As shown previously by X-ray structure determinations, [tris(1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolato)stannate(IV)](2-) salts, [Q](2)[Sn(dmit)(3)], contain isolated cations and dianions. While the tin centres generally having octahedral geometries, the overall shapes of the dianions of these complexes in the solid state can differ with conformations varying from T, Y to asymmetrical arrangements. We now report, as a follow up to our earlier study on the Y-shaped complex, [NEt(4)](2)[Sn(dmit)(3)], an experimental and theoretical study of the vibrational spectra of solid solvated {[AsPh(4)](2)[Sn(dmit)(3)] x Me(2)CO}, in which the dianion has a T-shaped conformation. The infrared and Raman spectra, recorded from 4000 to 150 cm(-1), have been analysed by different ab initio calculations based on restricted Hartree-Fock (RHF) and density functional theory (DFT-Beck3LYP). The calculations were carried out on isolated dianions and cations with the 6-31G and 6-31G(d) basis sets and effective core potentials of Steven, Bash and Krauss (SBK). Fundamentals, overtones and combinations have been assigned. Generally, the Y- and T-shaped dianions exhibit similar infrared/Raman spectra, apart from differences in the C=C and the symmetrical M-S stretching frequencies: such differences can be used diagnostically to distinguish the overall shape of the tris(chelated)metallate dianion.  相似文献

The Fourier Transform Infrared spectrum of (S)-4 ethyl-4-hydroxy-1H-pyrano [3',4':6,7]-indolizino-[1,2-b-quinoline-3,14-(4H,12H)-dione] [camptothecin] was recorded in the region 4000-400 cm(-1). The Fourier Transform Raman spectrum of camptothecin (CPT) was also recorded in the region 3500-50 cm(-1). Quantum chemical calculations of geometrical structural parameters and vibrational frequencies of CPT were carried out by MP2/6-31G(d,p) and density functional theory DFT/B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) methods. The assignment of each normal mode has been made using the observed and calculated frequencies, their IR and Raman intensities. The harmonic vibrational frequencies were calculated and the scaled values have been compared with experimental FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra. Most of the computed frequencies were found to be in good agreement with the experimental observations. The isotropic chemical shifts computed by (13)C and (1)H NMR analysis also show good agreement with experimental observations. Comparison of calculated spectra with the experimental spectra provides important information about the ability of computational method to describe the vibrational modes of large sized organic molecule.  相似文献

The electrical conductive molecular crystals (Me3NEt)[Pd(dmit)2]2 and (NEt4)[Pd (dmit)2]2 (dmit = 4,5-dimercapto-1,3-dithiole-2-thione) have been prepared, and their crystal structures and conductivity-temperature curves have been determined. The fact that the conductivity at room temperature of (Me3NEt)[Pd(dmit)2]2 (a = 58 Ω· cm-1) is much higher than that of (NEt4)-[Pd(dmit)2]2(cr= 2.2 Q~1 ?cm'1) has been rationally explained by the results of energy band calculations. (MeNEt3)[Pd(dmit)2]2 belongs to monoclinic system, P21/m space group and (NEt4)[Pd (dmit)2]2 belongs to triclinic system, P1 space group. The structural conducting component of the crystals is the planar coordinative anion [Pd(dmit)2]05- which forms the face-to-face dimmer [Pd(dmit)2]2-. These dimers have been further constructed to be a kind of two-dimensional (2-D)conductive molecular sheet by means of S…S intermolecular interactions. Metal complexes of dmit and related ligands, such as dmio, have been studied extensively over the last few decades: [dmit](2-) = bis(1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolato); [dmio](2-) = bis(1,3-dithiole-2-one-4,5-dithiolato). While much effort has been placed on determining structural properties, very few vigorous spectroscopic studies of these metal complexes have been undertaken. The spectroscopic features of the infrared, Raman and UV-vis spectra, previously reported, have largely been used to characterize compounds. In particular, many details of the electronic structure are still to be revealed. We now report a detailed analysis of the UV-vis spectra of the [M(dmit)](-1) and [M(dmio)](-1) anions, where M = Sb(III) or Bi(III). Experimental spectra were deconvoluted and analysed by several theoretical methodologies, including ab initio CI, TD and CISD calculations. The results led to the assignments of several MLCT/LMCT bands, occurring between 390 and 300 nm, and the confirmation of metal orbital contributions to the HOMO-LUMO boundary.  相似文献

Ionic compounds, [Q] [R2SnX(dmit)][dmit=1,3-dithiole-2-thione-dithiolate; Q=1,4-dimethylpyridinium or tetraalkylammonium; R=Phor alkyl; X=Cl, Br, I, NCS, NCSe, or N3] have been obtained by (a) from R2SnX2 and [Q]2[Zn(dmit)2] in the presence of excess QX,(b) from halide exchange reactions in acetone solution between [Q] [R2SnCl(dmit)]and a halide or pseudohalide source, or (c) by addition of QX to [R2Sn(dmit)]. Crystalstructure determinations of [NEt4] [Ph2SnI(dmit)] and [1,4-Me2pyridiniuml [Ph2SnBr(dmit)] as well as of the mixed halides, [1a, 1b, 4a, 2] [Ph2SnClnI1−n(dmit)] (n=0.57, 0.42 or0.22), indicated that the tin atoms have distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries in the anions,with the X ligand and a dithiolato atom in the axial sites. The [R2SnX(dmit)] anions remain essentially intact in organic solvents, but lose X on extractionwith H2O to give the neutral species, R2Sn(dmit).  相似文献

By incorporating (Bu4N)2[Cu(dmit)2] with the diamagnetic host complex (Bu4N)2[Pd (dmit)2], single crystal of (Bu4N)2[Cu/Pd(dmit)2] is obtained. Its ESR spectra of various orientations are recorded. The principal values of g and A tensors and their direction cosines are computed using a least-squares fitting procedure, and based on which the molecular orbital of unpaired electron in [Cu(dmit)2]2- is described. The essence of the two magnetically non-equivalent sites is also revealed.  相似文献

The room temperature attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared spectrum of the 2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole has been recorded with diamond/ZnSe prism. The conformational behaviour, structural stability of optimized geometry, frequency and intensity of the vibrational bands of the title compound were investigated by utilizing ab initio calculations with 6-311G** basis set at HF, B3LYP, BLYP, B3PW91 and mPW1PW91 levels. The harmonic vibrational frequencies were calculated and scaled values have been compared with experimental IR spectrum. The observed and the calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement. The theoretical vibrational spectra of the title compound were interpreted by means of potential energy distributions using VEDA 4 program. Furthermore, the optimal uniform scaling factors calculated for the title compound are 0.9120, 0.9596, 0.9660, 0.9699, and 0.9993 for HF, mPW1PW91, B3PW91, B3LYP and BLYP methods, respectively.  相似文献

首次将不饱和杂原子环状阳离子(N-甲基吡啶阳离子、N-甲基喹啉阳离子和N-甲基苯并噻唑阳离子)及三甲基苯基铵阳离子引入[M(dmit)~2]^n^-体系制备得到了6个新型的导电配位化合物C~n[M(dmit)~2](M=Ni,Pd,Pt,n=2,1)。对这些新化合物进行了组成和结构的测定,研究了它们的IR,UV,ESR和XPS,测定了变温磁化率和室温导电率。结果表明,外部阳离子的大小和形状会影响阴离子部分[M(dmit)~2]^n^-的荷电量以及电荷分布,从而导致配合物性能的改变,说明外部阳离子可以通过另外一种方式来影响配合物的电性能。  相似文献

The S 1s X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) of the neutral complexes [SbL(dmit)] (L = Br or I; dmit =1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate) have been measured using tunable synchrotron radiation. The valence shell electronic excitation by ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy and the infrared vibrational spectra are presented and analyzed. The UV-vis results lead to an assignment of bands at 400 nm as π(Sm) → π*(C═S), where S(m) is the thiolate sulfur. The corresponding S 1s → π*(C═S) transition was identified at 2468.3 eV. Ab initio calculations, within the improved virtual orbital (IVO) method, carried out with the GSCF3 program, were applied to establish a complete and accurate spectral assignment. It has been the first attempt to apply such methodology for dmit coordination compounds, and very consistent results were obtained.  相似文献

A new series of complexes with the general formula (n-Bu4N)2[M2O2(micro-Q)2(dmit)2] (where M = Mo, W; Q = S, Se; dmit = 1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate) have been prepared. Fragmentation of the trinuclear cluster (n-Bu4N)2[Mo3(micro3-S)(micro-S2)3(dmit)3] in the presence of triphenylphosphine (PPh3) gives the dinuclear compound (n-Bu4N)2[Mo2O2(micro-S)2(dmit)2] [(n-Bu4N)2[2]], which is formed via oxidation in air from the intermediate (n-Bu4N)2[Mo3(micro3-S)(micro-S)3(dmit)3] [(n-Bu4N)2[1]] complex. Ligand substitution of the molybdenum sulfur bridged [Mo2O2(micro-S)2(dimethylformamide)6]2+ dimer with the sodium salt of the dmit dithiolate also affords the dianionic compound (n-Bu4N)2[2]. The whole series, (n-Bu4N)2[Mo2O2(micro-Se)2(dmit)2] [(n-Bu4N)2[3]], (n-Bu4N)2[W2O2(micro-S)2(dmit)2] [(n-Bu4N)2[4]], (n-Bu4N)2[W2O2(micro-Se)2(dmit)2] [(n-Bu4N)2[5]], and (n-Bu4N)2[Mo2O2(micro-S)2(dmid)2] [(n-Bu4N)2[6]; dmid = 1,3-dithiole-2-one-4,5-dithiolate], has been synthesized by the excision of the polymeric (Mo3Q7Br4)x phases with PPh3 or 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ethane in acetonitrile followed by the dithiolene incorporation and further degradation in air. Direct evidence of the presence of the intermediates with the formula [M3Q4(dmit)3]2- (M = Mo, W; Q = S, Se) has been obtained by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of (n-Bu4N)2[1], (PPh4)2[Mo2O2(micro-S)2(dmit)2] [(PPh4)2[2]; PPh4 = tetraphenylphosphonium], (n-Bu4N)2[2], (n-Bu4N)2[4], (PPh4)2[W2O2(micro-Se)2(dmit)2] [(PPh4)2[5]], and (n-Bu4N)2[6] have been determined. A detailed study of the gas-phase behavior for compounds (n-Bu4N)2[2-6] shows an identical fragmentation pathway for the whole family that consists of a partial breaking of the two dithiolene ligands followed by the dissociation of the dinuclear cluster.  相似文献

The Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) and Fourier Transform Raman (FT-Raman) spectra of antiepileptic drug Ethosuximide (ETX) have been recorded and analyzed. In addition, the IR spectra in CCl(4) at various concentrations of ETX are also recorded. The equilibrium geometry, bonding features and harmonic vibrational frequencies have been investigated with the help of Density Functional Theory (DFT) method. The (1)H and (13)C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) chemical shifts of the molecule were calculated by the Gauge Including Atomic Orbital (GIAO) method. Stability of the molecule arising from hyperconjugative interactions and charge delocalization has been analyzed using natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis. The results show that charge in electron density (ED) in the σ* and π* antibonding orbitals and second order delocalization energies E(2) confirms the occurrence of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) within the molecule. UV-vis spectrum of the compound was recorded and the electronic properties, such as HOMO and LUMO energies, were performed by Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TD-DFT) approach. Finally the calculation results were applied to simulate infrared and Raman spectra of the title compound which showed good agreement with observed spectra.  相似文献

A novel mixed Langmuir Blodgett (LB) film based on a 1:1 (molar ratio) mixture of a non-amphiphile complex (Et4N)2[Zn(dmit)2] (H2dmit = 4,5-dimercapto-1,3-dithiole-2-thione) and Schiff base amphiphile 2,4-dihydroxy-N-octadecylbenzylideneamine (SBC18) was constructed and characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra and UV-vis electronic absorption spectra. After iodine was doped in situ, magnitude of charge transfer increases, which was demonstrated by FTIR and UV-vis absorption spectral analysis.  相似文献

The infrared, the Fourier transform infrared and Fourier transform Raman spectra of p-chlorobenzoic acid (p-CBA) has been recorded in the region 4000-600 cm(-1), 4000-400 cm(-1) and 4000-100 cm(-1), respectively. The optimized geometry, frequency and intensity of the vibrational bands of p-CBA were obtained by the ab initio HF and DFT (B3LYP) methods with complete relaxation in the potential energy surface using 6-311+G(d,p) basis set. The harmonic-vibrational frequencies were calculated and the scaled values have been compared with experimental FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra. The observed and the calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement. The experimental spectra also coincide satisfactorily with those of theoretically constructed bar type spectrograms.  相似文献

[1,4-13C2]-succinonitrile, [2,2,3,3-2H4]-succinonitrile, [1,4-13C2-2,2,3,3-2H4]-succinonitrile have been synthesized and, for the first time, the infrared and Raman spectra of these succinonitrile isotopomers have been discussed in detail. The spectra were recorded at ambient temperature and at the temperature of liquid nitrogen and assignments of the vibrational bands of all above isotopomers have been made. In addition to this, the force field of succinonitrile in its two configurations, gauche and trans, have been calculated using all experimental frequencies and the ab-initio method. Also, the assignments of the vibrational bands of the 'normal' succinonitrile molecule have been achieved using the results of the force field calculations to support the assignments for the normal succinonitrile, as well as for the isotopomers.  相似文献

Nine biologically active theophylline derivatives were investigated using quantum chemical methods (density functional theory level). All calculations were performed at B3LYP/6‐31G** level of theory. The electrostatic potential charges, highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)/lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) gap, dipole moment, vibration frequencies, and electronic spectra were calculated. Log P was determined by Ghose‐Crippen method. All of the compounds under study are polar and negatively charged, which is necessary for their interaction with the receptors/enzymes. Majority of the compounds are lipophilic and they can easily diffuse through the cell membrane. The observed differences between the calculated and the experimental vibration frequencies in the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) spectra are established to be mainly in NH and OH bands, due to hydrogen bonds formation. The discrepancies between theoretical and experimental electronic spectra may be due to vibration effects and H‐bonding with the solvent molecules. The obtained results show that this type of spectrum is formed mainly by the xanthine fragment of the molecule, especially in the fingerprint region. All calculated properties could be useful for future qualitative‐structure activity relationship (QSAR) analysis. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

二茂金属[M'(C~5H~5)~2]^1^+的盐与(NBu~4)~n[M(dmit)~2](M=Ni, Pd; N=1,2)反应, 当M'=Fe, Ni; n=1时, 分别得到了导电配合物[Ni(dmit)~2]和[Pd(dmit)~2]; 当M'=Co, n=1,2时, 分别得到的是电荷几乎不转移的4个盐[Co(C~5H~5)~2]~n[Ni(dmit)~2]和[Co(C~5H~5)~2]~n[Pd(dmit)~2]。用ESCA、Raman谱及循环伏安图讨论了上述化合物形成时的电荷转移量。尽管[M(dmit)~2]的室温电导率相当大, 但其电导率随温度的变化曲线表明它们属于半导体。EHCO能带计算给出[Ni(dmit)~2]的能隙0.112eV, 与实测的电导活化能相当接近。  相似文献
