Abstract

A series of 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(1,2,4-triazolyl)benzenes and 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(1,3,4-oxadiazolyl)benzenes was synthesized by nucleophilic addition of sodium salts of 4-phenyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones and 1,3,4-oxadiazole-2(3H)-thiones to 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(bromomethyl)benzene. The structure of the newly synthesized compounds was confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectra.

1,2,4,5-Tetrakis(p-tert-butylphenylselenomethyl)benzene was synthesized and used as a tetrafunctional photoiniferter for the polymerization of styrene. Both the yield and the number average molecular weight () of polymers increased with reaction time and linearly increased with yield of polymer. The polymerization of styrene using this novel photoiniferter permitted formation of star-shaped polystyrene containing arylseleno groups at the chain ends, and the average degree of functionality was 3.2. Photopolymerization of styrene with end-functional star polystyrene as polymeric photoiniferter afforded polystyrene having high molecular weight.  相似文献

Three new two-photon absorption chromophores based on a pyrimidine core were synthesized by Aldol condensation in the absence of any organic solvents. Their single-photon spectroscopic characterization as well as their two-photon absorption properties is reported. In addition, strong modulation of single-photon and two-photon fluorescent spectra of these molecules by (de)protonation is also discussed.  相似文献

Molecular inclusion by the new amide host molecule (TMB) has been reconsidered by calculating the crystal stabilization energies for the guest molecules in the TMB + guest system from the simple intermolecular potential functions of Caillet and Claverie. Water, ethylene glycol, methanol, and ethanol have been employed as guest molecules and their relative stabilities have been considered. Water has been found to be the most suitable guest molecule in the TMB + guest system. It also has been found that the guest host interaction is the most important contributor in determining the relative stabilities of the guest molecules in the TMB + guest system, but the guest guest interaction is very important, too. Moreover, the electrostatic interaction has been found to be the most important contributor to the total interaction energy in the TMB + guest system.  相似文献

Fluorinated Dewar benzene (1,2,4-trifluoro-3,5,6-tris(triisopropylsilyl)bicyclo[2,2,0]-hexa-2,5-diene) efficiently prepared from fluoro(triisopropylsilyl)acetylene was thermochemically or photochemically transformed into the corresponding highly crowded fluorinated benzene (1,2,4-trifluoro-3,5,6-tris(triisopropylsilyl)benzene) in excellent yield. The molecular structure of the crowded benzene was determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Efficient Witting and Pd-catalyzed Heck coupling methodologies are employed to synthesize two new two-photon free-radical photopolymerization initiators 9-ethyl-3-{2-[4-(2-pyridin-4-yl-vinyl)-phenyl]-vinyl}-9H-carbazole (abbreviated to EPVPC) and 9-octadecyl-3-{2-[4-(2-pyridin-4-yl-vinyl)-phenyl]-vinyl}-9H-carbazole (abbreviated to OPVPC). The experimental results confirm that the two compounds are good two-photon absorbing chromophores and operative two-photon photopolymerization initiators. The calculated two-photon absorption cross-sections of EPVPC and OPVPC are 56.6 and 62.0×10−50 cm4 s photon−1, respectively. A microstructure by using EPVPC as initiator has been fabricated under irradiation of 200 fs, 76 MHz Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser at 780 nm. The possible mechanism of photopolymerization is discussed.  相似文献

1,2-Bis(4-aminophenoxy)benzene was synthesized in two steps by the preparation of 1,2-bis(4-itrophenoxy)benzene from 1,2-dihydroxybenzene (catechol) and p-chloronitrobenzene and subsequent reduction with a 10% Pd-C catalyst and hydrazine hydrate. Aromatic polyamides with an inherent viscosity in the range of 1.08–2.00 dL/g were prepared by the direct polycondensation of this diamine with various aromatic dicarboxylic acids in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents. Most of the polymers formed were soluble in aprotic solvents such as NMP and N,N-methylacetamide (DMAc), and afforded transparent, flexible, and tough films upon casting from DMAc solutions. Most of the cast films showed obvious yield points in their stress-strain curves and had tensile strength among 64–89 MPa, elongation at break among 5–23%, and initial modulus in 1.7–2.5 GPa. The glass transition temperatures (Tg) of these polymers were in the range of 207–278°C, and the 10% weight loss temperatures were recorded above 475°C in nitrogen and above 452°C in air. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title complex {[Co(TCB)2/2-(IMI)2(H2O)2][Co(IMI)4(H2O)2] } (H2O)4 (where TCB = 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic anion; IMI = imidazole) has been determined by X-ray diffraction method. Crystal data for {[Co(TCB)2/2(IMI)2(H2O)2][Co(IMI)4(H2O)2]}-(H2O)4: triclinic, space group P 1, a = 1.0647(2) nm, b = 1.1165(1)nm,c = 1.00361(1)nm,α = 91.56(1)°,β = 111.34(1)°, γ = 115.642(10)°, V = 0.9772(3) nm5, Z = 1. The polymer cobalt (II) complex has a novel three-dimension network structure. Co(1) atom and Co(2) atom both are coordinated in an octahedral arrangement and located in the center of the coordination anion and the center of the coordination cation, respectively. Moreover four carboxyl groups of TCB are divided into two types, two para-carboxyl groups bridge Co(1) atom in monodentate fashion and other two para-carboxyl groups are in free.  相似文献

A novel multi-branched chromophore containing 2,3-diarylquinoxalinyl units as the electron-acceptors had been synthesized and its nonlinear optical properties were characterized in the femtosecond and nanosecond regime. The experimental results show that the studied fluorophore possesses strong and wide-dispersed two-photon absorption in near infrared (NIR) region. It is demonstrated that the incorporation of 2,3-disubstituted quinoxaline moieties as a part of π-conjugation in a dye molecule could be a useful approach toward large molecular two-photon absoptivities within the studied spectral region. Effective optical-power-attenuation behaviors in the nanosecond time domain of this compound were also investigated and the results indicate that such dye molecule can be a potential material as a broadband and quick-responsive optical limiter especially when against those laser lights with longer pulses.  相似文献

A new series of 2,7-bis-(2-ethylhexyl)-benzo[lmn][3,8]-phenanthroline-1,3,6,8-tetraone (NDI) based pseudo-quadrupolar molecules (1-6) is presented and their two-photon absorption (2PA) cross-sections measured with the Z-scan method. The spectral properties of these compounds can be fine-tuned via modification of the donor segments. The corresponding 2PA cross-section (σ2) values at the most readily available 800 nm excitation range from 229±15 to 1092±59 GM owing to differences in conjugation length and/or position of substitution.  相似文献

The chemical preparation, crystal structure and infrared spectroscopic characterization of the triaqua(4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine) cuprate(II) sulfate, [Cu(C_5H_7N_3)(H_2O)_3]SO_4, is reported. The compound crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group P2_12_12_1 with lattice parameters a = 7.9025(3), b = 11.1189(4), c = 12.9720(4) , V = 1139.81(7) ~3 and Z = 4. The Cu(II) cation is fivecoordinated, in an early half-way between square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal fashion, by two nitrogen atoms of the 4-amino-6-methoxypyrimidine ligand and three water oxygen atoms. In the atomic arrangement, the organic ligands and the 5-connected Cu centers are linked with each other to give a 1-D corrugated hybrid chain running along the b-axis direction. The chains are interconnected by the SO_4~(2-) anions via O–H...O, O–H...S, C–H...O and N–H...O hydrogen bonds to form layers spreading parallel to the(011) plane. The vibrational absorption bands were identified by infrared spectroscopy. Quantitative measurements of the second harmonic generation(SHG) of a powdered sample at 1064 nm were performed and a relative efficiency of 5.2 times the KDP standard was observed. Magnetic properties were also defined to characterize the complex. Magnetic measurements revealed that this material had a onedimensional antiferromagnetic character. The magnetic parameters were g = 2.11 and 2J/k B = -36 K.  相似文献

Two triphenylamine-based derivatives that can be used as two-photon absorption chromophore,tris{4-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-3-oxopanoyl)]phenyl}amine (1) and tris{4-[4-(3-phenyl-3-oxopanoyl)] phenyl} amine (2) were successfully synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analysis,IR,1H NMR and MS. The reaction between 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid (H4BT) and transition metal ions Mn+2, Co+2 and Cu+2 in the presence of the N-donor co-ligand 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl) propane (BPP) has afforded three new coordination polymers named, {[Mn4(BT)2(BPP)6(H2O)6]·4H2O}nMnBTBPP, {[Co2(BT)(BPP)2(H2O)6]·2H2O}nCoBTBPP and {[Cu2(BT)(BPP)2(H2O)]·6H2O}nCuBTBPP. They were characterized by a combination of analytical, spectroscopic and crystallographic methods. According to the thermal analysis results all the compounds present coordinated and lattice water molecules in the structures. In compounds MnBTBPP and CoBTBPP, the metal centers exhibit octahedral geometry while in compound CuBTBPP, the Cu+2 ions adopt square-planar and square-pyramidal geometries. In all cases, both BPP and BT ligands are coordinated to the metal sites in the bridging mode extending the polymeric networks. The BT ligand carboxylate groups act in a monodentate coordination mode as indicated by the Raman spectra data through the Δν [νasym(COO) − νsym(COO)] value.  相似文献

N,N′-Di-(4-anilino)-1,2,4,5-benzene bis(dicarboximide) was prepared in a three-step synthesis and purified by heating the resulting solid to 200°C. Condensation of the diamino-diimide with several dianhydrides (BPDA, BTDA, and 6-FDA) yielded polyamic acid-imides that could be either thermally or chemically cured to the corresponding alternating copolyimides. Imidization of the polyamic acid-imide to the final polyimide was monitored by FTIR for samples coated on silicon wafers before being thermally cured. Polyimides prepared by chemical imidization were found by thermogravimetric analysis to be stable to temperatures of 600°C. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The equilibrium geometries, electronic structures, one- and two-photon absorption (TPA) properties of a series of octupolar complexes with the Cu(I), Zn(II) and Al(III) as coordinate centers and the bis-cinnamaldimine as ligands have been studied using the B3LYP/6-31G(d) and ZINDO-SOS methods. Compared with the dipolar metal complexes, all the octupolar metal complexes (including tetrahedral and octahedral complexes) have relatively large TPA cross-sections, indicating that building octupolar metal complex is an effective route to design of promising TPA material. Lewis acidity of metal center and molecular symmetry are two important factors for enhancement of TPA cross-section of metal complex. Due to the stronger Lewis acidity of Zn(II) than Cu(I) as well as Al(III) than Zn(II), the tetrahedral Zn(II) complex exhibits a TPA cross-section larger than that of the tetrahedral Cu(I) complex, the maximum TPA position of the octahedral Al(III) complex is red-shifted relative to the octahedral Zn(II) complex, and at the same time, the octahedral Al(III) complex has a large TPA cross-section. Compared with the tetrahedral complexes, the TPA cross-sections of the octahedral complexes are enhanced due to the increased number of ligands.  相似文献

A new ion-pair complex, [1-(4′-chlorobenzyl)-4-aminopyridinium](+)bis(maleonitrile-dithiolato)nickel(−),[ClbzPyNH2][Ni(mnt)2] (1), has been prepared and characterized. X-ray single crystal structure conforms that the Ni(mnt)2 anions and [ClbzPyNH2]+ cations of 1 form completely segregated uniform stacking columns with the Ni?Ni distance 3.944 Å in the Ni(mnt)2 stacking column. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility reveals that 1 undergoes a magnetic transition, and exhibits ferromagnetic interaction in the high-temperature phase and spin gap system in the low-temperature phase.  相似文献
