The thin films containing transition metal complex tris(1,10‐phenanthroline) ruthenium(II) Ru(phen)3Cl2 (abbr Ru(phen)3, phen=1,10‐phenanthroline), and 12‐molybdophosphoric acid [PMo12O40]3? (abbr PMo12) were fabricated on quartz, silicon and ITO substrates by layer‐by‐layer (LBL) method. The LBL films were characterized by the UV‐vis spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The films can catalyze both the reduction of ClO , BrO , IO , and the oxidation of C2O due to the presence of bifunctional composite, and the redox potentials depend on pH as a result of protonation. The photoluminescence of films were also investigated. The films exhibited photoluminescence arising from π*–t2g ligand‐to‐metal transition of Ru(phen)3.  相似文献

The transition metal-substituted heteropolyoxoanion, Cd4(H2O)2(As2W15O56)212− (As4W30Cd4), is one of the trivacant Dawson derivatives. Its redox electrochemistry has been studied in acid buffer solutions using cyclic voltammetry. It exhibited three steps of four-electron redox waves attributed to redox processes of the tungsten-oxo framework. Through layer-by-layer assembly, the compound was first successfully immobilized on a 4-aminobenzoic acid modified glassy carbon electrode surface by alternate deposition with a quaternized poly(4-vinylpyridine) partially complexed with [Os(bpy)2Cl]2+/+ (denoted as QPVP-Os). Thus, prepared multilayer films have been characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and UV-vis spectroscopy (UV-vis). The electrocatalytic activities of the multilayer films containing As4W30Cd4 have been investigated on the reduction of three substrates of important analytical interests, NO2, BrO3 and IO3. And with the increase of the number of As4W30Cd4 layers, the catalytic current towards the reduction of BrO3 was enhanced and the catalytic potential shifted positively.  相似文献

A series of ruthenium (II) complexes, [Ru(bpy)2L]X2 (L = L1, L2; X = Cl, PF6, SCN), were synthesized based on bipyridine and two novel diimine ligands L1 and L2 (L1 = 1-(4-5′-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazolylphenyl)-2-pyridinyl-benzoimidazole, L2 = 1-(4-carbazolylphenyl)-2-pyridinylbenzimidazole); and the crystal structure of [Ru(bpy)2L1]Cl2 was also described. [Ru(bpy)2(Pybm)]X2 (Pybm = 2-(2-pyridine)benzimidazole) complexes were also prepared as reference samples. In the UV-vis absorption spectra there are one strong π → π* transition and two dπ (Ru) → π* transitions. By comparisons of photoluminescence properties between [Ru(bpy)2L]X (L = L1, L2) and the reference complexes we find that the complexes with carrier-transporting groups of carbazole and oxadizole have the higher emission intensity and quantum efficiency. One reversible oxidation process in the range 0.80-1.00 V exists in each of the complexes which is assigned to the metal oxidation, [Ru(III)(bpy)2L]2+ + e?[Ru(II)(bpy)2L]+.  相似文献

Tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) has been successfully immobilized onto electrode through the electrodeposition of Ru(bpy)32+/AuNPs/chitosan composite film. In the experiments, chitosan solution was first mixed with Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) and Ru(bpy)32+. Then, during chronopotentiometry experiments in this mixed solution, a porous 3D network structured film containing Ru(bpy)32+, AuNPs and chitosan has been electrodeposited onto cathode due to the deposition of chitosan when pH value is over its pKa (6.3). The applied current density is crucial to the film thickness and the amount of the entrapped Ru(bpy)32+. Additionally, these doping Ru(bpy)32+ in the composite film maintained their intrinsic electrochemical and electrochemiluminescence activities. Consequently, this Ru(bpy)32+/AuNPs/chitosan modified electrode has been used in ECL to detect tripropylamine, and the detection limit was 5 × 10−10 M.  相似文献

The multilayer films containing tris(1,10-phenanthroline) ruthenium(II) Ru(phen)3Cl2 (abbr. Ru(phen)3, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) and polyoxometalate [P2W18O62]6− (abbr. P2W18) through a layer-by-layer (LBL) process were fabricated. UV–vis absorption spectra showed that the subsequent growth of the multilayer film was regular and highly reproducible from layer to layer. X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) confirmed the incorporation of Ru(phen)3 and P2W18 into the film. The result of atomic force microscopy (AFM) revealed a relatively uniform surface morphology of the multilayer film. The multilayer film exhibited remarkable electrocatalytic activities toward the reduction of \textIO3 - {\text{IO}}_{3}^{ - } and the oxidation to l-cysteine. The value of I pc was as a function with the concentration of iodate and l-cysteine, which indicated that the film can be a candidate for bifunctional electrocatalyst and electrochemical sensor.  相似文献

Summary: Electrochemical reactions of Ruthenium purple, Feequation/tex2gif-stack-1.gif[RuII(CN)6]3 (RP; FeIII-RuII) were studied using a spectrocyclic voltammetry (SCV) technique. The SCV measurement for an RP film coated on an ITO electrode showed a reversible redox between RP and Ruthenium white (RW; FeII-RuII) at 0.14 V vs saturated calomel reference electrode (SCE). An RP film was electrodeposited on a hybrid film of tungsten trioxide (WO3)/tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium(II) ([Ru(bpy)3]2+; bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine)/poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) (denoted as WRP film) from a colloidal solution containing 0.5 mM FeCl3, 0.5 mM K4[Ru(CN)6] and 40 mM KCl using a potentiodynamic multi-sweep technique. In a cyclic voltammogram (CV) of a WRP/RP film, a redox response was observed at 0.61 V in addition to essential redox responses of WRP hybrid film (a [Ru(bpy)3]2+/[Ru(bpy)3]3+ redox at 1.03 V and a HxWO3/WO3 redox below 0.09 V), but a redox response of RW/RP was not observed at 0.14 V. The SCV measurement for the WRP/RP film suggested that the redox response at 0.61 V is attributed to a redox of [Ru(bpy)3]2+/[Ru(bpy)3]3+ interacted electrostatically with RP. It also showed that RW is oxidized to RP via [Ru(bpy)3]2+/[Ru(bpy)3]3+ redox and RP is reversibly reduced to RW via HxWO3/WO3 redox. This unique geared electrochemical reaction for the WRP/RP film leads to a hysteresis property of an RW/RP redox.  相似文献

It has been confirmed that octasulfonatocalix[8]arene (Calx-S8) and tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium (II) (Ru(bpy)32+) can form a stable host-guest complex in aqueous solution. The binding constant for 1:1 [Calx-S88−·Ru(bpy)32+]6− complex formation was estimated to be (2.4±0.8)×104 dm3 mol−1 by fluorescence titration, which indicates that the [Calx-S88−·Ru(bpy)32+]6− complex is the main species in 1:1 molar ratio aqueous solution of Calx-S8 and Ru(bpy)32+. In situ UV-Vis spectroscopic measurements indicated that Ru(bpy)32+ complexes can be readily deposited onto ITO electrode through electrochemical polymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) using [Calx-S88−·Ru(bpy)32+]6− host-guest complex as a dopant anion owing to the electrostatic interaction between the cationic conductive polymer and the anionic host-guest complex. The loading degree of the composite film with Ru(bpy)32+ can be determined by Lambert-Beer law modified for the two-dimensional concentration. The obtained composite film showed good photoelectric conversion properties in response to visible light irradiation. This is a novel photocurrent generation system in which the photoexcited state energy is efficiently collected by the conductive polymeric layer.  相似文献

A novel nanosized biological active multilayer film composed of polyoxometalate (POM) anion α-[SiW11O39Co(H2PO4)]7−(abbr. SiW11Co-PO4) and poly(diallyldi methylammonium chloride) (abbr. PDDA) was fabricated by layer-by-layer self-assembly (LBL). The composition and growth processes of the films have been determined by X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) and ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra (UV). The composite film was formed by the alternate adsorption of SiW11Co-PO4 and PDDA, and the deposition process was quantitative and highly reproducible from layer to layer. The morphology of the film was studied by atomic force microscopy (AFM), which showed that the film was relatively uniform and smooth, and POM anions aggregated into nanoclusters distributing on the surface uniformly. The film exhibited favorable electrochemical behavior of POM indicated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The film can immobilize the DNA molecules via Mg2+-bridging medium.  相似文献

Electrogenerated chemiluminescences (ECLs) of alkaloids, such as berberine, trigonelline, allantoin and betaine, were studied in an aqueous alkaline buffer solution (pH 9.5), based on tris(2,2′-bipyridine)ruthenium(II) [Ru(bpy)32+] immobilized in organically modified silicates (ORMOSILs) film on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The immobilized Ru(bpy)32+ showed good electrochemical and photochemical activities. In a flow system, the eluted alkaloids were oxidized on the modified GCE, and reacted with immobilized Ru(bpy)32+ at the potential of +1.50 V (versus Ag/AgCl). The luminescence with λmax 610 nm was caused by a reaction of electrolytically formed Ru(bpy)33+ with an oxidized amine group to generate Ru(bpy)32+*. The determination limit was 5 × 10−6 mol L−1, 8 × 10−6 mol L−1, 2.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 and 5.0 × 10−5 mol L−1 for berberine, trigonelline, allantoin and betaine at S/N 3, respectively. In addition, the factors affecting the determination of the four alkaloids were also studied.  相似文献

A new strategy was introduced for ssDNA immobilization on a modified glassy carbon electrode. The electrode surface was modified using polyaniline and chemically reduced graphene oxide decorated cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2NPs-RGO). A single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) probe was immobilized on the modified electrode surface. Fast Fourier transform square wave voltammetry (FFT-SWV) was applied as detection technique and [Ru(bpy)3]2+/3+ redox signal was used as electrochemical marker. The hybridization of ssDNA with its complementary target caused a dramatic decrease in [Ru(bpy)3]2+/3+ FFT-SW signal. The proposed electrochemical biosensor was able to detect Aeromonas hydrophila DNA oligonucleotide sequence encoding aerolysin protein. Under optimal conditions, the biosensor showed excellent selectivity toward complementary sequence in comparison with noncomplementary and two-base mismatch sequences. The dynamic linear range of this electrochemical DNA biosensor for detecting 20-mer oligonucleotide sequence of A. hydrophila was from 1 × 10−15 to 1 × 10−8 mol L−1. The proposed biosensor was successfully applied for the detection of DNA extracted from A. hydrophila in fish pond water up to 0.01 μg mL−1 with RSD of 5%. Besides, molecular docking was applied to consider the [Ru(bpy)3]2+/3+ interaction with ssDNA before and after hybridization.  相似文献

{Os(bpy)2}2+ and {Ru(CN)4}2− mononuclear and binuclear complexes with ligands 2,3-di-(2-pyridyl)quinoxaline (dpq) and dipyrido[2,3-a:3′,2′-c]phenazine (ppb) have been prepared. For the binuclear complexes a splitting in oxidation potentials is observed consistent with the formation of mixed-valence species with comproportionation constants (Kcom) ranging from 2.5 × 104 to 1.8 × 106. The electronic absorption spectra of the mixed-valence species reveal IVCT transitions in the near infrared region. The absorption maximum for the IVCT band ranges from 5800 to 9980 cm−1 and the extinction coefficients from 80 to 6300 M−1 cm−1. In general the {Os(bpy)2}2+ complexes show larger Kcom values and more intense IVCT bands than the corresponding {Ru(CN)4}2− complexes.  相似文献

On the basis of the formation and pre-concentration of an α-Keggin-type [PMo12O40]3− complex, a novel voltammetric method was developed for the determination of trace levels of P(V). The α-[PMo12O40]3− complex was formed by heating a 5×10−4 M Mo(VI)-0.2 M HCl-40% (v/v) CH3CN system containing a trace amount of P(V) at 70 °C for 30 min. During the electrochemical polymerization of pyrrole in the α-[PMo12O40]3− solution, the α-[PMo12O40]3− complex was accumulated into the polypyrrole film on a glassy carbon electrode. The differential pulse voltammetric peak current due to the α-[PMo12O40]3− complex incorporated in the polypyrrole film was linearly dependent on the P(V) concentration in the range of 5×10−9-5×10−7 M; a detection limit of 2×10−9 M was achieved.  相似文献

Adrenaline was found to inhibit strongly the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) from the Ru(bpy)32+/tripropylamine system when a working Pt electrode was maintained at 1.05 V (versus Ag/AgCl) in pH 8.0 phosphate buffer. On this basis, a flow injection (FI) procedure with inhibited electrochemiluminescence detection has been developed for determination of adrenaline. The method exhibited a good reproducibility, sensitivity, and stability with a detection limit (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) of 7.0×10−9 mol l−1 and dynamic concentration range of 2×10−8 to 1×10−4 mol l−1. The relative standard deviation was 2.2% for 1.0×10−6 mol l−1 adrenaline (n=11). The method was successfully applied to the determination of adrenaline in pharmaceutical samples. Moreover, ECL emission spectra, UV-Vis absorption spectra and cyclic voltammograms of Ru(bpy)32+/tripropylamine/adrenaline were studied. The inhibition mechanism has been proposed as the interaction of electrogenerated Ru(bpy)32+* and the o-benzoquinone derivatives, adrenochrome and adrenalinequinone, at the electrode surface.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) sensor was constructed to determine herring sperm (HS) double-stranded (ds) DNA. Tetramethoxysilane and dimethyldimethoxysilane were selected as co-precursors to form an organically modified silicate (ORMOSIL) film for the immobilization of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) wrapped by poly(p-styrenesulfonate) (PSS), and then Tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) was successfully immobilized on a glassy carbon electrode via ion-association. PSS was employed to increase the conductivity of the ORMOSIL film and disperse the cut MWNTs, which were cut and shortened in a mixture of concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids, in the film. It was found that MWNTs could adsorb Ru(bpy)32+ and acted as conducting pathways to connect Ru(bpy)32+ sites to the electrode. MWNTs also played a key role as materials for the mechanical and thermal properties. The ECL performance of this modified electrode was evaluated in a flow injection analysis (FIA) system, and the detection limit (S/N = 3) for HS ds-DNA was 2.0 × 10−7 g mL−1 with a linear range from 1.34 × 10−6 to 6.67 × 10−4 g mL−1 (R2 = 0.9876). In addition, the ECL sensor presented excellent characteristics in terms of stability, reproducibility and application life.  相似文献

A novel method for immobilization of tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)3Cl2) on electrode surfaces based on the vapor-surface sol-gel deposition strategy is first demonstrated in this paper. Ru(bpy)3Cl2 immobilized sol-gel (Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel) films were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and field-emitted scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). These results showed that Ru(bpy)3Cl2 was successfully incorporated into the silica sol-gel film. It was found that many irregular Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel clusters were formed on surfaces through one deposition and thick sol-gel films were observed after further deposition. Electrochemical properties and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) behaviors of Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel films could be easily adjusted by deposition numbers and time. At last, the Ru(bpy)3Cl2/sol-gel film modified electrode was used for solid-state ECL detection of tripropylamine. The linear range was from 5.8 × 10−8 to 2.4 × 10−4 M with the detection limit of 5 nM, which was three orders of magnitude lower than that from pure Nafion-modified electrodes. The ECL sensor also exhibited high stability, and still remained 92% response after being stored in air for 35 days. This method for immobilization of Ru(bpy)3Cl2 is simple, convenient and low-cost relative to others, so it shows promising applications in solid-state ECL detection.  相似文献

An amperometric choline biosensor was developed by immobilizing choline oxidase (ChOx) in a layer-by-layer (LBL) multilayer film on a platinum (Pt) electrode modified with Prussian blue (PB). 6-O-Ethoxytrimethylammoniochitosan chloride (EACC) was used to prepare the ChOx LBL films. The choline biosensor was used at 0.0 V versus Ag/AgCl to detect choline and exhibited good characteristics such as relative low detection limit (5 × 10−7 M), short response time (within 10 s), high sensitivity (88.6 μA mM−1 cm−2) and a good selectivity. The results were explained based on the ultrathin nature of the LBL films and the low operating potential that could be due to the efficient catalytic reduction of H2O2 by PB. In addition, the effects of pH, temperature and applied potential on the amperometric response of choline biosensor were evaluated. The apparent Michaelis-Menten constant was found to be (0.083 ± 0.001) ×10−3 M. The biosensor showed excellent long-term storage stability, which originates from a strong adsorption of ChOx in the EACC multilayer film. When the present choline biosensor was applied to the analysis of phosphatidylcholine in serum samples, the measurement values agreed satisfactorily with those by a hospital method.  相似文献

Au nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized in the one-pot procedure in water at room temperature with the wheel-shaped VV-VIV mixed-valence tungstovanadate [P8W48O184{V4VV2IVO12(H2O)2}2]32− (V12) acting as both reducing and stabilizing agents. The V12 stabilized Au NPs (Au@V12 NPs) were characterized by SEM, TEM, DLS, UV-vis spectroscopy, XPS, and XRD analyses and the negatively charged surface of the Au@V12 NPs was proved by the zeta potential analysis. Based on the layer-by-layer assembly (LbL), the Au@V12 NPs-containing multilayer films have been fabricated on ITO-coated glass slide and quartz substrates with poly(ethyleneimine) (PEI). The regular growth of the multilayer films was monitored by UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry, the composition was characterized by XPS. The Au@V12 NPs based composite films showed electrocatalytic activities towards the reduction of dioxygen and the oxidation of methanol. This approach is expected to open the way towards procedures aimed at the one-step fabrication of Au NPs and polyoxometalates (POMs) into the multilayer films.  相似文献

Inhibited Ru(bpy)32+ electrochemiluminescence by inorganic oxidants is investigated. Results showed that a number of inorganic oxidants can quench the ECL of Ru(bpy)32+/tri-n-propylamine (TPrA) system, and the logarithm of the decrease in ECL intensity (ΔI) was proportional to the logarithm of analyte concentrations. Based on which, a sensitive approach for detection of these inorganic oxidants was established, e.g. the log-log plots of ΔI versus the concentration of MnO4, Cr2O72− and Fe(CN)63− are linear in the range of 1 × 10−7 to 3 × 10−4 M for MnO4 and Cr2O72−, and 1 × 10−7 to 1 × 10−4 M for Fe(CN)63−, with the limit of detection (LOD) of 8.0 × 10−8 M, 2 × 10−8 M, and 1 × 10−8 M, respectively. A series of experiments such as a comparison of the inhibitory effect of different compounds on Ru(bpy)32+/TPrA ECL, ECL emission spectra, UV-Vis absorption spectra etc. were investigated in order to discover how these inorganic analytes quench the ECL of Ru(bpy)32+/TPrA system. A mechanism based on consumption of TPrA intermediate (TPrA·) by inorganic oxidants was proposed.  相似文献

An effective method for immobilization of Ru(bpy)32+ on glassy carbon electrode surface (GCE) is developed for the preparation of a novel electrochemiluminescence sensor. First of all, the positively charged Ru(bpy)32+ is modified on the surface of negatively charged gold nanoparticles (nano-Au) via the electrostatic interactions to obtain the Ru(bpy)32+/nano-Au nano-sphere (abbreviate as Ru-AuNPs). Subsequently, the large amount of Ru-AuNPs are immobilized on the multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)-Nafion homogeneous composite coated GCE by dual interaction: firstly, the Nafion, a kind of typical cation-exchange membrane, can absorb the Ru-AuNPs as the enrichment of cation Ru(bpy)32+ on the Ru-AuNPs surface; secondly, the employment of carboxylic MWCNTs in the Nafion film can also chemosorb the Ru(bpy)32+ cation on the Ru-AuNPs surface to increase the carrier content. At the same time, the experiment confirms that the enhancement of the ECL intensity on the sensor is attributed to following reasons. One hand, the employment of MWCNTs in the Nafion film enlarged the electro-active surface areas to benefit the contact between the signal probe on the composite film and coreactant used as reinforcing agent. On the other hand, the nano-materials of MWCNTs and nano-Au also improve the conductivity of the assembled film to increase the quantity of excited state of Ru(bpy)32+ in the unit time under the electrochemical condition and finally cause better properties in luminescence. In the experiment, the influence of the coreactant tripropylamine (TPA) on proposed ECL sensor is investigated. The logarithm of ECL intensity is proportional to the logarithm of TPA concentration on the range of 4 × 10−10 M to 2.8 × 10−6 M and 2.8 × 10−6 M to 0.71 × 10−3 M. After optimizing these conditions, the ECL sensor with TPA as coreactant is employed to detect a kind of alkaloid medicine, Matrine, for evaluating the practical application in the medicine analysis. The present sensor with TPA as coreactant shows the good response to the medicine concentration of the Matrine from 2.0 × 10−6 M to 6.0 × 10−3 M, which is used to detect the Matrine concentration in the Matrine injection.  相似文献

In order to solidify the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) luminophor tris(2,2′-bipyridyl) ruthenium(II) ([Ru(bpy)3]2+) onto the electrode surfaces robustly, the negative charged heteropolyacids (HPAs) moieties were utilized to attract and bond cations [Ru(bpy)3]2+ via an adsorption method. The compositions and microstructures of the hybrid complexes were characterized by elemental analysis (EDS), spectroscopic techniques (UV-vis, FTIR) and field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The electrochemical and ECL behaviors of the [Ru(bpy)3]2+/[PW12O40]3− hybrid complex contained in the solid film of the nanocomposites formed on the electrode surfaces were also studied. It was found that the corresponding solid membranes exhibited a diffusion-controlled voltammetric feature and excellent electrochemiluminescence behaviors. Hence potential prospects as new electrochemiluminescent materials for application in electroanalytical detection are envisioned.  相似文献
