Extraction behaviour of actinides, lanthanides, fission products and structural elements has been studied with the two diglycolamide
extractants, namely N,N,N′,N′-tetra-2-ethylhexyl diglycolamide (T2EHDGA) and N,N,N′,N′-tetraoctyl diglycolamide (TODGA). The
acid extraction studies suggested that T2EHDGA (KH: 1.8) is less basic as compared to its linear homologue, TODGA (KH: 4.1). The distribution ratio of Am(III) by 0.1 M diglycolamides followed the order: TODGA > T2EHDGA. The number of ligand
molecules present in the stoichiometry of the extracted species of Am(III) was found to be three and four for T2EHDGA and
TODGA, respectively. Thermodynamics studies suggested that the extraction of Am(III) by both the extractants is exothermic
in nature. The radiolytic stability of TODGA and T2EHDGA solutions in n-dodecane has been investigated. Due to lower distribution ratio of Am by T2EHDGA, 0.2 M of its solution has been used as
compared to 0.1 M solution of TODGA. The distribution behaviour of various metal ions, viz. Am, Nd, Fe, Mo, Cr, Sr and Cs
has been studied from nitric acid as well as from simulated high level waste solution. 相似文献

The extraction behaviors of strontium from nitric acid solution were investigated with N,N,N′,N′-tetraisobutyl diglycolamide (TiBDGA). Effects of acidity, diluents, concentration of extractant and temperature on the distribution ratio of strontium (D Sr) were examined. The stoichiometry of the extracted molecule was Sr2+:TiBDGA of 1:3. The apparent extraction equilibrium concentration constant logK ex was 3.25. The enthalpy change ΔH and entropy change ΔS were ?55.6 kJ mol-1 and ?124 J mol-1 K-1, respectively. The extraction is an exothermic process. Through two strip stages, strontium could be stripped effectively by 0.01 M nitric acid solution. 相似文献

The radiolytic degradation of N,N-di-dodecyl-N′,N′-di-2-ethylhexyl-3-oxapentane-1,5-diamide (D3DEHDGA) was studied at various absorbed doses of γ-radiation. The degradation was assessed by measuring the variation in the extraction behavior of Am(III) in irradiated solvent systems composed of neat D3DEHDGA or 0.1 M D3DEHDGA/n-dodecane in the presence and absence of nitric acid. The distribution ratio of americium (D Am(III)) decreased with increase of absorbed dose. The presence of n-dodecane and nitric acid enhanced the radiolytic degradation of the solvent. The third phase formation behavior of Nd(III) decreased with increase of absorbed dose and the third phase was not observed at absorbed doses above 100 kGy. The recovery of Am(III) from the irradiated system was near quantitative in five contacts. The study revealed that the extraction and stripping behavior of the irradiated solvent was quite satisfactory for partitioning of minor actinides from real wastes. 相似文献

Summary
N,N,N,N-Tetramethylisophthalthioamide (Hmpt) was cyclopalladated with PdCl2 in hot dimethylsulphoxide to give [PdCl(mpt)]. The structure was determined by X-ray analysis. The thioamide is metallated at C(2) to act as an S528-01C528-02S tridentate anionic ligand. There is appreciable steric repulsion between the benzene ring H(4, 6) and the dimethylamino groups. The hydrogens and the methyl groups mutually deviate from the coordination plane in opposite directions. The stability of the fused 5,5-membered chelate ring formed by the S528-03C528-04S ligand seems to overcome the steric hindrance. Derivatives were prepared by replacement of the chloride ion with iodide, diethyldithiocarbamate, 4-tert-butylpyridine, or tri-n-butylphosphine, and characterized spectroscopically. The S528-05C528-06S-fused chelate ring was maintained in these derivatives. 相似文献

This paper describes a method for the separation and purification of 90Sr from PUREX–HLLW employing solvent extraction and precipitation techniques. 30 % TBP in n-dodecane was used for the removal of residual uranium, plutonium and neptunium from HLLW. Trivalent actinides and lanthanides were subsequently removed using N,N,N’,N’-tetra(2-ethylhexyl) diglycolamide (TEHDGA, 0.20 M in 30 % isodecyl alcohol and n-dodecane). 90Sr was selectively extracted from actinides and lanthanides depleted HLLW using 0.3 M TEHDGA in 5 % isodecyl alcohol and dodecane. Loaded strontium was stripped using 0.01 M HNO3 and further purified by radiochemical precipitation technique after adding Fe and natural strontium as carriers. Based on the experimental results, a flow-sheet was formulated and mCi levels of 90Sr recovered. 相似文献

Abstract A highly sensitive spectrophotometric determination of benzoylperoxide (BPO) based on the color developing reaction between N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine (TMPD) and BPO in the presence of cerium(IV) in weakly acidic media is proposed. The calibration graph is linear in the range 0–6000 ng BPO per 10 ml with an apparent molar absorptivity of 4.73 × 105 1 mol?1 cm-1 at 612 nm. The proposed method is about 50-fold more sensitive than N-ethyl-2-naphthylamine (NENA), and application to assays of flour is described. 相似文献

The ground state and protonated state (quaternized salt) vibrational spectra (200–1800 cm−1) of the title amines are reported for various ring and/or methyl deuterated derivatives. Complete assignments are proposed and compared to those established for the parent hydrocarbons, benzene and biphenyl, and for the parent primary amines, aniline, p-phenylenediamine and benzidine. The electronic distribution, N(n)→ring(π) charge-transfer character and inductive effects are characterized from a vibrational point of view. Finally changes in the vibrational and electronic conformation upon protonation of the nitrogen atom are discussed. These results provide a fundamental basis for the vibrational investigation of excited states and reactive transients of aromatic amines. 相似文献

The step dissociation constants of ethylenediamine-N,N′-diacetic-N,N′-dipropionic and ethylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetrapropionic acids at 298.15 K and ionic strengths of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 (KNO3) were determined potentiometrically. The results were extrapolated to zero ionic strength by the equation with one individual parameter. The thermodynamic constants of dissociation were calculated. N,N,N,N-tetrabutylmalonamide (TBMA) was synthesized and used for extraction of uranyl(II) ion from nitric acid media in toluene. The effects of nitric acid concentration, extractant concentration, temperature and salting-out agent (LiNO3) on distribution coefficients of uranyl(II) ion have been studied. The i.r. and Raman spectra of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine and the perchlorate salt of its radical cation have been recorded. The frequencies of the fundamental vibrations of the neutral molecule and the radical ion have been computed using force constants transferred from smaller molecules. The observed spectral bands have been assigned and the ionization band shifts have been discussed. Most of the significant band shifts have been observed in the 1700-1300 cm−1 range. The calculations showed that they are primarily due to the variation of the bond strengths of the ring CC and ring-N bonds. 相似文献
