We propose a new Benney-like lattice and show that the new system of equations can be reduced to Chaplygin gas-like equations as well as the heavenly equation. We construct two infinite sets of conserved charges. The conserved densities are related to Legendre polynomials. We prove that the system is bi-Hamiltonian and that the conserved charges are in involution with respect to either of the Hamiltonian structures. We show that our Lax operator generates a new dispersionless Toda hierarchy.  相似文献

We develop a new method for constructing integrable Hamiltonian hierarchies of Lax type equations, which combines the fractional powers technique of Gelfand and Dickey, and the classical Hamiltonian reduction technique of Drinfeld and Sokolov. The method is based on the notion of an Adler type matrix pseudodifferential operator and the notion of a generalized quasideterminant. We also introduce the notion of a dispersionless Adler type series, which is applied to the study of dispersionless Hamiltonian equations. Non-commutative Hamiltonian equations are discussed in this framework as well.  相似文献

Given a classical r-matrix on a Poisson algebra, we show how to construct a natural family of compatible Poisson structures for the Hamiltonian formulation of Lax equations. Examples for which our formalism applies include the Benny hierarchy, the dispersionless Toda lattice hierarchy, the dispersionless KP and modified KP hierarchies, the dispersionless Dym hierarchy, etc. Received: 10 February 1998 / Accepted: 9 December 1998  相似文献

We investigate multi-dimensional Hamiltonian systems associated with constant Poisson brackets of hydrodynamic type. A complete list of two- and three-component integrable Hamiltonians is obtained. All our examples possess dispersionless Lax pairs and an infinity of hydrodynamic reductions.  相似文献

It is shown that perturbed rings of the primary chiral fields of the topological minimal models coincide with some particular solutions of the dispersionless Lax equations. The exact formulae for the tree level partition functions ofA n topological minimal models are found. The Virasoro constraints for the analogue of the -function of the dispersionless Lax equation corresponding to these models are proved.  相似文献

The bi-Hamiltonian structure of integrable supersymmetric extensions of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation related to theN=1 and theN=2 superconformal algebras is found. It turns out that some of these extensions admit inverse Hamiltonian formulations in terms of presymplectic operators rather than in terms of Poisson tensors. For one extension related to theN=2 case additional symmtries are found with bosonic parts that cannot be reduced to symmetries of the classical KdV. They can be explained by a factorization of the corresponding Lax operator. All the bi-Hamiltonian formulations are derived in a systematic way from the Lax operators.  相似文献

With the help of a simple Lie algebra, an isospectral Lax pair, whose feature presents decomposition of element (1, 2) into a linear combination in the temporal Lax matrix, is introduced for which a new integrable hierarchy of evolution equations is obtained, whose Hamiltonian structure is also derived from the trace identity in which contains a constant γ to be determined. In the paper, we obtain a general formula for computing the constant γ. The reduced equations of the obtained hierarchy are the generalized nonlinear heat equation containing three-potential functions, the mKdV equation and a generalized linear KdV equation. The algebro-geometric solutions (also called finite band solutions) of the generalized nonlinear heat equation are obtained by the use of theory on algebraic curves. Finally, two kinds of gauge transformations of the spatial isospectral problem are produced.  相似文献

We study the supersymmetric N=1 hierarchy connected with the Lax operator of the supersymmetric Sawada-Kotera equation. This operator produces the physical equations as well as the exotic equations with odd time. The odd Bi-Hamiltonian structure for the N=1 supersymmetric Sawada-Kotera equation is defined. The product of the symplectic and implectic Hamiltonian operator gives us the recursion operator. In that way we prove the integrability of the supersymmetric Sawada-Kotera equation in the sense that it has the Bi-Hamiltonian structure. The so-called “quadratic” Hamiltonian operator of even order generates the exotic equations while the “cubic” odd Hamiltonian operator generates the physical equations.  相似文献

Starting from a 3 × 3 matrix spectral problem, we derive a hierarchy of nonlinear equations. It is shown that the hierarchy possesses bi-Hamiltonian structure. Under the symmetry constraints between the potentials and the eigenfunctions, Lax pair and adjoint Lax pairs including partial part and temporal part are nonlinearied into two finitedimensional Hamiltonian systems (FDHS) in Liouville sense. Moreover, an explicit N-fold Darboux transformation for CDNS equation is constructed with the help of a gauge transformation of the spectral problem.  相似文献

We present a matrix coupled dispersionless(CD) system. A Lax pair for the matrix CD system is proposed and Darboux transformation is constructed on the solutions of the matrix CD system and the associated Lax pair. We express an N soliton formula for the solutions of the matrix CD system in terms of quasideterminants. By using properties of the quasideterminants, we obtain some exact solutions, including bright and dark-type solitons, rogue wave and breather solutions of the matrix CD system. Furthermore, it has been shown that the solutions of the matrix CD system are expressed in terms of solutions to the usual CD system, sine-Gordon equation and Maxwell-Bloch system.  相似文献

In [W.X. Ma, J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 40 (2007) 15055], Prof. Ma gave a beautiful result (a discrete variational identity). In this Letter, based on a discrete block matrix spectral problem, a new hierarchy of Lax integrable lattice equations with four potentials is derived. By using of the discrete variational identity, we obtain Hamiltonian structure of the discrete soliton equation hierarchy. Finally, an integrable coupling system of the soliton equation hierarchy and its Hamiltonian structure are obtained through the discrete variational identity.  相似文献

We consider six-dimensional heavenly equation as a reduction in the framework of general six-dimensional linearly degenerate dispersionless hierarchy. We characterise the reduction in terms of wave functions, introduce generating relation, Lax–Sato equations and develop the dressing scheme for the reduced hierarchy. Using the dressing scheme, we construct a class of solutions for six-dimensional heavenly equation in terms of implicit functions.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with a modified complex short pulse (mCSP) equation of defocusing type. Firstly, we show that the mCSP equation is linked to a complex coupled dispersionless equation of defocusing type via a hodograph transformation, thus, its Lax pair can be deduced. Then the bilinearization of the defocusing mCSP equation is formulated via dependent variable and hodograph transformations. One- and two-dark soliton solutions are found by Hirota’s bilinear method and their properties are analyzed. It is shown that, depending on the parameters, the dark soliton solution can be either smoothed, cusponed or looped one. More specifically, the dark soliton tends to be evolved into a singular (cusponed or looped) one due to the increase of the spatial wave number in background plane waves and the increase of the depth of the trough. In the last part of the paper, we derive the defocusing mCSP equation from the single-component extended KP hierarchy by the reduction method. As a by-product, the N-dark soliton solution in the form of determinants for the defocusing mCSP is provided.  相似文献

The supercomplexification is a special method of N = 2 supersymmetrization of the integrable equations in which the bosonic sector can be reduced to the complex version of these equations. The N = 2 supercomplex Korteweg-de Vries, Sawada-Kotera and Kaup-Kupershmidt equations are defined and investigated. The common attribute of the supercomplex equations is appearance of the odd Hamiltonian structures and superfermionic conservation laws. The odd bi-Hamiltonian structure, Lax representation and superfermionic conserved currents for new N = 2 supersymmetric Korteweg-de Vries equation and for Sawada-Kotera one, are given.  相似文献

Starting from a specific matrix iso-spectral problem, an associated hierarchy of multi-component Hamiltonian equations is constructed, based on zero curvature equations. The key point is to choose appropriate time parts of Lax pairs which can yield evolution equations, and the existence of a Hamiltonian structure for the obtained hierarchy is established by means of the trace identity. An example with five components is computed, along with its Hamiltonian structure.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a three-component Camassa-Holm (3CH) system with cubic nonlinearity and peaked solitons (peakons). The 3CH model is proven to be integrable in the sense of Lax pair, Hamiltonian structure, and conservation laws. We show that this system admits peakons and multi-peakon solutions. Additionally, reductions of the 3CH system are investigated so that a new integrable perturbed CH equation with cubic nonlinearity is generated to possess peakon solutions.  相似文献

We present new supersymmetric integrable extensions of the a = 4, N = 2 KdV hierarchy. The root of the supersymmetric Lax operator of the KdV equation is generalized, by including additional fields. This generalized root generates a new hierarchy of integrable equations, for which we investigate the Hamiltonian structure. In a special case our system describes the interaction of the KdV equation with the two MKdV equations.  相似文献

An N=1 supersymmetric generalization of coupled dispersionless (SUSY-CD) integrable system has been proposed by writing its superfield Lax representation. It has been shown that under a suitable variable transformation, the SUSY-CD integrable system is equivalent to N=1 supersymmetric sine-Gordon equation. A superfield bilinear form of SUSY-CD integrable system has been proposed by using super Hirota operator. Explicit expressions of superfield soliton solutions of SUSY-CD integrable system have been obtained by using the Hirota method.  相似文献
