An extended fractional wavelet joint transform correlator is implemented for real-time target recognition applications. The real-time input scene captured using a charge-coupled device camera along with the reference image is fractional Fourier transformed. The obtained joint power spectrum is multiplied by an appropriately scaled wavelet filter and the resultant function is differentiated. The application of wavelet filter enhances the correlation outputs and differential processing of wavelet-filtered joint power spectrum improves the detection efficiency by reducing the zero-order spectra. Targets with Gaussian and speckle noise have also been used to check the correlation output. The performance metrics: correlation peak intensity, peak-to-correlation energy, peak-to-sidelobe ratio and signal to clutter ratio have been calculated. The experimental results are presented in support of the proposed idea.  相似文献

In order to utilize the space of an input plane efficiently and make the optical structure more flexible, an image displacement measurement based on phase-encoded reference joint fractional transform correlator (PER-JFrTC) is proposed. We use a random phase mask to encode the reference image and overlay it with the target image forming the input image. Joint power spectrum (JPS) of the input image is obtained by Fourier transform and the resultant is encoded by the same phase mask. Then a fractional Fourier transform with an order p is applied to the phase-encoded JPS (PJPS), resulting in a correlation output with a sharp cross-correlation peak, which includes the displacement information between the reference and the target image. Contrast to displacement measurement based on traditional joint transform correlator (JTC), PER-JFrTC can use the space of the input plane efficiently and reduces the influence of the auto-correlation. Also the position of cross-correlation peak can be fixed arbitrarily according to the fractional order p as well as the optical set-up can be more flexible and easier to implement. Results based on digital computation show that PER-JFrTC could detect the displacement accurately and verify our proposal. A possible optical set-up is suggested.  相似文献

A displacement measurement technology based on joint fractional Fourier transform is firstly proposed. Contrast to conventional displacement measurement based on joint Fourier transform correlator, the position of cross correlation peak in the proposed technology could be fixed arbitrarily according to the order of fractional Fourier transform. The optical setup in the proposed technology is more flexible and easier to implement. Simulation and experiment results are given out to verify the analysis.  相似文献

We present an effective method to enhance target detection and recognition by Canny algorithm, which can obtain the continuous and distinct image edges, also suppress back-ground noise effectively, for this reason, correlation output processed by our proposed method provides higher discrimination than the classical JTC. Computer simulations demonstrate the improved method can obviously suppress noise and sidelobes, also enhance the performance of detection and recognition for JTC. An optoelectronic hybrid JTC is constructed to verify the efficiency. Experimental results present the sharp correlation peak and also confirm the method effectiveness.  相似文献

提出了一种可用于多目标识别的联合变换相关器。为改善相关信号的性能,对功率谱作了优化处理。为消除相关面上的零级项和目标间的相关项,可用联合功率谱减去纯目标输入的功率谱和参考图像的功率谱;为增强和锐化相关峰,将相减的功率谱作指数函数滤波处理。分析了指数滤波参数对相关结果的影响。计算机模拟结果表明,这种相关器所输出的相关信号比经典联合变换相关器和二元联合变换相关器输出的相关信号更好,互相关得到了抑制,自相关得到了增强,具有很好的抗噪能力。  相似文献

A sliced orthogonal nonlinear generalized (SONG) decomposition based version of modified fringe-adjusted joint transform correlator (MFJTC), SBFJTC, is proposed. In SBFJTC scheme, the reference and input scenes are decomposed into a set of binary slices through SONG decomposition. MFJTC filtering of each pair of binary slices, corresponding to the same gray level of reference and input scene, is performed and then the outputs are added. Numerical simulations show that the proposed scheme delivers a better correlation performance and robustness to the white additive Gaussian noise, substitutive noise and nonoverlapping noise than that of both of the FJTC and the MFJTC.  相似文献

A conventional joint transform correlator (JTC) often generates large correlation sidelobes as well as a large correlation peak width, strong zero-order peak, and low diffraction efficiency in target detection and recognition, which make the detection ability of JTC lower. To conquer these difficulties, firstly, a joint power spectrum (JPS) subtraction technique was proposed in Fourier plane, where power spectrum of reference image and power spectrum of object image are subtracted from the JPS before inverse Fourier-transform operation, it is evident that the improved JPS removes the zero-order term. Secondly, a fringe-adjusted filter (FAF) was presented to restrain sidelobes and noises. The revised JPS is multiplied by a FAF before the inverse Fourier-transform operation to obtain the cross-correlation peak. Computer simulations showed the improved method can markedly eliminate zero-order diffraction and effectively control the sidelobes and noises compared to traditional JTC, and then enhance the detection ability for JTC. Experimental results presented the sharp correlation peak and also demonstrated this approach effectiveness.  相似文献

A new optical image watermarking technique based on compressive sensing using joint Fresnel transform correlator architecture has been presented. A secret scene or image is first embedded into a host image to perform optical image watermarking by use of joint Fresnel transform correlator architecture. Then, the watermarked image is compressed to much smaller signal data using single-pixel compressive holographic imaging in optical domain. At the received terminal, the watermarked image is reconstructed well via compressive sensing theory and a specified holographic reconstruction algorithm. The preliminary numerical simulations show that it is effective and suitable for optical image security transmission in the coming absolutely optical network for the reason of the completely optical implementation and largely decreased holograms data volume.  相似文献

When real time optical pattern recognition is carried out by means of spatial light modulators, a practical situation may arise in which the size of the Fourier transform and the intensity of the light source are fixed. Then, provided the input scene and the size of the spatial light modulator allow it, an interesting possibility for improving the overall intensity in the Fourier plane is the replication of the scene, either along a regular lattice structure or a random replication. In this work we analyse the usefulness of these methods, both to obtain diffraction images or cross-correlation between images in a joint transform correlator.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel pattern recognition system for invariance to noise and distortions. The technique first generates a synthetic discriminant function of the target image from its different distorted versions. It then takes four different phase-shifted versions of the reference image, which are individually joint transform correlated with the given input scene. Thus the proposed algorithm produces a single cross-correlation signal corresponding to each potential target. Also a fringe-adjusted filter is designed to generate a delta-like correlation peak with high discrimination between the signal and the noise. The pattern recognition system is also designed for the identification of multiple targets belonging to multiple reference objects simultaneously in a given input scene. The proposed technique is investigated using computer simulation including real-life images in different complex environments.  相似文献

A novel nonlinear image encryption scheme based on a fully phase nonzero-order joint transform correlator architecture (JTC) in the Gyrator domain (GD) is proposed. In this encryption scheme, the two non-overlapping data distributions of the input plane of the JTC are fully encoded in phase and this input plane is transformed using the Gyrator transform (GT); the intensity distribution captured in the GD represents a new definition of the joint Gyrator power distribution (JGPD). The JGPD is modified by two nonlinear operations with the purpose of retrieving the encrypted image, with enhancement of the decrypted signal quality and improvement of the overall security. There are three keys used in the encryption scheme, two random phase masks and the rotation angle of the GT, which are all necessary for a proper decryption. Decryption is highly sensitivity to changes of the rotation angle of the GT as well as to little changes in other parameters or keys. The proposed encryption scheme in the GD still preserves the shift-invariance properties originated in the JTC-based encryption in the Fourier domain. The proposed encryption scheme is more resistant to brute force attacks, chosen-plaintext attacks, known-plaintext attacks, and ciphertext-only attacks, as they have been introduced in the cryptanalysis of the JTC-based encryption system. Numerical results are presented and discussed in order to verify and analyze the feasibility and validity of the novel encryption–decryption scheme.  相似文献

An image-encrypted joint transform correlator for pattern recognition is proposed and evaluated. The correlator performs twofold correlation for recognizing the primary image and cipher, and the encrypting cipher acts to enhance or inhibit the correlation peak if the cipher is correctly input. By incorporating the original image with an appropriate cipher, the correlator achieves better pattern discrimination and is robust against distortion. Simulation results show that the pixel number and the cell size of cipher affect the characteristics of the correlator.  相似文献

为了测量卫星姿态不稳定或振动等原因引起的空间相机亚像元像移,设计了基于联合变换相关器的像移测量试验系统。阐述了该方法的数学原理,面阵CCD的安装位置以及输入图像序列的获取方法。根据相关参数确定了试验系统的傅里叶透镜结构和参数,最终设计了试验系统。应用线性插值和像元合并方法获得具有亚像元像移的图像果表明,像移测量的精度不随景物的内容而变化,测量得到的像移误差均方根值<0.2pixel。  相似文献

We propose a rotation-invariant nonlinear correlator based on circular harmonic filter (CHF) and morphological Fringe-adjusted Joint Transform correlation (MFJTC). We refer to this correlator as a rotation-invariant MFJTC (RIMFJTC). Through computer simulation, we compare the output results of RIMFJTC with those of rotation-invariant MC (RIMC) and CHF when input scene is corrupted by salt-and-pepper noise, white additive Gaussian noise and cluttered background. Our results show that RIMFJTC yields higher discriminability, sharper and higher correlation peaks, and displays better stability against the above three kinds of noise than do the RIMC and common CHF.  相似文献

The optical speckle–displacement correlation technique (OSDCT) is proposed for study of in-plane speckle displacements. The joint transform correlator architecture is used to evaluate the displacements of speckle subimages of strained surfaces. The procedure of the correlation response producing as a result of cross-correlation of strainless and strained surfaces in a conventional joint transform correlator (JTC) is considered. The convenient techniques for a joint power spectrum transformation are selected. The systematic and random errors of a mean speckle pattern displacement of a rigid body motion calculated by using the OSDCT and the digital speckle–displacement measurement technique are compared. The robustness of some JTC versions (a conventional JTC, a JTC with median thresholding, a JTC with subset median thresholding, and a fringe adjusted filter JTC) to input noise of speckle patterns and output noise of a correlation response is studied.  相似文献

对联合变换相关器的功率谱进行对数变换可强化其高频分量,锐化相关峰,但同时也会增强其噪声成分,影响抗噪性能。针对这一问题,提出了一种改进的对数联合变换相关器模型。通过改变对数函数形式来提高对数联合变换相关器的抗噪能力。计算机仿真结果表明,在附加高斯白噪声、非重叠低频和高频有色噪声的条件下,改进的对数联合变换相关器的抗噪能力均优于传统的对数联合变换相关器。  相似文献

In this paper, we implement a wavelet-modified maximum average correlation height (WaveMACH) filter for recognition of 0-360° out-of-plane rotated targets employing hybrid digital-optical correlator architecture. A chirp function is used with the synthesized WaveMACH filter, which focuses the correlation signals in three different planes, thereby providing the choice of recording a single correlation peak at a particular plane. Subband multiresolution technique presents decomposition and reconstruction properties for 2D images using multichannel spatial filtering. Each subband image represents multiresolution of the input image. In this paper, optic subband multiresolution architecture is proposed based on multi-object phase-only joint transform correlator (JTC). Multichannel filtering is realized using multi-object input joint image that includes bipolar data. The bipolar data (containing positive, zero and negative values) is encoded by phase in the input and Fourier planes of the phase-only JTC. For image decomposition and reconstruction, two optoelectronic subband multiresolution architectures have been developed. Each architecture has been tested using a simulation program.  相似文献

对基于联合变换相关器的像移测量数学原理进行了说明,介绍了面阵CCD的安装位置以及输入图像的获取方法,分析了低信噪比输入图像、相对转动位移对测量精度的影响。应用MATLAB对输入图像进行傅里叶变换得到联合功率谱,对二值化处理的功率谱进行傅里叶变换得到相关输出,用质量中心算法计算出像移量。分析得出,输入图像信噪比大于5dB,测量均方误差小于0.05像素;输入图像相对转动位移在0.1°的范围内,转动位移对测量精度和峰噪比的影响可以忽略不计。综合分析表明像移测量均方误差小于0.05像素。  相似文献
