Syntheses of trans-1,2-di-tert-butylpyrazolidine 1, d,l- and semi-meso-1,2-diisopropyl-3,5-dimethylpyrazolidines, 2a and 2b, respectively, have been developed. Activation parameters of the nitrogen inversion in 1G = 123 kJ mol−1 at 110 °C, ΔH = 114 kJ mol−1, ΔS = −15 J K−1 mol−1) have been determined. The steric veto of the nitrogen inversion in 2a has been confirmed. Chemical transformations of 1 have been studied, and the crystal structures of 2a·picrate and 2b·HCl determined.  相似文献

A visible spectrophotometric method has been developed for the reaction kinetics of o-phenylenediamine in the presence of gold (III). The method is based on the measurement of the absorbance of the reaction o-phenylenediamine and gold (III). Optimum conditions for the reaction were established as pH 6 at λ = 466 nm.When the reaction kinetic of o-phenylenediamine by gold (III) was investigated, it was observed that the following rate formula was found as ln (A/A0) = kt, according to absorbance measurements. The activation energy Ea and Arrhenius constant A were calculated from the Arrhenius equation as 1.009 kJ · mol−1 and 3.46 · 10−2 s−1, respectively. Other activation thermodynamic parameters, entropy, ΔS (J · mol−1 · K−1), enthalpy, ΔH (kJ · mol−1), Gibbs free energy, ΔG (kJ · mol−1) and equilibrium constant, Ke were calculated at T = (283.2, 303.2, 323.2, and 343.2) K. The study was exothermic due to the decrease of entropy and was a non-spontaneous process during activation.  相似文献

The molar enthalpies of reaction of metallic barium with 0.047 mol·dm−3 HClO4 as well as the molar enthalpies of dissolution of BaCl2 in 1.01 mol·dm−3 HCl and in water have been measured at T=298.15 K in a sealed swinging calorimeter with an isothermal jacket. From these results the standard molar enthalpy of formation of the barium ion in an aqueous solution at infinite dilution, as well as the enthalpies of formation of barium chloride and barium perchlorate, are calculated to be: ΔfH0m(Ba2+,aq)=−(535.83±1.25) kJ · mol−1; ΔfH0m(BaCl2,cr)=−(855.66±1.28) kJ · mol−1; and ΔfH0m(BaClO4,cr)=−(796.26±1.35) kJ · mol−1. The results obtained are discussed and compared with previous experimental values.  相似文献

Enthalpy changes for the reaction of HCl(aq) withNa2WO4 (aq) were measured at T =  298.15 K in a HT-1000 calorimeter. The standard enthalpy of reaction for the formation ofW7O246   (aq) was calculated on the basis of the experimental results, ΔrHmo(298.15K )  =   (320.7  ±  1.0)kJ · mol  1. Combining this with the values from the literature led to the standard enthalpy of formation of W7O246  (aq),ΔfHmo (298.15 K)  =   6689.8 kJ · mol  1.  相似文献

In the present study a biomass derived from the leaves of Acacia nilotica was used as an adsorbent material for the removal of cadmium and lead from aqueous solution. The effect of various operating variables, viz., adsorbent dosage, contact time, pH and temperature on the removal of cadmium and lead has been studied. Maximum adsorption of cadmium and lead arises at a concentration of 2 g/50 ml and 3 g/50 ml and at a pH value of 5 and 4, respectively. The sorption data favored the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Langmuir, Freundlich and Dubinin–Radushkevich (D–R) models were applied to describe the biosorption isotherm of the metal ions by A. nilotica biomass. Based on regression coefficient, the equilibrium data found were fitted well to the Langmuir equilibrium model than other models. Thermodynamic parameters such as free energy change (ΔG°), enthalpy change (ΔH°) and entropy change (ΔS°) have been calculated, respectively revealed the spontaneous, endothermic and feasible nature of adsorption process. The activation energy of the biosorption (Ea) was estimated as 9.34 kJ mol−1 for Pb and 3.47 kJ mol−1 for Cd from Arrhenius plot at different temperatures.  相似文献

Excess molar enthalpies HmEand excess molar volumesVmE of (1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone  +  benzene, or methylbenzene, or 1,2-dimethylbenzene, or 1,3-dimethylbenzene, or 1,4-dimethylbenzene, or 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, or ethylbenzene) over the whole range of compositions have been measured at T =  298.15 K. The excess molar enthalpy values were positive for five of the seven systems studied and the excess molar volume values were negative for six of the seven systems studied. The excess enthalpy ranged from a maximum of 435 J · mol  1for (1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazoline  +  1,3,5-trimethylbenzene) to a minimum of   308 J · mol  1for (1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazoline  +  benzene). The excess molar volume values ranged from a maximum of 0.95cm3mol  1 for (1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazoline  +  ethylbenzene) and a minimum of   1.41 cm3mol  1for (1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazoline  +  methylbenzene). The Redlich–Kister polynomial was used to correlate both the excess molar enthalpy and the excess molar volume data and the NRTL and UNIQUAC models were used to correlate the enthalpy of mixing data. The NRTL equation was found to be more suitable than the UNIQUAC equation for these systems. The results are discussed in terms of the polarizability of the aromatic compound and the effect of methyl substituents on the benzene ring.  相似文献

The degradation of aqueous 2,3-dihydroxynaphthaline (2,3-DHN) under the influence of γ-ray was investigated under various experimental conditions. Using 2.5×10−5 mol L−1 2,3-DHN in aerated media (pH=6–6.8) an initial degradation yield, Gi-(2,3-DHN)=0.32 was obtained, whereas in solutions saturated with N2O the yield come to Gi-(2,3-DHN)=0.50.In airfree media the substrate decomposition was negligible. Possible reaction mechanisms are presented.Further, the rate constant, k(OH+2,3-DHN)=2.14×1010 L mol−1 s−1 was determined by competition reactions with PNDA.  相似文献

Photodegradation of 4-nitrophenol (4-Np) in the presence of zinc tetrasulfophthalocyanine (ZnPcS4), zinc octacarboxyphthalocyanine (ZnPc(COOH)8) and a sulfonated ZnPc containing a mixture of differently sulfonated derivatives (ZnPcSmix), as photocatalysts is reported. ZnPcSmix is the most effective catalyst in terms of a high quantum yield for 4-Np degradation and the stability of the catalyst. However ZnPc(COOH)8 degrades readily during the catalysis, but it has a higher quantum yield (Φ4-Np) for 4-Np degradation than the rest of the complexes. The Φ4-Np values were closely related to the singlet oxygen quantum yields ΦΔ and hence aggregation. The rate constants for the reaction with 4-Np were kr = 0.67 × 106 mol−1 dm3 s−1 for ZnPcSmix and 2.8 × 108 mol−1 dm3 s−1 for ZnPc(COOH)8.  相似文献

The thermal behavior of 4-amino-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (ATO) was studied under non-isothermal condition by DSC method in a sealed cell of stainless steel. The melting enthalpy and melting entropy of ATO are 21.34 ± 0.49 kJ mol−1 and 46.54 ± 0.30 J mol−1 K−1, respectively. The kinetic parameters were obtained from the analysis of DSC curves by Kissinger method, Ozawa method, the differential method and the integral method. The main exothermic decomposition reaction mechanism of ATO is classified as nucleation and growth, and the kinetic parameters of the reaction are Ea = 119.50 kJ mol−1 and A = 109.03 s−1. The gas products and condensed phase products of the thermal decomposition of ATO were studied on two simultaneous devices of the fast thermolysis reaction cell (gas reaction cell) in situ in conjunction with rapid scan transform infrared spectroscopy (RSFT-IR) and the solid reaction cell in situ. The heat of formation (HOF) for ATO was evaluated by G3 theory. The detonation velocity (D) and detonation pressure (P) were estimated by using the well-known Kamlet–Jacobs equation, based on the theoretical HOF and the determined crystal density.  相似文献

Measurements of vapour pressure in the liquid phase and of enthalpy of vaporisation and results of calculation of ideal-gas properties for diethyl phthalate are reported. The method of comparative ebulliometry, the static method, and the Knudsen mass-loss effusion method were employed to determine the vapour pressure. A Calvet-type differential microcalorimeter was used to measure the enthalpy of vaporisation. Simultaneous correlation of vapour pressure, of enthalpy of vaporisation and of difference in heat capacities of ideal gas and liquid/solid phases was used to generate parameters of the Cox equation that cover both the (vapour + solid) equilibrium (approximate temperature range from 220 K to 270 K) and (vapour + liquid) equilibrium (from 270 K to 520 K). Vapour pressure and enthalpy of vaporisation derived from the fit are reported at the triple-point temperature T = 269.92 K (p = 0.0029 Pa, ΔvapHm = 85.10 kJ · mol−1 ), at T = 298.15 K (p = 0.099 Pa, ΔvapHm = 82.09 kJ · mol−1), and at the normal boiling temperature T = 570.50 K (ΔvapHm = 56.49 kJ · mol−1). Measured vapour pressures and measured and calculated enthalpies of vaporisation are compared with literature data.  相似文献

In this study an effective method was developed to assay erythromycin ethylsuccinate for an oral suspension dosage form. The chromatographic separation was achieved on an X-Terra™ C18 analytical column. A mixture of acetonitrile–ammonium dihydrogen phosphate buffer (0.025 mol L-1) (60:40, V/V) (pH 7.0) was used as the mobile phase, effluent flow rate monitored at 1.0 mL min−1, and UV detection at 205 nm. In forced degradation studies, the effects of acid, base, oxidation, UV light and temperature were investigated showing no interference in the peak of drug. The proposed method was validated in terms of specificity, linearity, robustness, precision and accuracy. The method was linear at concentrations ranging from 400 to 600 μg mL−1, precise (intra- and inter-day relative standard deviations <0.65), accurate (mean recovery; 99.5%). The impurities and degradation products of erythromycin ethylsuccinate were selectively determined with good resolution in both the raw material and the final suspension forms. The method could be useful for both routine analytical and quality control assays of erythromycin ethylsuccinate in commercial powder for an oral suspension dosage form and it could be a very powerful tool to investigate the chemical stability of erythromycin ethylsuccinate.  相似文献

A heat-flow Calvet microcalorimeter was adapted for the measurement of sublimation enthalpies by the vacuum-drop method, with samples of masses in the range 1 mg to 5 mg. The electrically calibrated apparatus was tested by determining the enthalpies of sublimation of benzoic acid and ferrocene, at T =  298.15 K. The obtained results, ΔcrgHmo(C7H6O2)  =  (88.3  ±  0.5)kJ · mol  1and ΔcrgHmo(C10H10Fe) =  (73.3  ±  0.1)kJ · mol  1, are in excellent agreement with the corresponding values recommended in the literature. Subsequent application of the apparatus to the determination of the enthalpy of sublimation of η5-bis-pentamethylcyclopentadyenyl iron, at T =  298.15 K, led to ΔcrgHmo(C20H30Fe)  =  (96.8  ±  0.6)kJ · mol  1.  相似文献

Low-temperature heat capacities of the 9-fluorenemethanol (C14H12O) have been precisely measured with a small sample automatic adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range between T=78 K and T=390 K. The solid–liquid phase transition of the compound has been observed to be Tfus=(376.567±0.012) K from the heat-capacity measurements. The molar enthalpy and entropy of the melting of the substance were determined to be ΔfusHm=(26.273±0.013) kJ · mol−1 and ΔfusSm=(69.770±0.035) J · K−1 · mol−1. The experimental values of molar heat capacities in solid and liquid regions have been fitted to two polynomial equations by the least squares method. The constant-volume energy and standard molar enthalpy of combustion of the compound have been determined, ΔcU(C14H12O, s)=−(7125.56 ± 4.62) kJ · mol−1 and ΔcHm(C14H12O, s)=−(7131.76 ± 4.62) kJ · mol−1, by means of a homemade precision oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter at T=(298.15±0.001) K. The standard molar enthalpy of formation of the compound has been derived, ΔfHm(C14H12O,s)=−(92.36 ± 0.97) kJ · mol−1, from the standard molar enthalpy of combustion of the compound in combination with other auxiliary thermodynamic quantities through a Hess thermochemical cycle.  相似文献

The kinetics of the diazotization reaction of procaine in the presence of anionic micelles of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and cationic micelles of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB), dodecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (DDTAB) and tetradecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (TDTAB) were carried out spectrophotometrically at λmax = 289 nm. The values of the pseudo first order rate constant were found to be linearly dependent upon the [NaNO2] in the concentration range of 1.0 × 10−3 mol dm−3 to 12.0 × 10−3 mol dm−3 in the presence of 2.0 × 10−2 mol dm−3 acetic acid. The concentration of procaine was kept constant at 6.50 × 10−5 mol dm−3. The addition of the cationic surfactants increased the reaction rate and gave plateau like curve. The addition of SDS micelles to the reactants initially increased the rate of reaction and gave maximum like curve. The maximum value of the rate constant was found to be 9.44 × 10−3 s−1 at 2.00 × 10−3 mol dm−3 SDS concentration. The azo coupling of diazonium ion with β-naphthol (at λmax = 488) nm was found to linearly dependent upon [ProcN2+] in the presence of both the cationic micelles (CTAB, DDTAB and TDTAB) and anionic micelles (SDS). Both the cationic and anionic micelles inhibited the rate of reactions. The kinetic results in the presence of micelles are explained using the Berezin pseudophase model. This model was also used to determine the kinetic parameters e.g. km, Ks from the observed results of the variation of rate constant at different [surfactants].  相似文献

The reaction of OH with naringenin (4′,5,7-trihydroxyflavanone) in the presence of air induced the formation of the hydroxylation product eriodictyol (3′,4′,5,7-tetrahydroxyflavanone). Its yield was dependent on pH. The initial degradation yield of naringenin was Gi(-Nar)=(2.5±0.2)×10−7 mol dm−3 J−1. For the reaction with OH, a rate constant k (OH+naringenin)=(7.2±0.7)×109 M−1 s−1 was determined. In the presence of N2O and NaN3/N2O, no eriodyctiol was formed. Apigenin (4′,5,7-trihydroxyflavon) was detected as decay product of the naringenin phenoxyl radicals. In Ar-saturated solutions, naringenin exhibited a pronounced radiation resistance, G(-naringenin) ∼0.3×10−7 mol dm−3 J−1.  相似文献

Vapour pressures of water over saturated solutions of magnesium, calcium, nickel and zinc acetates were determined as a function of temperature. The vapour pressures served to evaluate the water activities, osmotic coefficients and molar enthalpies of vaporization. Molar enthalpies of solution of magnesium acetate tetrahydrate,ΔsolHm (T =  294.71K ;m =  0.01 mol · kg  1)  =   (15.65  ±  0.97)kJ · mol  1; calcium acetate,ΔsolHm (T =  297.18K ;m =  0.01 mol · kg  1)  =   (28.15  ±  0.28)kJ · mol  1; zinc acetate dihydrate,ΔsolHm (T =  297.36K ;m =  0.01 mol · kg  1)  =   (22.49  ±  0.90)kJ · mol  1and lead acetate trihydrate,ΔsolHm (T =  297.36K ;m =  0.0086 mol · kg  1)  =  (22.46  ±  0.94)kJ · mol  1, were determined calorimetrically.  相似文献

The energetic study of 4-nitro-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole has been developed using experimental techniques together with computational approaches. The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpy of formation of crystalline 4-nitro-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (181.9 ± 2.3 kJ · mol−1) was determined from the experimental standard molar energy of combustion −(3574.3 ± 1.3) kJ · mol−1, in oxygen, measured by rotating-bomb combustion calorimetry at T = 298.15 K. The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpy of sublimation, at T = 298.15 K, (101.8 ± 4.3) kJ · mol−1, was determined by a direct method, using the vacuum drop microcalorimetric technique. From the latter value and from the enthalpy of formation of the solid, it was calculated the standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) enthalpy of formation of gaseous 4-nitro-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole as (283.7 ± 4.9) kJ · mol−1. Standard ab initio molecular orbital calculations were performed using the G3(MP2)//B3LYP composite procedure and several working reactions in order to derive the standard molar enthalpy of formation 4-nitro-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole. The ab initio results are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

A novel cation exchanger (TFS-CE) having carboxylate functionality was prepared through graft copolymerization of hydroxyethylmethacrylate onto tamarind fruit shell (TFS) in the presence of N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide as a cross-linking agent using K2S2O8/Na2S2O3 initiator system, followed by functionalisation. The TFS-CE was used for the removal of Cu(II) from aqueous solutions. At fixed solid/solution ratio the various factors affecting adsorption such as pH, initial concentration, contact time, and temperature were investigated. Kinetic experiments showed that the amount of Cu(II) adsorbed increased with increase in Cu(II) concentration and equilibrium was attained at 1 h. The kinetics of adsorption follows pseudo-second-order model and the rate constant increases with increase in temperature indicating endothermic nature of adsorption. The Arrhenius and Eyring equations were used to obtain the kinetic parameters such as activation energy (Ea) and enthalpy (ΔH#), entropy (ΔS#) and free energy (ΔG#) of activation for the adsorption process. The value of Ea for adsorption was found to be 10.84 kJ · mol?1 and the adsorption involves diffusion controlled process. The equilibrium data were well fitted to the Langmuir isotherm. The maximum adsorption capacity for Cu(II) was 64 · 10 mg · g?1 at T = 303 K. The thermodynamic parameters such as changes in free energy (ΔG°), enthalpy (ΔH°), and entropy (ΔS°) were derived to predict the nature of adsorption process. The isosteric heat of adsorption increases with increase in surface loading indicating some lateral interactions between the adsorbed metal ions.  相似文献

The radiation induced degradation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) has been studied by gamma irradiation, while the reactivity and spectral features of the short lived transients formed by reaction with primary transient radicals at different pHs has been investigated by pulse radiolysis technique. In steady state radiolysis a dose of 4.4 k Gy is able to degrade 98% of 1×10−4 mol dm−3 4-NP. 4-NP has pKa at 7.1, above which it is present in the anionic form. At pH 5.2, OH and N3 radicals were found to react with 4-NP with rate constants of 4.1×109 dm3 mol−1 s−1 and 2.8×108 dm3 mol−1 s−1, respectively. Differences in the absorption spectra of species formed in the reactions of 4-NP with OH and N3 radicals suggested that OH radicals add to the aromatic ring of 4-NP along with electron transfer reaction, whereas N3 radicals undergo only electron transfer reaction. At pH 9.2, rate constants for the reaction of OH radicals with 4-NP was found to be higher by a factor of 2 compared to that at pH 5.2. This has been assigned to the deprotonation of 4-NP at pH 9.2.  相似文献
