Spectroelectrochemical properties of conducting poly(5-cyanoindole) films deposited on indium tin oxide (ITO) and platinum electrodes are investigated using UV-vis and resonant Raman spectroscopies. The transitions from undoped to semi-conducting state of P5CN require the partial oxidation of the polymer to create radical-cations by insertion of charge-neutralizing anions into the polymer. In order to obtain detailed structural information from the vibrational spectra, it is necessary to know the vibrational modes of oxidation-sensitive bands. Vibrational assignments were made on the basis of the results obtained on polyindole and P5CN in acetonitrile solution. The drastic changes in optical absorption and Raman spectra observed at various stage of oxidation were explained by the conversions between at least three different structures. On the basis of the Raman spectra, we have identified the vibrational modes associated with neutral and polaronic segments. The perturbation associated with the coexistence of these polaronic segments has been described as a quinoid structure growing on the expense of the benzoid one. The results obtained indicate that the molecular properties of the conducting polymers at various stages of an oxidation are better revealed by in-situ Raman spectra than by ex-situ studies.  相似文献

To study the photochemistry of metal-silyl complexes the compounds Cp(CO)(2)Fe-SiH(2)(CH(3)) (Cp = eta(5)-C(5)H(5)) and Cp*(CO)(2)((CH(3))(3)P)Mo-SiH(3) (Cp* = eta(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5)) have been isolated in krypton or nitrogen matrices and subsequently detected by Raman spectroscopy. Vibrational assignments for the two compounds are given. Furthermore, differences in the Raman spectra induced by UV irradiation are discussed.  相似文献

The IR and Raman spectra have been determined of the products formed by low-temperature (−20°C) replacement of 2-MeTHF (2-methyltetrahydrofuran) in photochemically produced Cr(CO)5(2-MeTHF) by isocyanogen, CNCN. The IR spectra are interpreted in terms of the formation of an isonitrile and a nitrile complex, Cr(CO)5(CNCN) and Cr(CO)5(NCNC). A detailed study of the IR and Raman spectra of Cr(CO)5(CNCN), which was formed in large excess, reveals that the coordinating CN group of CNCN has coordinating and vibrational properties almost identical to those of the CO ligands in this complex.  相似文献

A systematically varied series of tetrahedral clusters involving ligand and core metal variation has been examined using crystallography, Raman spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, UV-vis-NIR and IR spectroelectrochemistry, and approximate density functional theory, to assess cluster rearrangement to accommodate steric crowding, the utility of metal-metal stretching vibrations in mixed-metal cluster characterization, and the possibility of tuning cluster electronic structure by systematic modification of composition, and to identify cluster species resultant upon electrochemical oxidation or reduction. The 60-electron tetrahedral clusters MIr(3)(CO)(11-x)(PMe(3))(x)(eta(5)-Cp) [M = Mo, x = 0, Cp = C(5)H(4)Me (5), C(5)HMe(4) (6), C(5)Me(5) (7); M = W, Cp = C(5)H(4)Me, x = 1 (13), x = 2 (14)] and M(2)Ir(2)(CO)(10-x)(PMe(3))(x)(eta(5)-Cp) [M = Mo, x = 0, Cp = C(5)H(4)Me (8), C(5)HMe(4) (9), C(5)Me(5) (10); M = W, Cp = C(5)H(4)Me, x = 1 (15), x = 2 (16)] have been prepared. Structural studies of 7, 10, and 13 have been undertaken; these clusters are among the most sterically encumbered, compensating by core bond lengthening and unsymmetrical carbonyl dispositions (semi-bridging, semi-face-capping). Raman spectra for 5, 8, WIr(3)(CO)(11)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Me) (11), and W(2)Ir(2)(CO)(10)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Me)(2) (12), together with the spectrum of Ir(4)(CO)(12), have been obtained, the first Raman spectra for mixed-metal clusters. Minimal mode-mixing permits correlation between A(1) frequencies and cluster core bond strength, frequencies for the A(1) breathing mode decreasing on progressive group 6 metal incorporation, and consistent with the trend in metal-metal distances [Ir-Ir < M-Ir < M-M]. Cyclic voltammetric scans for 5-15, MoIr(3)(CO)(11)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5)) (1), and Mo(2)Ir(2)(CO)(10)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2) (3) have been collected. The [MIr(3)] clusters show irreversible one-electron reduction at potentials which become negative on cyclopentadienyl alkyl introduction, replacement of molybdenum by tungsten, and replacement of carbonyl by phosphine. These clusters show two irreversible one-electron oxidation processes, the easier of which tracks with the above structural modifications; a third irreversible oxidation process is accessible for the bis-phosphine cluster 14. The [M(2)Ir(2)] clusters show irreversible two-electron reduction processes; the tungsten-containing clusters and phosphine-containing clusters are again more difficult to reduce than their molybdenum-containing or carbonyl-containing analogues. These clusters show two one-electron oxidation processes, the easier of which is reversible/quasi-reversible, and the more difficult of which is irreversible; the former occur at potentials which increase on cyclopentadienyl alkyl removal, replacement of tungsten by molybdenum, and replacement of phosphine by carbonyl. The reversible one-electron oxidation of 12 has been probed by UV-vis-NIR and IR spectroelectrochemistry. The former reveals that 12(+) has a low-energy band at 8000 cm(-1), a spectrally transparent region for 12, and the latter reveals that 12(+) exists in solution with an all-terminal carbonyl geometry, in contrast to 12 for which an isomer with bridging carbonyls is apparent in solution. Approximate density functional calculations (including ZORA scalar relativistic corrections) have been undertaken on the various charge states of W(2)Ir(2)(CO)(10)(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2) (4). The calculations suggest that two-electron reduction is accompanied by W-W cleavage, whereas one-electron oxidation proceeds with retention of the tetrahedral core geometry. The calculations also suggest that the low-energy NIR band of 12(+) arises from a sigma(W-W) --> sigma*(W-W) transition.  相似文献

用化学还原法合成了Aucore@Ptshell纳米粒子, 并用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)及X射线衍射(XRD)等技术对纳米粒子进行表征; 采用电化学原位表面增强拉曼光谱(SERS)技术对甲酸的电催化氧化过程进行了研究, 成功地获得了甲酸在Aucore@Ptshell/Pt电极上解离吸附的原位SERS. 结果显示, 在开路电位时, 甲酸能在Aucore@Ptshell/Pt电极表面自发氧化, 解离生成强吸附中间体COad和弱吸附中间体HCOOad, 在电位为+0.10 V时检测到氧化产物CO2的谱峰. 研究结果表明, Aucore@Ptshell/Pt电极对甲酸的氧化具有较高的催化活性和较强的SERS效应, 甲酸在Aucore@Ptshell/Pt电极上的电催化氧化过程遵循双途径机理.  相似文献

Hydrated cesium borates have been synthesized by the reaction of Cs(2)CO(3) with H(3)BO(3) aqueous solution. After reaction equilibria were reached, liquid and solid phases were separated and the FT-IR difference and Raman spectra of each phase were recorded, respectively. The assignments of the recorded FT-IR absorption frequencies and Raman shift are given. The main polyborate anions and their interaction in borate aqueous solution have been proposed. The relations between the existing forms of polyborate anions and the crystallizing solid phases, Cs(2)B(4)O(7).5H(2)O and CsB(5)O(8).4H(2)O, have been gained.  相似文献

The Raman and infrared spectra of solid K2(12)C2O4 x H2O are reported together with, for the first time, the corresponding Raman and infrared spectra of solid K2(13)C2O4 x H2O. Raman spectra of aqueous solutions of both isotopomers are also reported. In the solid state the oxalate anion is planar with D2h symmetry in this salt, whereas in aqueous solution the Raman spectra of the anion are best interpreted on the basis of D2d symmetry. The Raman spectra of solid (NH4)2(12)C2O4 x H2O and (NH4)2(13)C2O4 x H2O, in which the oxalate anion is twisted from planarity by 28 degrees about the CC bond, have also been recorded. Several reassignments have been made. The harmonic force field for the oxalate anion in the D2h, D2 and D2d geometries has been determined in part, and approximate values of key valence force constants determined. All the observed band wavenumbers and 12C/13C isotopic shifts are well reproduced by the force fields. The potential energy distribution of the totally symmetric normal modes of planar oxalate indicates that each mode consists of extensively mixed symmetry corrdinates and that the labels previously used for the bands seen here at 475 and 879 cm(-1) would better be described as v(CC) and deltaS(CO2), respectively, putting them in the same wavenumber order as v(NN) and deltaS(NO2) for the isoelectronic and isostructural molecule N2O4. The stretching force constants of N2O4 and planar C2O4(2-) are established to be in the order f(NN) < f(CC) and f(NO) > f(CO), consistent with the known relative bond lengths.  相似文献

采用共沉淀法制备了不同Pr/Zr比的PrOy-ZrO2固溶体,用激光拉曼光谱(Raman)、X-射线粉末衍射(XRD)、紫外可见吸收光谱(UV-Vis)等技术对固溶体进行了物相结构表征并选择CO氧化作为模型反应考察了固溶体的催化性能。结果表明,随着Pr含量的增加,无定形ZrO2转化为晶相ZrO2的温度提高、热效应下降,而PrOy-ZrO2固溶体的物相结构从单斜相逐步向四方和立方相转变。XRD和Raman光谱得到的物相结构的差别是PrOy-ZrO2固溶体的表层和体相结构不一致造成的,PrOy-ZrO2固溶体表层更易生成低对称性的物相,而且也容易生成非晶相的物相。CO氧化实验表明PrOy-ZrO2固溶体的催化活性与样品的组成有很大关系,其中高温区和低温区分别是PZ-30和PZ-50的CO氧化活性最高。  相似文献

以Zn(NO3)2·6H2O、Zr(NO3)4·5H2O为原料,Na2CO3为沉淀剂,采用并流共沉淀法制备了一系列不同Zn/Zr摩尔比的双金属氧化物催化剂,其结构经XRD、BET、Raman光谱、TEM和H2-TPR表征。结果表明:Zn0.2Zr0.8Ox催化剂为固溶体结构,比表面积最大达46.2 m^2·g^-1,还原性能良好。以催化CO2加氢合成甲醇为目标反应,对不同Zn/Zr摩尔比的催化剂进行性能测试,并考察了反应温度和反应时间对Zn0.2Zr0.8Ox催化剂性能的影响。结果表明:反应温度250℃、空速GHSV为12000 mL·g^-1h^-1、反应压力2 MPa和H2/CO2(体积比)=3/1时,Zn0.2Zr0.8Ox固溶体催化剂催化活性最高,二氧化碳转化率达到了3.5%、甲醇选择性高达75.4%,甲醇收率达到2.6%,且催化剂能够稳定运行100 h而不失活。  相似文献

In order to examine the influence of the transition metal on the metal-disilanyl-fragment and especially the M-Si and Si-Si-bond polarized Raman spectra of the complexes (C(5)R(5))(CO)(2)Fe-Si(2)H(5) {R=H ( 1a); R=Me ( 1b)} and (C(5)R(5))(CO)(2)(PMe(3))M-Si(2)H(5) {R=Me, M=Mo ( 2); R=H, M=W ( 3)} have been recorded. Combined remote laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) and Raman spectroscopy investigations at a distance of 8.6m have been carried out in air and under a simulated Martian atmosphere of 933Pa (7Torr) CO(2) on calcite (CaCO(3)), gypsum (CaSO(4).2H(2)O), and elemental sulfur (S), and LIBS investigations on chalcopyrite (CuFeS(2)) and pyrite (FeS(2)). Both Raman and LIBS techniques have also been used sequentially in air on hematite-coated calcite crystals and on a sample of anhydrite covered with basaltic dust. These experiments demonstrate that by using a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG pulsed laser co-radiating 1064 nm and 532 nm laser beams with a 5x beam expander, it is possible to measure simultaneously both the Raman and LIBS spectra of calcite, gypsum and elemental sulfur by adjusting the laser power electronically. The spectra of calcite, gypsum, and elemental sulfur contain fingerprint Raman lines; however, it was not possible to measure the remote Raman spectra of pyrite and chalcopyrite because of low intensities of Raman lines. In the cases of CuFeS(2), FeS(2), and elemental sulfur, S atomic emission lines in the LIBS spectra were detected only in 7Torr of CO(2) pressure and not in air. No S atomic emission lines were detected for gypsum in air or in CO(2). In the case of coated/dusted minerals, it was possible to remove the coating or dust with the focused LIBS laser and measure the Raman spectra of subsurface minerals with a 532 nm laser excitation. The complementary nature of these two techniques is highlighted and discussed.  相似文献

The porphyrin nicotinic acid binary compounds with different substituents in porphine rings (5-(4-nicotinicoxyldecyloxy)phenyl-10,15,20-triphenylporhyrin 2a, 5-(4-nicotinicoxyldecyloxy)phenyl-10,15,20-tri(4-chlorophenyl)porphyrin 2b and 5-(4-nicotinicoxyldecyloxy)phenyl-10,15,20-tri(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrin 2c) were synthesized. All of them have been characterized, assigned and analyzed by UV–vis, IR, MS and 1H NMR spectra. Their electrochemical and spectroscopic properties were studied by using cyclic voltammetry, fluorescence spectra and Resonance Raman spectra. Different substituents have a little influence on electrochemical behavior and fluorescence spectra. In the Resonance Raman spectra, the substituent has little influence on the skeleton vibration of porphyrin and has much influence on the vibration of phenyl.  相似文献

The electrochemical synthesis of poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV) and different modifications in the electronic distribution upon electrochemical p-doping (oxidation) and n-doping (reduction) of this polymer film have been studied in situ by resonance Raman spectroscopy, optical absorption spectroscopy and ESR spectroscopy. The polymer film has been prepared by electrochemical reduction of α,α,α′,α′-tetrabromo-p-xylene in dimethylformamide using tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate as the electrolyte salt. During electrochemical polymerization the position and relative intensities of the Raman bands change regularly as the chain length increases and finally converge on values reported for chemically prepared PPV. The Raman spectra for electrochemically polymerized PPV is compared to infrared-active vibration bands for electrochemically n-doped PPV. When the polymer undergoes redox reactions (doping-dedoping), shifts and broadening of Raman bands, compared to neutral PPV, are observed. Interpretation of the Raman spectra and the ESR results led to the conclusion that charge transfer in this system is mainly accomplished by polaron species formed upon doping of the polymer. The one-electron oxidations of a series of diiron(I) dithiolato carbonyls were examined to evaluate the factors that affect the oxidation state assignments, structures, and reactivity of these low-molecular weight models for the H ox state of the [FeFe]-hydrogenases. The propanedithiolates Fe 2(S 2C 3H 6)(CO) 3(L)(dppv) (L = CO, PMe 3, P i-Pr 3) oxidize at potentials approximately 180 mV milder than the related ethanedithiolates ( Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 6152). The steric clash between the central methylene of the propanedithiolate and the phosphine favors the rotated structure, which forms upon oxidation. Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectra for the mixed-valence cations indicate that the unpaired electron is localized on the Fe(CO)(dppv) center in both [Fe 2(S 2C 3H 6)(CO) 4(dppv)]BF 4 and [Fe 2(S 2C 3H 6)(CO) 3(PMe 3)(dppv)]BF 4, as seen previously for the ethanedithiolate [Fe 2(S 2C 2H 4)(CO) 3(PMe 3)(dppv)]BF 4. For [Fe 2(S 2C n H 2 n )(CO) 3(P i-Pr 3)(dppv)]BF 4; however, the spin is localized on the Fe(CO) 2(P i-Pr 3) center, although the Fe(CO)(dppv) site is rotated in the crystalline state. IR and EPR spectra, as well as redox potentials and density-functional theory (DFT) calculations, suggest that the Fe(CO) 2(P i-Pr 3) site is rotated in solution, driven by steric factors. Analysis of the DFT-computed partial atomic charges for the mixed-valence species shows that the Fe atom featuring a vacant apical coordination position is an electrophilic Fe(I) center. One-electron oxidation of [Fe 2(S 2C 2H 4)(CN)(CO) 3(dppv)] (-) resulted in 2e oxidation of 0.5 equiv to give the mu-cyano derivative [Fe (I) 2(S 2C 2H 4)(CO) 3(dppv)](mu-CN)[Fe (II) 2(S 2C 2H 4)(mu-CO)(CO) 2(CN)(dppv)], which was characterized spectroscopically.  相似文献

Two series of stable cyanide-bridged linkage isomers, namely [(o-O2C6Cl4)(Ph3P)(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)MnL(NO)(eta-C5Me5)] (XY = CN or NC, L = CNBu(t) or CNXyl) and [(o-O2C6Cl4)L(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)M(CO)(PhC-CPh)Tp'] {M = Mo or W, L = PPh3 or P(OPh)3, Tp' = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate} have been synthesised; pairs of isomers are distinguishable by IR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The molecular structure of [(o-O2C6Cl4)(Ph3P)(OC)2Ru(mu-NC)Mo(CO)(PhC-CPh)Tp'] has the catecholate-bound ruthenium atom cyanide-bridged to a Mo(CO)(PhC[triple band]CPh)Tp' unit in which the alkyne acts as a four-electron donor; the alignment of the alkyne relative to the Mo-CO vector suggests the fragment (CN)Ru(CO)2(PPh3)(o-O2C6Cl4) acts as a pi-acceptor ligand. The complexes [(o-O2C6Cl4)(Ph3P)(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)Mn(NO)L(eta-C5Me5)] undergo three sequential one-electron oxidation processes with the first and third assigned to oxidation of the ruthenium-bound o-O2C6Cl4 ligand; the second corresponds to oxidation of Mn(I) to Mn(n). The complexes [(o-O2C6Cl4)L(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)M(CO)(PhC[triple band]CPh)Tp'] are also first oxidised at the catecholate ligand; the second oxidation, and one-electron reduction, are based on the M(CO)(PhC[triple band]CPh)Tp' fragment. Chemical oxidation of [(o-O,C6Cl4)(Ph3P)(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)MnL(NO)(eta-C5Me5)] with [Fe(eta-C5H4COMe)(eta-C5H5)][BF4], or of [(o-O2C6Cl4)L(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)M(CO)(PhC[triple band]CPh)Tp'] with AgBF4, gave the paramagnetic monocations [(o-O2C6Cl4)(Ph3P)(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)MnL(NO)(eta-C5Me5)]+ and [(o-O2C6Cl4)L(OC)2Ru(mu-XY)M(CO)(PhC[triple band]CPh)Tp']+, the ESR spectra of which are consistent with ruthenium-bound semiquinone ligands. Linkage isomers are distinguishable by the magnitude of the 31P hyperfine coupling constant; complexes with N-bound Ru(o-O2C6Cl4) units also show small hyperfine coupling to the nitrogen atom of the cyanide bridge.  相似文献

A gas diffusion cell allowing ready access of reactant to the electrode through the thin electrolyte layer has been used to obtain in-situ infra-red spectra from adsorbed CO on Pt under conditions of sustained reaction.
