Nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR and 19F NMR) measurements performed at 90-295 K, inelastic incoherent neutron scattering (IINS) spectra and neutron powder diffraction (NPD) patterns registered at 22-190 K, and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) measurements performed at 86-293 K, provided evidence that the crystal of [Zn(NH3)4](BF4)2 has four solid phases. The phase transitions occurring at: TC3=101 K, TC2=117 K and TC1=178 K, as were detected earlier by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), were connected on one hand only with an insignificant change in the crystal structure and on the other hand with a drastic change in the speed of the anisotropic, uniaxial reorientational motions of the NH3 ligands and BF4 anions (at TC3 and at TC2) and with the dynamical orientational order-disorder process (“tumbling”) of tetrahedral [Zn(NH3)4]2+ and BF4 ions (at TC1). The crystal structure of [Zn(NH3)4](BF4)2 at room temperature was determined by XRPD as orthorhombic, space group Pnma (No. 62), a=10.523 Å, b=7.892 Å, c=13.354 Å and Z=4. Unfortunately, it was not possible to determine the structure of the intermediate and the low-temperature phase. However, we registered the change of the lattice parameters and unit cell volume as a function of temperature and we can observe only a small deviation from near linear dependence of these parameters upon temperature in the vicinity of the TC1 phase transition.  相似文献

[Ni(ND3)6](ClO4)2 has three solid phases between 100 and 300 K. The phase transitions temperatures at heating (TC1h=164.1 K and TC2h=145.1 K) are shifted, as compared to the non-deuterated compound, towards the lower temperature of ca. 8 and 5 K, respectively. The ClO4 anions perform fast, picosecond, isotropic reorientation with the activation energy of 6.6 kJ mol−1, which abruptly slow down at TC1c phase transition, during sample cooling. The ND3 ligands perform fast uniaxial reorientation around the Ni-N bond in all three detected phases, with the effective activation energy of 2.9 kJ mol−1. The reorientational motion of ND3 is only slightly distorted at the TC1 phase transition due to the dynamical orientational order-disorder process of anions. The low value of the activation energy for the ND3 reorientation suggests that this reorientation undergoes the translation-rotation coupling, which makes the barrier to the rotation of the ammonia ligands not constant but fluctuating. The phase polymorphism and the dynamics of the molecular reorientations of the title compound are similar but not quite identical with these of the [Ni(NH3)6](ClO4)2.  相似文献

Four solid phases of [Zn(DMSO)6](ClO4)2 have been detected by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Specifically, the phase transitions were detected between: metastable phase KII ↔ supercooled phase K0 at , stable phase KIb ↔ stable phase KIa at , stable phase KIa ↔ stable phase K0 at . At Tm2 = 389 K crystals partially and at Tm1 = 465 K completely melts. From the entropy change values it was concluded that the phases: K0 and K0′ are the orientationally dynamically disordered phases, so called ODDIC crystals, and phases KIa, KIb and metastable KII are dynamically ordered but with some degree of positional disorder.  相似文献

The tetrafluoroborate of hexadimethylsulfoxidenickel(II) was synthesized and studied by differential scanning calorimetry. Seven solid phases of [Ni(DMSO)6](BF4)2 were revealed. Specifically, six phase transitions of the first order were detected between the following solid phases: stable KIb → stable KIa at T C6 = 335 K, metastable KIIb → metastable KIIa at T C5 = 368 K, metastable KIII → overcooled phase KI at T C4 = 378 K, metastable KIIa → overcooled phase KI at T C3 = 396 K, stable KIa → stable KI at T C2 = 415 K and stable KI → stable K0 at T C1 = 433 K. [Ni(DMSO)6](BF4)2 begins decomposition at 440 K with loss of one DMSO molecule per formula unit forming [Ni(DMSO)5](BF4)2 (phase L0) which melts next in two steps in the temperature range 550–593 K. From the entropy changes connected both with melting and with phase transitions, it can be concluded that phases KI, overcooled KI and K0 are orientationally dynamically disordered (ODIC) crystals. Stable phases KIb, KIa and metastable phase KIII are ordered solid phases. Metastable phase KIIa and metastable phase KIIb are more or less ordered solid phases.  相似文献

Molecular structure, ionic mobility and phase transitions in six- and seven-coordinated ammonium oxofluoroniobates (NH4)2NbOF5 and (NH4)3NbOF6 were studied by 19F, 1H NMR and DFT calculations. Equatorial fluorine atoms (Feq) in [NbOF5]2− and [NbOF6]3− are characterized by high 19F NMR chemical shifts while axial fluorine atoms (Fax) have those essentially lower. The high-temperature ionic mobility in (NH4)2NbOF5 does not stimulate the ligand exchange Feq ↔ Fax, whereas it is observed in (NH4)3NbOF6 as pseudorotation typical for seven-coordinated polyhedra. The transformation of pentagonal bipyramidal structure (BP) of [NbOF6]3− into capped trigonal prismatic (CTP) one takes place during the phase transition (PT) at 260 K. The PT of order-disorder type in (NH4)2NbOF5 is accompanied by transition of anionic sublattice to a rigid state. The 19F and 1H NMR data corroborate the independent motions of NH4 groups and anionic polyhedra in (NH4)2NbOF5 while they are coordinated in (NH4)3NbOF6.  相似文献

Cadmium(II) complexes of 3-hydroxypicolinic acid, namely [CdI(3-OHpic)(3-OHpicH)(H2O)]2 (1), [Cd(3-OHpic)2(H2O)2] (2) and [Cd(3-OHpic)2]n (3) were prepared and characterized by spectroscopic methods (IR, NMR) and their molecular and crystal structures were determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis. Complexes 1 and 2 were prepared in similar reaction conditions using different cadmium(II) salts: cadmium(II) iodide and cadmium(II) acetate dihydrate, respectively, while 3 was prepared by recrystallization of 2 from N,N-dimethylformamide solution. Various coordination modes of 3-OHpicH in 13 were established in the solid state: bidentate N,O-chelated mode in 1 and 2, monodentate mode through the carboxylate O atom from zwitterionic ligand in 1 and bidentate N,O-chelated and bridging mode in 3. In the DMF solution of all prepared complexes, only monodentate mode of 3-OHpicH binding to cadmium(II) through the carboxylate O atom was established by 1H, 13C, 15N and 113Cd NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The synthesis and study (single crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry, IR- and NMR-spectroscopy) of a novel fluorozirconate LiK10Zr6F35·2H2O was performed. The structure of the compound is built from infinite chains [Zr6F35]11−, in which Zr-polyhedra are linked to each other through common edges and vertices. The chains are surrounded by K and Li cations and H2O molecules. The compound dehydration occurs in the temperature range 453–543 K with maximal rate at 528 K. It was established that zirconium polyhedra chain fragments underwent reorientational motion starting to influence 19F NMR spectra at temperatures higher than 270 and 180 K in LiK10Zr6F35·2H2O and LiK10Zr6F35, respectively. Above 450–420 K all fluorine sites in both samples participate in fluorine translational diffusion by at least two diffusion paths. Isotropic 19F NMR chemical shifts from different site types were detected by MAS NMR in the range 125–171 ppm.  相似文献

The two-stage melting process and the thermal decomposition of [Ni(H2O)6](NO3)2 was studied by DSC, DTA and TG. The first melting point at 328 K is connected with the small and the second melting point at 362 K with the large enthalpy and entropy changes. The thermal dehydration process starts just above ca. 315 K and continues up to ca. 500 K. It consists of three well-separated stages, but the sample mass loss at each stage depends on the experimental regime. However, irrespective of the chosen regime, the total of registered mass losses in stage one and two amounts to three H2O molecules per one [Ni(H2O)6](NO3)2 molecule. The remaining three H2O molecules are gradually freed in the temperature range of 440–500 K in the third stage of the dehydration. Above 580 K, anhydrous Ni(NO3)2 decomposes into NO and NiO. The gaseous products were identified by quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS), and the solid product was identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis.  相似文献

Two solid-state coordination compounds of rare earth metals with glycin, [Gd4/3Y2/3(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O and [ErY(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O were synthesized. The low-temperature heat capacities of the two coordination compounds were measured with an adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from 78 to 376 K. [Gd4/3Y2/3(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O melted at 342.90 K, while [ErY(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O melted at 328.79 K. The molar enthalpy and entropy of fusion for the two coordination compounds were determined to be 18.48 kJ mol−1 and 53.9 J K−1 mol−1 for [Gd4/3Y2/3(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O, 1.82 kJ mol−1 and 5.5 J K−1 mol−1 for [ErY(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O, respectively. Thermal decompositions of the two coordination compounds were studied through the thermogravimetry (TG). Possible mechanisms of the decompositions are discussed.  相似文献

This study presents for the first time an NMR spectroscopic characterization of the room and high temperature phases of (NH4)3InF6 using 19F and 115In as probe nuclei. The reversible phase transition to the cubic phase at 353 K was followed by MAS NMR in situ. Static NMR experiments of the room temperature phase and MAS NMR experiments of the high temperature phase allowed the determination of the NMR parameters of both nuclei. Finally, the scalar In-F coupling, rarely observed in solid state NMR, is evidenced in both room and high temperature phases of (NH4)3InF6, and measured in the high temperature phase.  相似文献

The ionic mobility in the temperature interval 180 to 480 K, structure, and electrophysical properties of rubidium-ammonium hexafluorozirconates Rb2−x (NH4) x ZrF6 (1.5 ≤ x ≤ 2.0) are studied by methods of the 19F, 1H NMR spectroscopy, x-ray structure analysis, differential thermal analysis, and impedance spectroscopy. Correlations between the composition of the cationic sublattice, the character of ionic motions, and the phase transition temperature (of the type order-disorder) are established in these compounds. The salient feature of the high-temperature modifications of these fluorozirconates with x ≥ 1.5 is the translation diffusion of ions inside the fluoride and ammonium sublattices and the 19F NMR spectra are characterized by monoaxial anisotropy of the magnetic shielding tensor of the fluorine nuclei. Fluorozirconates with x > 1.5 are shown to belong with the structural type (NH4)2ZrF6. The rubidium cations isomorphically replace the ammonium cations. The electrophysical characteristics of the compounds are examined in the temperature interval 300 to 480 K. It is established that the electroconductivity of these compounds increases with x. The salt, [N(CH3)4][IO2F2], was prepared from [N(CH3)4][IO3] and 49% aqueous HF, and characterized by Raman, infrared, and 19F NMR spectroscopy. Crystals of [N(CH3)4]2[IO2F2][HF2] were obtained by reduction of [N(CH3)4][cis-IO2F4] in the presence of [N(CH3)4][F] in CH3CN solvent and were characterized by Raman spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction: C2/m, a = 14.6765(2) Å, b = 8.60490(10) Å, c = 13.9572(2) Å, β = 120.2040(10)°, V = 1523.35(3) Å3, Z = 4 and R = 0.0192 at 210 K. The crystal structure consists of two IO2F2 anions that are symmetrically bridged by two HF2 anions, forming a [F2O2I(FHF)2IO2F2]4− dimer. The symmetric bridging coordination for the HF2 anion in this structure represents a new bonding modality for the bifluoride anion.  相似文献

Rare-earth perchlorate complex coordinated with glycine [Nd2(Gly)6(H2O)4](ClO4)6·5H2O was synthesized and its structure was characterized by using thermogravimetric analysis (TG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), chemical analysis and elementary analysis. Its purity was 99.90%. Heat capacity measurement was carried out with a high-precision fully-automatic adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from 78 to 369 K. A solid-solid phase transformation peak was observed at 256.97 K, with the enthalpy and entropy of the phase transformation process are 4.438 kJ mol−1 and 17.270 J K−1 mol−1, respectively. There is a big dehydrated peak appears at 330 K, its decomposition temperature, decomposition enthalpy and entropy are 320.606 K, 41.364 kJ mol−1 and 129.018 J K−1 mol−1, respectively. The polynomial equations of heat capacity of this compound in different temperature ranges have been fitted. The standard enthalpy of formation was determined to be −8023.002 kJ mol−1 with isoperibol reaction calorimeter at 298.15 K.  相似文献

The FT IR and FT Raman spectra of Co(en)3Al3P4O16 · 3H2O (compound I) and [NH4]3[Co(NH3)6]3[Al2(PO4)4]2 · 2H2O (compound II) are recorded and analysed based on the vibrations of Co(en)33+, Co(NH3)63+, NH4+, Al---O---P, PO3, PO2 and H2O. The observed splitting of bands indicate that the site symmetry and correlation field effects are appreciable in both the compounds. In compound I, the overtone of CH2 deformation Fermi resonates with its symmetric stretching vibration. The NH4 ion in compound II is not free to rotate in the crystalline lattice. Hydrogen bonding of different groups is also discussed.  相似文献

[Cu(TO)2(H2O)4](PA)2 was prepared by mixing the aqueous solution of 1,2,4-triazol-5-one(TO) and Cu(PA)2. The molecular structure and crystal structure of the title complex was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction method. The crystal is triclinic, space group with a=0.7321(1)nm,b=0.7474(2)nm,c=1.3649(3)nm;α=88.65(2)°,β=85.63(1)°,γ=63.35(1)°;V=0.6655(2)nm3,Z=1. The Cu2+ coordinated with two TO molecule through its 2-nitrogen atom and four water molecules and showed an octahedral configuration.  相似文献

DSC measurements were carried out for [Ni(H2O)6](ClO4)2 (sampleH) and [Ni(D2O)6](ClO4)2 (sampleD) in the temperature range 300–380 K. For both compounds two anomalies on the DSC curves were detected. The results for sampleH are compared to those previously obtained using adiabatic calorimetry method. For both compounds studied in this work the high-temperature transition appears at the same temperature while the low-temperature one is shifted towards higher temperatures in sampleD. Disorder connected with H2O or D2O groups is suggested in the intermediate phase between the low- and high-temperature transitions.  相似文献

The reactions of OsO4 with excess of HSC6F5 and P(C6H4X-4)3 in ethanol afford the five-coordinate compounds [Os(SC6F5)4(P(C6H4X-4)3)] where X = OCH3 1a and 1b, CH3 2a and 2b, F 3a and 3b, Cl 4a and 4b or CF3 5a and 5b. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies of 1 to 5 exhibit a common pattern with an osmium center in a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination arrangement. The axial positions are occupied by mutually trans thiolate and phosphane ligands, while the remaining three equatorial positions are occupied by three thiolate ligands. The three pentafluorophenyl rings of the equatorial ligands are directed upwards, away from the axial phosphane ligand in the arrangement “3-up” (isomers a). On the other hand, 31P{1H} and 19F NMR studies at room temperature reveal the presence of two isomers in solution: The “3-up” isomer (a) with the three C6F5-rings of the equatorial ligands directed towards the axial thiolate ligand, and the “2-up, 1-down” isomer (b) with two C6F5-rings of the equatorial ligands directed towards the axial thiolate and the C6F5-ring of the third equatorial ligand directed towards the axial phosphane. Bidimensional 19F–19F NMR studies encompass the two sub-spectra for the isomers a (“3-up”) and b (“2-up, 1-down”). Variable temperature 19F NMR experiments showed that these isomers are fluxional. Thus, the 19F NMR sub-spectra for the “2-up, 1-down” isomers (b) at room temperature indicate that the two S-C6F5 ligands in the 2-up equatorial positions have restricted rotation about their C–S bonds, but this rotation becomes free as the temperature increases. Room temperature 19F NMR spectra of 3 and 5 also indicate restricted rotation around the Os–P bonds in the “2-up, 1-down” isomers (b). In addition, as the temperature increases, the 19F NMR spectra tend to be consistent with an increased rate of the isomeric exchange. Variable temperature 31P{1H} NMR studies also confirm that, as the temperature is increased, the a and b isomeric exchange becomes fast on the NMR time scale.  相似文献

In the system BaF2/BF3/PF5/anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) a compound Ba(BF4)(PF6) was isolated and characterized by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction on the single crystal. Ba(BF4)(PF6) crystallizes in a hexagonal space group with a=10.2251(4) Å, c=6.1535(4) Å, V=557.17(5) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=3. Both crystallographically independent Ba atoms possess coordination polyhedra in the shape of tri-capped trigonal prisms, which include F atoms from BF4 and PF6 anions. In the analogous system with AsF5 instead of PF5 the compound Ba(BF4)(AsF6) was isolated and characterized. It crystallizes in an orthorhombic Pnma space group with a=10.415(2) Å, b=6.325(3) Å, c=11.8297(17) Å, V=779.3(4) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=4. The coordination around Ba atom is in the shape of slightly distorted tri-capped trigonal prism which includes five F atoms from AsF6 and four F atoms from BF4 anions. When the system BaF2/BF3/AsF5/aHF is made basic with an extra addition of BaF2, the compound Ba2(BF4)2(AsF6)(H3F4) was obtained. It crystallizes in a hexagonal P63/mmc space group with a=6.8709(9) Å, c=17.327(8) Å, V=708.4(4) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=2. The barium environment in the shape of tetra-capped distorted trigonal prism involves 10 F atoms from four BF4, three AsF6 and three H3F4 anions. All F atoms, except the central atom in H3F4 moiety, act as μ2-bridges yielding a complex 3-D structural network.  相似文献

The results of DSC measurements in the temperature range 140–370 K on nine crystalline compounds of the type [M(H2O)6](ClO4)2, where M=Mg, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg, are discussed. Anomalies detected in the DSC curves are related to the existence of solid-solid phase transitions and/or to the melting points of these compounds. In consequence of two different hypothetical structural modifications of [Fe(H2O)6](ClO4)2, two DSC curves are obtained. For the compounds with M=Fe, Cd and Hg, new phase transitions have been discovered. The transition temperatures of the other phase transitions are in good agreement with literature data obtained by adiabatic calorimetry. For the compounds with M=Mg, Ni and Cd, DTA measurements were also carried out and the melting points of theses compounds were established. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献
