Yrast as well as non-yrast states of114Sn have been investigated via the100Mo(18O,4n) and the112Cd(,2n) reaction by means of in-beam-ray spectroscopy using the Compton-suppressed germanium detector array OSIRIS-Cube. A new rotational band including the band head with a tentative spin and parity assignment of 5 could be placed in the level scheme and might be a candidate for ag 9 2/–1 h11/2 intruder band.  相似文献

The reaction C C has been studied at 36 GeV/c. A clear signal for the decaya 2 (1320) · is observed in the mass spectrum. The measured ratio of branchings is BR (a 2 )/BR(a 2 );(3.4±0.8±0.5)·10–2.  相似文献

A new procedure is devised to evaluate the proton form-factor at the ¯pp threshold from experimental data on ¯ppe + e annihilation at rest. Comparison of the ¯ppe + e and¯pp + processes reveals that annihilation ranges for various channels are ranked in line with quark dynamics.This work has been funded in part by the German Federal Minister for Research and Technology (BMFT) under the contract number 06HD756  相似文献

We study the reaction +A + (A ) with the bound in the nucleus, as a means of producing deeply bound pionic states in nuclei, so far unobserved. The reaction is similar to the (n, p) reaction but, because of the , mass difference, it allows the reaction to occur with smaller momentum transfer, thus increasing the transition probability and reducing the effects of distortion. The ratios of signal to background are one to two orders of magnitude better than in the (n, p) reaction.We would like to thank C. Dover and G. Nuclear matrix elements for double positron emisson ( + +), positron emission/electron capture ( +/ EC) and double electron capture (EC/EC) in the 2 decay mode and for + + and +/EC decay in the 0 mode are calculated for the experimentally most promising isotopes58Ni,78Kr,96Ru,106Cd,124Xe,130Ba and136Ce within pn-QRPA. We point out that the matrix element for the 2 +/EC decay differs from the 2 + + matrix element, an effect not considered previously. For the neutrino accompanied decays our calculation predicts for the +/EC and the EC/EC mode half lives which are shorter typically by 4–7 orders of magnitude than those for the double positron emission. However, even for the best candidates typical values for 2 +/EC (2 EC/EC) are still in the range of 1022 ((some) 1021) years. For 0 decay we have calculated all matrix elements relevant for both, the mass mechanism and the right-handed currents for the first time complete. A detailed discussion of the differences between the 0 ++, the 0 +/EC and 0 decay is given.This work is supported in part by a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (05243204) from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Effective – luminosities are calculated for various realistic hadron collider scenarios. The main characteristics of photon-photon processes at relativistic heavy-ion colliders are established and compared to the corresponding –-luminosities ate +-e — and future photon linear colliders (PLC). Higher order corrections as well as inelastic processes are discussed. It is concluded that feasible high luminosity Ca–Ca collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are an interesting option for – physics up to about 100 GeV – CM energy.  相似文献

In an atomic beam experiment we measured the hyperfine structure (hfs) of the metastable states 3d 2 4s 4 F 3/2,9/2 of Scandium, which were populated by electron impact. A single mode cw dye laser was used to create a population difference between neighbouring hfs states by optical pumping. Rf transitions between these states, equalizing the population numbers, could then be detected by repeating the optical pumping experiment and looking for the laser induced fluorescent light. The following constants of the magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole interactions have been obtained by this method:A 3/2=–158.513(3)MHzB 3/2=–5.19(2)MHzA 9/2=285.967(9)MHzB 9/2=–15.46(70)MHzFrom these constants and the corresponding values forJ=5/2, 7/2, as measured by [1], the following parameters can be calculated: r –3 d 01 =0.911(4)a 0 –3 r –3 d 12 =2.395 (62)a 0 –3 and:=r –3 d 01 /r –3 d 12 =0.38(1).  相似文献

208Pb has been excited with inelastic heavy ion scattering of 350 MeV64Ni and 420 MeV82Se on a thick208Pb target. With - coincidence measurements 2 new decays of the 10+ isomer, namely a 34.5 keVE2-transition to 8 2 + and a 857.7 keVE3 transition to 7 have been found and the wavefunctions of the participating levels deduced. An observed gamma cascade of 295.3, 348.0, 865.4 and 340.2 keV on top of the 10+ isomer is assigned to the particle-hole states with the highest spins 14 6744.1 keV13 6448.9 keV12+ 6100.9 keV11+ 5235.6 keV10+ 4895.4 keV.This work has been supported in part through the agreement on scientific cooperation between Poland and Germany.  相似文献

The mechanism and kinetics of energy transfer from highly excited Xe states (E ex > 9.5 eV), generated by a 12-ns electron beam, to chlorine donor molecules were deduced from time-resolved spectra of fluorescence in the region 240–340 nm. The emissions at 240–250 nm were assigned to Xe2** excimers, and those at 308 and 340 nm to XeCl(B) and XeCl(C) states. Kinetic analysis of the recorded spectra for Xe–CCl4 and Xe–SOCl2 gas mixtures at constant xenon pressure and various pressures of molecular admixtures (0.1–1 Torr) allowed us to find the rate constants for the reactions (5) Xe** + RCI products, (6a) Xe** + RCl XeCl(B) + R*, and (6b) Xe** + RCl XeCl(C) + R*, where R is any radical.  相似文献

Contact interactions are searched for using the differential cross sections for the reactionse + e e + e ,e + e µ + µ ,e + e + ande + e measured at 12 energies around theZ peak and corresponding to about 20 pb–1 of cumulated luminosity. Four-fermion contact term models assuming various chiralities of lepton currents are fitted to the lepton data and lower limits on the energy scale of such terms are set at 95% c.l. The limits vary in the range 0.9–4.7 TeV, depending on the model and on the lepton flavour. Theee contact terms are searched for assuming various chiralities. Limits on the energy scale between 79 and 130 GeV are extracted from the data. The results are compared and combined with those reported at lower energies.Deceased  相似文献

In a high sensitivity (,2n) in-beam study of 62 144 Sm82, with the Kölner Würfel OSIRIS -detector array including a Compton polarimeter, we have identified the complete two-proton multiplets d 5 2/–2 , d 5 2/–1 g 7 2/–1 , g 7 2/–2 , h11/2d 5 2/–1 and the 9 to 4 members of the h11·/2g 7 2/–1 multiplet.Work partially supported by CICYT (Spain).  相似文献

The production of 0 system in p charge-exchange interactions at momenta 38 GeV/c and 100 GeV/c has been studied. The 2 and 0 0 decay modes of leading to 4 and 8 final states respectively have been detected. No statistically significant peak is observed in the 0 mass spectrum in the range of 1.2 GeV÷2.1 GeV. An upper limit of 6·10–3 has been established for thea 2 0 (1320) 0 branching ratio.  相似文献

New assignments of quantum numbers have been obtained for more than 50 levels in28Si between 8953 and 15915 keV excitation energy. They are based on the measurement of -ray angular distributions or anisotropies on 29 resonances of the27Al(p, ) reaction and on the24Mg(a, ) resonance atE =3355 keV. A total of 15 high-spin states withI=5–7 has been obtained and the spectrum ofT=1 states has been identified up to 15915 keV excitation energy and a maximum spinI=6.  相似文献

Recent data from deep inelastic scattering experiments atx10–2 are used to fix the parton distributions down tox10–4 andQ 20.3 GeV2. The predicted extrapolations are uniquely determined by the requirement of avalence-like structure ofall parton distributions at some low resolution scale and are furthermore shown to be insensitive in the small-x region, 10–4x10–2, to the detailed experimental input at the presently accessiblex>10–2. Simple parameterizations of the resulting parton distributions are presented in the range 10–5x<1 and=">Q 2108 GeV2 as obtained from the leading- and higher-order evolution equations.  相似文献

The -decays of 110Xe and 106Te were studied at the GSI on-line mass separator. By using the grow-in and decay of the activity, observed in pulsed-beam measurement, the half-life of 110Xe was found to be T1/2 = 105+35-25ms. The lifetime of 106Te was determined to be T1/2 = 70+20-10s by measuring the time between two successive 110Xe {106} Te {102} Sn -decays. The newly determined half-lives were used to calculate reduced -decay widths for 106Te and 110Xe. Universal systematics of reduced widths are proposed to search for the evidence of enhancement of the formation amplitude in the emitters above 100Sn.  相似文献

We show that photoproduction experiments provide propitious conditions to study the exotic state 1–+ in the and channels. For unpolarized photons contributions from natural and unnatural parity exchanges do not interfere with each other, a fact which permits to estimate the correctness of phase shift analyses. In photoproduction of the + system in the mass range ofa 2(1320) a more stringent limit on the product (1–+)Br(1–+) can be obtained than in experiments on Primakoff production on nuclei. Particularly favourable is the study of the state 1–+ in the coherent photoproduction of the 0 and 0 systems on nuclei, with significantly enlarged statistics and a simplified phase shift analysis.  相似文献

We present the results obtained from a series of +-coincidence measurements in heavy-ion collisions using the double-Orange-spectrometer at GSI. The collision systems U+U, U+Pb, and U+Ta were investigated at bombarding energies close to and slightly above (U+Ta) the Coulomb barrier. For all systems studied, very narrow (FWHM–20 keV) + lines were observed in the sum-energy spectra, with kinetic energies ranging from 555 keV to 810 keV, superimposed on a continuous distribution mainly due to uncorrelated + emission. Particularly in the U+Ta system, a pronounced sum-energy line appears at 634 keV, predominantly in deep-inelastic collisions. In some cases (e.g. U+Pb) the line characteristics is consistent with a two-body decay mode of an emitter which moves with the c.m. velocity of the colliding ions. However, other lines, and in particular the 634 keV line (U+Ta), exhibit a rather isotropical opening-angle distribution whereas their energy is unequally shared between positrons and electrons, thus being in clear disagreement with this scenario. In general, the data preclude an emission from the separated (moving) nuclei, and, in the latter cases, provide evidence that the e+e-pair decay occurs in the vicinity of the Coulomb field of a third heavy (positively charged) partner having only a small transverse velocity (|v|<>Dedicated to Prof. B. Low-spin states in doubly-odd184Au have been populated in the +/EC decay of184Hg produced by bombarding184Sm targets with an 185 MeV40Ar beam. Radioactive Hg nuclei were transported by a He jet system. A new level scheme has been established from --t and X--t coincidence measurements. Spin and parity values I=5+, I =2+ and I=3 were assigned to the ground state and the two isomeric states of184Au, respectively.
