We discuss the thermodynamics of regular black hole (RBH) with cosmological constant and Einstein–Aether black hole (BH) with coupling constant in the presence of thermal corrections. For these BHs, we develop various thermodynamical quantities such as entropy, pressure, specific heats, Gibbs free energy and Helmholtz free energy. Thermal stability is also being analyzed through γ factor, Gibbs free energy and Helmholtz free energy. It is found that RBH with cosmological constant and Einstein–Aether show stable behavior with the increase of the values of cosmological and coupling constants.  相似文献

It has recently been shown that black holes can act as particle accelerators and two particles can collide with arbitrarily high center-of-mass (CM) energy under certain critical conditions. In this paper, we investigate particle collisions outside a Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter (RN-dS) black hole. We find that infinite CM energy can be produced near the cosmological horizon for generic spacetime configurations. Remarkably, such infinite CM energy does not require the black hole to be extremal, in contrast to spacetimes in the absence of cosmological constants. However, since the charge of an astrophysical body is negligible, the required charge to mass ratio of the particle is extremely higher than that of any elementary particle.  相似文献

We study the entropy of Kerr–Sen black hole of heterotic string theory beyond semiclassical approximations. Applying the properties of exact differentials for three variables to the first law of thermodynamics, we derive the corrections to the entropy of the black hole. This paper studies the thermodynamic properties of the Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger dilaton black hole from the viewpoint of geometry. It calculates the heat capacity and the temperature of the black hole, Weinhold metric and Ruppeiner metric are also obtained respectively. It finds that they are both curved and the scalar curvature of the Weinhold geometry consists with the first-order transition point reproduced from the capacity, while the Ruppeiner one is both in accordance with the first-order and the second-order phase transition points reproduced from the capacity.  相似文献

Extending Parikh and Wilczek's work to the non-stationary black hole, we study the Hawking radiation of the non-stationary Kerr black hole by the Hamilto-Jacobi method. The result shows that the radiation spectrum is not purely thermal and the tunnelling probability is related to the change of Bekenstein Hawking entropy, which gives a correction to the Hawking thermal radiation of the black hole.  相似文献

The destruction of a regular black hole event horizon might provide us the possibility to access regions inside black hole event horizon. This paper investigates the possibility of overcharging a charged Taub-NUT regular black hole via the scattering of a charged field and the absorption of a charged particle. For the charged scalar field scattering, both the near-extremal and extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black holes cannot be overcharged. For the test charged particle absorption, the result shows that the event horizon of the extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black hole still exists while the event horizon of the near-extremal one can be destroyed. However, if the charge and energy cross the event horizon in a continuous path, the near-extremal charged Taub-NUT regular black hole might not be overcharged.  相似文献

Considering the relationship between the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon, the thermodynamic property of the charged de Sitter spacetime is discussed. The effective temperature and energy are obtained. The result shows that the upper limit of the energy in the charged de Sitter spacetime is just the energy in the pure de Sitter spacetime. The thermal capacity of the charged de Sitter spacetime is positive, thus satisfying the thermal stability condition.  相似文献

The divergences at all levels for the statistical entropy of a plane symmetry black hole arising from the massless Dirac field are considered using the brick-wall model. It is shown that if we ignore the usual contribution from the vacuum surrounding the system, then the statistical entropy consists of two parts: one is the linearly divergent term which has the geometric character, the other consists of two logarithmically divergent terms which are not proportional to the surface area of the horizon. The entropy of the Dirac field on extremal plane symmetry spacetime background has higher divergence than usual.  相似文献

We consider a particle falling into a rotating black hole. Such a particle makes an infinite number of revolutions n from the viewpoint of a remote observer who uses the Boyer–Lindquist type of coordinates. We examine the behavior of n when it is measured with respect to a local reference frame that also rotates due to dragging effect of spacetime. The crucial point consists here in the observation that for a nonextremal black hole, the leading contributions to n from a particle itself and the reference frame have the same form being in fact universal, so that divergences mutually cancel. As a result, the relative number of revolutions turns out to be finite. For the extremal black hole this is not so, n can be infinite. Different choices of the local reference frame are considered, the results turn out to be the same qualitatively. For illustration, we discuss two explicit examples—rotation in the flat spacetime and in the Kerr metric.  相似文献

We clarify the purely imaginary quasinormal frequencies of a massless scalar perturbation on 3D charged-dilaton black holes. This case is quite interesting, because the step of the potential appears outside the event horizon, similar to the case of the electromagnetic perturbations on large Schwarzschild–anti-de Sitter (AdS) black holes. It turns out that the potential-step type with a massless scalar perturbation provides purely imaginary quasinormal frequencies.  相似文献

We propose a new generalisation of general relativity which incorporates a variation in both the speed of light in vacuum (c) and the gravitational constant (G) and which is both covariant and Lorentz invariant. We solve the generalised Einstein equations for Friedmann universes and show that arbitrary time-variations of c and G never lead to a solution to the flatness, horizon or Λ problems for a theory satisfying the strong energy condition. In order to do so, one needs to construct a theory which does not reduce to the standard one for any choice of time, length and energy units. This can be achieved by breaking a number of invariance principles such as covariance and Lorentz invariance.  相似文献
