The class compositions of the lipids of leaf vegetables —Spinacea oleracea (variety Ispolinskii),Latuca sativa (variety Kucheryavets Odesskii), andRumex acetosa (variety Odesskii-17) have been studied. The compositions of their NLs (17 groups of individual compounds were identified), GLs (nine groups of compounds were found), and PhLs (seven groups of compounds have been found) have been determined by physicochemical methods of analysis. The maximum amount of the total lipids and also of the PhLs was possessed by the spinach. Among the FAs of the leaf vegetables, USFAs predominated.M. V. A new affinity sorbent has been synthesized — soybean trypsin inhibitor (STI)-amylopectin-hydrazidosuccinyl-Sepharose — and its properties have been studied in comparison with those of an analogous adsorbent without the spacer STI-Sepharose. The complete spatial structure of 20S,24S-dihydroxydammar-25-en-3-one — a triterpenoid isolated from the leaves of a Far-Eastern species of birch,Betula mandschurica — has been established. The interaction of the sage, mint, apple, and ginseng pectins, isolated from tissue culture wastes and purified with copper, mercury, zinc, and cadmium salts, has been studied by the amperometric method with two metal indicator electrodes. The optimum conditions of titration have been determined: pH 3.5–5.0; concentration of pectin substances 5·10–5-1·10–3 g/ml of solution. It has been established by graphical and mathematical methods that the interaction is accompanied by the formation of compounds with a ratio of the carboxy groups of pectins to the metal cation of two. The composition and amounts of the various groups of liposoluble compounds in the rind and flesh of persimmon fruit of the varieties Hachiya and Hyakume have been established by a combination of chromatographic and chemical methods. The identity of the qualitative composition of the lipids of the flesh and rind of the fruit and quantitative differences in the amounts of individual groups have been found. A total of 24 groups of compounds were identified, the main ones of which were monogalactosyldiglycerides, carotenoids, diacylglycerols, ceramide oligosides, digalactosyldiglycerides, phosphatidylglycerols; phosphatidylcholines, and free and glycosylated sterols. In the fatty acid composition of the lipids unsaturated fatty acids — linolenic, oleic, linoleic, and palmitoleic — predominated (>70%).M. V. The presence of bioregulators of animal organisms — dolichols — has been established in the needles, needle-free shoots, and bark of the Siberian stone pine. Summary 1. It has been shown that polypeptide antibiotics — bacitracin and gramicidin S — inhibit carboxylic proteinases — porcine and equine pepsins. Bacitracin inhibits pepsin with KI=2.3 mM, and gramicidin S with KI2 mM.2. The dissociation and the structure at the isomeric [M — HCN]+ and [M — 2HCN]+ ions, formed during the fragmentation of naphthiridines and benzazines, were investigated by the collisionally activated dissociation (CAD) method. It was established that the stable [M — HCN]+ ions of 1,5- and 1,8-naphthiridines, 1,6-naphthiridine, quinoxaline, and quinazoline have different structures. A hypothesis concerning the formation of associates between intermediate complexes and cations has been introduced in order to account for the experimental dependence of the rate constant of the oxidation of phosphine by Cu(II) halides on the nature of the cation in the salt MCl2 (M = Mn, Co, Ni). The quantum-chemical characteristics of the systems formed have been calculated by the Mulliken—Wolfsberg—Helmholz-SCCC method.
