Two processes of coupled difference-frequency axially phase-matched parametric six-wave mixing are carried out in Rb vapour by two-photon excitation using fs laser pulses, and parametric six-wave mixing signals in the infrared and near infrared regime are detected. The infrared parametric six-wave mixing signals are up-converted into the visible spectral range by sum-frequency mixing with the pump laser in a LiIO3 crystal. Moreover, quantum beating at 608cm-1, corresponding to the 7s-5d energy difference in Rb, is observed from the sum-frequency signal at 495nm. As a result, we obtain modulated light signals in the visible, near infrared and infrared spectral ranges, and study the interference between 7s and 5d states of Rb.  相似文献

We study the competition between dispersion and absorption of doubly-dressed four-wave mixing (DDFWM) and dressed six-wave mixing. In the case of weak coupling fields limit, we find DDFWM signal is affected by destructive interference between four-wave mixing(FWM) and six-wave mixing as wen as constructive interference between FWM and eight-wave mixing. By analysing the difference between two kinds of doubly dressing mechanisms (parallel cascade and nested cascade) in this opening five-level system, we can further understand the generated high-order nonlinear optical signal dressed by multi-fields.  相似文献

We report a three-photon resonant nondegenerate six-wave mixing (NSWM) in a dressed cascade five-level system. It has advantages that phase match condition is not stringent and NSWM signal is enhanced tremendously due to the multiple resonance with the atomic transition frequencies. In the presence of a strong coupling field, the threephoton resonant NSWM spectrum exhibits" Autler-Townes splitting. This technique provides a spectroscopic tool for measuring not only the resonant frequency and dephasing rate but also the transition dipole moment between two highly excited atomic states.  相似文献

理论上利用双边费曼图对四波混频过程进行了研究,该方法可直观清晰地展示光与原子相互作用的物理过程。计算了四波混频过程的色散性质。实验上研究了85 Rb原子D2线的四波混频线型,并且对实验结果进行了拟合,两者符合较好。对四波混频线型的研究可加深对四波混频过程的理解,从而促进四波混频过程在量子信息研究中的应用。  相似文献

The non-classical states of light serve as a potential candidate for emerging quantum information process. A processing trend to enhance its scalability is to integrate multiple nonlinear processes with the dressed-state picture into a single device, and therefore, are useful for quantum computations. Here, a novel method is proposed to experimentally achieve the generation of coexisting two pairs of narrow-band biphotons by two four-wave mixing processes in a single hot rubidium vapor cell. Based on the photon-atom nonlinear interfaces, the generated biphotons exhibits genuine entanglement in time–energy. Meanwhile, the nonlinear susceptibility with the dressed-state picture decides the temporal correlation of the biphotons wave packet as a damped periodic Rabi oscillation, suggesting the property of the high-dimensional time–energy entangled state. Such a high-dimensional entangled state also is an efficient way to enhance information carrying capacity. By alternating two nonlinear susceptibilities in a single device, respectively, there exists a competition of the generation rate between such two pairs of biphotons. Moreover, both generated two pairs of biphotons that violate the Cauchy–Schwarz inequality and show their non-classical behavior.  相似文献

The experiment of measuring the spin depolarized time and light storage time in a Rb vapor under different conditions is performed. Typically, these measurements are accomplished in three different containers: atoms in a bare glass cell, atoms in a buffer gas cell, and atoms in a tetracontane (C4oH82) coating cell. The increasing depolarization and storage times are observed in both the buffer gas cell and the tetracontane coating cell. In the latter case, a storage time greater than 400μs is obtained.  相似文献

多波混频是一种重要的非线性光学过程,其在非线性光学和量子信息科学中有重要的应用.本文详细讲述了该领域的进展.在频域中,首先通过电磁诱导透明在实验上得到了共存的四六波混频信号,继而观察到了它们之间伴随着能量交换和时空干涉的相互竞争.此外,两个竞争的四六波混频之间的抑制增强以及相应的AT分裂也被实验证实了.在空间域中,研究了因为两束泵浦光之间干涉导致的电磁诱导光栅,对多波混频信号的空间移动和分裂也进行了讨论,并且得到了带隙孤子,涡旋孤子,有荷偶极孤子,以及二维表面孤子.这些概念可以扩展到量子领域,并且与之相关的一些效应具有研究价值.本文同时也讨论了多波混频在腔量子电动力学中,里德堡态中,以及全固态量子计算中的发展前景以及潜在应用.  相似文献

Two coupled paralnetric four-wave-mixing processes in Rb atoms are studied using perturbation theory, which reveals clear evidence of tile appearance of quantum beat at 608cm^-1, corresponding to the energy difference of the 7s - 5d states of Rb atoms, in the parametric four-wave-mixing signals. A pump-probe technique is utilized to observe the quantum beat. Tinle-varying characteristics of the quantum beat are investigated using time-dependellt Fourier transform. The results show that the time-varying characteistics of the quantum beat not oldy offers a sensitive detecting method for observing the decay of atomic wave packets, but also provides a potential tool for monitoriHg the dissociation of molecules.  相似文献

研究了囚禁于两电介质面间的(A)型三能级原子的双光子Dicke窄化选择反射(TDNSR)光谱.通过对不同膜厚及不同抽运光强度的TDNSR线璎的分析,发现由于蒸气中的原子与电介质表面碰撞的消激发效应和薄蒸气膜中的慢原子效应,以及双光子光谱的消多普勒配置,TDNSR线型在很多情形下表现为亚多普勒结构,且线型随 蒸气膜层的厚度与探测光波长的比值呈周期性变化.当L=2mλ/4(m为正整数)时,TDNSR消失.而当2mλ/4< L<(2m 2)A/4时.线型为典型的色散曲线,且L趋近(2m 1)λ/4时对称性增强.精确调谐强抽运光于能级|2>-|3>的跃迁时,在探测光的共振区域△d=0附近,TDNSR极高的变化率表明探测光具有显著的群速变慢效应.  相似文献

在柱对称条件下,利用耦合的布洛赫-麦克斯韦方程,研究了激光脉冲在原子蒸气介质中的共振传播。考察了脉中在时空中的演化。数值计算结果表明激光脉冲在传播中,由于自感应透明与光波的衍射效应,表现出复杂的相干现象。  相似文献

In this letter, following the proposal of Heurich, et al. [Phys. Rev. A63 (2001) 033605], we analyze and discuss output rate of atomic four-wave mixing in the two-component Bose-Einstein condensate under the condition of the steady state. The results show that the magnitude of the signal beam increases with the increase of the intensity of the probe beam, up to a saturated value, then it decreases as the probe beam increases. The influence of the interaction range on the signal beam is also predicted. In particular, it is worth while pointing out that in contrast to the previous solutions, our obtained analytical solutions are of very simple and explicit forms, which open the door for further investigating the related physical mechanisms.  相似文献

Atomic memory effects occur when the atomic relaxation times are comparable to or much longer than the cavlty relaxation times. We show that by using the memory effects, it is possible to obtain high-frequency Einstein- Podolsky-tlosen entanglement between a pair of Stokes and anti-Stokes fields in a four-wave mixing system. The physical origin is traced to the dynamical Stark splittings of dressed states due to the parametrically amplified fields. This mechanism provides an alternative and efficient way for sideband entanglement.  相似文献

对原子蒸气激光法分离钆同位素中的光电离选择性进行了实验研究.分析了在偏振选择定则基础上分离钆奇数同位素的基本原理;测量了电离路径中总角动量J=2→2→1→0变化时的光电离选择性;观察了光的偏振状态改变时光电离选择性的变化,通过控制光阑的大小观测到杂散光引起的光电离选择性降低;进行了外磁场对光电离选择性的影响实验,基本给出了磁场方向和大小对于光电离选择性的影响程度.在外磁场方向垂直于光束的偏振方向时,很微弱的磁场就能引起光电离选择性的降低,磁场大小在2×10-4T时就看到了明显的选择性变化.当外磁场的方向平行光束的偏振方向时,磁场对于选择性的影响就显得相对很小.  相似文献

采用聚四氟乙烯高压密封消化罐消化品成色剂样品,将消化好的样品转移到10mL容量瓶中,用去离子水定容10mL,摇匀。进样1.0mL于冷原子荧光测定仪的反应瓶中,加入0.2mL10%SnCl2,品成色剂溶液中的微量汞被SnCl2还原成汞蒸汽,汞蒸汽被氩气带入荧光室,产生荧光。此法消解测定时间短,无汞的挥发损失,干扰少,检出限低为(100ng/L),回收率为95.7%—98.0%,重复性好,相对标准偏差为2.6%。  相似文献

Abstract

Several Tl0 (6s26p 1)-type paramagnetic centers, produced by low temperature X-ray irradiation, were observed and studied by electron spin resonance (ESR) in the orthorhombic ferroelectric phase of thallium doped Rb2ZnCl4 crystals. The centers were formed by electron trapping at Tl+ ions localized substitutionally at Rb+ sites. The number and properties of the observed centers account for the tripling of the unit cell in the ferroelectric phase.  相似文献
