The poly(phenylsilsesquioxane) (PPSQ) particles were prepared with both basic and acidic catalyzed processes and the PP/PPSQ composites were prepared by melt blending method. Studies on PPSQ by Infrared (IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), 29Si cross polarized (CP) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy showed that the structure of PPSQ was ladder structure. The results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) confirmed that the prepared PPSQ particles were about 2 µm with narrow size distributions. The morphology and thermal stability of PP/PPSQ composites were characterized by SEM, XRD, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The SEM result showed that the particles were well dispersed in the PP matrix and the XRD revealed that the addition of PPSQ influences the crystallinity and crystal orientation of PP. The thermogravimetric analysis results of the PP/PPSQ composites indicated that the incorporation of PPSQ can improve the thermal stability of PP. The Flynn–Wall–Ozawa method was employed to analyze the TGA data and the kinetic results showed that the apparent activation energy for PP/PPSQ composites was much higher than that of neat PP, suggesting that the PPSQ influences the mechanisms of pyrolysis of PP. Poly(phenylsilsesquioxane) (PSQ) having tributylstannyl groups (TBPSQ) was prepared from phenyltrimethoxysilane and bis(tributyltin) oxide [(Bu3Sn)2O] under basic conditions. The procedure, using a catalytic amount of basic reagent such as triethylamine, sodium hydroxide, or aqueous ammonia, afforded yields of TBPSQ based on Si in the range of 12–45% at a number‐average molecular weight precipitated from ethanol of about 3500. In the other procedure, starting from PSQ with (Bu3Sn)2O, the incorporation of tributylstannyl groups into PSQ proceeded effectively in the presence of an acid catalyst such as methanesulfonic acid or sulfuric acid, giving TBPSQ in moderate yields of greater than 52%. Dibutyltin oxide, a bifunctional organotin compound, was also used, affording dibutylstannylated poly(phenylsilsesquioxane) (DBPSQ) without crosslinking. The highest ratio of Si and Sn contained in TBPSQ or DBPSQ, prepared under acidic conditions, was Si/Sn = 7/1. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 用4,4′-二氟代二苯甲酰与双酚A的溶液缩聚制得聚醚苯偶酰(PEB),经邻苯二胺改性后,通过两步法得到聚苯基醚喹噁啉(PEQ-1)。 在PEB的改性反应中加入质量分数分别为1.0%和1.3%的3,3′,4,4′-四胺基二苯醚,可有效增加聚苯基醚喹噁啉的相对分子质量,得到PEQ-2和PEQ-3(总收率≥90%),其质均相对分子质量分别为7.492×104和1.486×105。 并用IR、 NMR等对这些聚合物进行了表征。 该法操作简便,具有潜在的应用价值。  相似文献

Poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole)/poly(pyridobisimidazole) block copolymers (PBO-b-PIPD) were prepared by introducing poly(pyridobisimidazole) (PIPD) moieties into the main chains of poly(p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) (PBO) in order to enhance its photostability. PBO and copolymer fibers were directly prepared from the polymerization solutions by dry-jet wet-spinning. Chemical structures and molecular chains arrangement of the block copolymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, solid-state 13C-NMR and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). Thermal stability of the copolymers was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) in nitrogen. Thin films of PBO and copolymers were cast from methanesulfonic acid (MSA) solutions. Both the films and fibers were exposed to UV light to determine their photostability. Changes in the chemical structures and surface morphologies of the films were characterized by FTIR spectra and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), respectively. After UV light exposure, the retention of strength for copolymer fibers is improved compared to PBO fibers. The results revealed that copolymers suffered less photodegradation in comparison with homopolymer. The mechanism for the improved photostability of the copolymers was discussed.  相似文献

Novel poly(arylene ether)s, poly(arylene thioether)s, and poly(arylene sulfone)s were synthesized from the dihydroxy(imidoarylene) monomer 1 . The syntheses of poly(arylene ether)s were carried out in DMAc in the presence of anhydrous K2CO3 by a nucleophilic substitution reaction between the bisphenol and activated difluoro compounds. Poly(arylene thioether)s were synthesized according to the recently discovered one-pot polymerization reaction between a bis(N,N′-dimethyl-S-carbamate) and activated difluoro compounds in the presence of a mixture of Cs2CO3 and CaCO3. The bis(N,N′-dimethyl-S-carbamate) 3 was synthesized by the thermal rearrangement reaction of bis(N,N′-dimethylthiocarbamate) 2 , which was synthesized from 1 by a phase-transfer catalyzed reaction. The poly(arylene thioether)s were further oxidized to form poly(arylene sulfone)s, which would be very difficult, if not impossible, to synthesize by other methods. All of the polymers described have extremely high Tgs and thermal stability as determined from DSC and TGA analysis. 首次以高分子量的聚(L-乳酸-co-乙醇酸)(PLLGA)和D-聚乳酸(PDLA)[m(PLLGA) : m(PDLA)=3:1, c 50 mL·g-1]为原料,氯仿为溶剂,等体积的甲醇为沉淀剂,于50 ℃蒸发4 h形成了PLLGA和PDLA的立构复合物(sc-PLA),其结构和性能经XRD, DSC和TGA表征。结果表明:sc-PLA的结晶度达96.2%,热失重5%温度为342 ℃(PLLGA为304 ℃)。  相似文献

A series of multiblock poly(ether urethane)s comprising poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and poly(propylene glycol) (PPG) segments were synthesized. Their aqueous solutions exhibited thermogelling behavior at critical gelation concentrations (CGC) ranging from 8 to 12 wt%. The composition and structural information of the copolymers were studied by GPC and 1H NMR. The critical micellization concentration (CMC) and thermodynamic parameters for micelle formation were determined at different temperatures. The temperature response of the copolymer solutions were studied and found to be associated with the composition of the copolymers.  相似文献

A new cardo diamine monomer 3, 3‐bis‐[4‐{2′trifluoromethyl 4′‐(4″‐aminophenyl) phenoxy} phenyl]‐2‐phenyl‐2, 3‐dihydro‐isoindole‐1‐one ( 4 ) has been synthesized from potentially cheap phenolphthalein as the starting material. This diamine was used for the synthesis of a new poly(ether amide) and two co‐poly(ether amide)s using 4, 4′‐diaminodiphenyl ether (ODA) as co‐monomer by direct solution polycondensation with 5‐t‐butyl iso‐phthalic acid. These new polymers showed inherent viscosities of 0.48–0.62 dL g?1. The resulting poly(ether amide) and co‐poly(ether amide)s were readily soluble in polar aprotic solvents like NMP, DMF, DMAc, DMSO, and pyridine. The polymers have been fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, FTIR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. These polymers showed glass transition temperatures in the range of 267–310°C. Thermogravimetric analysis indicated high thermal stability of these polymers at 5 and 10% weight loss temperature in air above 357°C and 419°C, respectively. The poly(ether amide) films cast from DMAc were flexible with tensile strength up to 91 MPa, elongations at break up to 11%, and modulus of elasticity up to 1.82 GPa. 在不同溶剂中合成了一系列均苯二酐(PMDA)、联苯四酸二酐(BPDA)、二苯硫醚二酐(TDPA)、三苯二醚二酐(HQDPA)型和二苯醚二酐(ODPA)型聚酰胺酸(PAA),由PMDA和二氨基二苯甲烷(MDA)或3,3′-二甲基-4,4′-二氨基二苯甲烷(DMMDA)在N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)中合成的PAA在室温下呈凝胶态,而其它PAA在室温下均为透明溶液,考察了贮存湿温度、凝胶态、添加分子筛等条件对PAA贮存稳定性的影响,发现PAA凝胶的贮存稳定性优于PAA溶液,在PAA溶液中加入4A分子筛时,有利于其它贮存期的延长。  相似文献

L-丙氨酸与均苯四甲酸二酐经缩合反应制得手性酰亚胺(1);1与二苯基甲烷二异氰酸酯聚合制得新型的以L-丙氨酸为手性源的聚酰胺酰亚胺(2),其结构经1H NMR和FT-IR表征.用DSC和TGA研究了2的结晶性能和热稳定性,同时对2的溶解性能进行了探讨.结果表明,2的Tm为357.6℃,失重5%的分解温度为215℃;2在常温下溶于DMF,DMAc,DMSO和NMP.  相似文献

Poly(1,3-phenyl octanoate) (polyHPOA) was prepared by melt and solution polycondensation methods from 8-(3-hydroxyphenyl)octanoic acid (HPOA), a novel monomer useful as a chain disruptor in liquid crystalline copolyesters. The melt polycondensation technique gave a polyester of higher inherent viscosity (0.80 dL/g in p-chlorophenol) than that (0.75 and 0.56 dL/g, respectively, for the Ogata method and thionyl chloride/pyridine method in the same solvent) of solution techniques. The solubility of the polyesters was limited to strongly acidic and polar solvents. The polyester was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, WAXD, TGA, isothermal TGA and DTA. x-ray diffraction pattern of the polyesters indicated that it is amorphous in nature. TGA of the polyesters gave a thermal stability of 470°C in nitrogen atmosphere at 50% decomposition. The available thermal data suggest that the polyester undergoes thermal decomposition by a pyrolytic cleavage involving the ester linkage with the formation of ketene and phenol ended groups as intermediates. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A new aromatic diacylhydrazide monomer viz., 4-[4′-(hydrazinocarbonyl)phenoxy]-2- pentadecylbenzohydrazide was synthesized starting from cardanol, which in turn is obtainable from cashew nut shell liquid - a renewable resource material. A series of new poly(amideimide)s containing flexibilizing ether linkages and pendant pentadecyl chains was synthesized from 4-[4′-(hydrazinocarbonyl)phenoxy]-2-pentadecylbenzohydrazide and commercially available aromatic dianhydrides, viz., benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylic dianhydride, 3,3′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride, benzophenone-3,3′,4,4′-tetracarboxylic dianhydride, 4,4′-oxydiphthalic anhydride and 4,4′-(hexafluoro isopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride by a two-step solution polycondensation in N,N-dimethylacetamide via the poly(hydrazide acid) intermediate. Inherent viscosities of poly(amideimide)s were in the range 0.60-0.64 dL/g in N,N-dimethylacetamide at 30 ± 0.1 °C. Poly(amideimide)s could be solution cast into tough, transparent and flexible films from their N,N-dimethylacetamide solutions. The solubility of poly(amideimide)s was significantly improved by incorporation of pendant pentadecyl chains and were found to be soluble in N,N-dimethylacetamide, 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, pyridine and m-cresol at room temperature or upon heating. Wide angle X-ray diffraction patterns of poly(amideimide)s revealed a broad halo at around 2θ = ∼19° suggesting that polymers were amorphous in nature. In the small-angle region, diffuse to sharp reflections of a typically layered structure resulting from the packing of pentadecyl side chains were observed. The temperature at 10% weight loss (T10), determined by TGA in nitrogen atmosphere, of poly(amideimide)s was in the range of 388-410 °C indicating their good thermal stability. Glass transition temperatures of poly(amideimide)s were in the range 162-198 °C. It was observed that the plasticization effect of attached pentadecyl side chains induced the depression of Tg.  相似文献

The oxidative and non-oxidative degradation of poly(di-methoxy-), poly(di-ethoxy-), poly(di-iso-propoxy-) and poly(di-n-butoxyethyl itaconate) were investigated by thermogravimetry. Characteristic degradation temperatures and apparent activation energies of degradation were determined for the non-oxidative degradation of all the investigated polymers. It was not possible to determine these characteristics in the presence of oxygen as the degradation was accompanied by a secondary exothermic reaction. Based on examination of the monomers, it is supposed that the exothermic reaction is a repolymerisation of the monomers released during the earlier stages of polymer degradation.  相似文献

Poly[3,4-bis(3-methylbutylthio)thienylenevinylene], poly[3,4-bis-(S)-(2-methylbutylthio)thienylenevinylene], poly[3′,4′-bis(3-methylbutylthio)-2,2′:5′,2″-terthienylene-5,5″-vinylene], and poly{3′,4′-bis-(S)-[2-methylbutylthio]-2,2′:5′,2″-terthienylene-5,5″-vinylene} have been synthesized. The synthesis starts from the thiophene monomers and trimers, which are formylated to give the corresponding dialdehydes. The dialdehydes are reductively polymerized using a McMurry coupling. The polymers are characterized by GPC, optical spectroscopy (FT-IR, UV-vis, circular dichroism spectroscopy and photoluminescence) and by proton and carbon NMR spectroscopy. The polymers are soluble in common organic solvents, such as THF, chloroform, toluene, benzene and 1,2-dichlorobenzene. The solvatochromism and thermochromism of the polymers in solution are investigated, while the optical activity of the polymers is used to investigate the supramolecular aggregation. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. New thioether- and thianthrene-containing poly(benzoxazole)s (PBOs) were synthesized from 4,4′-thiobis[3-chlorobenzoic acid] and thianthrene-2,7- and -2,8-dicarbonyl chlorides with commercially available bis-o-aminophenols. Polymers were prepared via solution polycondensation in poly(phosphoric acid) at 90–200°C. Transparent PBO films were cast directly from polymerization mixtures or m-cresol. The films were flexible and tough. Non-fluorinated PBOs were soluble only in strong acids and AlCl3/NO2R systems by forming complexes with the benzoxazole heterocycle Glass transition temperatures ranged from 298–450°C, and thermogravimetric analysis showed good thermal stabilities in both air and nitrogen atmospheres. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A series of poly(siloxane-arylacetylene)s with o-carborane in the backbone (CB-PSOA)s were prepared by the coupling reaction between poly(siloxane-arylacetylene) (PSOA) and decaborane (B10H14) in the presence of CH3CN. CB-PSOAs were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and Pyrolysis–gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (Py–GC–MS). The results show that the average amount of carborane units in a CB-PSOA chain could be raised when the molar ratio of B10H14 to PSOA is increased from 0.6 to 2.4. The crosslinking reaction could be carried on at above 140°C for CB-PSOAs. The CB-PSOA thermosets show excellent thermo oxidative stability with over 85% residue yield at 1000°C in air.  相似文献

Summary: The reaction of hydrazine with ethyl glycolate results in 1,2‐bisglycoylhydrazine, a monomer that was used for the lipase‐catalyzed synthesis of biodegradable poly(ester hydrazide)s. The polymers derived from the hydrazide‐containing monomer and vinyl‐activated adipic, suberic, and sebacic acid, respectively, showed low melting temperatures of 136 to 141 °C and are thermally stable up to 300 °C. The aliphatic poly(ester hydrazide)s (PEHs) are highly crystalline, as proven by polarization microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Further, the PEHs represent the first described biodegradable poly(hydrazide)s. They degrade in the presence of lipase at 37 °C within a few weeks.

A general method for the preparation of poly(aryl ether amide)s has been developed where the generation of an aryl ether linkage is the polymer-forming reaction. The amide linkage was found to be sufficiently electron-withdrawing to activate halo-substituents towards nucleophilic aromatic substitution analogous to conventional activating groups (i.e., sulfone, ketone, etc.). Model reactions demonstrated that the amide-activated displacement occurred with high selectivity in near quantitative yield and was judged suitable as a polymer-forming reaction. Appropriately fluoro-substituted amides were prepared and subjected to displacement polymerization with bisphenoxides in a N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)/N-cyclohexyl-2-pyrrolidone (CHP) solvent mixture. High molecular weight polymers with glass transition temperatures in the 200–225°C range were obtained. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
