THE SINGLE-POINT QUENCHING OF NONLINEAR DEGENERATE FUNCTIONAL REACTION-DIFFUSION EQUATION

This article is concerned with the quenching phenomena of the nonlinear degenerate functional reaction-diffusion equation. Some results are obtained on the single-point quenching and the uniqueness of quenching.

一类强退化的抛物型方程的双曲特性

MBertsch和R．DalPasso在［1］中研究了方程（其中ψ为严格增函数且为有限数）具有严格增初值的Cauchy问题．讨论了该问题的解与一阶守恒律方程的解的相似性．在[1]中，条件是一个基本假设．本文主要讨论以上方程在退化（即的情况下），相应于特殊初值的Cauchy问题的解仍具有以上双曲现象．     

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS TO A HIGH-ORDER NEUTRAL FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION

In this paper,using the principle of a priori boundedness,we study the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions to a high-order neutral functional differential equation.Some new results for the existence and uniqueness of the periodic solution are obtained.     

CAUCHY PROBLEM FOR A DEGENERATE PARABOLIC EQUATION WITH NON-DIVERGENCE FORM

In this article, it is shown that there exists a unique viscosity solution of the Cauchy problem for a degenerate parabolic equation with non-divergence form.

QUENCHING ON BOUNDARY TO THE NEWTON FILTRATION EQUATION(Ⅰ)

This paper discusses the global existence and quenching of the solution tothe Newton filtration equation with the nonlinear boundary condition. The authors alsodiscuss the profile of the quenching solution in the quenching time and obtain the quenchingrate of the quenching solution.

In this paper, the boundary value problems of p-Laplacian functional differential equation are studied. By using a fixed point theorem in cones,some criteria for the existence of positive solutions are given.     

POSITIVE PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF NONLINEAR FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENCE EQUATION

Using the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, the existence of positive periodic solutions to a class of nonlinear functional difference equations is studied in this paper. Some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions are presented.

THE HOMOGENEOUS DIRICHLET PROBLEM FOR QUASILINEAR ANISOTROPIC DEGENERATE PARABOLIC-HYPERBOLIC EQUATION WITH L~p INITIAL VALUE

The aim of this paper is to prove the well-posedness(existence and uniqueness) of the L p entropy solution to the homogeneous Dirichlet problems for the anisotropic degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations with L p initial value.We use the device of doubling variables and some technical analysis to prove the uniqueness result.Moreover we can prove that the L p entropy solution can be obtained as the limit of solutions of the corresponding regularized equations of nondegenerate parabolic type.

一类多维非线性反应扩散方程有限差分格式的稳定性问题(英文)

本文研究了一类多维线性反应扩散方程差分格式的稳定性.利用量未知元方法,建立了具有增量未知元的有限差分格式;然后利用非线性Galerkin方法,得到该差分格式的稳定性条件.通过对该格式的稳定性分析,说明和经典的差分格式的稳定性相比较,带有增量未知元的有限差分格式的稳定性得到了提高.

This paper investigates the periodic boundary value problems for a class of second order functional differential equations. The monotone iterative technique and the maximum principle are applied to obtain the existence of maximal and minimal solutions.
