We consider the problem of synthesizing state feedback control policies for condition/event (C/E) systems where the control signals can be both conditions, which enable and inhibit state transitions, and events, which force state transitions. To represent the causal structure of condition and event feedback, a new feedback composition is defined. An algorithm is presented for synthesizing state feedback policies that keep the state of the C/E system out of a given set of forbidden states. The problem formulation and solution is illustrated for a process control example.  相似文献

This paper investigates the steady state bifurcation of a periodically excited system subject to time-delayed feedback controls by the combined method of residue harmonic balance and polynomial homotopy continuation. Three kinds of delayed feedback controls are considered to examine the effects of different delayed feedback controls and delay time on the steady state response. By means of polynomial homotopy continuation, all the possible steady state solutions corresponding the third-order superharmonic and second-subharmonic responses are derived analytically, i.e. without numerical integration. It is found that the delayed feedback changes the bifurcating curves qualitatively and possibly eliminates the saddle-node bifurcation during resonant. The delayed position-velocity coupling and the delayed velocity feedback controls can destabilize the steady state responses. Coexisting periodic solutions, period-doubling bifurcation and even chaos are found in these control systems. The neighborhood of the periodic solutions is verified numerically in the phase portraits. The various effects of time delay on the steady state response are investigated. Many new phenomena are observed.  相似文献

Quadratic optimal control synthesis for infinite-dimensional delayed dynamical systems with output time delay involved in the cost functional is described. By introducing a truncation operator and associated semicausal trajectory, a new dynamical optimality principle was established. The closed-loop optimal control is given in three parts as a linear feedback: real-time state feedback, retarded state integral feedback, and initial data feedback which effects only a small time interval. In this paper, a new approach to the linear exact model matching problem for a class of nonlinear systems, using static state feedback, is presented. This approach reduces the problem of determining the state feedback control law to that of solving a system of first-order partial differential equations. Based on these equations, two major issues are resolved: the necessary and sufficient conditions for the problem to have a solution and the general analytical expression for the feedback control law. Furthermore, the proposed approach is extended to solve the same problem via static output feedback.  相似文献

The robust decentralized feedback stabilization problem of a class of nonlinear interconnected discrete-time systems is considered. This class of systems has uncertain nonlinear perturbations satisfying quadratic constraints that are functions of the overall state vector. Decentralized state and output feedback schemes are proposed and analyzed such that the overall closed-loop system guarantees global stability condition, derived in terms of local subsystem variables. Incorporating feedback gain perturbations, new resilient decentralized feedback schemes are subsequently developed. The proposed approach is formulated within the framework of convex optimization over LMIs. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed decentralized output-feedback controllers.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the quadratic stabilizability via state feedback for a particular class of switched systems that evolve on a non-uniform time domain by introducing time scales theory. The system considered switches between a continuous-time subsystem with variable lengths and a discrete-time subsystem with variable discrete step sizes. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the quadratic stability of this class of switched systems via a switching state feedback law based on the existence of a common positive definite matrix satisfying the quadratic stabilizability condition by considering that the two subsystems are unstable. By state feedback, we mean that the switching among subsystems depends on the system states. Current results for this kind of state switching feedback control are derived only for switched systems evolving on a continuous time domain or a discrete time domain with fixed step’s size. These results are not applicable for the particular class of switched systems where there is a mixing between the continuous and discrete dynamics. This motivates the derivation of a new and more general state feedback control law for switched systems in this work. A numerical example illustrating the results is presented.  相似文献

In this paper, the stabilization problem of switched control systems with time delay is investigated for both linear and nonlinear cases. First, a new global stabilizability concept with respect to state feedback and switching law is given. Then, based on multiple Lyapunov functions and delay inequalities, the state feedback controller and the switching law are devised to make sure that the resulting closed-loop switched control systems with time delay are globally asymptotically stable and exponentially stable.  相似文献
