The initial heteroepitaxial growth of YBa{2}Cu{3}O{7-delta} films on SrTiO3(001) substrates during pulsed laser deposition shows a growth-mode transition and a change of growth unit. The growth starts with two blocks, each two-thirds the size of the complete unit cell. The first of these blocks grows in a step-flow fashion, whereas the second grows in the layer-by-layer mode. Subsequent deposition occurs layer-by-layer of complete unit cells. These results suggest that the surface diffusion in the heteroepitaxial case is strongly influenced by the competition with formation energies, which is important for the fabrication of heteroepitaxial devices on the unit cell scale.  相似文献

本文综述了高Tc氧化物超导体(La_2CuO_4及YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-8)的(计算)电子结构。本文基于Freeman教授研究组的工作。 (1) 体心四方结构的La_2CuO_4能带结构计算结果表明:La_2CuO_4的电子结构由在正方形Cu-O平面内的Cu3d-O2p相瓦作用所控制。存在一个沿[110]方向|q|=2k_F(强的)迭套的Fermi表面,它导致了电子驱动的结构失稳,以及在电子状态密度上的VanHove对数奇性。此种Fermi面的迭套被认为是引起了(Peierls 2k_F)失稳性,从而解释了La_(2-x)M_xCuO_4由四方结构到正交结构的相变。 (2) 如同在La_(2-x)M_xCuO_4中的情况一样,具正交结构的YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-8)的电子结构由Cu-O间的相互作用所支配;同时存在着二维及一维的Cu3d-O2p相互作用为YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-8)电子结构的特征。YBa2Cu_3O_(7-8)在E_F处的状态密度值低于La_(2-x)M_xCuO_4的相应值,在YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-8)中的Y或Ba原子作用如同一电子的施主。  相似文献

采用脉冲激光沉积技术(PLD)在LaAlO3(100)单晶衬底上外延生长YBa2Cu3O7-δ-Y2O3多层薄膜,用X射线衍射技术(XRD)分析薄膜的物相结构和外延特性,通过原子力显微镜(AFM)观察薄膜的表面形貌.本文主要研究了最佳工艺参数下交替生长多层YBCO-Y2O3膜的超导性能.结果表明,YBa2Cu3O7-δ-Y2O3薄膜为纯c轴取向外延生长,临界电流密度Jc(H=0或H//C)均高于纯YBCO薄膜,纳米Y2O3起到磁通钉扎中心作用.  相似文献

Y(Ba_(1-x)Gd_x)_2Cu_3O_(7-δ)的临界电流密度特征   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
多晶样品Y(Ba1-xGdx)2Cu3O7-δ(YBGCO)(x=0.0,0.02,0.03,0.05,0.08,0.10)是由标准固相反应法制备获得。XRD的Rietveld精修显示,Gd成功地部分替代YBa2Cu3O7-δ(YBCO)晶胞中的Ba位。实验结果表明,对于某一固定磁场Y(Ba1-xGdx)2Cu3O7-δ的临界电流密度(Jc)在x=0.05有最大值。此外,尽管YBGCO的超导温度(Tc)明显地单调下降,但微量的Gd掺杂导致磁场中YBGCO的Jc的提高。Jc随着Gd掺杂量不同而变化的特征行为可以认为,是由Gd掺杂引起的两种不同的效果竞争共同作用造成的,即纳米尺度范围内空间分布不均匀性和超导性的变化。  相似文献

Scanning tunneling spectroscopy studies reveal long-range spatial homogeneity and predominantly d(x(2)-y(2))-pairing spectral characteristics in under- and optimally doped YBa2Cu 3O (7-delta) superconductors, whereas STS on YBa2(Cu 0.9934Zn 0.0026Mg (0.004))3O (6.9) exhibits microscopic spatial modulations and strong scattering near the Zn or Mg impurity sites, together with global suppression of the pairing potential. In contrast, in overdoped (Y 0.7Ca (0.3))Ba 2Cu 3O (7-delta), (d(x(2)-y(2))+s)-pairing symmetry is found, suggesting significant changes in the superconducting ground state at a critical doping value.  相似文献

研究了高温超导体 YBa2 Cu3O7- x块材和厚膜在温度区间 40 0℃到 85 0℃电阻率随环境氧分压的变化关系 ,初步探索了其作为氧传感器材料的可能性。并研究了 YBa2 Cu3O7- x在不同温度条件下对氧的检测灵敏度和响应速度。实验表明 YBa2 Cu3O7- x对氧有较强的选择性 ,同一温度下电阻率随氧分压的增大而减小 ,且有较快的响应速度。氧分压减小时电阻率增大 ,块材响应速度较慢 ,但是制成厚膜后可提高其响应速度  相似文献

A generalized methodology, based on anisotropic angular dependent magnetoresistance measurements, is presented to deconvolute the contributions to the vortex activation energy (i.e., plastic and pinning energies) in the vortex liquid state of high temperature superconductors. Experimental evidence is given for the appearance of a partially entangled liquid vortex state in YBa 2Cu 3O (7) when random quenched and correlated disorders compete, as in twinned melt textured YBa 2Cu 3O (7) quasisingle crystals with Y 2BaCuO (5) precipitates. The hallmark of this new phase is a quench of the c-axis vortex correla-tion length.  相似文献

We report on magnetoresistance measurements of the effects of 9 MeV proton irradiation on a clean, untwinned single crystal of YBa2Cu3O7-delta. For the first time, evidence for a vortex glass transition is detected in an untwinned single crystal of YBa2Cu3O7-delta with induced pointlike disorder, in which the first order vortex melting transition is completely suppressed after proton irradiation. Our results suggest that a sufficiently high pinning disorder is required in order for the vortex glass phase to be observed.  相似文献

The influence of magnetic (S=1) and nonmagnetic (S=0) impurities on the spin dynamics of an optimally doped high temperature superconductor is compared in YBa2(Cu0.97Ni0.03)3O7 (Tc=80 K) and YBa2(Cu0.99Zn0.01)3O7 (Tc=78 K). In the Ni-substituted system, the magnetic resonance peak (which is observed at Er approximately 40 meV in the pure system) shifts to lower energy with a preserved Er/Tc ratio while the shift is much smaller upon Zn substitution. By contrast Zn, but not Ni, restores significant spin fluctuations around 40 meV in the normal state. These observations are discussed in the light of models proposed for the magnetic resonance peak.  相似文献

Well-defined zigzag-shaped ramp-type Josephson junctions between YBa2Cu3O7 and Nb have been studied. The magnetic field dependencies of the critical currents provide evidence for d-wave--induced alternations in the direction of the Josephson current between neighboring sides of the zigzag structure. The arrays present controllable model systems to study the influences of pi facets in high-angle high- T(c) grain boundaries. From the characteristics, we estimate a possible imaginary s-wave admixture to the order parameter of the YBa2Cu3O7 to be below 1%.  相似文献

We report on an ab anisotropy of Jc parallel b/Jc parallel a approximately/= 1.8 IcRn parallelb/IcRn parallel a approximately/= 1.2 and in ramp-edge junctions between untwinned YBa2Cu3O7 and s-wave Nb. For these junctions, the angle theta with the YBa2Cu3O7 crystal b axis is varied as a single parameter. The RnA(theta) dependence presents twofold symmetry. The minima in IcRn at theta approximately/= 50 degrees suggest a real s-wave subdominant component and negligible d(xy)-wave or imaginary s-wave admixtures. The IcRn(theta) dependence is well fitted by 83% dx2-y2-, 15% isotropic s-, and 2% anisotropic s-wave order parameter symmetry, consistent with deltab/deltaa approximately/= 1.5.  相似文献

We show magnetoresistance in excess of 1000% in trilayers containing highly spin-polarized La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 and high-Tc superconducting YBa2Cu3O7. This large magnetoresistance is reminiscent of the giant magnetoresistance (GMR) in metallic superlattices but with much larger values, and originates at spin imbalance due to the injection of spin-polarized carriers. Furthermore, in contrast to ordinary GMR, the magnetoresistance is intimately related to the superconductivity in the YBa2Cu3O7 layer and vanishes in the normal state. This result, aside from its fundamental importance, may be of interest for the design of novel spintronic devices based on ferromagnet/superconductor structures.  相似文献

We describe the fabrication of high performance YBa2Cu3O7-δ(YBCO) radio frequency(RF) superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs), which were prepared on 5 mm×5 mm LaAlO3(LAO) substrates by employing stepedge junctions(SEJs) and in flip-chip configuration with 12 mm×12 mm resonators. The step in the substrate was produced by Ar ion etching with step angles ranging from 47°to 61°, which is steep enough to ensure the formation of grain boundaries(GBs) at the step edges. The YBCO film was deposited using the pulsed laser deposition(PLD) technique with a film thickness half of the height of the substrate step. The inductance of the SQUID washer was designed to be about 157 pH.Under these circumstances, high performance YBCO RF SQUIDs were successfully fabricated with a typical flux-voltage transfer ratio of 83 mV/Φ0, a white flux noise of 29 μΦ0/(Hz)1/2, and the magnetic field sensitivity as high as 80 fT/(Hz)1/2.These devices have been applied in magnetocardiography and geological surveys.  相似文献

Neutron scattering has been used to measure the charge and spin structure in the highly underdoped superconductor YBa(2)Cu(3)O(6.35). Incommensurate static charge ordering is found that remains at high temperatures. The magnetic pattern is complex with a resonance and incommensurate structure observed at low temperatures. The results clarify the role of striped phases in YBa(2)Cu(3)O(6+x) superconductors.  相似文献

Evidence for static alternating magnetic fields in the vortex cores of underdoped YBa2Cu3O6+x is reported. Muon spin rotation measurements of the internal magnetic field distribution of the vortex state of YBa2Cu3O6.50 in applied fields of H = 1 T and H = 4 T reveal a feature in the high-field tail of the field distribution which is not present in optimally doped YBa2Cu3O6.95 and which fits well to a model with static magnetic fields in the vortex cores. The magnitude of the fields is estimated to be 18(2) G and decreases above T = 10 K. We discuss possible origins of the additional vortex core magnetism within the context of existing theories.  相似文献

The thermodynamics of the superconducting transition is studied as a function of doping using high-resolution expansivity data of YBa(2)Cu(3)O (x) single crystals and Monte Carlo simulations of the anisotropic 3D- XY model. We directly show that T(c) of underdoped YBa(2)Cu(3)O (x) is strongly suppressed from its mean-field value (T(MF)(c)) by phase fluctuations of the superconducting order parameter. For overdoped YBa(2)Cu(3)O (x) fluctuation effects are greatly reduced and T(c) approximately T(MF)(c). We find that T(MF)(c) exhibits a similar doping dependence as the pseudogap energy, naturally suggesting that the pseudogap arises from phase-incoherent Cooper pairing.  相似文献
