利用自编程序MOPAC-ET中AM1方法,及KT(Koopman'sTheorem)法,研究了二苯负离子体系的分子间电子转移现象,计算了其电子供、受体在不同距离下的V~A~B及它们之间的相关性,另外,还对两苯环间不同介入基团对电子转移的影响做了初步研究,发现不同的介入基团存在着较大的差异。  相似文献

The rates of the electron self‐exchange between uranyl(VI) and uranyl(V) complexes in solution have been investigated in detail with quantum chemical methods. The calculations have shown that the bond length of U? Oyl is elongated by 0.1 Å when the extra electron is localized on the sites. The diabatic potential surfaces are obtained. The inner reorganization energies are 212.6 and 226.8 kJ mol?1 for hydroxide and fluoride bridge systems, respectively. The solvent reorganization energies are 28.12 and 31.60 kJ mol?1 for hydroxide and fluoride bridge systems, respectively. The nuclear frequency factors are 3.17 × 1013 and 3.12 × 1013 s?1 for hydroxide and fluoride bridge systems, respectively. The electronic coupling matrix elements are 1.89 and 4.06 kJ mol?1 for hydroxide and fluoride bridge systems, respectively. 用电子转移的半经典模型和量子化学半经验方法对色氨酸-酪氨酸二肽体系进行电子转移动力学参数计算.用AM1方法分别优化给体、受体和桥体几何构型,用线性反应坐标的构造了给体和受体分子间电子转移的双势阱,得到两透热势能面交叉处的反应坐标为R=(约等于)0.10,并确定了反应的内重组能及反应热.对色氨酰酪氨酸和酪氨酰色氨酸体系进行闭壳层HF自洽场计算,按Koopmans定理计算体系分子轨道分裂能值A(三角形),在R约为0处发现了A(三角形)的极小值,从而获得色氨酰酪氨酸及酪氨酰色氨酸体系分子内电子转移的电子转移矩阵元V~D~A分别为0.96kJ.mol^-^1和0.87kJ.mol^-^1.采用Marcus双球模型估算反应的溶剂重组能为64.60kJ.mol^-^1。  相似文献

利用级联方程方法研究了反转区的电子转移速率与电子态耦合常数以及溶剂弛豫时间的关系.结果表随着电子态间耦合强度的增加,反应速率先增加然后减小,而随着溶剂弛豫时间的减小反应速率增加.我们将这些结果与近似理论费米黄金规则、Landau-Zener公式进行了比较,由于费米金规则基于一阶微扰论,所以只适用于耦合常数较小的情况.而Landau-Zener公式假设电子在跃迁区域弹道运动,在电子态耦合大的情况下也存在问题.  相似文献

The geometries of two reaction systems have been optimized under the constraint of C symmetry, using the UHF/6‐31G method. The potential energy surfaces (PES) of the two systems in different external electric field have been constructed using a linear reaction coordinate. It is concluded that the reorganization energies and electron transfer matrix elements for both systems are almost independent of the external electric field. However, the standard Gibbs energy difference changes remarkably with the change of the external electric field. Hence, the applied electric field leads to the variation of rate constant of electron transfer reaction. The threshold field, where the electron transfer becomes barrier free, is obtained to be 0.0015 a.u. for the anion system 1, and 0.00097 a.u. for the anion system 2. The threshold field for modified system 1, in which the hydrogen atoms linking to benzene rings are replaced by fluorine atom, is 0.0018 a.u. The calculations show that the best way to adjust the threshold field is to adjust the dipole moment of the reaction system by changing the length of the bridge. As the rate constant in field‐free case is taken into account, neither reaction systems could be used as molecular electronic device. But if the bridge consists of three or four HCTDs, the rate constant and threshold field will satisfy the practical demand. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2006  相似文献

Intramolecular electron transfer of metal-containing spiro π-electron system was studied by AM1 method in the MOPAC-ET program developed by the present group. The results indicated that with the increasing of the outer electric field F, the activation energy of the reaction decreased. When F reaches a certain threshold value, the activation energy barrier becomes zero and the rate of reaction achieves the largest value. The results also indicated that electron transfer matrix elements V_(AB) and reorganization energy λ were not obviously affected by outer electric field while the exothermicity ΔE was directly proportional to it.  相似文献

A TTF-linked porphyrin dyad and its zinc complex have been synthesized as novel photosystems with a redox-active pendant. The two chromophores of these dyads are not interactive in the absorption spectra, but the fluorescence of the porphyrin chromophore is dramatically quenched by intramolecular electron transfer from the TTF pendant.  相似文献

Long-range electron transfer (ET) matrix elements (VPS), rate constants (kET) and reorganization energies for ET from phthalimide radical (pha) moiety to methyl aminoacetate radical (aa) moiety in pa–(gly)n = 0–6–aa (pa = C6H4(CO)2N–(CH2CO), gly = glycine, aa = HNCH2COOCH3) ionic molecules have been investigated using two-state variational method (TSVM) and classical rate model. Calculations on VPS reveal that the overlap between the frontier orbitals of two diabatic states is quite small, which leads to a small value of VPS. kET has a minimum at the range n = 1–3 for β-strand conformation, but linearly increases as the peptide chain length (n) increases for pro II-helix conformation. These results are in good agreement with the experimental predictions. Relevant ET mechanisms are elucidated. The transition energies for charge transfer in such systems are also calculated to test the influences of local dipoles on the potentials of the donor and acceptor. For comparison electron couplings in [pa–(gly)n = 1,3–aa]+ cations are calculated and the effects of electron correlation on inner reorganization energies in pha + pha−/+ self-exchange reactions are examined at different levels of theory respectively. Electron standing wave (ESW) states excited in the vacuum gap near sample surface by operating the scanning tunneling microscopy in field emission regime have been widely used to probe the local electronic properties of novel materials and structures. For accurate interpretation of the ESW states spectra, a simple numerical approach is developed based on a one‐dimensional model, and the transmission coefficient is accurately calculated using the transfer matrix method. Effects correlated with the potential distribution in the tunneling gap are discussed. By this method, main features of the experimental spectra obtained on Si(111)7 × 7 surfaces are successfully simulated. Factors affecting the spectra are discussed. After the separation of the donor, the acceptor, and the σ-type bridge from the π-σ-π system, the geometries of biphenyl, biphenyl anion radical, naphthalene, and naphthalene anion radical are optimized, and then the reorganization energy for the intermolecular electron transfer (ET) at the levels of HF/4-31G and HF/DZP is calculated. The ET matrix elements of the self-exchange reactions of theπ-σ-π systems have been calculated by means of both the direct calculation based on the variational principle, and the transition energy between the molecular orbitals at the linear coordinateR = 0.5. For the cross reactions, the ET matrix element and the geometry of the transition state are determined by searching the minimum energy splitting Δmin along the reaction coordinate. In the evaluation of the solvent reorganization energy of the ET in solution, the Marcus’ two- sphere model has been invoked. A few of ET rate constants for the intramolecular ET reactions for the π-σ-π systems, which contain the biphenylyl as the donor and both biphenylyl and naphthyl as the acceptor, have been obtained. The knowledge of the reactivity of Fischer carbene complexes in electron transfer processes is still in the early stage of development, but interesting advances are foreseeable in this young branch of metal-carbene chemistry. Although these compounds have a dual reactivity (which makes them good substrates for oxidation and reduction processes), their behavior towards chemical electron transfer (ET) reagents was unknown until very recently. This article covers the progress accomplished in the reactivity of these compounds towards chemical ET reagents (C(8)K or SmI(2)), as well as the use of nonconventional sources of electrons, such as electrospray ionization (ESI) to induce ET processes. Special emphasis will be made on the effect of the structure of the starting carbene in the outcome of the reaction and in discussing the different mechanisms proposed.  相似文献

In this work, the authors use complete active space self-consistent field method to investigate the photoinduced charge-separated states and the electron transfer transition in complexes ethylene-tetracyanoethylene and tetramethylethylene-tetracyanoethylene. Geometries of isolated tetracyanoethylene, ethylene, and tetramethylethylene have been optimized. The ground state and the low-lying excited states of ethylene and tetracyanoethylene have been optimized. The state energies in the gas phase have been obtained and compared with the experimentally observed values. The torsion barrier of tetracyanoethylene has been investigated through the state energy calculation at different conformations. Attention has been particularly paid to the charge-separated states and the electron transfer transition of complexes. The stacked conformations of the donor-acceptor complexes have been chosen for the optimization of the ground and low-lying excited states. Equilibrium solvation has been considered by means of conductor-like screening model both in water and in dichloromethane. It has been found that the donor and tetracyanoethylene remain neutral in complexes in ground state (1)A(1) and in lowest triplet state (3)B(1), but charge separation appears in excited singlet state (1)B(1). Through the correction of nonequilibrium solvation energy based on the spherical cavity approximation, pi-->pi* electron transfer transition energies have been obtained. Compared with the experimental measurements in dichloromethane, the theoretical results in the same solvent are found higher by about 0.5 eV.  相似文献

Zinc porphyrin-naphthalenediimide (ZnP-NIm) dyads and zinc porphyrin-pyromellitdiimide-naphthalenediimide (ZnP-Im-NIm) triad have been employed to examine the effects of metal ions on photoinduced charge-separation (CS) and charge-recombination (CR) processes in the presence of metal ions (scandium triflate (Sc(OTf)(3)) or lutetium triflate (Lu(OTf)(3)), both of which can bind with the radical anion of NIm). Formation of the charge-separated states in the absence and in the presence of Sc(3+) was confirmed by the appearance of absorption bands due to ZnP(.) (+) and NIm(.) (-) in the absence of metal ions and of those due to ZnP(.) (+) and the NIm(.) (-)/Sc(3+) complex in the presence of Sc(3+) in the time-resolved transient absorption spectra of dyads and triad. The lifetimes of the charge-separated states in the presence of 1.0 x 10(-3) M Sc(3+) (14 micros for ZnP-NIm, 8.3 micros for ZnP-Im-NIm) are more than ten times longer than those in the absence of metal ions (1.3 micros for ZnP-NIm, 0.33 micros for ZnP-Im-NIm). In contrast, the rate constants of the CS step determined by the fluorescence lifetime measurements are the same, irrespective of the presence or absence of metal ions. This indicates that photoinduced electron transfer from (1)ZnP(*) to NIm in the presence of Sc(3+) occurs without involvement of the metal ion to produce ZnP(.) (+)-NIm(.) (-), followed by complexation with Sc(3+) to afford the ZnP(.) (+)-NIm(.) (-)/Sc(3+) complex. The one-electron reduction potential (E(red)) of the NIm moiety in the presence of a metal ion is shifted in a positive direction with increasing metal ion concentration, obeying the Nernst equation, whereas the one-electron oxidation potential of the ZnP moiety remains the same. The driving force dependence of the observed rate constants (k(ET)) of CS and CR processes in the absence and in the presence of metal ions is well evaluated in terms of the Marcus theory of electron transfer. In the presence of metal ions, the driving force of the CS process is the same as that in the absence of metal ions, whereas the driving force of the CR process decreases with increasing metal ion concentration. The reorganization energy of the CR process also decreases with increasing metal ion concentration, when the CR rate constant becomes independent of the metal ion concentration.  相似文献

The amphiphilic porphinato zinc(II) complex (ZnP) containing four substituted amphiphilic alkyl chains was embedded in the liposomes of l,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3phosphocholine. The distance from the embedded ZnP to the outer phase was changed from 9 to 27 ? by changing the substituted alkyl chain length. The electron transfer from the excited Zn complex to methylviologen (MV2+) or benzoquinone (BQ) added in the outer aqueous phase was studied. At first, quenching reactions were analyzed based on dynamic and static reaction models of the excited state. For the MV2+ quencher, only the triplet excited state of the embedded ZnP reacted, and electron transfer occurred at a distance less than 12 ?. In BQ both the singlet and the triplet excited states reacted, and the reaction of the singlet state was a static one indicating that BQ is incorporated into the liposomes. The distribution of the BQ molecule in the quenching sphere of ZnP was presented based on calculations assuming a stepwise incorporation into the quenching sphere.  相似文献

This paper presents a contact distance dependence analysis scheme and an ab initio calculation application for the electron transfer (ET) reactivity of Co2+OH2/Co3+OH2 reacting pair. The applicability of these schemes and the corresponding models has been discussed. The contact distance (Rcoco) dependence of the relevant quantities has been analyzed. The results indicate that the activation energy from the accurate PES method agrees well with that from the anharmonic potential method, and they are obviously better than that from the harmonic potential method. The pair distribution function varies from 10~(-2) to 10~(-5) along with Rcoco changing from 1.20 to 0.35 nm. The coupling matrix element exponentially decays along with the increase of Rcoco, and the effective electronic coupling requires Rcoco smaller than 0.75 nm. In the range from 0.50 to 0.75 nm for Rcoco, the corresponding electronic transmission coefficient falls within 1.0-10~(-6). The local ET rate also exponentially decays along with the incre  相似文献

The photooxidation and its electron transfer (ET) mechanism of acenaphthenone (ANO) sensitized by 9,10-dicyanoanthracence (DCA) are investigated. It has been found that the reaction with a stepwise manner led to the formation of 1,8- (3'-hydroxy)-β-naphthalene lactone and 1,8-naphthalenedicarboxylic anhydride. By cyclic voltammetry, fluorescence quenching, exciplex emission, co-sensitbation of biphenyl/DCA as well as CIDNP studies, it is verified that ANO can behave as an electron donor to undergo ET reaction with singlet DCA which is a thermodynamically-favored process.  相似文献
