In this paper, we investigate Lagrangian submanifolds in the homogeneous nearly Kähler \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\). We introduce and make use of a triplet of angle functions to describe the geometry of a Lagrangian submanifold in \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\). We construct a new example of a flat Lagrangian torus and give a complete classification of all the Lagrangian immersions of spaces of constant sectional curvature. As a corollary of our main result, we obtain that the radius of a round Lagrangian sphere in the homogeneous nearly Kähler \(\mathbb {S}^3 \times \mathbb {S}^3\) can only be \(\frac{2}{\sqrt{3}}\) or \(\frac{4}{\sqrt{3}}\).  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate solutions of the hyperbolic Poisson equation \(\Delta _{h}u(x)=\psi (x)\), where \(\psi \in L^{\infty }(\mathbb {B}^{n}, {\mathbb R}^n)\) and
$$\begin{aligned} \Delta _{h}u(x)= (1-|x|^2)^2\Delta u(x)+2(n-2)\left( 1-|x|^2\right) \sum _{i=1}^{n} x_{i} \frac{\partial u}{\partial x_{i}}(x) \end{aligned}$$
is the hyperbolic Laplace operator in the n-dimensional space \(\mathbb {R}^n\) for \(n\ge 2\). We show that if \(n\ge 3\) and \(u\in C^{2}(\mathbb {B}^{n},{\mathbb R}^n) \cap C(\overline{\mathbb {B}^{n}},{\mathbb R}^n )\) is a solution to the hyperbolic Poisson equation, then it has the representation \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{ h}[\psi ]\) provided that \(u\mid _{\mathbb {S}^{n-1}}=\phi \) and \(\int _{\mathbb {B}^{n}}(1-|x|^{2})^{n-1} |\psi (x)|\,d\tau (x)<\infty \). Here \(P_{h}\) and \(G_{h}\) denote Poisson and Green integrals with respect to \(\Delta _{h}\), respectively. Furthermore, we prove that functions of the form \(u=P_{h}[\phi ]-G_{h}[\psi ]\) are Lipschitz continuous.

Let \(v = (v_1, \ldots , v_n)\) be a vector in \(\mathbb {R}^n {\setminus } \{ 0 \}\). Consider the Laplacian on \(\mathbb {R}^n\) with drift \(\Delta _{v} = \sum _{i = 1}^n \Big ( \frac{\partial ^2}{\partial x_i^2} + 2 v_i \frac{\partial }{\partial x_i} \Big )\) and the measure \(d\mu (x) = e^{2 \langle v, x \rangle } dx\), with respect to which \(\Delta _{v}\) is self-adjoint. Let d and \(\nabla \) denote the Euclidean distance and the gradient operator on \(\mathbb {R}^n\). Consider the space \((\mathbb {R}^n, d, d\mu )\), which has the property of exponential volume growth. We obtain weak type (1, 1) for the Riesz transform \(\nabla (- \Delta _{v} )^{-\frac{1}{2}}\) and for the heat maximal operator, with respect to \(d\mu \). Further, we prove that the uncentered Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator is bounded on \(L^p\) for \(1 < p \le +\infty \) but not of weak type (1, 1) if \(n \ge 2\).  相似文献

Optical orthogonal signature pattern codes (OOSPCs) play an important role in a novel type of optical code-division multiple-access network for 2-dimensional image transmission. There is a one-to-one correspondence between an \((m, n, w, \lambda )\)-OOSPC and a \((\lambda +1)\)-(mnw, 1) packing design admitting an automorphism group isomorphic to \(\mathbb {Z}_m\times \mathbb {Z}_n\). In 2010, Sawa gave a construction of an (mn, 4, 2)-OOSPC from a one-factor of Köhler graph of \(\mathbb {Z}_m\times \mathbb {Z}_n\) which contains a unique element of order 2. In this paper, we study the existence of one-factor of Köhler graph of \(\mathbb {Z}_m\times \mathbb {Z}_n\) having three elements of order 2. It is proved that there is a one-factor in the Köhler graph of \(\mathbb {Z}_{2^{\epsilon }p}\times \mathbb {Z}_{2^{\epsilon '}}\) relative to the Sylow 2-subgroup if there is an S-cyclic Steiner quadruple system of order 2p, where \(p\equiv 5\pmod {12}\) is a prime and \(1\le \epsilon ,\epsilon '\le 2\). Using this one-factor, we construct a strictly \(\mathbb {Z}_{2^{\epsilon }p}\times \mathbb {Z}_{2^{\epsilon '}}\)-invariant regular \(G^*(p,2^{\epsilon +\epsilon '},4,3)\) relative to the Sylow 2-subgroup. By using the known S-cyclic SQS(2p) and a recursive construction for strictly \(\mathbb {Z}_{m}\times \mathbb {Z}_{n}\)-invariant regular G-designs, we construct more strictly \(\mathbb {Z}_{m}\times \mathbb {Z}_{n}\)-invariant 3-(mn, 4, 1) packing designs. Consequently, there is an optimal \((2^{\epsilon }m,2^{\epsilon '}n,4,2)\)-OOSPC for any \(\epsilon ,\epsilon '\in \{0,1,2\}\) with \(\epsilon +\epsilon '>0\) and an optimal (6m, 6n, 4, 2)-OOSPC where mn are odd integers whose all prime divisors from the set \(\{p\equiv 5\pmod {12}:p\) is a prime, \(p<\)1,500,000}.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the harmonic equation involving subcritical exponent \((P_{\varepsilon })\): \( \Delta u = 0 \), in \(\mathbb {B}^n\) and \(\displaystyle \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu } + \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2}u = \displaystyle \frac{n-2}{2} K u^{\frac{n}{n-2}-\varepsilon }\) on \( \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) where \(\mathbb {B}^n \) is the unit ball in \(\mathbb {R}^n\), \(n\ge 5\) with Euclidean metric \(g_0\), \(\partial \mathbb {B}^n = \mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) is its boundary, K is a function on \(\mathbb {S}^{n-1}\) and \(\varepsilon \) is a small positive parameter. We construct solutions of the subcritical equation \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which blow up at two different critical points of K. Furthermore, we construct solutions of \((P_{\varepsilon })\) which have two bubbles and blow up at the same critical point of K.  相似文献

Let \(\Omega \) be a bounded domain with smooth boundary in an n-dimensional metric measure space \((\mathbb {R}^n, \langle ,\rangle , e^{-\phi }dv)\) and let \(\mathbf {u}=(u^1, \ldots , u^n)\) be a vector-valued function from \(\Omega \) to \(\mathbb {R}^n\). In this paper, we investigate the Dirichlet eigenvalue problem of a system of equations of the drifting Laplacian: \(\mathbb {L}_{\phi } \mathbf {u} + \alpha [ \nabla (\mathrm {div}\mathbf { u}) -\nabla \phi \mathrm {div} \mathbf {u}]= - \widetilde{\sigma } \mathbf {u}\), in \( \Omega \), and \(u|_{\partial \Omega }=0,\) where \(\mathbb {L}_{\phi } = \Delta - \nabla \phi \cdot \nabla \) is the drifting Laplacian and \(\alpha \) is a nonnegative constant. We establish some universal inequalities for lower order eigenvalues of this problem on the metric measure space \((\mathbb {R}^n, \langle ,\rangle , e^{-\phi }dv)\) and the Gaussian shrinking soliton \((\mathbb {R}^n, \langle ,\rangle _{\mathrm {can}}, e^{-\frac{|x|^2}{4}}dv, \frac{1}{2})\). Moreover, we give an estimate for the upper bound of the second eigenvalue of this problem in terms of its first eigenvalue on the gradient product Ricci soliton \((\Sigma \times \mathbb {R}, \langle ,\rangle , e^{-\frac{\kappa t^2}{2}}dv, \kappa )\), where \( \Sigma \) is an Einstein manifold with constant Ricci curvature \(\kappa \).  相似文献

Let \(\Phi _{n}(x)=e^x-\sum _{j=0}^{n-2}\frac{x^j}{j!}\) and \(\alpha _{n} =n\omega _{n-1}^{\frac{1}{n-1}}\) be the sharp constant in Moser’s inequality (where \(\omega _{n-1}\) is the area of the surface of the unit \(n\)-ball in \(\mathbb {R}^n\)), and \(dV\) be the volume element on the \(n\)-dimensional hyperbolic space \((\mathbb {H}^n, g)\) (\(n\ge {2}\)). In this paper, we establish the following sharp Moser–Trudinger type inequalities with the exact growth condition on \(\mathbb {H}^n\):
For any \(u\in {W^{1,n}(\mathbb {H}^n)}\) satisfying \(\Vert \nabla _{g}u\Vert _{n}\le {1}\), there exists a constant \(C(n)>0\) such that
$$\begin{aligned} \int _{\mathbb {H}^n}\frac{\Phi _{n}(\alpha _{n}|u|^{\frac{n}{n-1}})}{(1+|u|)^{\frac{n}{n-1}}}dV \le {C(n)\Vert u\Vert _{L^n}^{n}}. \end{aligned}$$
The power \(\frac{n}{n-1}\) and the constant \(\alpha _{n}\) are optimal in the following senses:
  1. (i)
If the power \(\frac{n}{n-1}\) in the denominator is replaced by any \(p<\frac{n}{n-1}\), then there exists a sequence of functions \(\{u_{k}\}\) such that \(\Vert \nabla _{g}u_{k}\Vert _{n}\le {1}\), but
    $$\begin{aligned} \frac{1}{\Vert u_{k}\Vert _{L^n}^{n}}\int _{\mathbb {H}^n} \frac{\Phi _{n}(\alpha _{n}(|u_{k}|)^{\frac{n}{n-1}})}{(1+|u_{k}|)^{p}}dV \rightarrow {\infty }. \end{aligned}$$

  2. (ii)
    If \(\alpha >\alpha _{n}\), then there exists a sequence of function \(\{u_{k}\}\) such that \(\Vert \nabla _{g}u_{k}\Vert _{n}\le {1}\), but
    $$\begin{aligned} \frac{1}{\Vert u_{k}\Vert _{L^n}^{n}}\int _{\mathbb {H}^n} \frac{\Phi _{n}(\alpha (|u_{k}|)^{\frac{n}{n-1}})}{(1+|u_{k}|)^{p}}dV\rightarrow {\infty }, \end{aligned}$$
    for any \(p\ge {0}\).

This result sharpens the earlier work of the authors Lu and Tang (Adv Nonlinear Stud 13(4):1035–1052, 2013) on best constants for the Moser–Trudinger inequalities on hyperbolic spaces.

Let \(a_{\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }}(n)\) denote the nth Dirichlet series coefficient of the principal L-function associated to \(\mathrm{sym}^j \pi _{\varphi }\). In this paper, we study first moments of Dirichlet series coefficients of automorphic representations \(\mathrm{sym}^3 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{4}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\), and \(\pi _{\psi }\otimes \mathrm{sym}^2 \pi _{\varphi }\) of \(\text {GL}_{6}(\mathbb {A}_{\mathbb {Q}})\). We study isometric cohomogeneity one actions on the \((n+1)\)-dimensional Minkowski space \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) up to orbit-equivalence. We give examples of isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) whose orbit spaces are non-Hausdorff. We show that there exist isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\), \(n \ge 3\), which are orbit-equivalent on the complement of an n-dimensional degenerate subspace \(\mathbb {W}^n\) of \(\mathbb {L}^{n+1}\) and not orbit-equivalent on \(\mathbb {W}^n\). We classify isometric cohomogeneity one actions on \(\mathbb {L}^2\) and \(\mathbb {L}^3\) up to orbit-equivalence.  相似文献

We prove a dichotomy between absolute continuity and singularity of the Ginibre point process \(\mathsf {G}\) and its reduced Palm measures \(\{\mathsf {G}_{\mathbf {x}}, \mathbf {x} \in \mathbb {C}^{\ell }, \ell = 0,1,2\ldots \}\), namely, reduced Palm measures \(\mathsf {G}_{\mathbf {x}}\) and \(\mathsf {G}_{\mathbf {y}}\) for \(\mathbf {x} \in \mathbb {C}^{\ell }\) and \(\mathbf {y} \in \mathbb {C}^{n}\) are mutually absolutely continuous if and only if \(\ell = n\); they are singular each other if and only if \(\ell \not = n\). Furthermore, we give an explicit expression of the Radon–Nikodym density \(d\mathsf {G}_{\mathbf {x}}/d \mathsf {G}_{\mathbf {y}}\) for \(\mathbf {x}, \mathbf {y} \in \mathbb {C}^{\ell }\).  相似文献

Let \(n\ge 3, \Omega \) be a bounded, simply connected and semiconvex domain in \({\mathbb {R}}^n\) and \(L_{\Omega }:=-\Delta +V\) a Schrödinger operator on \(L^2 (\Omega )\) with the Dirichlet boundary condition, where \(\Delta \) denotes the Laplace operator and the potential \(0\le V\) belongs to the reverse Hölder class \(RH_{q_0}({\mathbb {R}}^n)\) for some \(q_0\in (\max \{n/2,2\},\infty ]\). Assume that the growth function \(\varphi :\,{\mathbb {R}}^n\times [0,\infty ) \rightarrow [0,\infty )\) satisfies that \(\varphi (x,\cdot )\) is an Orlicz function and \(\varphi (\cdot ,t)\in {\mathbb {A}}_{\infty }({\mathbb {R}}^n)\) (the class of uniformly Muckenhoupt weights). Let \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) be the Musielak–Orlicz–Hardy space whose elements are restrictions of elements of the Musielak–Orlicz–Hardy space, associated with \(L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n}:=-\Delta +V\) on \({\mathbb {R}}^n\), to \(\Omega \). In this article, the authors show that the operators \(VL^{-1}_\Omega \) and \(\nabla ^2L^{-1}_\Omega \) are bounded from \(L^1(\Omega )\) to weak-\(L^1(\Omega )\), from \(L^p(\Omega )\) to itself, with \(p\in (1,2]\), and also from \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) to the Musielak–Orlicz space \(L^\varphi (\Omega )\) or to \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) itself. As applications, the boundedness of \(\nabla ^2{\mathbb {G}}_D\) on \(L^p(\Omega )\), with \(p\in (1,2]\), and from \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) to \(L^\varphi (\Omega )\) or to \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) itself is obtained, where \({\mathbb {G}}_D\) denotes the Dirichlet Green operator associated with \(L_\Omega \). All these results are new even for the Hardy space \(H^1_{L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\), which is just \(H_{\varphi ,\,L_{{\mathbb {R}}^n},\,r}(\Omega )\) with \(\varphi (x,t):=t\) for all \(x\in {\mathbb {R}}^n\) and \(t\in [0,\infty )\).  相似文献

Let \(\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\) be a set of stable Morse functions of an oriented circle such that the number of singular points is \(2n\in \mathbb {N}\) and the order of singular values satisfies the particular condition. For an orthogonal projection \(\pi :\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\), let \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1:S^1\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) be embedding lifts of f. If there is an ambient isotopy \(\tilde{\varphi }_t:\mathbb {R}^2\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^2\) \((t\in [0,1])\) such that \({\pi \circ \tilde{\varphi }}_t(y_1,y_2)=y_1\) and \(\tilde{\varphi }_1\circ {\tilde{f}}_0={\tilde{f}}_1\), we say that \({\tilde{f}}_0\) and \({\tilde{f}}_1\) are height isotopic. We define a function \(I:\mathrm{SM}_{2n}(S^1,\mathbb {R})\rightarrow \mathbb {N}\) as follows: I(f) is the number of height isotopy classes of embeddings such that each rotation number is one. In this paper, we determine the maximal value of the function I equals the n-th Baxter number and the minimal value equals \(2^{n-1}\).  相似文献

which is the sharp target space of the bilinear decomposition of the product of the Hardy space \(H^p(\mathbb {R}^n)\) and its dual. Moreover, \(H^{\Phi _1}(\mathbb {R}^n)\) is the prototype appearing in the real-variable theory of general Musielak–Orlicz Hardy spaces. In this article, the authors find a new structure of the space \(H^{\Phi _p}(\mathbb {R}^n)\) by showing that, for any \(p\in (0,\,1]\), \(H^{\Phi _p}(\mathbb {R}^n)=H^{\phi _0}(\mathbb {R}^n) +H_{W_p}^p({{{\mathbb {R}}}^n})\) and, for any \(p\in (0,\,1)\), \(H^{\Phi _p}(\mathbb {R}^n)=H^{1}(\mathbb {R}^n) +H_{W_p}^p({{{\mathbb {R}}}^n})\), where \(H^1(\mathbb {R}^n)\) denotes the classical real Hardy space, \(H^{\phi _0}({{{\mathbb {R}}}^n})\) the Orlicz–Hardy space associated with the Orlicz function \(\phi _0(t):=t/\log (e+t)\) for any \(t\in [0,\infty )\), and \(H_{W_p}^p(\mathbb {R}^n)\) the weighted Hardy space associated with certain weight function \(W_p(x)\) that is comparable to \(\Phi _p(x,1)\) for any \(x\in \mathbb {R}^n\). As an application, the authors further establish an interpolation theorem of quasilinear operators based on this new structure.

In this paper we study the smallest non-zero eigenvalue \(\lambda _1\) of the Laplacian on toric Kähler manifolds. We find an explicit upper bound for \(\lambda _1\) in terms of moment polytope data. We show that this bound can only be attained for \(\mathbb C\mathbb P^n\) endowed with the Fubini–Study metric and therefore \(\mathbb C\mathbb P^n\) endowed with the Fubini–Study metric is spectrally determined among all toric Kähler metrics. We also study the equivariant counterpart of \(\lambda _1\) which we denote by \(\lambda _1^T\). It is the smallest non-zero eigenvalue of the Laplacian restricted to torus-invariant functions. We prove that \(\lambda _1^T\) is not bounded among toric Kähler metrics thus generalizing a result of Abreu–Freitas on \(S^2\). In particular, \(\lambda _1^T\) and \(\lambda _1\) do not coincide in general.  相似文献

In this paper we propose to develop harmonic analysis on the Poincaré ball \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\), a model of the \(n\)-dimensional real hyperbolic space. The Poincaré ball \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\) is the open ball of the Euclidean \(n\)-space \(\mathbb {R}^n\) with radius \(t >0\), centered at the origin of \(\mathbb {R}^n\) and equipped with Möbius addition, thus forming a Möbius gyrogroup where Möbius addition in the ball plays the role of vector addition in \(\mathbb {R}^n.\) For any \(t>0\) and an arbitrary parameter \(\sigma \in \mathbb {R}\) we study the \((\sigma ,t)\)-translation, the \((\sigma ,t)\)-convolution, the eigenfunctions of the \((\sigma ,t)\)-Laplace–Beltrami operator, the \((\sigma ,t)\)-Helgason Fourier transform, its inverse transform and the associated Plancherel’s Theorem, which represent counterparts of standard tools, thus, enabling an effective theory of hyperbolic harmonic analysis. Moreover, when \(t \rightarrow +\infty \) the resulting hyperbolic harmonic analysis on \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\) tends to the standard Euclidean harmonic analysis on \(\mathbb {R}^n,\) thus unifying hyperbolic and Euclidean harmonic analysis. As an application we construct diffusive wavelets on \({{\mathbb {B}}_{t}^{n}}\).  相似文献

Let \({\mathcal L}\equiv-\Delta+V\) be the Schrödinger operator in \({{\mathbb R}^n}\), where V is a nonnegative function satisfying the reverse Hölder inequality. Let ρ be an admissible function modeled on the known auxiliary function determined by V. In this paper, the authors characterize the localized Hardy spaces \(H^1_\rho({{\mathbb R}^n})\) in terms of localized Riesz transforms and establish the boundedness on the BMO-type space \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) of these operators as well as the boundedness from \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) to \({\mathop\mathrm{BLO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) of their corresponding maximal operators, and as a consequence, the authors obtain the Fefferman–Stein decomposition of \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) via localized Riesz transforms. When ρ is the known auxiliary function determined by V, \({\mathop\mathrm{BMO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) is just the known space \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\), and \({\mathop\mathrm{BLO_\rho({\mathbb R}^n)}}\) in this case is correspondingly denoted by \(\mathop\mathrm{BLO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\). As applications, when n?≥?3, the authors further obtain the boundedness on \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) of Riesz transforms \(\nabla{\mathcal L}^{-1/2}\) and their adjoint operators, as well as the boundedness from \(\mathop\mathrm{BMO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) to \(\mathop\mathrm{BLO}_{\mathcal L}({{\mathbb R}^n})\) of their maximal operators. Also, some endpoint estimates of fractional integrals associated to \({\mathcal L}\) are presented.  相似文献

In Advances in Mathematical Physics (2011) we showed that the weighted shift \(z^{p}\frac{d^{p+1}}{dz^{p+1}} (p=0, 1, 2,\ldots )\) acting on classical Bargmann space \(\mathbb {B}_{p}\) is chaotic operator. In Journal of Mathematical physics (2014), we constructed an chaotic weighted shift \(\mathbb {M}^{*^{p}}\mathbb {M}^{p+1} (p=0, 1, 2,\ldots )\) on some lattice Fock–Bargmann \(\mathbb {E}_{p}^{\alpha }\) generated by the orthonormal basis \( {e_{m}^{(\alpha ,p)}(z) = e_{m}^{\alpha } ; m=p, p+1,\ldots }\) where \( {e_{m}^{\alpha }(z) = (\frac{2\nu }{\pi })^{1/4}e^{\frac{\nu }{2}z^{2}}e^{-\frac{\pi ^{2}}{\nu }(m +\alpha )^{2} +2i\pi (m +\alpha )z}; m \in \mathbb {N}}\) with \(\nu , \alpha \) are real numbers; \(\nu > 0\), \(\mathbb {M}\) is an weighted shift and \(\mathbb {M^{*}}\) is the adjoint of the \(\mathbb {M}\). In this paper we study the chaoticity of tensor product \(\mathbb {M}^{*^{p}}\mathbb {M}^{p+1}\otimes z^{p}\frac{d^{p}}{dz^{p+1}} (p=0, 1, 2, \ldots )\) acting on \(\mathbb {E}_{p}^{\alpha }\otimes \mathbb {B}_{p}\).  相似文献

We prove Nikol’skii type inequalities that, for polynomials on the n-dimensional torus \(\mathbb {T}^n\), relate the \(L^p\)-norm with the \(L^q\)-norm (with respect to the normalized Lebesgue measure and \(0 <p <q < \infty \)). Among other things, we show that \(C=\sqrt{q/p}\) is the best constant such that \(\Vert P\Vert _{L^q}\le C^{\text {deg}(P)} \Vert P\Vert _{L^p}\) for all homogeneous polynomials P on \(\mathbb {T}^n\). We also prove an exact inequality between the \(L^p\)-norm of a polynomial P on \(\mathbb {T}^n\) and its Mahler measure M(P), which is the geometric mean of |P| with respect to the normalized Lebesgue measure on \(\mathbb {T}^n\). Using extrapolation, we transfer this estimate into a Khintchine–Kahane type inequality, which, for polynomials on \(\mathbb {T}^n\), relates a certain exponential Orlicz norm and Mahler’s measure. Applications are given, including some interpolation estimates.  相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with the family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) (\(t\ge 0\)) of normalized biholomorphic mappings on the Euclidean unit ball \(\mathbb {B}^n\) in \({\mathbb {C}}^n\) that can be embedded in normal Loewner chains whose normalizations are given by time-dependent operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\), where \(\widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is a family of measurable mappings from \([0,\infty )\) into \(L({\mathbb {C}}^n)\) which satisfy certain natural assumptions. In particular, we consider extreme points and support points associated with the compact family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), where \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\). We prove that if \(f(z,t)=V(t)^{-1}z+\cdots \) is a normal Loewner chain such that \(V(s)f(\cdot ,s)\in \mathrm{ex}\,\widetilde{S}^s_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) (resp. \(V(s)f(\cdot ,s)\in \mathrm{supp}\,\widetilde{S}^s_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\)), then \(V(t)f(\cdot ,t)\in \mathrm{ex}\, \widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), for all \(t\ge s\) (resp. \(V(t)f(\cdot ,t)\in \mathrm{supp}\,\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), for all \(t\ge s\)), where V(t) is the unique solution on \([0,\infty )\) of the initial value problem: \(\frac{d V}{d t}(t)=-A(t)V(t)\), a.e. \(t\ge 0\), \(V(0)=I_n\). Also, we obtain an example of a bounded support point for the family \(\widetilde{S}_A^t(\mathbb {B}^2)\), where \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is a certain time-dependent operator. We also consider the notion of a reachable family with respect to time-dependent linear operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\), and obtain characterizations of extreme/support points associated with these families of bounded biholomorphic mappings on \(\mathbb {B}^n\). Useful examples and applications yield that the study of the family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) for time-dependent operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is basically different from that in the case of constant time-dependent linear operators.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the general space–time fractional equation of the form \(\sum _{j=1}^m \lambda _j \frac{\partial ^{\nu _j}}{\partial t^{\nu _j}} w(x_1, \ldots , x_n ; t) = -c^2 \left( -\varDelta \right) ^\beta w(x_1, \ldots , x_n ; t)\), for \(\nu _j \in \left( 0,1 \right] \) and \(\beta \in \left( 0,1 \right] \) with initial condition \(w(x_1, \ldots , x_n ; 0)= \prod _{j=1}^n \delta (x_j)\). We show that the solution of the Cauchy problem above coincides with the probability density of the n-dimensional vector process \(\varvec{S}_n^{2\beta } \left( c^2 \mathcal {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m} (t) \right) \), \(t>0\), where \(\varvec{S}_n^{2\beta }\) is an isotropic stable process independent from \(\mathcal {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m}(t)\), which is the inverse of \(\mathcal {H}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m} (t) = \sum _{j=1}^m \lambda _j^{1/\nu _j} H^{\nu _j} (t)\), \(t>0\), with \(H^{\nu _j}(t)\) independent, positively skewed stable random variables of order \(\nu _j\). The problem considered includes the fractional telegraph equation as a special case as well as the governing equation of stable processes. The composition \(\varvec{S}_n^{2\beta } \left( c^2 \mathcal {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m} (t) \right) \), \(t>0\), supplies a probabilistic representation for the solutions of the fractional equations above and coincides for \(\beta = 1\) with the n-dimensional Brownian motion at the random time \(\mathcal {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m} (t)\), \(t>0\). The iterated process \(\mathfrak {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m}_r (t)\), \(t>0\), inverse to \(\mathfrak {H}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m}_r (t) =\sum _{j=1}^m \lambda _j^{1/\nu _j} \, _1H^{\nu _j} \left( \, _2H^{\nu _j} \left( \, _3H^{\nu _j} \left( \ldots \, _{r}H^{\nu _j} (t) \ldots \right) \right) \right) \), \(t>0\), permits us to construct the process \(\varvec{S}_n^{2\beta } \left( c^2 \mathfrak {L}^{\nu _1, \ldots , \nu _m}_r (t) \right) \), \(t>0\), the density of which solves a space-fractional equation of the form of the generalized fractional telegraph equation. For \(r \rightarrow \infty \) and \(\beta = 1\), we obtain a probability density, independent from t, which represents the multidimensional generalization of the Gauss–Laplace law and solves the equation \(\sum _{j=1}^m \lambda _j w(x_1, \ldots , x_n) = c^2 \sum _{j=1}^n \frac{\partial ^2}{\partial x_j^2} w(x_1, \ldots , x_n)\). Our analysis represents a general framework of the interplay between fractional differential equations and composition of processes of which the iterated Brownian motion is a very particular case.  相似文献
