Furuichi, Yanagi and Kuriyama gave three conjectures of trace inequalities on the Wigner-Yanase-Dyson skew information and a generalized Wigner-Yanase skew information (Furuichi et al. (2009) [1]) and Yanagi found a counterexample showing that two of the three conjectures don't hold (Yanagi (2010) [6]). In this note, we show that the last conjecture does not hold in general. In addition, we show that in the case of 2×2 matrices the conjecture is true.  相似文献

A family of inequalities, related to the uncertainty principle, has been recently proved by S. Luo, Z. Zhang, Q. Zhang, H. Kosaki, K. Yanagi, S. Furuichi and K. Kuriyama. We show that the inequalities have a geometric interpretation in terms of quantum Fisher information. Using this formulation one may naturally ask if this family of inequalities can be further extendend, for example to the RLD quantum Fisher information. We show that this is impossible by producing a family of counterexamples.  相似文献

Among concepts describing the information contents of quantum mechanical density operators, both the Wigner-Yanase skew information and the quantum Fisher information defined via symmetric logarithmic derivatives are natural generalizations of the classical Fisher information. We will establish a relationship between these two fundamental quantities and show that they are comparable.

For a monoid M, we introduce the concept of skew strongly M-reversible rings which is a generalization of strongly M-reversible rings, and investigate their properties. It is shown that if G is a finitely generated Abelian group, then G is torsion-free if and only if there exists a ring R with |R| ≥ 2 such that R is skew strongly G-reversible. Moreover, we prove that if R is a right Ore ring with classical right quotient ring Q, then R is skew strongly M-reversible if and only if Q is skew strongly M-reversible.  相似文献

A generalized skew‐Hermitian triangular splitting iteration method is presented for solving non‐Hermitian linear systems with strong skew‐Hermitian parts. We study the convergence of the generalized skew‐Hermitian triangular splitting iteration methods for non‐Hermitian positive definite linear systems, as well as spectrum distribution of the preconditioned matrix with respect to the preconditioner induced from the generalized skew‐Hermitian triangular splitting. Then the generalized skew‐Hermitian triangular splitting iteration method is applied to non‐Hermitian positive semidefinite saddle‐point linear systems, and we prove its convergence under suitable restrictions on the iteration parameters. By specially choosing the values of the iteration parameters, we obtain a few of the existing iteration methods in the literature. Numerical results show that the generalized skew‐Hermitian triangular splitting iteration methods are effective for solving non‐Hermitian saddle‐point linear systems with strong skew‐Hermitian parts. In this paper, we give two explicit examples of unbounded linear maximal monotone operators. The first unbounded linear maximal monotone operator S on ?2 is skew. We show its domain is a proper subset of the domain of its adjoint S, and −S is not maximal monotone. This gives a negative answer to a recent question posed by Svaiter. The second unbounded linear maximal monotone operator is the inverse Volterra operator T on L2[0,1]. We compare the domain of T with the domain of its adjoint T and show that the skew part of T admits two distinct linear maximal monotone skew extensions. These unbounded linear maximal monotone operators show that the constraint qualification for the maximality of the sum of maximal monotone operators cannot be significantly weakened, and they are simpler than the example given by Phelps-Simons. Interesting consequences on Fitzpatrick functions for sums of two maximal monotone operators are also given.  相似文献
