The article establishes the sufficient and necessary conditions for the strong convergence of the Ishikawa iterative scheme with random errors in the sense of Xu for a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in an arbitrary real Banach space under certain assumptions. It affirmatively answers the open question that put forth by Zeng. The results in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results of Browder, Petryshyn, Rhoades, Osilike and Zeng.  相似文献

In this work, we prove the existence and the uniqueness of the strong solution of a low‐Mach model, for which the dynamic viscosity of the fluid is a given function of its temperature. The method is based on the convergence study of a sequence towards the solution, for which the rates are also given. The originality of the approach is to consider the system in terms of the temperature and the velocity, leading to a nonlinear temperature equation and the development of some specific tools and results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new W-mapping and present an iterative algorithm for an infinite family of strict pseudo-contractions. Strong convergence theorems are proved in Banach spaces. Our results improve and extend the corresponding result announced by Cai and Hu [G. Cai, C. In the present paper, we prove that the modified implicit iteration sequence for a finite family of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings converges strongly to a common fixed point of the family in a uniformly convex Banach space, requiring one member T in the family to be semi-compact. In this note, an inertial and relaxed version of a diagonal hybrid projection-proximal point algorithm is considered, in order to find the minimum of a function f approximated by a sequence of functions (in general, smoother than f or taking into account some constraints of the problem). As an important iteration, the Mann and Ishikawa iteration has extensive application in fixed point theory. In 1991, David Borwein and Jonathan Borwein proved the convergence of the Mann iteration on a closed bounded interval in their paper. In this paper, we will extend their result to an arbitrary interval and to the Ishikawa iteration, indicating the necessary and sufficient condition for the convergence of Ishikawa iteration of continuous functions on an arbitrary interval.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, an iterative algorithm that approximates solutions of split equality fixed point problems (SEFPP) for quasi-φ-nonexpansive maps is constructed. Strong convergence of the sequence generated by this algorithm is established in certain real Banach spaces without imposing any compactness-type condition on either the operators or the space considered. We applied our theorem to solve split equality problem, split equality variational inclusion problem and split equality equilibrium problem. Furthermore, some numerical example is given to demonstrate the implementability of our algorithm. Finally, our theorems improve and complement a host of important recent results.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study a new viscosity iterative algorithm based on a generalized contraction for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a general variational inequality problem for finite inversely strongly accretive mappings and the set of common fixed points for a countable family of strict pseudo-contractions in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. We prove some strong convergence theorems under some suitable conditions. The results obtained in this paper improve and extend the recent ones announced by many others in the literature.  相似文献

Existence and partial uniqueness results are established,under a variety of conditions, for a system of equations arising in electrochemistry problems. The main idea is the reduction of the system to a single equation involving nonlocal terms. Upper and lower solution procedures are then applied to show both existence and uniqueness. General local convergence theorems with order of convergence r≥1r1 are provided for iterative processes of the type xn+1=Txnxn+1=Txn, where T:D⊂X→XT:DXX is an iteration function in a metric space XX. The new local convergence theory is applied to Newton iteration for simple zeros of nonlinear operators in Banach spaces as well as to Schröder iteration for multiple zeros of polynomials and analytic functions. The theory is also applied to establish a general theorem for the uniqueness ball of nonlinear equations in Banach spaces. The new results extend and improve some results of [K. This paper deals with a discrete Nicholson's blowflies model with linear harvesting term. By using contraction mapping fixed point theorem, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of unique almost periodic positive solution.
