Let L be a one-to-one operator of type ω having a bounded H∞ functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies-Gaffney estimates with k ∈ N. In this paper, the authors introduce the Hardy space HLp(Rn) with p ∈ (0, 1] associated with L in terms of square functions defined via {e-t2kL}t>0 and establish their molecular and generalized square function characterizations. Typical examples of such operators include the 2k-order divergence form homogeneous elliptic operator L1 with complex bounded measurable coefficients and the 2k-order Schrdinger type operator L2 := (-Δ)k + Vk, where Δ is the Laplacian and 0≤V∈Llock(Rn). Moreover, as an application, for i ∈ {1, 2}, the authors prove that the associated Riesz transform ▽k(Li-1/2) is bounded from HLip (Rn) to Hp(Rn) for p ∈ (n/(n + k), 1] and establish the Riesz transform characterizations of HL1p (Rn) for p ∈ (rn/(n + kr), 1] if {e-tL1 }t>0 satisfies the Lr-L2 k-off-diagonal estimates with r ∈ (1, 2]. We offer a new proof of a special Tauberian theorem for Fourier type integrals. This Tauberian theorem was already considered by us in the papers [1] and [2]. The idea of our initial proof was simple, but the details were complicated because we used Bochner's definition of generalized Fourier transform for functions of polynomial growth. In the present paper we work with L. Schwartz's generalization. This leads to significant simplification. The paper consists of six sections. In Section 1 we establish an integral representation of functions of polynomial growth (subjected to some Tauberian conditions), in Section 2 we prove our main Tauberian theorems (Theorems 2.1 and 2.2.), using the integral representation of Section 1, in Section 3 we study the asymptotic behavior of M. Riesz's means of functions of polynomial growth, in Sections 4 and 5 we apply our Tauberian theorems to the problem of equiconvergence of eigenfunction expansions of Sturm-Liouville equations and expansion in ordinary Fourier integrals, and in Section 6 we compare our general equiconvergence theorems of Sections 4 and 5 with the well known theorems on eigenfunction expansions in classical orthogonal polynomials. In some sense this paper is a re-made survey of our results obtained during the period 1953-58. Another proof of our Tauberian theorem and some generalization can be found in the papers [3] and [4].  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new subclass of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions of the Mocanu-convex type defined in the open unit disk, satisfy Ma and Minda subordination conditions. Furthermore, we find estimates on the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in the new subclass introduced here. Further Application of Hohlov operator to this class is obtained. Let L =-? + V be a Schrdinger operator acting on L2(Rn), n ≥ 1, where V ≡ 0 is a nonnegative locally integrable function on Rn. In this article, we will intropduce weighted Hardy spaces H L(w) associated with L by means of the square function and then study their atomic decomposition theory. We will also show that the Riesz transform ?L-1/2associated with L is bounded from our new space Hp L(w) to the classical weighted Hardy space Hp(w) when n/(n +1) p 1 and w ∈ A1∩ RH(2/p)′.  相似文献

We prove generalized convergence theorems and Tauberian theorems for vector-valued functions and sequences of growth order γ − 1 with γ > 0 and for positive functions and sequences in Banach lattices. Then the general results are applied to obtain some interesting particular Tauberian results for various examples of operator semigroups. Among them are mean ergodic theorems for Cesàro-mean-bounded semigroups (discrete and continuous) of operators and for semigroups of positive operators. In the paper conditions are studied which ensure the equivalence of two given summability methods on the class of numerical series satisfying these conditions. One of these methods is the regular Cesàro method (C,w), which replaces the role of the convergence (C,0) the latter occurring in the classical Tauberian theorems. The other summability method considered is either the summability method (Rd,) by discrete Riesz means or the Cesàro method with (Rd,) with > w. New Tauberian type conditions are obtained under which the corresponding Tauberian theorems are proved.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Elementary linear first and second order differential equations can always be constructed for twice differentiable functions by explicitly including the function's derivatives in the definition of these equations. If the function also obeys a conventional differential equation, information from this equation can be introduced into the elementary equations to give blended linear equations which are here called hybrid equations. Integration theorems are derived for these hybrid equations and several universal integrals are also derived. The paper presents integrals derived with these methods for cylinder functions, associated Legendre functions, and the Gegenbauer, Chebyshev, Hermite, Jacobi and Laguerre orthogonal polynomials. All the results presented have been checked using Mathematica.  相似文献

In this paper we study the problem of explicit representation and convergence of Pal type (0;1) interpolation and its converse, with some additional conditions, on the non-uniformly distributed nodes on the unit circle obtaIned by projecting the interlaced zeros of Pn (x) and Pn′ (x) on the unit circle. The motivation to this problem can be traced to the recent studies on the regularity of Birkhoff interpolation and Pal type interpolations on non-uniformly distributed zeros on the unit circle.  相似文献

We propose a novel numerical approach for delay differential equations with vanishing proportional delays based on spectral methods. A Legendre-collocation method is employed to obtain highly accurate numerical approximations to the exact solution. In this paper, we suggest a method for solving Fredholm integral equation of the first kind based on wavelet basis. The continuous Legendre and Chebyshev wavelets of the first, second, third and fourth kind on [0,1] are used and are utilized as a basis in Galerkin method to approximate the solution of integral equations.
