Two non-isospectral generalized nonlinear Schrodinger (ONLS) equations, which are two important models of nonlinear excitations of matter waves in Bose-Einstein condensates, are studied. Two novel transformations are constructed such that these two GNLS equations are transformed to the well-known nonlinear Schr6dinger (NLS) equation, which is an isospectral equation. Therefore, once one solution of the NLS equation is provided, we can immediately obtain one solution for two ONLS equations by these transformations. Thus it is unnecessary to solve these two non-isospectral GNLS equations directly. Soliton solutions and periodic solutions are obtained for them by two transformations from the corresponding solutions of the NLS equation, which are generated by Darboux transformation.  相似文献

The present work studies the inverse scattering transforms (IST) of the inhomogeneous fifth-order nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with zero boundary conditions (ZBCs) and nonzero boundary conditions (NZBCs). Firstly, the bound-state solitons of the inhomogeneous fifth-order NLS equation with ZBCs are derived by the residue theorem and the Laurent’s series for the first time. Then, by combining with the robust IST, the Riemann-Hilbert (RH) problem of the inhomogeneous fifth-order NLS equation with NZBCs is revealed. Furthermore, based on the resulting RH problem, some new rogue wave solutions of the inhomogeneous fifth-order NLS equation are found by the Darboux transformation. Finally, some corresponding graphs are given by selecting appropriate parameters to further analyze the unreported dynamic characteristics of the corresponding solutions.  相似文献

In this Letter, we discuss the electron acoustic (EA) waves in plasmas, which consist of nonthermal hot electrons featuring the Tsallis distribution, and obtain the corresponding governing equation, that is, a nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation. By means of Modulation Instability (MI) analysis of the EA waves, it is found that both electron acoustic solitary wave and rogue wave can exist in such plasmas. Basing on the Darboux transformation method, we derive the analytical expressions of nonlinear solutions of NLS equations, such as single/double solitary wave solutions and single/double rogue wave solutions. The existential regions and amplitude of solitary wave solutions and the rogue wave solutions are influenced by the nonextensive parameter q and nonthermal parameter α. Moreover, the interaction of solitary wave and how to postpone the excitation of rogue wave are also studied.  相似文献

An explicit N-fold Darboux transformation for evolution equations determined by general 2×2 AKNS system is constructed. By using the Darboux transformation, the solutions of the evolution equations are reduced to solving alinear algebraic system, from which a unified and explicit formulation of 2N-soliton solutions for the evolution equation are given. Furthermore, a reduction technique for MKdV equation is presented, and an N-fold Darboux transformation of MKdV hierarchy is constructed through the reduction technique. A Maple package which can entirely automatically output the exact N-soliton solutions of the MKdV equation is developed.  相似文献

By Taylor expansion of Darboux matrix, a new generalized Darboux transformations(DTs) for a(2 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS) equation is derived, which can be reduced to two(1 + 1)-dimensional equation:a modified KdV equation and an NLS equation. With the help of symbolic computation, some higher-order rational solutions and rogue wave(RW) solutions are constructed by its(1, N-1)-fold DTs according to determinants. From the dynamic behavior of these rogue waves discussed under some selected parameters, we find that the RWs and solitons are demonstrated some interesting structures including the triangle, pentagon, heptagon profiles, etc. Furthermore, we find that the wave structure can be changed from the higher-order RWs into higher-order rational solitons by modulating the main free parameter. These results may give an explanation and prediction for the corresponding dynamical phenomena in some physically relevant systems.  相似文献

In this paper, an explicit N-fold Darboux transformation with multi-parameters for both a (1+1)- dimensional Broer-Kaup (BK) equation and a (1+1)-dimensional high-order Broer-Kaup equation is constructed with the help of a gauge transformation of their spectral problems. By using the Darboux transformation and new basic solutions of the spectral problems, 2N-soliton solutions of the BK equation, the high-order BK equation, and the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation are obtained.  相似文献

We find that the sextic nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation admits breather‐to‐soliton transitions. With the Darboux transformation, analytic breather solutions with imaginary eigenvalues up to the second order are explicitly presented. The condition for breather‐to‐soliton transitions is explicitly presented and several examples of transitions are shown. Interestingly, we show that the sextic NLS equation admits not only the breather‐to‐bright‐soliton transitions but also the breather‐to‐dark‐soliton transitions. We also show the interactions between two solitons on the constant backgrounds, as well as between breather and soliton.  相似文献

A generalized Drinfel'd Sokolov-Wilson (DSW) equation and its Lax pair are proposed. A Daorboux transformation for the generalized DSW equation is constructed with the help of the gauge transformation between spectral problems, from which a Darboux transformation for the DSW equation is obtained through a reduction technique. In this letter, the two-singular-manifold method is applied to the (2+1)-dimensional nonisospectral Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation with two Painlevé expansion branches to determine auto-Bäcklund transformation, Lax pairs and Darboux transformation. Based on the two obtained Lax pairs, the binary Darboux transformation is constructed and then the Nth iterated transformation formula in the form of Grammian is also presented. We propose a reverse-space nonlocal nonlinear self-dual network equation under special symmetry reduction,which may have potential applications in electric circuits.Nonlocal infinitely many conservation laws are constructed based on its Lax pair.Nonlocal discrete generalized(m,N?m)-fold Darboux transformation is extended and applied to solve this system.As an application of the method,we obtain multi-soliton solutions in zero seed background via the nonlocal discrete N-fold Darboux transformation and rational solutions from nonzero-seed background via the nonlocal discrete generalized(1,N?1)-fold Darboux transformation,respectively.By using the asymptotic and graphic analysis,structures of one-,two-,three-and four-soliton solutions are shown and discussed graphically.We find that single component field in this nonlocal system displays unstable soliton structure whereas the combined potential terms exhibit stable soliton structures.It is shown that the soliton structures are quite different between discrete local and nonlocal systems.Results given in this paper may be helpful for understanding the electrical signals propagation.  相似文献

Using a quasideterminant Darboux matrix, we compute soliton solutions of a negative order AKNS (AKNS($-$1)) equation. Darboux transformation (DT) is defined on the solutions to the Lax pair and the AKNS($-$1) equation. By iterated DT to K-times, we obtain multisoliton solutions. It has been shown that multisoliton solutions can be expressed in terms of quasideterminants and shown to be related with the dressed solutions as obtained by dressing method.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the (1 + 1)-dimensional inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation, which describes propagation of optical waves in nonlinear optical systems exhibiting spatial inhomogeneity, inhomogeneous nonlinearity and gain or loss at the same time. Exact multi-soliton solutions are presented by the simple Darboux transformation based on the Lax Pair, and the exact one- and two-soliton solutions in explicit forms are also generated. In this paper, we studied N-soliton solutions of a new integrable equation studied by Qiao [J. Math. Phys. 48 082701 (2007)]. Firstly, we employed the Darboux matrix method to construct a Darboux transformation for the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation. Then we use the Darboux transformation and a transformation, introduced by Sakovich [J. Math. Phys. 52 023509 (2011)], to derive N-soliton solutions of the new integrable equation from the seed solution. A Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equation with a parabola external potential is considered, and is transformed into a standard nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation. By using the homogeneous balance principle and F-expansion method, we study non-autonomous wave solutions of the GP equation with a parabola external potential. In particular, based on the similarity transformation, several families of non-autonomous wave solutions of the GP equation are presented with snaking behaviors and different amplitude surfaces. These obtained bright-dark soliton solutions can give some potential applications in Bose-Einstein condensates.  相似文献
