A Dalitz plot analysis of the OZI rule violating decay D+
s into π-π+π+ is presented using different partial wave approaches. Scalar and vector waves are described by K-matrices; their production
is parameterized in a P-vector approach. Alternatively, Breit–Wigner amplitudes and Flatté parametrization are used. Special
emphasis is devoted to scalar mesons. The f0(980) resonance provides the most significant contribution. Adding f0(1500) to the scalar wave leads to an acceptable fit while introduction of f0(1370) and/or f0(1710) does not lead to significant improvements. A scan of the scalar wave optimizes for M=1452 ± 22 MeV/c
2. When f0(1710) is added, the mass uncertainty increases, and the fit yields M=1470 ± 60 MeV/c
2 which is fully compatible with the nominal f0(1500) mass. The scalar wave seems to exhibit a phase motion of 270° units in the mass range from 1200 to 1650 MeV/c
2.

The stability of the electromagnetic plasma confinement by powerful external s-polarized pump waves is considered. The parametric excitation of standing electromagnetic waves along the plasma boundary with frequencies close to the frequency of the pump wave leads to a periodic density modulation of the plasma boundary. The density disturbances along the direction of the external wave field are connected to the excitation of transverse p-polarized surface waves while the modulation in the direction perpendicular to the pump field are created by the parametric interaction between the external wave and s-polarized trapped leaking oscillations. Only when the leaking waves are excited the scale length of the modulation is larger than half the free space wave length of the incident radiation. 相似文献

Permalloy (Py) films were deposited on Si(111) or Corning 0211 glass substrates. There were two deposition temperatures: T
s=room temperature (RT) and T
s=270°C. The film thickness (t
f) ranges from 10 to 130 nm. The crystal structure properties of the films were studied by X-ray diffraction and transmission
electron microscopy. Mechanical properties (including Young’s modulus E
f and hardness H
f) of each film were measured by the nanoindentation (NI) technique. E
f of the Py/Si(111) films was checked again by the laser induced surface acoustic wave (LA-SAW) technique. It was found that
the NI technique is best suited for the measurements of E
f and H
f, but only when the sample belongs to the (soft film)/(soft substrate) system, such as the Py/glass film. For the (soft film)/(hard
substrate) system, such as the Py/Si(111) film, the NI technique often provides higher values of E
f and H
f than expected. The anomalous phenomenon, associated with the NI technique may be related to the anisotropic crystal structures
in the Py films on different kinds of substrates. From this study, we conclude that [E
f of Py/Si(111)]>[E
f of Py/glass] and [H
f of Py/Si(111)]>[H
f of Py/glass]. The good mechanical properties of the Py/Si(111) film make it a better candidate for recording head applications. 相似文献

The single-bubble sonoluminescence of d-f (Ce3+, Pr3+) and f-f (Tb3+) ions is detected in aqueous solutions of LnCl3. It has been shown that the luminescence of these ions is sonophotoluminescence, i.e., the reemission of the absorbed short-wavelength
part of the radiation spectrum of a blackbody, which appears in a bubble levitating in the field of a standing ultrasonic
wave, in the bulk of the solution. In view of the revealed inefficiency of reemission in GdCl3, the single-bubble sonoluminescence of Gd3+ has not been observed. The results indicate the low probability of the penetration of nonvolatile metal ions into the bubble
in the hot shell model, which would be valid in single-bubble sonolysis and thereby confirm the validity of the injected droplet
model, which explains the penetration to the bubble, electronic excitation, and luminescence of f-f ions Gd3+ and Tb3+ in multibubble sonolysis with an intensity much higher than the yield of their sonophotoluminescence. 相似文献

In a combined analysis of the experimental data on the coupled processes ππ↦ππ, KˉK in the channel with I
G
J
PC = 0+0+ +, the various scenarios of these reactions (with different numbers of resonances) are considered. In a model-independent approach,
based only on analyticity and unitarity, a resonance is represented by a pole cluster (poles on the Riemann surface) of the
definite type that is defined by the state nature. The best scenario contains the resonances f
0(665) (with properties of the σ-meson), f
0(980) (with a dominant sˉs component), f
0(1500) (with a dominant flavour-singlet, e.g., glueball component) and the f
0(1710) (with a considerable sˉs component). If the f
0(1370) exists, it has a dominant sˉs component. The coupling constants of the observed states with the considered channels and the ππ and KˉK scattering lengths are obtained. The conclusion on the linear realization of chiral symmetry is drawn.

Abstract The apparent substitutional fraction, fs , of Rh and Ir implanted into Al single crystals at 293 K with peak concentrations of 0.17±0.01 at.% is 0.57 ± 0.02 and 0.47±0.02, respectively. Upon annealing to 593 K fs decreases and the critical angles of the impurities narrow due to partially coherent precipitate formation. Irradiation with 300 keV Ar ions at 77 K with deposited energy densities up to 20 dpa leads to precipitate dissolution accompanied by an increase of fs up to 0.70±0.02 for Al(Rh) and 0.82±0.02 for Al(Ir). The relatively high fs values do not decrease during annealing from 77 K to 293 K, indicating that vacancy trapping is not a dominant process. Precipitate formation seems therefore to limit the maximum obtainable fs values during implantation at 293 K for these systems. 相似文献

The Hartree-Fock calculation on the one-dimensional electron gas is done on the basis of the method analogous to that applied by Bloch and Wigner and Seitz for the three-dimensional gas. The boundary conditions of the standing wave are taken for the wave function and the bare Coulomb interaction between electrons is assumed. The parameterr
s of the three-dimensional gas is replaced by the ratio between the cross-section radius and the length of the potential tube filled by the one-dimensional gas. Excepting for a special case of the excitement of an electron pair put on one electron level the excitation energies of the non-magnetic gas are found to be very much higher than these of the ferromagnetic gas. We present new theoretical calculations of nuclear fusion rates λ

from the resonant states of the muonic molecular ion 3Hedμ
++ with total angular momenta J=0,1. As a byproduct, new very accurate variational wave functions for these states have been obtained. Using these wave functions,
the probability density |Ψ(R=0)|2 in a fusion region has been calculated by extrapolating the variational solution to small internuclear distances by means
of the multi-channel adiabatic solution. Calculated fusion rates for the states J=0 and J=1 are: λ

s is the natural vortex shedding frequency of a stationary cylinder. Under these conditions the flow is essentially two dimensional.
A two-dimensional direct numerical simulation (DNS) scheme has been developed to calculate the flow. The DNS results display
a street of binary vortices, each containing two counter-rotating vortical structures, symmetrical about the centerline, which
is in excellent agreement with measurements. The drag and lift on the cylinder have been examined. The time averaged drag
and lift are 1.4 and 0, respectively, which are the same as those on a stationary cylinder at the sameRe. However, the fluctuating drag was high, about 2.68. It has been found that, being symmetrically formed about the centerline,
the binary vortices induce an essentially zero fluctuating lift, which may have a profound implication in flow control and

The speed of sound (u) has been obtained at a frequency of 8.3 MHz in {CH3CH2OCH2CH2OH + HOCH2CH2(OCH2CH2)nOH}for n = 0, 1, 2, and 3 over the whole composition range of studied binary liquid mixtures, at T = 298.15 K. The speed of sound values were combined with those of our previous results for densities and viscosities to obtain isentropic compressibility (κs), free volume (Vf), and intermolecular free length (Lf). From all these data excess isentropic compressibility (κsE), excess free volume (VfE) and excess intermolecular free length (LfE) as well as the deviations of the speed of sound (Δu) were obtained. Based on the beam coherent-polarization (BCP) matrix approach and propagation law of partially coherent beams, the focal shift and focal switch of partially polarized Gaussian Schell-model (PGSM) beams passing through a system with the aperture and spherically aberrated lens separated is studied in detail. Our main attention is focused on the effect of spherical aberration and partial coherence on the focal shift and focal switch of PGSM beams. It is shown that for polarizer-free case there is no focal switch of PGSM beams, the focal shift of PGSM beams is closely related with spherical aberration coefficient C4, auto-coherence length σa, truncation parameter δ and relative position s/f between the aperture and lens in general, and is independent of the cross-coherence length σc. After inserting a polarizer the focal switch can take place. Numerical calculation results are given to illustrate how the spherical aberration and partial coherence affect the focal shift and focal switch of PGSM beams. 相似文献

The leaving group abilities of pyridine, 4‐methylpyridine, and 4‐chloropyridine in SN1 solvolytic reactions have been determined by analyzing the rate constants of X,Y‐substituted benzhydrylpyridinium salts obtained in various solvents. By applying the linear free energy relationship equation, log k = sf (Ef + Nf), the nucleofuge specific parameters of 4‐substituted pyridine have been extracted. Because of solvation in the reactant ground state, the reactivity (nucleofugality, Nf) of a given pyridine decreases as the polarity of the solvent increases. High slope parameters (sf > 1) may be due to the spread of the energy levels of the benzhydrylium ion/pyridine pair intermediates in comparison to benzhydrylium ion/chloride pairs (sf ≈ 1). Because of slow heterolysis step of pyridinium salts in various solvents, some are stable under normal conditions. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献
