The statistical properties of the estimated eye aberrations differ in general from the actual ones owing to the cross coupling and aliasing generated in the estimation process. In particular, the estimated Zernike aberration coefficients may show fictitious correlations that are not present in the incoming wavefronts. This fact should be taken into account when analyzing estimated aberration datasets, searching for correlations related to physiological eye features. We give an analytical model for this effect and evaluate its magnitude for a particular example, assuming that the true aberration statistics follows a Kolmogorov power law.  相似文献

A new approach to the theory of temporal aberration for cathode lenses is given in the present paper. A definition of temporal aberration is given in which a certain initial energy of electron emission along the axial direction εz1 (0εz1ε0max) is considered. A new method to calculate the temporal aberration coefficients of cathode lenses named “direct integral method” is also presented. The “direct integral method” gives new expressions of the temporal aberration coefficients which are expressed in integral forms. The difference between “direct integral method” and “τ-variation method” is that the “τ-variation method” needs to solve the differential equations for the three of temporal geometrical aberration coefficients of second order, while the “direct integral method” only needs to carry out the integral calculation for all of these temporal aberration coefficients of second order.All of the formulae of the temporal aberration coefficients deduced from “direct integral method” and “τ-variation method” have been verified by an electrostatic concentric spherical system model, and contrasted with the analytical solutions. Results show that these two methods have got identical solutions and the solutions of temporal aberration coefficients of the first and second order are the same as with the analytical solutions. Although some forms of the results seem different, but they can be transformed into the same form. Thus, it can be concluded these two methods given by us are equivalent and correct, but the “direct integral method” is related to solve integral equations, which is more convenient for computation and could be suggested for use in practical design.  相似文献

以像差理论为指导分析了混合望远物镜中二元光学透镜与转像棱镜之间的像差补偿问题.计算了二元光学器件的相位系数,确定了含补偿棱镜望远物镜的初始结构.用CODE V光学设计软件对望远物镜初始结构优化后的像差结果表明:系统色差在0.9相对孔径高度得到了校正,纵向球差在容限范围0.5 mm之内,最大横向误差为-0.115 mm.  相似文献

By analysis of the dependence of longitudinal spherical aberration on the numerical aperture, it is possible to find such values of the numerical aperture, where spherical aberration is zero. Such values of the numerical aperture are called correction zones. The work theoretically analyses the described problem and equations are given for wave aberration coefficients using correction zones for spherical aberration of the third and the fifth order. Our work presents an analysis of optimal values of correction zones and an optimal position of the center of the reference sphere based on the variance of wave aberration for the image quality evaluation. Relations are described for calculation of correction zones of an optical system having an identical position of the optimal image plane for two values of the f-number. The analysis of optical systems using correction zones is performed on an example.  相似文献

关于动态电子光学成像系统的时间像差理论,计算时间像差系数有两种方法——τ变分法和直接积分法.它们的差别在于:τ变分法计算二级几何时间像差系数必须求解微分方程,而直接积分法仅需进行积分运算.采用静电同心球系统的理想模型对这两种方法的正确 性进行了检验.结果表明:这两种方法求解电子光学成像系统的时间像差系数的结果完全一致,所求得的时间色差系数与理想模型的解析解完全相同,从而证明两种方法是等价并且正确的.通过验证表明,直接积分法的计算更为简便,适于实际系统的计算与设计. 关键词: 阴极透镜 电子光学成像系统 动态电子光学 时间像差理论  相似文献

In this paper, differential algebra is applied to calculate arbitrary high-order chromatic aberrations of electrostatic electron lenses. Expressions of differential algebraic form of high-order combined chromatic aberration coefficients are obtained and arbitrary-order chromatic aberrations can be calculated numerically. As an example, a typical Schiske's electrostatic lens has been studied. All the first- to third-order chromatic aberration coefficients of the lens have been calculated, and the pattern of the first-order chromatic aberration has been given as well.  相似文献

Off-axial optical systems are an extended concept of co-axial optical systems, where deflection surfaces are arranged along the folded reference axis. A newly proposed aberration expression with two kinds of 4-element vectors is simple and comprehensive in its order relation for off-axial optical systems. Using these vectors and tensor algebra, it is shown that aberration expansion coefficients for an arbitrary azimuth can be calculated by transforming the coefficients of 4-element fundamental ray vectors, and the aberration contributions of each surface are in general represented not in simple sum form, but in converted sum form. The aberration contribution of cross terms that exist over the third order, can also be clearly represented using tensor coefficient representation. This paraxial and aberration analysis of off-axial optical systems is very useful in the actual design of optical systems.  相似文献

We propose to implement a modal wavefront sensor (MWS) using a multiplexed phase computer-generated hologram (MPCGH). Based on general orthogonal aberration modes, the theoretical treatments of the MWS employing a MPCGH are presented with scalar diffraction approximations and Fourier analysis. Under the small aberration approximations, we give the analytical formula for characterizing the relationship between the sensor signal and the amplitude of the aberration mode. We design several MPCGHs with an effective method of modified off-axis reference beam holograms superposition, and code some common orthogonal Zernike aberration modes into the MPCGH. The numerical simulation is carried out to investigate the performance of MWS to detect particular aberration mode(s). The results exhibit the expected responses of the corresponding symmetric spot pair, and indicate that the wavefront distorted by a special Zernike aberration mode, after modulated by the MPCGH, can be transformed into beams with an intensity-normalized differential signal, which can reflect the change trend of the aberration coefficients in the test wavefront. The experimental demonstration with designed MPCGHs in conjunction with two phase-only spatial light modulators was carried out to test the performance of the MWS.  相似文献

In order to further improve the resolution for a high-resolution electron hologram, the aberration working on the hologram must be corrected. Since it is rather difficult to precisely control aberration coefficients in the experimental stage, we proposed an amplitude contrast D criterion of imaging wave to determine the working aberration from the hologram itself. In the determination or correction of the aberration, we assume a symmetrical aberration function is parameterized only by a spherical aberration coefficient and a defocus value. First, D is calculated from a holographically reconstructed imaging wave of YBa(2)Cu(3)O(7-x) for each combination of these parameters. The working aberration on the imaging wave is determined from the combination of the parameters by noting the maximum or minimum D of the imaging wave at some specifically chosen thickness regions. The theoretical validity for the D criterion is then proved with three-beam dynamical diffraction formula. Finally, the 'experimental' examination for the D criterion is successfully performed on the reconstructed image wave for the Sigma=9 interface structure of a wedge-shaped silicon sample.  相似文献

An aberrometer was used to measure the monochromatic aberration of 219 eyes in a population of 113 myopic subjects. The Zernike expansion was used to describe the wavefront aberration of the human eyes. From the distribution of Zernike coefficients, the means of almost all Zernike coefficients are approximately zero, and the mean absolute values of Zernike coefficients convey the level of aberration for our study population. Based on the distribution of Zernike coefficients, the averaged optical quality was computed in different methods. The mean MTF and PSF of individual eyes represent the optical quality for a typical myopic eye. Through the calculation of the visual benefits expected from correcting Zernike modes, a large expected visual benefit can be achieved across all spatial frequencies after correcting 5 Zernike modes. Furthermore, the larger improvement of optical quality can be achieved with correcting more Zernike modes at a higher spatial frequency.  相似文献

In imaging electron optics, study of geometrical lateral aberrations of third order and paraxial lateral aberrations of second order has traditionally been paid more attention to, but the existence of paraxial chromatic aberrations of third order and paraxial chromatic aberrations of magnification of third order was almost ignored, and the general form of paraxial lateral aberration has not been studied theoretically.In the present paper, the paraxial lateral aberrations expressed in general form have been derived emphatically on the basis of asymptotic solutions of paraxial equation. The relationship between the coefficients of asymptotic solutions has been investigated, which proves that the coefficients of asymptotic solutions are related each other. Through a bi-electrode electrostatic spherical concentric system model, two special solutions expressed by asymptotic solutions and accurate solutions in a bi-electrode electrostatic spherical concentric system have been deduced, and the paraxial lateral aberrations have been verified and tested, in which the aberration coefficients are solved by asymptotic solutions of paraxial equation. Result completely proves that the approach based on asymptotic solutions to solve the paraxial lateral aberrations are practicable and accurate enough. The paraxial chromatic aberration of magnification of third order and the paraxial chromatic aberration of third order have been firstly derived, and the Recknagel-Artimovich formula of paraxial chromatic aberration of second order which possess an greatest part in the whole paraxial lateral aberrations has been deduced and confirmed. A simple and clear form for expressing paraxial lateral aberrations of imaging electron optics is suggested for practical use. Results of the present paper will have theoretical value for aberration theory of imaging electron optics and practical significance for the design of image tubes.  相似文献

The matrizant method is used to study the nonlinear dynamics of charged particles in magnetic sector analyzers. The calculations of matrizants (transfer matrices) allow for both fringing-field effects due to the stray field and higher harmonics of the sector magnetic field (up to the third order). For the rectangular distribution of the field components along the optical axis, analytical expressions for the aberration coefficients (including dispersion ones) are derived up to the third order. In the simulation of real fields with a nonzero stray-field width, the smooth distribution of the field components is employed. The aberration coefficients for this distribution were calculated by means of a conservative numerical method.  相似文献

The diagram of axis intercept (Nishi and Takaoka [1]) is extended to consider the energy dispersion characteristic. The operating condition of core-lenses can be optimized by taking into account not only the aperture aberration but also the chromatic aberration. The diagram is applied to a typical core-lens system configured with three point charges of different polarities and is plotted as a function of the electron energy in addition to the starting angle. Near the stigmatic condition, the diagram fits the quadratic dependence on both the energy dispersion and the beam tilt angle. Then, the coefficients of aperture aberration, energy dispersion and chromatic aberration are obtained.  相似文献

 使用有限元法计算了硅镜在DF化学激光器非稳腔输出的中空非均匀激光辐照下镜面温升和反射面面形随时间变化的特性,使用65阶Zernike多项式对镜面面形进行了曲面拟合,使用光线追迹的方法计算了平行光束经不同数量硅镜反射后的光束波前分布PV值、Strehl比和Zernike像差系数随时间变化的特性。计算结果表明:在典型的DF激光器输出的中空方形光束辐照下,硅反射镜的热变形将使反射光束产生波前畸变,波前畸变中,y方向像散项占据主要地位,其次是离焦项;随着激光系统中反射镜面数量的增加,高阶像差系数将逐渐增大,且波前PV值与反射次数成线性关系。  相似文献

利用Richards-Wolf矢量衍射积分公式,获得线偏振贝塞耳-高斯光束经具有初级慧差的高数值孔径系统聚焦后的三维光场复振幅函数,根据复振幅函数模拟了不同慧差系数下线偏振贝塞耳-高斯光束各分量及总光场在焦平面上的光强分布模式。研究结果表明,初级慧差使线偏振贝塞耳-高斯光束聚焦光场在焦平面的分布由双轴对称变成单轴对称,光强模式发生改变;各分量及总光场的光强模式中的光斑位置随初级慧差系数的增大偏离光轴;大的初级慧差使焦平面出现干涉条纹。  相似文献

A differential algebraic (DA) method has been developed for the aberration analysis of electron mirrors. Since large ray slopes occur near the turning points in mirrors, the axial position is no longer suitable as the independent variable and the electron trajectory equation used in conventional lens theory is no longer feasible. A DA solution of the electron motion equation, wherein a single DA ray trace is performed on a non-standard extension of real number space called nDv, enables the aberrations of a mirror system to be obtained, in principle up to arbitrary order n, and with very high accuracy, due to the remarkable algebraic properties of nDv. With the DA method, the enormous effort to derive explicit formulae for the aberration coefficients of electron mirrors is avoided. A software package MIRROR_DA has been developed for the aberration analysis of electron mirrors, based on the DA method. Two examples of electron mirrors are presented. For the first example, for which the electrostatic and magnetic fields are represented by analytical models, the results computed with MIRROR_DA were shown to be in good agreement with those extracted by direct ray tracing, with relative deviations of less than 0.065% for all the primary aberration coefficients. The second example consists of a real magnetic lens and electrostatic mirror, with numerically computed fields, and from the results of MIRROR_DA, the spherical aberration coefficient Cs3 is almost cancelled out because of the correction effect of the mirror. The MIRROR_DA software is a novel, effective and precise tool for the aberration analysis of electron mirrors, capable of handling realistic and complicated systems of electron lenses and electron mirrors.  相似文献
