A comparative calorimetric method for measuring the acoustic power generated by a sound source under cavitation conditions and the power absorbed by a liquid with bubbles is developed. The conditions under which the whole of the generated power is absorbed by the liquid with bubbles are determined experimentally. An instrument for power calibration of sound sources operating under cavitation conditions is designed. The instrument is found to provide a high measurement accuracy (3% or better). The requirements on the dimensions of the vessel and on the volume of the liquid in which the sound source operates are formulated to make the power generated under cavitation conditions independent of these parameters. For the first time, it is shown experimentally (by the example of the reaction of nitric oxide formation under the action of sound) that, if these conditions are satisfied and the sound intensity exceeds the threshold intensity, the rate of a number of sonochemical reactions is proportional to the sound intensity in the range from 1.7 to at least 47 W/cm2. It is shown that the dependence of the rate of cavitation processes on the sound intensity with a maximum at 8.6 W/cm2 and a sharp decrease in the rate with a further intensity increase is determined by the fact that the measured quantity was the electric power at the transducer rather than the acoustic one.  相似文献

In order to design a sonochemical reactor with high reaction efficiency, it is important to clarify the size and intensity of the sonochemical reaction field. In this study, the reaction field in a sonochemical reactor is estimated from the distribution of pressure above the threshold for cavitation. The quantitation of hydroxide radical in a sonochemical reactor is obtained from the calculation of bubble dynamics and reaction equations. The distribution of the reaction field of the numerical simulation is consistent with that of the sonochemical luminescence. The sound absorption coefficient of liquid in the sonochemical reactor is much larger than that attributed to classical contributions which are heat conduction and shear viscosity. Under the dual irradiation, the reaction field becomes extensive and intensive because the acoustic pressure amplitude is intensified by the interference of two ultrasonic waves.  相似文献

Using numerical simulation, an analysis was conducted of the interference structure of a bottomscattered sound field generated by a wideband point source in shallow water under winter and summer conditions. The scattered signals were received from the place where the source was located and were subjected to Fourier transform with a sliding window. The paper demonstrates the possibility of estimating the waveguide invariant for backscattered signals when processing the sound intensity distributions in wide frequency and distance ranges up to the scattering area. A technique is proposed for reconstructing the twodimensional field of internal waves using variations of the interference pattern of reverberation signals. The influence of wind surface waves on the degree of interference band contrast is illustrated.  相似文献

Methods of measuring the sound field and focal region of a 1.05 MHz high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) are described in this paper. 1.05 MHz pulsed HIFU with intensity 2400 W/cm(2) with a 1:1 duty cycle ("on" phase equaled "off" phase) was used to irradiate terephthalic acid (TA). Pulse periods of 0.5 ms, 1 ms, 3.3 ms, 10 ms, 15 ms, 33 ms, 0.1s and 1s were used. The irradiation time was 2 min. To indicate the intensity of inertial cavitation activity, the fluorescence intensity of hydroxyterephthalic acid (HTA) was measured. The result shows that the cavitation activity of pulsed HIFU peaks at a pulse period of 10 ms, cavitation activity is significantly greater for pulse periods from 2 to 20 ms than for others.  相似文献

The traditional Chinese theatre was often built with a courtyard. In such open-top space, the absence of a roof would mean little reverberation and non-diffused sound field. Acoustically the situation is quite different from that of any enclosed space. Therefore, the classic room acoustics, such as Sabine reverberation formula, would no longer be applicable due to the lack of sound reflections from the ceiling. As the parameter of reverberation time T30 shows the decay rate only, it would not properly characterize the prominent change in the fine structure of the echogram, particularly in case of a large reduction of reflections during the decay process. The sense of reverbrance in a courtyard space would differ noticeably from that of the equivalent 3D-T30 in an enclosed space. Based upon the characteristic analysis of the sound field in an open-top space, this paper presents a preliminary study on the acoustics of the courtyard theatres.  相似文献

The effect known as "weak Anderson localization," "coherent backscattering," or "enhanced back-scattering" is a physical phenomenon that occurs in random systems, e.g., disordered media and linear wave systems, including reverberation rooms: The mean square response is increased at the drive point. In a reverberation room, this means that one can expect an increase of the reverberant sound field at the position of the source that generates the sound field. This affects the sound power output of the source and is therefore of practical concern. The relative increase of reverberant energy is described by the concentration factor, which is usually assumed to be 2. However, because of the stronger direct sound field at the source position, it is obviously very difficult to measure this quantity directly under steady-state conditions. A related parameter of crucial importance for the ensemble statistics of responses in rooms is the modal kurtosis, which is usually assumed to be 3. The modal kurtosis is also very difficult to measure directly. This paper presents the results of an indirect experimental estimation of the two parameters.  相似文献

Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of cyclohexanone to epsilon-caprolactone was studied in a new type reactor--the airlift loop sonochemical reactor. The reactor plays a synergistic effect of sonochemsity and higher oxygen transfer rate. The influences of ultrasound intensity, reaction temperature, the molar ratio of benzaldehyde to cyclohexanone and oxygen gas flow rate on the conversion and selectivity of cyclohexanone were investigated and discussed. Under ultrasound, the amount of benzaldehyde can be reduced from 75% to 67%. Ultrasound not only intensified the rates of reactions but also increased the yield of product. The optimized operation conditions are listed as follows: the reaction temperature is 30 degrees C, the molar ratio of cyclohexanone to benzaldehyde is 1:2, the oxygen gas flow rate is 1.15 cm s(-1), and ultrasonic irradiations 2h at 40 kHz, 2.25 W cm(-2). Under the optimum operation conditions, the average molar yield of epsilon-caprolactone comes up to 87.7%.  相似文献

提出一种从低频混响信号中提取简正波衰减系数的方法。利用简正波过滤技术对垂直阵混响信号进行分析,获得单阶简正波混响声场。假设海底反向散射矩阵可分离,从单阶简正波平均混响强度中提取出有效海底反向散射矩阵元素,最后利用不同距离上的有效海底反向散射矩阵元素计算出简正波的衰减系数。利用该方法从混响信号中提取出的简正波衰减系数预报的声传播损失和相同海域实测声传播损失一致。该简正波衰减系数提取方法有效避免了海底散射衰减和简正波传播衰减耦合的问题,同时对海底参数反演和水声环境的快速评估也具有重要的意义。   相似文献

We demonstrate enhancement by 1 order of magnitude of the high-order harmonics generated in argon by combining a fundamental field at 1300 nm (10(14) W cm(-2)) and its orthogonally polarized second harmonic at 650 nm (2 × 10(13) W cm(-2)) and by controlling the relative phase between them. This extends earlier work by ensuring that the main effect is the combined field steering the electron trajectory with negligible contribution from multiphoton effects compared to the previous schemes with 800/400 nm fields. We access a broad energy range of harmonics (from 20 eV to 80 eV) at a low laser intensity (far below the ionization saturation limit) and observe deep modulation of the harmonic yield with a period of π in the relative phase. Strong field theoretical analysis reveals that this is principally due to the steering of the recolliding electron wave packet by the two-color field. Our modeling also shows that the atto chirp can be controlled, leading to production of shorter pulses.  相似文献

声像距离是声像位置的重要信息,为了完整地描述重建声场中感知声像位置,需在虚拟声场中重建出声像距离。本文基于人耳对距离的感知机理,将镜像法引入波场合成技术中,通过模拟反射声来控制感知声像距离。基于"比较判断律"的主观测听实验表明:通过模拟房间反射声受试者更明显地感受到声像距离的变化,并且变化规律与人耳对距离的感知机理相符合。因此在基于波场合成的声重放系统中,通过模拟反射声和有效地控制反射声能量可以准确地重建出声像距离。   相似文献

研究了温度对聚合物poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole)(F8BT)和poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)共混薄膜的放大自发辐射(ASE)的影响。在80~320 K温度范围测试了不同P3HT质量比的共混聚合物薄膜和纯F8BT薄膜的ASE特性。在室温条件下,共混聚合物的阈值随着P3HT所占比例的增加先降低后升高。当P3HT比例约为20%时,阈值最低约为2.59×10~3W/cm~2。当温度从320 K下降到80 K时,纯F8BT薄膜的ASE阈值光功率由5.36×10~3W/cm~2下降到4.15×10~3W/cm~2,P3HT质量比为20%的共混薄膜的ASE阈值光功率由2.84×10~3W/cm~2下降到2.03×10~3W/cm~2。在一特定泵浦光功率(5.29×10~3W/cm~2)下,当温度由320 K下降至80 K时,ASE强度约提高4倍。随着温度的降低,混合物薄膜的ASE峰位红移,移动达12 nm。  相似文献

Sound strength and reverberation time measurements have been carried out in six small concert halls in Cambridge, UK. The sound strength G is a measure of the physical sound level in a concert hall and is closely related to the subjective sensation of loudness. It compares integrated impulse responses at a point in the measured room with that measured at ten metres distance in the free field.The aim of the measurements is to investigate the acoustic characteristics of the halls concerning sound strength and reverberation time. Furthermore the effect of the variable acoustics in the halls on these parameters is discussed in this paper. Especially for bigger ensembles it is often desirable to reduce the sound level in a small concert hall. The measurement results show that for a fixed hall volume, this can primarily be achieved by decreasing the reverberation time in the hall. However, with regard to the sound quality of a hall and the recommended reverberation times for chamber music, reverberation time cannot be reduced by an arbitrary extent. Therefore reverberation time and strength have to be balanced very carefully in order to obtain sufficient reverberation whilst at the same time avoiding excessive loudness. Finally the measured strength levels are compared to values derived from traditional and revised theory [Barron M, Lee L-J. Energy relations in concert auditoriums. J Acoust Soc Am 1988;84(2):618-28] on strength calculations in order to assess the accuracy of the theory for small chamber music halls. Possible reasons for the low measured strength levels observed are discussed with reference to related design features and objective acoustic parameters.  相似文献

The discrepancy between reverberation times of an enclosed sound field measured by the steady-state method and by the transient decay method is well-known. So far, no clear explanation has been obtained. In this paper, the steady-state bandlimited energy in an enclosure and bandlimited power flow into modally reactive boundaries are derived to describe the energy balance relationship and thus the reverberation time in a frequency band. This reverberation time is then compared to that obtained from the transient decay of the sound field based on the modal analysis. The comparison provides an understanding of the discrepancy mentioned above as well as the physical interpretations of the reverberation times estimated by both methods.  相似文献

为解决均匀场与混响室内辐射敏感度测试结果相关性较差的问题,利用统计学理论对混响室内场强直角分量及天线接收功率的统计特性进行分析,理论推导出基于受试设备干扰概率的混响室条件下临界辐射干扰场强计算模型。为验证该模型的正确性,以ETS 3142E型天线为受试设备分别在混响室及均匀场中进行临界辐射干扰场强测试,实验结果表明,利用该计算模型得出的临界辐射干扰场强值与均匀场测试结果吻合良好,平均相对误差可控制在2 dB以内,可将该模型应用于实际辐射敏感度测试。  相似文献

针对混响环境中,多径效应、散射、衍射等原因导致声源定位失败或分辨能力不足的现象,提出一种基于主导声源检测MUSIC群时延的邻近多声源定位方法。该方法采用球形传声器阵列,相比平面阵列可以捕获3D声场信息,利用球谐域下信号的频率分量与角度分量解耦的优势,从而可直接利用频率平滑技术处理宽带语声信号而不需要构造聚焦矩阵,并在球谐域下通过设置阈值对一组时频段进行主导声源检测,从而选择出包含直达声的一组时频块来构造MUSIC群时延空间谱。上述举措在提升波达方向估计在高混响环境下定位鲁棒性的同时,也提高了多个邻近声源的分辨能力。仿真实验结果表明,所提出的主导声源检测MUSIC群时延算法,在高混响和低信噪比条件下,仍具有更好的定位精度与更优的邻近多声源分辨效果。  相似文献

Underwater reverberation environments that satisfy the conditions of uniformity and isotropy of the diffuse field can be used to measure the acoustic characteristics of underwater targets. This study combines two practical indicators — the standard deviation of the absolute sound pressure field (to indicate uniformity) and the analysis of the wavenumber spectrum in the spherical harmonics domain (to indicate isotropy) — for an accurate evaluation of the diffusion of the sound field in a reverberation tank. A method is proposed that can improve the narrow-band diffusion of the sound field by employing a randomly fluctuating surface. An acoustic experiment was performed in a reverberation water tank (1.2 m×1 m×0.8 m), where a randomly fluctuating surface was generated by making waves. The experimental results show that as the wave motion contributes effectively to the random reflection of sound rays in all directions, the uniformity and isotropy are improved significantly when the surface is fluctuating randomly. This work helps to ensure accurate measurements of the characteristics of underwater targets in reverberation tanks.  相似文献

A scheme for artificially collimating fast-electron beams produced in high intensity (>10(19) W cm(-2)) laser-solid interactions is proposed. The scheme uses a laser pulse at the relativistic threshold (approximately 10(18) W cm(-2)) that precedes the high intensity pulse to pregenerate a collimating magnetic field. This concept is supported by analytical calculations and numerical calculations performed using a novel hybrid-Vlasov-Fokker-Planck code called LEDA. This scheme may be highly useful for fast ignition inertial confinement fusion.  相似文献
