The quaternary K(x)Sn(6-2x)Bi(2+x)Se(9) and KSn(5)Bi(5)Se(13) were discovered from reactions involving K(2)Se, Bi(2)Se(3), Sn, and Se. The single crystal structures reveal that K(x)Sn(6-2x)Bi(2+x)Se(9) is isostructural to the mineral heyrovskyite, Pb(6)Bi(2)S(9), crystallizing in the space group Cmcm with a = 4.2096(4) A, b = 14.006(1) A, and c = 32.451(3) A while KSn(5)Bi(5)Se(13) adopts a novel monoclinic structure type (C2/m, a = 13.879(4) A, b = 4.205(1) A, c = 23.363(6) A, beta = 99.012(4) degrees ). These compounds formally belong to the lillianite homologous series xPbS.Bi(2)S(3), whose characteristic is derivation of the structure by tropochemical cell-twinning on the (311) plane of the NaCl-type lattice with a mirror as twin operation. The structures of K(x)Sn(6-2x)Bi(2+x)Se(9) and KSn(5)Bi(5)Se(13) differ in the width of the NaCl-type slabs that form the three-dimensional arrangement. While cell-twinning of 7 octahedra wide slabs results in the heyrovskyite structure, 4 and 5 octahedra wide slabs alternate in the structure of KSn(5)Bi(5)Se(13). In both structures, the Bi and Sn atoms are extensively disordered over the metal sites. Some physicochemical properties of K(x)Sn(6-2x)Bi(2+x)Se(9) and KSn(5)Bi(5)Se(13) are reported.  相似文献

The potential of polar intermetallic compounds to catalyze hydrogenation reactions was evaluated. The novel compounds CaNi4Sn2, SrNi4Sn2, and Ca(0.5)Sr(0.5)Ni(4)Sn(2) were tested as unsupported alloys in the liquid-phase hydrogenation of citral. Depending on the reaction conditions, conversions of up to 21.0 % (253 K and 9.0 MPa hydrogen pressure) were reached. The binary compounds Ni3Sn and Ni3Sn2 were also tested in citral hydrogenation under the same conditions. These materials gave conversions of up to 37.5 %. The product mixtures contained mainly geraniol, nerol, citronellal, and citronellol. The isotypic stannides CaNi4Sn2, Ca(0.5)Sr(0.5)Ni4Sn2, and SrNi4Sn2 were obtained by melting mixtures of the elements in an arc-furnace under an argon atmosphere. Single crystals were synthesized in tantalum ampoules using special temperature modes. The novel structures were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. They crystallize in the tetragonal space group I4/mcm with parameters: a=7.6991(7), c=7.8150(8) A, wR2=0.034, 162 F(2) values, 14 variable parameters for CaNi4Sn2; a=7.7936(2), c=7.7816(3) A, wR2=0.052, 193 F(2) values, 15 variable parameters for Ca(0.5)Sr(0.5)Ni4Sn2; and a=7.8916(4), c=7.7485(5) A, wR2=0.071, 208 F(2) values, 14 variable parameters for SrNi4Sn2. The Ca(1-x)Sr(x)Ni(4)Sn(2) (x=0.0, 0.5, 1.0) structures can be represented as a stuffed variant of the CuAl2 type by the formal insertion of one-dimensional infinite Ni-cluster chains [Ni4] into the Ca(Sr)Sn2 substructure. The Ni and Sn atoms form a three-dimensional infinite [Ni4Sn2] network in which the Ca or Sr atoms fill distorted octagonal channels. The densities of states obtained from TB-LMTO-ASA calculations show metallic character for both compounds.  相似文献

The crystal structures of two hydrazinium-based germanium(IV) and tin(IV) selenide salts are determined. (N(2)H(5))(4)Ge(2)Se(6) (1) [I4(1)cd, a = 12.708(1) Angstroms, c = 21.955(2) Angstroms, Z = 8] and (N(2)H(4))(3)(N(2)H(5))(4)Sn(2)Se(6) (2) [P, a = 6.6475(6) Angstroms, b = 9.5474(9) Angstroms, c = 9.8830(10) Angstroms, alpha = 94.110(2) degrees, beta = 99.429(2) degrees, gamma = 104.141(2) degrees, Z = 1] each consist of anionic dimers of edge-sharing metal selenide tetrahedra, M(2)Se(6)(4-) (M = Ge or Sn), separated by hydrazinium cations and, for 2, additional neutral hydrazine molecules. Substantial hydrogen bonding exists among the hydrazine/hydrazinium molecules as well as between the hydrazinium cations and the selenide anions. Whereas the previously reported tin(IV) sulfide system, (N(2)H(5))(4)Sn(2)S(6), decomposes cleanly to microcrystalline SnS(2) when heated to 200 degrees C in an inert atmosphere, higher temperatures (>300 degrees C) are required to dissociate selenium from 1 and 2 for the analogous preparations of single-phase metal selenides. The metal chalcogenide salts are highly soluble in hydrazine, as well as in a variety of amines and DMSO, highlighting the potential usefulness of these compounds as precursors for the solution deposition of the corresponding metal chalcogenide films.  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION The ability of dialkyldithiocarbamate anion, -S2- CNR2 (dtc) ligand, to bind metal has been known for many years[1, 2]. It forms a chelate with virtually all transition elements and is proven to be a versatile chelating agent for the separation and extract of metals in analytical chemistry and mineral floa- ting[3~5]. Y(5)M(2)Te(2) (M = Fe, Co, Ni) have been prepared by high-temperature solid-state techniques and shown to be isostructural and orthorhombic Cmcm (No. 63), Z = 4. The structure was established by single crystal X-ray methods at 23 degrees C for M = Fe, with a = 3.9594(3) A, b = 15.057(1) A, and c = 15.216(1) A. The new structure contains zigzag chains of the late transition metal sheathed by a column of yttrium atoms that are in turn condensed through trans vertices on the latter to yield 2D bimetallic layers separated by single layers of tellurium atoms. Reaction of hydrogen with Y(5)Ni(2)Te(2) causes a rumpling of the Y-Ni layers as determined by both single X-ray crystal means at 23 degrees C and neutron powder diffraction at -259 degrees C for Y(5)Ni(2)Te(2)D(0.41(1)), Pnma (No. 62), Z = 4. Lattice constants from the former study are a = 14.3678(7) A, b = 4.0173(2) A, and c = 15.8787(7) A. The hydrogen is accommodated in tetrahedral yttrium cavities generated by bending the formerly flat sheets at the trans Y vertices. A higher hydride version also exists. Band structure calculations confirm the 2D metal-bonded character of the compounds and also help illustrate the bonding/matrix changes that accompany the bonding of hydrogen. The ternary structures for both Y(5)M(2)Te(2) and Sc(5)Ni(2)Te(2) can be derived from that of Gd(3)MnI(3), the group illustrating three different kinds of metal chain condensation.  相似文献

The self-assembly reactions of MIICl2 (M = Ni, Co) with the flexible bix ligand [bix = 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-ylmethyl)benzene] yielded a 2D network [NiII(bix)2Cl2]n 1 and a 1D chain [CoII(bix)Cl2]n 2. Their crystal structures have been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. Complex 1 characters a two-dimensional grid-type structure and crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 7.7231(7), b = 12.7787(9), c = 13.9374(13) , β = 105.419(4)o, C28H28Cl2N8Ni, Mr = 606.19, Ζ = 2, V = 1326.0(2) 3, Dc = 1.518 g/cm3, μ = 0.969 mm-1, F(000) = 628, R = 0.0429 and wR = 0.0783 for 2503 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). Compound 2 is a one-dimensional chain and crystallizes in orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 11.3696(6), b = 10.2128(6), c = 14.4943(9) , C14H14Cl2CoN4, Mr = 368.12, Z = 4, V = 1683.01(17) 3, Dc = 1.453 g/cm3, μ = 1.334 mm-1, F(000) = 748, R = 0.0317 and wR = 0.0800 for 1778 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). Magnetic properties of the title complexes were also investigated.  相似文献

Cyano-bridged homometallic complex [Ni(baepn)(CN)](n)(ClO(4))(n)(1) and bimetallic complex [Ni(baepn)](2)(n)[Fe(CN)(6)](n)(H(2)O)(8)(n)(2) [baepn = N,N'-bis(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine] were synthesized and characterized. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 9.560(3) A, b = 10.700(3) A, c = 14.138(9) A, beta = 90.18(6) degrees, and Z = 4; 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 8.951(2) A, b = 13.672(3) A, c = 14.392(3) A, beta = 98.906(4) degrees, and Z = 4. The complex 1 has one-dimensional structure whose chain vector runs along the b axis with baepn ligands and perchlorate anions alternately arranged up and down in the c direction. The antiferromagnetic nature of 1 was explained in terms of the infinite chain model and Haldane gap, giving g = 2.33, J = -29.4 cm(-1), and the magnitude of Haldane gap E(g) = 5.22 K. The complex 2 that constitutes the first example of 2-D bimetallic assembly of Ni(II) ion and ferrocyanide anion is composed of the neutral layers based on the [Ni(4)Fe(4)] square grid spanning in the bc plane. For 2, the analysis with the Curie-Weiss law in 2-300 K range results in THETA = 0.200 K and the magnetism was explained in terms of the ability of ferrocyanide in the -Ni-NC-Fe-CN-Ni unit to promote ferromagnetic Ni-Ni interaction.  相似文献

The compounds M2Ba2Sn6 (M = Yb, Ca) have been synthesized by solid-state reactions in welded Ta tubes at high temperature. Their structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies to be orthorhombic; space group Cmca (No. 64); Z = 8; a = 15.871(3), 15.912 (3) A; b = 9.387(2), 9.497(2) A; c = 17.212(3), 17.184(3) A; and V = 2564.3(9), 2597.0(9) A3, respectively. These contain infinite tin chains along constructed from butterflylike 3-bonded Sn tetramers interconnected by pairs of 2-bonded Sn. The chains are further interconnected into corrugated layers by somewhat longer Sn-Sn bonds along c. The compounds with the chains alone would be Zintl phases, but the interchain bonding makes them formally one-electron rich per formula unit. The electronic structures calculated by extended Hückel and TB-LMTO-ASA methods indicate that these compounds are metallic but with a deep pseudogap at the Fermi level. States that bind the extra electrons lie just below EF and involve important Yb(Ca)-Sn contributions. The origin of metallic Zintl phases is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The Mo(3)SnS(4)(6+) single cube is obtained by direct addition of Sn(2+) to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). UV-vis spectra of the product (0.13 mM) in 2.00 M HClO(4), Hpts, and HCl indicate a marked affinity of the Sn for Cl(-), with formation of the more strongly yellow [Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](3+) complex complete in as little as 0.050 M Cl(-). The X-ray crystal structure of (Me(2)NH(2))(6)[Mo(3)(SnCl(3))S(4)(NCS)(9)].0.5H(2)O has been determined and gives Mo-Mo (mean 2.730 ?) and Mo-Sn (mean 3.732 ?) distances, with a difference close to 1 ?. The red-purple double cube cation [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) is obtained by reacting Sn metal with [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). The double cube is also obtained in approximately 50% yield by BH(4)(-) reduction of a 1:1 mixture of [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+). Conversely two-electron oxidation of [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) or [Fe(H(2)O(6)](3+) gives the single cube [Mo(3)SnS(4)(H(2)O)(12)](6+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) (up to 70% yield), followed by further two-electron oxidation to [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) and Sn(IV). The kinetics of the first stages have been studied using the stopped-flow method and give rate laws first order in [Mo(6)SnS(8)(H(2)O)(18)](8+) and the Co(III) or Fe(III) oxidant. The oxidation with [Co(dipic)(2)](-) has no [H(+)] dependence, [H(+)] = 0.50-2.00 M. With Fe(III) as oxidant, reaction steps involving [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) and [Fe(H(2)O)(5)OH](2+) are implicated. At 25 degrees C and I = 2.00 M (Li(pts)) k(Co) is 14.9 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) and k(a) for the reaction of [Fe(H(2)O)(6)](3+) is 0.68 M(-)(1) s(-)(1) (both outer-sphere reactions). Reaction of Cu(2+) with the double but not the single cube is observed, yielding [Mo(3)CuS(4)(H(2)O)(10)](5+). A redox-controlled mechanism involving intermediate formation of Cu(+) and [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) accounts for the changes observed.  相似文献

The title compound has been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and FT-Raman spectra, and thermal analysis. The crystal and molecular structures of bis(N'-ethyl-N-piperazinly-carbodithioato-S,S') nickel(Ⅱ) complex (Ni(S2CNC4H8NC2H5)2) were determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The crystal crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 0.66770(15), b = 0.85066(12), c = 0.8973(2) nm, α = 84.97(2), β =78.71 (2), γ =80.12(2)°, Mr = 437.34, V = 0.49160(17) nm3, Z = 1, Dc = 1.477 g/cm3, F(000) = 230, R = 0.0422and wR = 0.1290. In the structure, the central Ni atom is coordinated in a slightly distorted square plane by four S atoms from two bidentate S2CNC4H8NC2H5 ligands with the four Ni-S bond distances in the range of 0.22065(10)~0.22076(9) nm. The IR and FT-Raman spectral data are in agreement with the structural data. Thermal analysis indicates that the title compound decomposes completely at the temperature of 799.88 ℃, leaving NiS.  相似文献

The complex [1-(4′-fluorobenzyl)pyridinium]2[Ni(dto)2] (dto2- means dithiooxalate dianion) has been pre-pared by reaction of Na2[Ni(S2C2O2)2] and the 1-(4′-fluorobenzyl)pyridinium chloride salt. The crystallographic data for the title complex: triclinic P1, a=8.5698(8)?, b=9.3461(9)?, c=10.5361(10)?, α=67.177(2)°, β=67.398(2)°, γ=79.611(2)°, V=717.59(12)?3, Z=1. The [Ni(dto)2]2- anion with the Ni atom lying on an inversion center and exhibits a quasi-planar structure. An extensive hydrogen bond network of C-H…O is clearly observed. The nature and size of cation seems to play an important factor in the type of intermolecular interactions as well as the crystal packing in this kind of complexes.  相似文献

A new molecular conductor (PyH)[Ni(dmit)2]2 (dmit = 4, 5-dimercapto-1, 3-dithiole-2-thione) has been prepared and its crystal structure has been determined. Crystallographic parameters for (PyH)[Ni(dmit)2]2: C17H6NNi2S20; triclinic system; P-1 space group; a = 5.9227 (4) , b =8.2279 (6), c = 16.7535 (9) A, a = 90.233 (5) , 0 = 92.107 (6) , y= 104.654 (6) ; V= 789.25 (9) A3; Z = 1; Dc = 2.068 g/cm3; F (000) = 491. The conductivity at one direction on (001) plane at room temperature was measured to be 0.13 ii^-cmf1. The resistivity-temperature curve in the temperature range of 90-290 K shows that this compound behaves as a semiconductor.  相似文献

A new Ni(Ⅱ) complex [Ni2(salen)2]·(NCS)·NH4 (salen = N,N'-bis(salicylidenea-mino)ethanato) has been prepared and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and single crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca with a = 16.8725(13), b = 19.0046(15), c = 20.0583(16) (A), Z = 8, V = 6431.8(9) (A)3, C33H32N6Ni2O4S1, Mr= 726.13, Dc = 1.500 g/cm3, F(000) = 3008, μ = 1.284 mm-1, the final R = 0.0394 and wR = 0.0767 for 4449 observed reflections with Ⅰ>2σ(Ⅰ). The complex involves a N,N'-ethylene-bis(salicylaldiminato) Schiff base, an isothiocyanato anion and an ammonium cation. The nickle(Ⅱ) ion adopts a distorted square coordination geometry with N2O2 set of Schiff base ligand. The complexes are linked into a dimmer via intermolecular hydrogen bonds and the [Ni(salen)] moieties are connected together to form a 2-D layer structure by intermolecular N-H…O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking. Cyclic-voltammetry method was used to characterize electrochemically the complex.  相似文献

A new electrical conductive crystal PyEt[Ni(dmit)2]2 (dmit=4,5-dimercapto-1,3-dithiole-2-thione) has been synthesized and its X-ray structure has been determined to be in monoclinic system, C2/c space group. In PyEt[Ni(dmit)2]2 crystal, the conducting component [Ni(dmit)2]0.5- is face-to-face packed forming molecular column along the c-direction, and these molecular columns are then side-by-side extended along the a-direction forming a kind of two-dimensional conducting sheet on (010). The measured conductivity at room temperature along a certain direction on (010) plane is 10 S .cm-1. From 282 to 269 K, the crystal shows metallic behavior but changes to semiconductor below 269 K. Based on the measured crystal structure and calculated band structure, this conductor-semiconductor phase transformation can be primarily interpreted: The metallic conductivity is corresponding to the uniform molecular column and the atomic-lattice-chain structure of Ni chain, while the semi-conductive behavior to staggered mo  相似文献

Thiocyanatonickel(II) and thiocyanatocobalt(II) complexes of the composition Ni(NCS)(2)(HIm)(2) (1) and Co(NCS)(2)(HIm)(2) (2), where HIm = imidazole, were prepared and studied. In particular, the crystal structure of Ni(NCS)(2)(HIm)(2) was determined by X-ray methods. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 7.720(1) A, b = 5.557(1) A, c = 13.774(3) A, beta = 102.54(3) degrees, and Z = 2. Its structure consists of a one-dimensional polymeric chain in which nickel(II) ions are bridged by two thiocyanate groups bonding in an end-to-end fashion in a trans arrangement. The Ni...Ni distance is 5.557(1) A. The crystal packing is determined by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds and ring-stacking interactions. From their X-ray powder-diffraction patterns and IR spectra, the complexes 1 and 2 were found to be mutually isomorphous. The coordination compounds were identified and characterized using elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, and infrared and ligand-field spectra. Both complexes are first examples of ferromagnetically coupled one-dimensional polymeric compounds with double end-to-end thiocyanate bridges. The magnetic properties of the title compounds were investigated over the 1.9-290 K temperature range. The compounds exhibit long-range magnetic ordering with T(c) equal to 5.0 and 5.5 K for 1 and 2, respectively. Their isothermal magnetization was also studied. The magnetostructural properties of the nickel(II) compound obtained are discussed and compared to those of other double end-to-end thiocyanate-bridged nickel(II) complexes.  相似文献

The new compounds Li(2-x)Na(x)Ni[PO(4)]F (x = 0.7, 1, and 2) have been synthesized by a solid state reaction route. Their crystal structures were determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. Li(1.3)Na(0.7)Ni[PO(4)]F crystallizes with the orthorhombic Li(2)Ni[PO(4)]F structure, space group Pnma, a = 10.7874(3), b = 6.2196(5), c = 11.1780(4) ? and Z = 8, LiNaNi[PO(4)]F crystallizes with a monoclinic pseudomerohedrally twinned structure, space group P2(1)/c, a = 6.772(4), b = 11.154(6), c = 5.021(3) ?, β = 90° and Z = 4, and Na(2)Ni[PO(4)]F crystallizes with a monoclinic twinned structure, space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.4581(8), b = 5.1991(3), c = 13.6978(16) ?, β = 120.58(1)° and Z = 8. For x = 0.7 and 1, the structures contain NiFO(3) chains made up of edge-sharing NiO(4)F(2) octahedra, whereas for x = 2 the chains are formed of dimer units (face-sharing octahedra) sharing corners. These chains are interlinked by PO(4) tetrahedra forming a 3D framework for x = 0.7 and different Ni[PO(4)]F layers for x = 1 and 2. A sodium/lithium disorder over three atomic positions is observed in Li(1.3)Na(0.7)Ni[PO(4)]F structure, whereas the alkali metal atoms are well ordered in between the layers in the LiNaNi[PO(4)]F and Na(2)Ni[PO(4)]F structures, which makes both compounds of great interest as potential positive electrodes for sodium cells.  相似文献
