We shall prove some unconnected theorems: (1) (G.C.H.) \omega _{\alpha + 1} \to \left( {\omega _\alpha + \xi } \right)_2^2 when ℵα is regular, │ξ│+<ωα. (2) There is a Jonsson algebra in ℵα+n, and \aleph _{a + n} \not \to \left[ {\aleph _{a + n} } \right]_{\aleph _{a + n} }^{n + 1} if 2^{\aleph _{ - - } } = \aleph _{a + n} \cdot (3) If λ>ℵ0 is a strong limit cardinal, then among the graphs with ≦λ vertices each of valence <λ there is a universal one. In this paper we establish results on the existence of nontangential limits for weighted -harmonic functions in the weighted Sobolev space , for some q>1 and w in the Muckenhoupt A q class, where is the unit ball in . These results generalize the ones in Sect. 3 of Koskela et al., Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 348(2), 755–766, 1996, where the weight was identically equal to one. Weighted -harmonic functions are weak solutions of the partial differential equation
where for some fixed q∈(1,∞), where 0<αβ<∞, and w(x) is a q-admissible weight as in Chap. 1 of Heinonen et al., Nonlinear Potential Theory, 2006. Later, we apply these results to improve on results of Koskela et al., Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 348(2), 755–766, 1996 and Martio and Srebro, Math. We prove the existence of a positive and smooth solution for the following semilinear elliptic problem: % MathType!End!2!1! for anyaR N , 1<p<1+2/N andq=(p+1)/2. This solution decays exponentially as |x|→+∞. Moreover, if |a| is sufficiently small, this positive and rapidly decaying solution is unique. The existence of a positive, self-similar solution % MathType!End!2!1! follows for the following convection-diffusion equation with absorption: % MathType!End!2!1!. It is also a very singular solution. This solution decays as |x|→+∞ for anyt>0 fixed. Because of the nonvariational nature of the elliptic problem, a fixed point method is used for proving the existence result. The uniqueness is proved applying the Implicit Function Theorem. These inequalities, which involve n-tuples of operators, lead to natural generalizations and refinements of some of the classical Clarkson inequalities in the Schatten p-norms. Lp(Rn) boundedness is considered for the multilinear singular integral operator defined by TAf(x) = ∫Rn Ω(x - y)/|x - y|n 1 (A(x) - A(y) - (△)A(y)(x - y))f(y)dy,where Ω is homogeneous of degree zero, integrable on the unit sphere and has vanishing moment of order one. A has derivatives of order one in BMO(Rn). We give a smoothness condition which is fairly weaker than that Ω∈ Lipα(Sn-1) (0 <α≤ 1) and implies the Lp(Rn) (1 < p < oo) boundedness for the operator TA.
