Hom Functors from A Regular Category

This paper aims to show the exactness of Hom functors with domain a regular category and codomain the category set. I°In [Ⅰ], we put forward a problem: To what degree and to which categories with ferminal objects can HAA (homological algebra in abelian categories)be naturally extended? By "naturally"we mean that the generalized theory degenerate into the theory of HAA when the terminal objects are nullS.

The Quotient Category of a Graded Morita-Takeuchi Context

In this paper, we offer a graded equivalence between the quotient categories defined by any graded Morita-Takeuchi context via certain modifications of the graded cotensor functors. As a consequence, we show a commutative diagram that establish the relation between the closed objects of the categories gr^c and M^C, where C is a graded coalgebra.

Digital Cofibration and Digital Lusternik-Schnirelmann Category in the Sense of Subdivision

In this paper, using the notion of subdivision, the authors generalize the definition of cofibration in digital topology and show that this kind of cofibration is injective in the sense of subdivision. Meanwhile, they give the necessary condition under which a digital map is a cofibration. Furthermore, they consider the Lusternik-Schnirelmann category of digital maps in the sense of subdivision and give several fundamental homotopy properties about it.

On Lie Algebras in the Category of Yetter—Drinfeld Modules

The category of Yetter—Drinfeld modules over a Hopf algebra K (with bijective antipode over a field k) is a braided monoidal category. If H is a Hopf algebra in this category then the primitive elements of H do not form an ordinary Lie algebra anymore. We introduce the notion of a (generalized) Lie algebra in such that the set of primitive elements P(H) is a Lie algebra in this sense. Also the Yetter—Drinfeld module of derivations of an algebra A in is a Lie algebra. Furthermore for each Lie algebra in there is a universal enveloping algebra which turns out to be a Hopf algebra in .     

Functoriality of the BGG Category 𝒪††

This article aims to contribute to the study of algebras with triangular decomposition over a Hopf algebra, as well as the BGG Category 𝒪. We study functorial properties of 𝒪 across various setups. The first setup is over a skew group ring, involving a finite group Γ acting on a regular triangular algebra A. We develop Clifford theory for A?Γ, and obtain results on block decomposition, complete reducibility, and enough projectives. 𝒪 is shown to be a highest weight category when A satisfies one of the “Conditions (S);” the BGG Reciprocity formula is slightly different because the duality functor need not preserve each simple module.

Next, we turn to tensor products of such skew group rings; such a product is also a skew group ring. We are thus able to relate four different types of Categories 𝒪; more precisely, we list several conditions, each of which is equivalent in any one setup, to any other setup, and which yield information about 𝒪.     

Category Theoretic Properties of Topological Structures and Proximity Structures on L-fuzzy Space

This paper formulates the category of L-fuzzy spaces and fuzzy functions. It shows that the category of topological spaces and continuous fuzzy functions is a direct generalization of TOP and LTOP Moreover, it defines the concept of proximity space on L-fuzzy space and introduces its fundamental properties. A comparison between the classical case and the ordinary case has been outlined.

On the Category of Koszul Modules of Complexity One of an Exterior Algebra

In this paper, we prove that there is a natural equivalence between the category F1（x） of Koszul modules of complexity 1 with filtration of given cyclic modules as the factor modules of an exterior algebra A = ∧V of an m-dimensional vector space, and the category of the finite-dimensional locally nilpotent modules of the polynomial algebra of m - 1 variables.

Coherent Continuation on the Category of (𝔤, K)-Modules

Abstract

Let 𝔤 be a complex semisimple Lie algebra. Let K be an algebraic group acting on the flag variety of 𝔤 with finitely many orbits. We give a geometric interpretation of the coherent continuation on the category of finitely generated (𝔤, K )-modules in terms of the intertwining functors on the category of K-equivariant 𝒟-modules.     

Spaces over a Category and Assembly Maps in Isomorphism Conjectures in K‐ and L‐Theory

We give a unified approach to the Isomorphism Conjecture of Farrell and Jones on the algebraicKandLtheory of integral group rings and to the Baum–Connes Conjecture on the topologicalKtheory of reducedC*algebras of groups. The approach is through spectra over the orbit category of a discrete groupG.We give several points of view on the assembly map for a family of subgroups and characterize such assembly maps by a universal property generalizing the results of Weiss and Williams to the equivariant setting. The main tools are spaces and spectra over a category and their associated generalized homology and cohomology theories, and homotopy limits.
