We report the synthesis of free 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene (tape). Tape was obtained from 1,1'-bis-2,7-naphthyridine by potassium promoted cyclization followed by oxidation with air. Mono- and dinuclear ruthenium(II) 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene complexes of the general formulas [Ru(L-L)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2), [1](PF(6))(2)-[5](PF(6))(2), and [{Ru(L-L)(2)}(2)(μ-tape)](PF(6))(4), [6](PF(6))(4)-[10](PF(6))(4), with{L-L = phen, bpy, dmbpy (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), dtbbpy (4,4'-ditertbutyl-2,2'-bipyridine) and tmbpy (4,4'5,5'-tetramethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)}, respectively, were synthesized. The X-ray structures of tape·2CHCl(3) and the mononuclear complexes [Ru(bpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·0.5CH(3)CN·0.5toluene, [Ru(dmbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·2toluene and [Ru(dtbbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·3acetone·0.5H(2)O were solved. The UV-vis absorption spectra and the electrochemical behavior of the ruthenium(ii) tape complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous dibenzoeilatin (dbneil), 2,2'-bipyrimidine (bpym) and tetrapyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c:3',2'-h:2',3'-j]phenazin (tpphz) species.  相似文献

[NEt4]2[Tc(CO)3Cl3] reacts with thiosemicarbazones derived from 2,2'-dipyridyl ketone (HL3) and 4-acetylpyridine (HL4) to form stable technetium(I) complexes of the compositions [Tc(CO)3Cl(HL3-Npy,Npy)] and [Tc2(CO)6Cl2(micro-HL4-Npy,S)]. Whereas exclusively the pyridine nitrogen atoms are involved in coordination in the monomeric complex, the binuclear compound represents the first technetium complex with a coordinated thiosemicarbazone functionality.  相似文献

The complexes K[PtCl3(Meug)] (1; Meug = methyleugenol), K[PtCl3(Meteug)] (2; Meteug = methyl eugenoxyacetate), and K[PtCl3(Eteug)] (3; Eteug = ethyl eugenoxyacetate) reacted with AgNO3, SnCl2, KOH, or ethanol–water solutions to lose one aryl proton and form dinuclear metallacyclic complexes Pt2Cl2(Meug-1H)2 (4), Pt2Cl2(Meteug-1H)2 (5), and Pt2Cl2(Eteug-1H)2 (6), respectively. Complexes 4–6 reacted with aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic amines to give various mononuclear metallacyclic platinum complexes 7–15. 1H NMR spectra showed that in 4–15 Meug, Meteug, and Eteug are bound with Pt(II) both at the benzene carbon and at the ethylenic double bond of the side chain. NOESY spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction indicated that in 7–15 the amines are in cis-position with respect to the ethylenic double bond.  相似文献

Reaction of cyclometalated halide-bridged Pd(II) complexes 1-4 with the tertiary triphosphine ligand (Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh (triphos) yielded complexes [((Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh-P,P,P)Pd(N(Cy)=(H)C)C6H2(C(H)=N(Cy))Pd((Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh-P,P,P)][ClO4]2 5, [Pd(C6H4-N=NC6H5)((Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh-P,P,P)][ClO4] 6, and [Pd(R-C6H3C(H)=NCy)((Ph2PCH2CH2)2PPh-P,P,P)][ClO4] (7; R = 4-CHO, 8; 3-CHO). Spectroscopic and analytic data suggest five-coordination on the palladium atom, which, for complexes 5, 6, and 7, was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The geometry around palladium may be view as a distorted trigonal bipyramid, with the palladium, nitrogen, and terminal phosphorus atoms in the equatorial plane. Compound 5 is the first doubly cyclometalated palladium(II) compound with two pentacoordinated metal centers. The structure of 6 comprises two discrete cations with slightly different geometries, showing the importance of crystal packing forces in order to determine the coordination arrangement.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of four enantiopure tetradentate bis(iminoquinoline) ligands with nickel(II) salts is reported. The previously reported ligands CBQ, CPQ, BBQ, and BPQ result from the condensation of (1R,2R)-cyclohexyldiamine or (R)-BINAM with two equivalents of 2-formylbenzo[h]quinoline or 8-isopropyl-2-quinolinecarboxaldehyde {CBQ = (1R,2R)-cyclohexanediamine-N,N'-bis(benzo[h]quinoline-2-ylmethylene), CPQ = (1R,2R)-cyclohexanediamine-N,N'-bis[[(8-isopropyl)-2-quinolinyl]methylene], BBQ = [(R)-1,1'-binaphthalene]-2,2'-diamine-N,N'-bis(benzo[h]quinoline-2-ylmethylene), BPQ = [(R)-1,1'-binaphthalene]-2,2'-diamine-N,N'-bis[[(8-isopropyl)-2-quinolinyl]methylene]}. Reaction of NiI(2) with the (1R,2R)-cyclohexyl ligands gives the mononuclear distorted trigonal-bipyramidal (TBP) complexes [Ni(N(3)-CBQ)I(2)] and [Ni(N(3)-CPQ)I(2)]. Incomplete iodide abstraction from [Ni(N(3)-CPQ)I(2)] with AgOTf leads to partial replacement of the iodide with hydroxide from adventitious water to give [Ni(N(3)-CPQ)I(1.6)(OH)(0.4)] (distorted TBP). The corresponding reaction with [Ni(N(3)-CBQ)I(2)] again fails to remove all of the iodide, resulting instead in conversion to the syn dinuclear [Ni(2)(CBQ)(μ-X)(2)I(2)] (X = Cl(0.925)I(0.075)) complex, where chloride abstraction from the solvent (CH(2)Cl(2)) has resulted in a mixed halide system and the metal centers are square-pyramidal. Reaction of Ni(OTf)(2) with CBQ leads to the isolation of the octahedral cation [Ni(CMBQ)(2)](2+), with CMBQ [(1R,2R)-cyclohexanediamine-mono-N-(benzo[h]quinoline-2-ylmethylene)] being the partial hydrolysis product of CBQ. [Ni(CMBQ)(2)][OTf](2) crystallizes as a 1:1 mixture of P and M helical diastereomers. The coordination of NiI(2) with the (R)-BINAM derived ligands yields the anti dinuclear P-helical complexes [Ni(2)(BBQ)(μ-I)(2)I(2)] and [Ni(2)(BPQ)(μ-I)(2)I(2)]: one nickel ion is coordinated in each bidentate iminoquinoline pocket and the geometry at the metal centers is distorted square-pyramidal. Characterisation by (1)H NMR, UV-Vis, electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectroscopy, combustion analysis, and HRMS is reported in addition to structural and halide abstraction studies.  相似文献

It has been shown that the red chemiluminescence (CL) in the Belousov-Zhabotinskii system with Mn(II, III) cannot be attributed to the formation of excited oxygen or its dimers during the process. Chemiluminescence has been discovered upon the reduction of Mn(III) by malonic acid, and its spectrum coincides with the spectrum of the CL in the oscillatory system (with a maximum at 680–720 nm) and is found in the same region as the photoluminescence of Mn(II),- which is known from the literature data. It has been concluded that the principal emitter of the oscillatory CL is Mn(II), which is formed in an excited state upon the reduction of Mn(III).Translated from Teoreticheskaya i Éksperimental'naya Khimiya, Vol. 25, No. 2, pp. 191–197, March–April, 1989.  相似文献

Two Mn(II) complexes are isolated and X-ray characterized, namely, cis-[(L(2))Mn(II)(Cl)(2)] (1) and [(L(3))Mn(II)Cl(OH(2))](ClO(4)) (2(ClO(4))), where L(2) and L(3) are the well-known tetradentate N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine and N,N'-dimethyl-N,N'-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)propane-1,3-diamine ligands, respectively. The crystal structure reveals that whereas the ligand L(2) is in the cis-alpha conformation in complex 1, the ligand L(3) is in the more unusual cis-beta conformation in 2. EPR spectra are recorded on frozen solutions for both complexes and are characteristic of Mn(II) species. Electrochemical behaviors are investigated on acetonitrile solution for both complexes and show that cation 2 exists as closely related Mn(II) species in equilibrium. For both complexes exhaustive bulk electrolyses of acetonitrile solution are performed at oxidative potential in various experimental conditions. In the presence of 2,6-lutidine and after elimination of chloride ligands, the formation of the di-mu-oxo mixed-valent complexes [(L(2))Mn(III)(mu-O)(2)Mn(IV)(L(2))](3+) (3a) and [(L(3))Mn(III)(mu-O)(2)Mn(IV)(L(3))](3+) (4) is confirmed by UV-vis and EPR spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry. In addition crystals of 4(ClO(4))(3) were isolated, and the X-ray structure reveals the cis-alphaconformation of L(3). In the absence of 2,6-lutidine and without elimination of the exogenous chloride ions, the electrochemical oxidation of 1 leads to the formation of the mononuclear Mn(III) complex, namely, [(L(2))Mn(III)(Cl)(2)](+) (5), as confirmed by UV-vis as well as parallel mode EPR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. In the same conditions, the electrochemical oxidation of complex 2 is more intricate, and a thorough analysis of EPR spectra establishes the formation of the binuclear mono-mu-oxo mixed-valent [(L(3))ClMn(III)(mu-O)Mn(IV)Cl(L(3))](3+) (6) complexes. Electrochemical conversion of Mn(II) complexes into mixed-valent Mn(2)(III,IV) oxo-bridged complexes in the presence of 2,6-lutidine is discussed. The role of the chloride ligands as well as that of L(3) in the building of oxo bridges is discussed. Differences in behavior between L(2) and L(3) are commented on.  相似文献

The new double-Schiff-base ligand H6ipa-bhea has been synthesized by condensation of a 4,6-diformylresorcinol derivative (ipa) with two equivalents of N,N-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine (bhea). Reaction with copper(II) perchlorate leads to the formation of two different products depending on the reaction conditions. The directed synthesis of either a mononuclear or dinuclear copper(II) complex is reported. The reaction in methanol results in the formation of a dinuclear complex [Cu2(H4ipa-bhea)](ClO4)2 (1). Whereas in the presence of water as solvent for the reaction, one imine side chain of the ligand is hydrolyzed regenerating the formyl moiety with the mononuclear complex [Cu(H3hyforsa-bhea)]ClO4 · 2H2O (2) as final product. Subsequent reaction of complex 2 with N,N-bis-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)ethylenediamine (unspenp) as additional amine component results in the formation of the mononuclear complex [Cu(Hhyforsa-unspenp)]ClO4 (3). All complexes are characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and X-ray crystallography. Temperature-dependent magnetic measurements on the dinuclear complex indicate weak antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between the copper(II) ions with a coupling constant of J = ?16.4 cm?1. Density functional calculations have been used to evaluate the magnetic properties. The exchange coupling constant can be nicely reproduced with the use of the broken symmetry approach. The exchange pathway through the meta-phenylene-linkage is discussed in terms of a competitive spin-polarization and superexchange mechanism as well as geometrical changes at the copper(II) ions.  相似文献

Six Schiff-bases HL1-HL4, L5 and L6 [HL1 = 2,6-bis[1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrolidine-iminomethyl]-4-methyl-phenol, HL2 = 2,6-bis[1-(2-aminoethyl)piperidine-iminomethyl]-4-methyl-phenol, HL3 = N-{1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrolidine}salicylideneimine, HL4 = N-{1-(2-aminoethyl)piperidine}salicylideneimine, L5 = 2-benzoyl pyridine-N-{1-(2-aminoethyl)pyrolidine}, L6 = 2-benzoylpyridine-N-{1-(2-aminoethyl)piperidine}] have been synthesized and characterized. Zn(II) complexes of those ligands have been prepared by conventional sequential route as well as by template synthesis. The same complexes are obtained from the two routes as evident from routine physicochemical characterizations. All the Schiff-bases exhibit photoluminescence originating from intraligand (π–π*) transitions. Metal mediated fluorescence enhancement is observed on complexation of HL1-HL4 with Zn(II), whereas metal mediated fluorescence quenching occurs in Zn(II) complexes of L5 and L6.  相似文献

A series of [3 x 3] Mn(II)(9), antiferromagnetically coupled, alkoxide-bridged, square grid complexes, derived from a group of "tritopic" dihydrazide ligands, is described. The outer ring of eight Mn(II) centers in the grids is isolated magnetically from the central Mn(II) ion, leading to an S = 0 ground state for the ring, and an S = 5/2 ground state overall in each case. Exchange in the Mn(II)(8) ring can be represented by a 1D chain exchange model. Rich electrochemistry displayed by these systems has led to the production of Mn(II)/Mn(III) mixed-oxidation-state grids by both electrochemical and chemical means. Structures are reported for [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](C(2)N(3))(6).10H(2)O (1), [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](2)[Mn(NCS)(4)(H(2)O)](2)(NCS)(8).10H(2)O (2), [Mn(9)(2poapz)(6)](NO(3))(6).14.5H(2)O (3), [Mn(9)(2popp)(6)](NO(3))(6).12H(2)O (4), [Mn(9)(2pomp)(6)](MnCl(4))(2)Cl(2).2CH(3)OH.7H(2)O (5), and [Mn(9)(Cl2poap)(6)](ClO(4))(9).7H(2)O (6). Preliminary surface studies on Au(111), with a Mn(II) grid complex derived from a sulfur-derivatized ligand, indicate monolayer coverage via gold-sulfur interactions, and the potential for information storage at high-density levels.  相似文献

Three heterotetranuclear complexes, [{Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(L(n))}(3)Mn(II)](8+) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, n = 2, 4, 6), in which a Mn(II)-tris-bipyridine-like centre is covalently linked to three Ru(II)-tris-bipyridine-like moieties using bridging bis-bipyridine L(n) ligands, have been synthesised and characterised. The electrochemical, photophysical and photochemical properties of these complexes have been investigated in CH(3)CN. The cyclic voltammograms of the three complexes exhibit two successive very close one-electron metal-centred oxidation processes in the positive potential region. The first, which is irreversible, corresponds to the Mn(II)/Mn(III) redox system (E(pa) approximately 0.82 V vs Ag/Ag(+) 0.01 M in CH(3)CN-0.1 M Bu(4)NClO(4)), whereas the second which is, reversible, is associated with the Ru(II)/Ru(III) redox couple (E(1/2) approximately 0.91 V). In the negative potential region, three successive reversible four electron systems are observed, corresponding to ligand-based reduction processes. The three stable dimeric oxidized forms of the complexes, [Mn(2)(III,IV)O(2){Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(L(n))}(4)](11+), [Mn(2)(IV,IV)O(2){Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(L(n))}(4)](12+) and [Mn(2)(IV,IV)O(2){Ru(III)(bpy)(2)(L(n))}(4)](16+) are obtained in fairly good yields by sequential electrolyses after consumption of respectively 1.5, 0.5 and 3 electrons per molecule of initial tetranuclear complexes. The formation of the di-micro-oxo binuclear complexes are the result of the instability of the {[Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(L(n))](3)Mn(III)}(9+) species, which react with residual water, via a disproportionation reaction and the release of one ligand, [Ru(II)(bpy)(2)(L(n))](2+). A quantitative yield can be obtained for these reactions if the electrochemical oxidations are performed in the presence of an added external base like 2,6-dimethylpyridine. Photophysical properties of these compounds have been investigated showing that the luminescence of the Ru(II)-tris-bipyridine-like moieties is little affected by the presence of manganese within the tetranuclear complexes. A slight quenching of the excited states of the ruthenium moieties, which occurs by an intramolecular process, has been observed. Measurements made at low concentration (<1 x 10(-5) M) indicate that some decoordination of Mn(2+) arises in 1a-c. These measurements allow the calculation of the association constants for these complexes. Finally, photoinduced oxidation of the tetranuclear complexes has been performed by continuous photolysis experiments in the presence of a large excess of a diazonium salt, acting as a sacrificial oxidant. The three successive oxidation processes, Mn(II)--> Mn(III)Mn(IV), Mn(III)Mn(IV)--> Mn(IV)Mn(IV) and Ru(II)--> Ru(III) are thus obtained, the addition of 2,6-dimethylpyridine in the medium giving an essentially quantitative yield for the two first photo-induced oxidation steps as found for electrochemical oxidation.  相似文献

Treatment of [Cp′MH(CO)3] (M = Mo, W; Cp′ = η5-C5H5 (Cp), η5-C5Me5 (Cp*)) with 1/8 equiv of S8 in THF, followed by the reaction with dppe under UV irradiation, gave new mono(hydrosulfido) complexes [Cp′M(SH)(CO)(dppe)] (Cp′ = Cp: M = Mo (5), W (6); Cp′ = Cp*: M = Mo (7), W (8); dppe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2). When 5 and 6 dissolved in THF were allowed to react with [RhCl(PPh3)3] in the presence of base, heterodinuclear complexes with bridging S and dppe ligands [CpM(CO)(μ-S)(μ-dppe)Rh(PPh3)] (M = Mo (9), W(10)) were obtained. Semi-bridging feature of the CO ligands were also demonstrated. Upon standing in CH2Cl2 solutions, 9 and 10 were converted further to the dimerization products [(CpM)2{Rh(dppe)}22-CO)23-S)2] (M = Mo (13), W). Detailed structures of mononuclear 7 and 8, dinuclear 9 and tetranuclear 13 have been determined by the X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Two new dyads have been synthesized in which terminal Ru(II) and Os(II) polypyridine complexes are separated by sterically constrained spiro bridges. The photophysical properties of the corresponding mononuclear complexes indicate the importance of the decay of the lowest-energy triplet states localized on the metallo fragments through the higher-energy metal-centered excited states. This effect is minimized at 77 K, where triplet lifetimes are relatively long, and for the Os(II)-based systems relative to their Ru(II)-based counterparts. Intramolecular triplet energy transfer takes place from the Ru(II)-based fragment to the appended Os(II)-based unit, the rate constant being dependent on the molecular structure and on temperature. In all cases, the experimental rate constant matches surprisingly well with the rate constant calculated for F?rster-type dipole-dipole energy transfer. As such, the disparate rates shown by the two compounds can be attributed to stereochemical factors. It is further concluded that the spiro bridging unit does not favor through-bond electron exchange interactions, a situation confirmed by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Crystals of trans-Pt?(μ-X)?X?(CO)? (X = Br, I) have been grown and their molecular and crystalline structures have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods. In both cases the dinuclear molecules are bent, with a bending angle of 164.6° and 156.5° for the bromide and the iodide, respectively. While the structure of the bromo-derivative is reported here for the first time, a modification of trans-Pt?(μ-I)?I?(CO)? with planar centrosymmetric molecules is known. This appears to be a rare case of a platinum(II) halo-bridged derivative structurally characterized in both bent and planar forms.  相似文献
