl-2,2-dimethyl-10-(methylthio)-1,4-dihydro-2H-pyrano[4’’,3’’:4’,5’]pyrido[3’,2’:4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidines Ia-v we have carried out the synthesis of twentyone 8-amino-5-isobutyl-2,2-dimethyl-10-(methylthio)-1,4-dihydro-2H-pyrano[4’’,3’’:4’,5’]pyrido[3’,2’:4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidines 6. Therefore we have slightly modified the structure of the previously studied I introducing at C-5 an isobutyl group instead of the previously examined isopropyl ones in order to see if this variation (changing a little the lipophilicity) will affect the biological activity. Furthermore thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-8-thione 7 and their S-alkylated 8 were synthesized. Finally by alkylation of 5-isobutyl-2,2-dimethyl-10-thioxo-1,4,10,11-tetrahydro-2H-pyrano[4'',3'':4',5']pyrido[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-8(9H)-one 3 with alkyl dichlorides (bifunctional reagents) we realized the cyclization of a thiazole or thiazine ring on the [b] side of the pyrimidine ring with formation of the new condensed pentaheterocyclic systems: pyrano[4'',3'':4',5']pyrido[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-d][1,3]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-8-one 11 and pyrano[4''',3''':4'',5'']pyrido[3'',2'':4',5']thieno[3',2':4,5]pyrimido[2,1-b][1,3]thiazin-8-one 12. It was found that some of the synthesized compounds showed interesting antimicrobial activity (by agar diffusion method) against some gram-positive and gram-negative bacilli strains. 相似文献

Two new 2‐dodecyl benzotriazole (BTz) based donor‐acceptor‐donor (DAD) type polymers were synthesized and characterized in terms of their electrochemical and spectral properties. These DAD type polymers were synthesized electrochemically from furan or thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (TT) end‐capped BTz monomers. Furan based and thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene based monomers showed monomer oxidations at 1.15 and 1.25 V, respectively, which eased the formation of conducting polymer films without overoxidation. Cyclic voltammetry and spectroelectrochemistry studies showed that both materials are multicolored electrochromic polymers. A novel class of thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (TT) and isoindigo based copolymers were synthesized and evaluated as electron donor and hole transport materials in bulk‐heterojunction polymer solar cells (BHJ PSCs). These π‐conjugated donor‐acceptor polymers were derived from fused TT and isoindigo structures bridged by thiophene units. The band‐gaps and the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) levels of the polymers were tuned using different conjugating lengths of thiophene units on the main chains, providing band‐gaps from 1.55 to 1.91 eV and HOMO levels from ?5.34 to ?5.71 eV, respectively. The corresponding lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) levels were appropriately adjusted with the isoindigo units. Conventional BHJ PSCs (ITO/PEDOT:PSS/active layer/interlayer/Al) with an active layer composed of the polymer and PC71BM were fabricated for evaluation. Power conversion efficiency from a low of 1.25% to a high of 4.69% were achieved with the best performing device provided by the D?π?A polymer with a relatively board absorption spectrum, high absorption coefficient, and more uniform blend morphology. These results demonstrate the potential of this class of thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene‐isoindigo‐based polymers as efficient electron donor and hole transport polymers for BHJ PSCs. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The title compound 4,8-bis(2-Hydroxybenzyl)-cis-octahydro [1,4]-oxazino [3,2-b]-1,4-oxazine (1) has been synthesized by the reaction of N-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-2-amino-1-ethanol with glyoxal. This novel compound was characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and 1H NMR. The structure was also confirmed by a single crystal X-ray study. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic C2/C space group with unit cell dimensions: a = 18.318(4), b = 8.6110(17), c = 13.267(3) Å, = 119.90(3), V = 1814.1(6) Å3, Z = 4. The two fused six-membered rings in 1 adopt chairlike conformations slightly flattened around the nitrogen atoms. In the central fusion bond, the geometry is a staggered conformation, with the two angular hydrogen atoms in the cis positions with respect to the rings, the nitrogen atoms antiperiplanar to each other, while the oxygen atoms remain gauche to each other and antiperiplanar to the hydrogen atoms. The ring conformations in 1 have been discussed on the basis of the anomeric effects and the presence of two strong intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the phenolic hydrogens and the amino groups. 相似文献

The present paper is devoted to the search for drug-like molecules with anticancer properties using the thiazolo[3,2-b][1,2,4]triazole-6-one scaffold. A series of 24 novel thiazolo-[3,2-b][1,2,4]triazole-6-ones with 5-aryl(heteryl)idene- and 5-aminomethylidene-moieties has been synthesized employing three-component and three-stage synthetic protocols. A mixture of Z/E-isomers was obtained in solution for the synthesized 5-aminomethylidene-thiazolo[3,2-b]-[1,2,4]triazole-6-ones. The compounds have been studied for their antitumor activity in the NCI 60 lines screen. Some compounds present excellent anticancer properties at 10 μM. Derivatives 2h and 2i were the most active against cancer cell lines without causing toxicity to normal somatic (HEK293) cells. A preliminary SAR study had been performed for the synthesized compounds. 相似文献

The effect of microwave irradiation on the reactions of 2-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-R1-furo[3,2-b]pyrrole-5-carboxhydrazides 1 with 5-arylfuran-2-carboxaldehydes 2, thiophene-2-carboxaldehyde (3) and methyl 2-formylfuro[3,2-b]pyrrole-5-carboxylates 4 has been studied. Reaction of 1a with 4-substituted 1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one 10 led to imidazole derivative 13. 1,2,4-Triazole-3-thiones 15a,b were synthesized by two-step reaction of 1a with potassium isothiocyanate and phenyl isothiocyanate, respectively, and subsequent base-catalyzed cyclization of thiosemicarbazides

In the present investigation, a simple and straightforward methodology for the preparation of novel bifunctional thienopyrazolopyrazines 4a–d has been reported. Synthesis of thieno or furopyrazolopyrazines 5a , b , e , f was achieved by the reaction of o-amino-esters 4a , b , e , f with 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran. The latter pyrrolyl derivatives 5a , b , e , f were used as starting intermediates for the synthesis of new pyrimido, pyrido, and pyrazino heterocycles fused to the thieno or furopyrazolopyrazine moiety. Furthermore, alkaline hydrolysis of the o-amino-ester 4a followed by acidification afforded the corresponding o-amino carboxylic acid 15 , which was used as a versatile precursor for the synthesis of other heterocyclic compounds fused to the thienopyrazolopyrazine ring system, namely: pyrimidine, oxazine, oxazepine, and pyridine derivatives 16–23 . The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed on the basis of elemental and spectral analyses (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy [FT-IR], 1H nuclear magnetic resonance [NMR], and mass spectroscopy [MS] in addition to 13C NMR for some of them). Moreover, from the biological screening, we found that most of the tested compounds exhibited promising antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activities compared with the corresponding reference drugs. 相似文献
