We report on the resonance fluorescence(RF) from single In As quantum dots(QDs) emitting at the telecom band of 1300 nm. The InAs/GaAs QDs are embedded in a planar optical microcavity and the RF is measured by an orthogonal excitation-detection geometry for deeply suppressing the residual laser scattering. An ultra-weak He–Ne laser is necessary to be used as a gate laser for obtaining RF. Rabi oscillation with more than one period is observed through the picosecond(ps) pulsed laser excitation. The resonant control of exciton opens up new possibilities for realizing the on-demand single photon emission and quantum manipulation of solid-state qubits at telecom band. 相似文献

The transmission spectrum of four-level atoms in a cavity is calculated. It is shown that the four separate peaks associated
with normal mode splitting and intra-cavity double dark states can be observed simultaneously. The position and intensity
of the four peaks can be controlled by the intensity of the third interacting light. Therefore, the enhancement of normal
mode splitting by a third coupling light of the intra-cavity four-level atoms is developed.

研究了脉冲激光激发下半导体量子点激子Rabi振荡中多能级过程引起的退相干特性.运用多能级粒子数运动方程组,分别计算和分析了三种多能级过程(双激子、浸润层泄漏以及俄歇俘获过程)对量子点中Rabi振荡衰减的影响.分析表明,双激子的影响在激发脉冲的脉宽较长时(>5ps)可以忽略;浸润层的泄漏虽然使得激子基态上粒子数振荡的振幅随着激发场的增强而减小,但是同时也导致了振荡平均值的减小;分析和讨论了两种俄歇俘获方式对激子振荡和复合发光的影响.

We develop a scheme to construct the Hamiltonians of the lambda-, vee- and cascade-type three-level configurations using the
generators of SU(3) group. It turns out that this approach provides a well-defined selection rule to give different Hamiltonians for each
configuration. The lambda- and vee-type configurations are exactly solved with different initial conditions while taking the
two-mode classical and quantized fields. For the classical field, it is shown that the Rabi oscillation of the lambda model
is similar to that of the vee model and the dynamics of the vee model can be recovered from lambda model and vice versa simply
by inversion. We then proceed to solve the quantized version of both models by introducing a novel Euler matrix formalism.
It is shown that this dynamical symmetry exhibited in the Rabi oscillation of two configurations for the semiclassical models
is completely destroyed on quantization of the field modes. The symmetry can be restored within the quantized models when
both field modes are in the coherent states with large average photon number which is depicted through the collapse and revival
of the Rabi oscillations.

We study the exact solutions of the cascade three-level atom interacting with a single mode classical and quantized field
with different initial conditions of the atom. For the semiclassical model, it is found that if the atom is initially in the
middle level, the time-dependent populations of the upper and lower levels are always equal. This dynamical symmetry exhibited
by the classical field is spoiled on quantization of the field mode. To reveal this non-classical effect, a Euler matrix formalism
is developed to solve the dressed states of the cascade Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM). Possible modification of such an effect

In this paper, we suggest a doubly degenerate four-level system, in which the transition takes place between the hyperfine energy 52S1/2 F = 1 and 52P3/2 F = 2 in rubidium 87 D2 line, for studying atomic phase grating based on the cross-Kerr and phase conjugation effects. The phase grating with high efficiency can be obtained by tuning phase shift Ф between the coupling and probe field, when the coupling intensity is much stronger than the strength of probe field. Under different coupling intensities, a high diffraction efficiency can be maintained. A new and simple way of implementing phase grating is presented. However, in such an atomic system, two main limitations must be taken into account. First, the independence between steady state probe susceptibility and the coupling intensity, when the population decay rate is larger than the Rabi frequency of the coupling field, cannot result in diffraction grating; second, the sample to be prepared should not be too long. 相似文献

本文对Y模型四能级原子辅助光力学系统的稳态特性进行了研究.结果发现,构成复合光力学系统的振动腔镜和被束缚在腔内的原子系综将随着弹簧劲度系数的减小,由单稳态过渡到多稳态.在劲度系数很大时,振动腔镜对整个光力学系统几乎无作用,光力学系统和处在腔中的原子系综都将出现一个稳态解.而当劲度系数足够小时,振动腔镜的稳态位移出现了多稳现象,随之对处于光力学腔中的原子系综的稳态行为也产生了影响,不但使得原子系综的极化率呈现出多个稳态解,同时使得腔中的原子系综对探测光的吸收和色散也发生了相应的变化.同时发现,通过调节劲度系数的取值可以控制整个系统稳态解的个数.这些研究结果在精密测量或量子信息处理等方面具有潜在应用价值. 相似文献

In this paper,we propose a scheme to achieve a multiphonon-resonance quantum Rabi model and adiabatic passage in a strong-coupling cavity optomechanical system.In the scheme,when the driving bichromatic laser beam is adjusted to the off-resonant j-order red-and blue-sideband,the interaction between the cavity and mechanical oscillator leads to a j-phonon resonance quantum Rabi model.Moreover,we show that there exists a resonant multi-phonon coupling via intermediate states connected by counter-rotating processes when the frequency of the simulated bosonic mode is near a fraction of the transition frequency of the simulated two-level system.As a typical example,we theoretically analyze the two-phonon resonance quantum Rabi model,and derive an effective Hamiltonian of the six-phonon coupling.Finally,we present a method of six-phonon generation based on adiabatic passage across the resonance.Numerical simulations confirm the validity of the proposed scheme.Theoretically,the proposed scheme can be extended to the realization of 3j-phonon state. 相似文献

本文提出两种协议来实现远程态制备.第一个方案描述基于两体最大纠缠信道,如何远程制备四能级系统中的任意单粒子量子态.然后由第一个方案概括出第二个方案,即在四能级系统中实现两粒子纠缠态的远程制备方案.在两种制备的过程中, 需要分别实施一个单粒子投影测量和一个两粒子投影测量.结果表明,两个方案都能以大于25%的几率忠信地实现.此外,对于两类特殊态,即赤道态和实数态,其成功概率大大提高至100%,此时我们几率的协议转变为决定性的协议. 相似文献

在n型四能级原子系统中,研究了电磁感应吸收的非线性理论.结果表明:探测光的拉比频率和衰减分配系数A影响非线性吸收,进而影响介质吸收.当探测光光强较弱时,介质吸收和线性吸收一致,均表现为电磁感应吸收特征;当探测光光强增大时,介质吸收和线性吸收不再一致,介质吸收曲线将会呈现出烧孔现象;当探测光光强增大到控制光(或信号光)光强时,介质吸收表现出很大的增益现象.同时,非线性吸收受到衰减分配系数A的影响,即使在探测场很弱的条件下,随着A值的减小,介质吸收由电磁感应吸收现象表
