A monomial basis and a filtration of subalgebras for the universal enveloping algebra U(gl) of a complex simple Lie algebra gl of type Bl and Cl are given, and the decomposition of the Weyl module V (λ) as a U(gl)-module into a direct sum of Weyl modules V (μ)’s as U(gl-1)modules is described. In particular, a new multiplicity formula for the Weyl module V (λ) is obtained in this note.  相似文献

We explicitly compute the first and second cohomology groups of the Schrdinger algebra S(1) with coefficients in the trivial module and the finite-dimensional irreducible modules.We also show that the first and second cohomology groups of S(1) with coefficients in the universal enveloping algebras U(S(1))(under the adjoint action) are infinite dimensional.  相似文献

The concept of Hall words was first introduced by P. Hall in 1933 in his investigation on groups of prime power order. Then M. Hall in 1950 showed that the Hall words form a basis of a free Lie algebra by using direct construction, that is, first he started with a linear space spanned by Hall words, then defined the Lie product of Hall words and finally checked that the product yields the Lie identities. We show that the support of an irreducible weight module over the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra, which has an infinite-dimensional weight space, coincides with the weight lattice and that all nontrivial weight spaces of such a module are infinite dimensional. As a corollary, we obtain that every irreducible weight module over the twisted Heisenber-Virasoro algebra, having a nontrivial finite-dimensional weight space, is a Harish-Chandra module (and hence is either an irreducible highest or lowest weight module or an irreducible module from the intermediate series).  相似文献

It is shown that the support of an irreducible weight module over the SchrSdinger-Virasoro Lie algebra with an infinite-dimensional weight space coincides with the weight lattice, and all nontrivial weight spaces of such a module are infinite-dimensional. As a by-product, it is obtained that every simple weight module over Lie algebra of this type with a nontrivial finite-dimensional weight space is a Harish-Chandra module.  相似文献

We know that in Ringel–Hall algebra of Dynkin type, the set of all skew commutator relations between the iso-classes of indecomposable modules forms a minimal Gr?bner–Shirshov basis,and the corresponding irreducible elements forms a PBW type basis of the Ringel–Hall algebra. We aim to generalize this result to the derived Hall algebra DH(A_n) of type A_n. First, we compute all skew commutator relations between the iso-classes of indecomposable objects in the bounded derived category D~b(A_n) using the Auslander–Reiten quiver of D~b(A_n), and then we prove that all possible compositions between these skew commutator relations are trivial. A two-parameter quantum group is obtained from the usual enveloping algebra by adding two commutative grouplike elements. In this paper, we generalize this procession further by adding commutative grouplike elements b_(ik), c_(ik), g_(ik), h_(ik)(i ∈I, k = 1,..., mi) of a Hopf algebra H to the quantized enveloping algebra U_q(G) of a Borcherds superalgebra G defined by a symmetrizable integral Borcherds–Cartan matrix A =(aij)i,j∈I. Therefore, we define an extended Hopf superalgebra HU_q(G). We also discuss the basis and the grouplike elements of HU_q(G).  相似文献

In this paper we extend the theory of Grbner bases to difference-differential modules and present a new algorithmic approach for computing the Hilbert function of a finitely generated difference-differential module equipped with the natural filtration. We present and verify algorithms for construct-ing these Grbner bases counterparts. To this aim we introduce the concept of "generalized term order" on Nm ×Zn and on difference-differential modules. Using Grbner bases on difference-differential mod-ules we present a direct and algorithmic approach to computing the difference-differential dimension polynomials of a difference-differential module and of a system of linear partial difference-differential equations.  相似文献

The complex Lie algebra, which is attached to the unit form q(x1, x2,..., xn)■ and defined by generators and generalized Serre relations, is proved to be a finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra of type Dn, and realized by the Ringel-Hall Lie algebra of a Nakayama algebra. Let g be the finite dimensional simple Lie algebra of type A_n, and let U = U_q(g,Λ)and U= U_q(g,Q)be the quantum groups defined over the weight lattice and over the root lattice, respectively. In this paper, we find two algebraically independent central elements in U for all n ≥ 2 and give an explicit formula of the Casimir elements for the quantum group U = U_q(g,Λ), which corresponds to the Casimir element of the enveloping algebra U(g). This paper gives the structure of the homology of the Witt algebra and the Virasoro algebra with coeffieionts in a Verma module. Let s_k=(3k^2+k)/2, t_k=(3k^2—k)/2,k\in Z_+, and P={—s_k,-t_k|k\in Z_+}. Then the author obtains the homology of the Witt algebra with coefficients in an irreducible module L(\Lambda) with highest weight \Lambda \notin P, and the homology of the Virasoro algebra with coefficients in some irreducible modules.  相似文献

The conformal transformations with respect to the metric defining the orthogonal Lie algebra o(n, C)give rise to a one-parameter(c) family of inhomogeneous first-order differential operator representations of the orthogonal Lie algebra o(n + 2, C). Letting these operators act on the space of exponential-polynomial functions that depend on a parametric vector a ∈ Cn, we prove that the space forms an irreducible o(n + 2, C)-module for any c ∈ C if a is not on a certain hypersurface. By partially swapping differential operators and multiplication operators, we obtain more general differential operator representations of o(n+2, C) on the polynomial algebra C in n variables. Moreover, we prove that C forms an infinite-dimensional irreducible weight o(n + 2, C)-module with finite-dimensional weight subspaces if c ∈ Z/2.  相似文献

We give a Grobner-Shirshov basis of quantum group of type F4 by using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach. We compute all skew-commutator relations between the isoclasses of indecomposable representations of Ringel- Hall algebras of type F4 by using an 'inductive' method. Precisely, we do not use the traditional way of computing the skew-commutative relations, that is first compute all Hall polynomials then compute the corresponding skew- commutator relations; instead, we compute the 'easier' skew-commutator relations which correspond to those exact sequences with middle term indecomposable or the split exact sequences first, then 'deduce' others from these 'easier' ones and this in turn gives Hall polynomials as a byproduct. Then using the composition-diamond lemma prove that the set of these relations constitute a minimal CrSbner-Shirshov basis of the positive part of the quantum group of type F4. Dually, we get a Grobner-Shirshov basis of the negative part of the quantum group of type F4. And finally, we give a Gr6bner-Shirshov basis for the whole quantum group of type F4.  相似文献

This paper gives the concepts of finite dimensional irreducible operators((FDI) operators)and infinite dimensional irreducible operators((IDI) operators). Discusses the relationships of(FDI)operators,(IDI) operators and strongly irreducible operators((SI) operators) and illustrates some properties of the three classes of operators. Some sufficient conditions for the finite-dimensional irreducibility of operators which have the forms of upper triangular operator matrices are given. This paper proves that every operator with a singleton spectrum is a small compact perturbation of an(FDI) operator on separable Banach spaces and shows that every bounded linear operator T can be approximated by operators in(Σ FDI)(X) with respect to the strong-operator topology and every compact operator K can be approximated by operators in(Σ FDI)(X) with respect to the norm topology on a Banach space X with a Schauder basis, where(ΣFDI)(X) := {T∈B(X) : T=Σki=1Ti, Ti ∈(FDI), k ∈ N}.  相似文献
