系统地研究了用带有非线性倍频晶体的附加耦合腔来压窄激光光脉冲的动力学作用过程,首次给出了该锁模激光系统在瞬态平衡时输出脉宽的具体表达式,实验测量结果与理论计算值相比吻合得很好;最后,文中还报道了有关实验参量与该锁模激光系统输出特性的关系曲线。  相似文献

In the modern science and technology a compact and having enough output power terahertz radiation source working in room temperature have earned great attention. This paper is devoted to utilize electron bunches stimulate Vavilov-Cherenkov Radiation (VCR) in a special three-mirror quasi-optical cavity to generate coherent THz waves. This novel three-mirror quasi-optical resonant cavity has the coaxial field pattern which enables field establish in this cavity effectively. The analytical theory of the radiation exited by a train of electron bunches in the special kind of three-mirror cavity has been carried out and the coherent VCR has been achieved by the computer simulation. All those shows that this method can be used to establish useful THz radiation source by the normal electron gun and the commonly used microwave devices.  相似文献

采用单块半非平面Nd:YAG单频环形激光器和环形外腔倍频技术,获得了单频功率249.5mW的532nm波长的绿光输出,倍频效率43.2%,实现了倍频腔与激光器之间的跟踪锁定,倍频光功率稳定性优于1%,理论计算与实验结果一致。  相似文献

质子注入型面发射激光器相干耦合阵列能够实现同相模式的激射,但是由于制作过程中的工艺不均匀性引起单元间存在相位差,影响光束的质量。本文通过设计分离电极结构,使每个单元注入的电流得到分别的控制,实现了3单元三角排列阵列高光束质量同相耦合模式的激射。阵列远场发散角仅为3.4°,大约有25.6%的全部能量聚集在中心光斑。激射光谱的线宽为0.24 nm,边模抑制比为27 dB。该方法能够有效提高相干耦合阵列的光束质量,弥补制作工艺中引入的单元不均匀性,提高器件的可靠性和实用性。质子注入方法简单、成本低,能够成为制作高光束质量相干耦合阵列的一个重要方法。  相似文献

Based on a semiclassical theory, investigations were made of the dynamics and spectral composition of pulsed generation with self-injection of priming radiation from the active part of a three-mirror linear resonator, the passive part of which contains an active loss modulator and serves as the output reflector of the laser. It is shown that there exists a range of resonator parameters at which pulsed lasing has virtually a single frequency irrespective of the detuning of the frequencies of the priming radiation and of the nearest eigenmode of the composite resonator. Considering graphically the phase conditions of generation, it is established that among pulsed lasers with self-injection of priming radiation which are constructed on the basis of three-mirror linear and branched resonators, the most efficient for creating single-frequency generation are those in which the length of the main resonator, where generation of the pulse occurs, is larger than the length of the additional one intended for forming the priming radiation. With an inverse ratio of the lengths of the resonators, the conditions of single-frequency pulsed generation becomes dependent on the priming radiation frequency.  相似文献

An experimental investigation is presented for obtaining picosecond (ps) pulses at a repetition rate of 11 GHz using a fiber laser coupled to an external cavity. Without applying active mode locking and without a nonlinear element in the coupled cavity, pulses of about 15 ps with an average power of 20 mW have been generated using a (cw) diode pump laser. The pulse duration decreases with increasing repetition rate.  相似文献

A cruciform cavity is presented for multi-wavelength laser generation. On the basis of considering the optimal power ratio and good spatial overlap of the two fundamental beams, the maximum output power of 589 nm laser reaches 3.5 W when the pumping power of Nd:YAG A and Nd:YAG B are 311.5 W and 261.8 W, respectively. At the same time, the other wavelength lasers are also obtained with the output power distribution of 2.5 W at 66Onto, 15 W at 532nm, lOOmW at 1319nm and 240mW at 1064nm. The corresponding beam quality factors are M^2 x = 4.93, M^2 y = 5.01 at 589nm, M^2z = 4.51, M^2 y = 4.85 at 660hm, and M^2 x = 4.12, M^2 y = 3.96 at 532nm, respectively. The instabilities of the three visible lights are measured, which are also less than 2% within three hours.  相似文献

We propose an efficient scheme for realizing two-mode squeezing for two cavity modes with an atomic ensemble trapped in the cavity and driven by two classical fields. Through a suitable choice of the driving classical fields, the evolution dynamics of the two cavity modes is decoupled with the atomic system and described by a two-mode squeezing operator. We show that a highly squeezed state can be obtained at the output even with a bad cavity. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the BEG-cavity setup.  相似文献

本文在多原子强耦合腔-QED系统中,利用脉冲宽度为5 ns的强脉冲光在垂直于腔轴方向直接激发原子,脉冲的峰值功率为40 mW,通过光学腔观测激发原子辐射到腔中的光子获得相应的激发光谱。我们发现当光场频率和原子跃迁失谐±80 MHz时原子激发率达到最大,而在共振时原子激发被抑制。我们建立了脉冲光与三能级原子相互作用的模型,通过缀饰态能够解释此现象。  相似文献

The characteristics of a wavelength tunable vertical cavity surface emitting laser diode (VCSEL) with an external short cavity are analyzed, in which the oscillation wavelength can be changed over several tens of nanometers with a nearly constant optical power by slightly altering the external cavity length. Analysis is based on rate equations for the optical power and carrier density, taking the effect of carrier-induced refractive index change into consideration, together with the study of behaviors of a complex resonator. The reflection coefficient r2 of a laser facet facing the external mirror is shown to affect notably the characteristics of wavelength tuning, optical power and carrier density for a change of the external cavity length. It is also noticed that the wavelength change for this length becomes slower with relatively larger r2 due to an increasing contribution of the effect of carrier-induced refractive index change, within the optical gain spectrum of the laser diode.  相似文献

We analyze the collective excitations in two‐ and three‐dimensional binary Yukawa systems, consisting of two components with different masses. Theoretical analysis reveals a profound difference between the weakly and strongly correlated limits: at weak coupling the two components interact via the mean field only and the oscillation frequency is governed by the light component. In the strongly correlated limit the mode frequency is governed by the combined mass, where the heavy component dominates. We study entanglement of the cavity modes in a double-cavity optomechanical system in strong-coupling regime. The system is consist of two optomechanical systems coupled by a single photon hopping between them. With the radiation pressure of the photon, entanglement of the cavity modes can be generated. The average concurrence of the cavity modes is at least twice larger than that of the mechanical modes. Moreover, when we change the ratio between coupling strength and resonant frequency of mechanical modes, the entanglement in cavity and mechanical modes are influenced differently.  相似文献

We propose two schemes for the generation of cluster states in the context of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In the first scheme, we prepare multi-cavity cluster states with information encoded in the coherent states. The second scheme is to generate multi-atom cluster states, where qubits axe represented by the states of cascade Rydberg atoms. Both the schemes axe based on the atom-cavity interaction and the atomic spontaneous radiation can be efficiently reduced since the cavity frequency is largely detuned from the atomic transition frequency.  相似文献
