We show that the Libera operator, L, on some spaces of analytic functions is a continuous extension of the conjugate of the Cesàro operator. Results on L acting on various spaces are obtained. In particular, L maps the Bloch space into BMOA. We also prove some results on the best approximation by polynomials in Hardy and Bergman spaces.  相似文献

Building upon the ideas of R. Arens and J. Eells (1956) [1] we introduce the concept of spaces of Banach-space-valued molecules, whose duals can be naturally identified with spaces of operators between a metric space and a Banach space. On these spaces we define analogues of the tensor norms of Chevet (1969) [3] and Saphar (1970) [14], whose duals are spaces of Lipschitz p-summing operators. In particular, we identify the dual of the space of Lipschitz p-summing operators from a finite metric space to a Banach space — answering a question of J. Farmer and W.B. Johnson (2009) [6] — and use it to give a new characterization of the non-linear concept of Lipschitz p-summing operator between metric spaces in terms of linear operators between certain Banach spaces. More generally, we define analogues of the norms of J.T. Lapresté (1976) [11], whose duals are analogues of A. Pietsch?s (p,r,s)-summing operators (A. Pietsch, 1980 [12]). As a special case, we get a Lipschitz version of (q,p)-dominated operators.  相似文献

In this paper, our main aim is to introduce the concept of planar p-harmonic mappings and investigate the properties of these mappings. First, we discuss the p-harmonic Bloch mappings. Two estimates on the Bloch constant are obtained, which are generalizations of the main results in Colonna (1989) [9]. As a consequence of these investigations, we establish a Bloch and Landau's theorem for p-harmonic mappings.  相似文献

We characterize the p-approximation property (p-AP) introduced by Sinha and Karn [D.P. Sinha, A.K. Karn, Compact operators whose adjoints factor through subspaces of ?p, Studia Math. 150 (2002) 17-33] in terms of density of finite rank operators in the spaces of p-compact and of adjoints of p-summable operators. As application, the p-AP of dual Banach spaces is characterized via density of finite rank operators in the space of quasi-p-nuclear operators. This relates the p-AP to Saphar's approximation property APp. As another application, the p-AP is characterized via a trace condition, allowing to define the trace functional on certain subspaces of the space of nuclear operators.  相似文献

This paper proves that a necessary condition for a composition operator on the Bloch space of the unit disk to be bounded below given by Ghatage, Yan and Zheng is also sufficient. We consider a class of bounded linear operators on Hilbert space called n-hypercontractions which relates naturally to adjoint shift operators on certain vector-valued standard weighted Bergman spaces on the unit disc. In the context of n-hypercontractions in the class C0⋅ we introduce a counterpart to the so-called characteristic operator function for a contraction operator. This generalized characteristic operator function Wn,T is an operator-valued analytic function in the unit disc whose values are operators between two Hilbert spaces of defect type. Using an operator-valued function of the form Wn,T, we parametrize the wandering subspace for a general shift invariant subspace of the corresponding vector-valued standard weighted Bergman space. The operator-valued analytic function Wn,T is shown to act as a contractive multiplier from the Hardy space into the associated standard weighted Bergman space.  相似文献

We consider the generalized shift operator, associated with the Laplace-Bessel differential operator . The maximal operator Mγ (B-maximal operator) and the Riesz potential (B-Riesz potential), associated with the generalized shift operator are investigated. At first, we prove that the B-maximal operator Mγ is bounded from the B-Morrey space Lp,λ,γ to Lp,λ,γ for all 1<p<∞ and 0?λ<n+|γ|. We prove that the B-Riesz potential , 0<α<n+|γ| is bounded from the B-Morrey space Lp,λ,γ to Lq,λ,γ if and only if α/(n+|γ|−λ)=1/p−1/q, 1<p<(n+|γ|−λ)/α. Also we prove that the B-Riesz potential is bounded from the B-Morrey space L1,λ,γ to the weak B-Morrey space WLq,λ,γ if and only if α/(n+|γ|−λ)=1−1/q.  相似文献
