A Lie isomorphism ? between algebras is called trivial if ?=ψ+τ, where ψ is an (algebraic) isomorphism or a negative of an (algebraic) anti-isomorphism, and τ is a linear map with image in the center vanishing on each commutator. In this paper, we investigate the conditions for the triviality of Lie isomorphisms from reflexive algebras with completely distributive and commutative lattices (CDCSL). In particular, we prove that a Lie isomorphism between irreducible CDCSL algebras is trivial if and only if it preserves I-idempotent operators (the sum of an idempotent and a scalar multiple of the identity) in both directions. We also prove the triviality of each Lie isomorphism from a CDCSL algebra onto a CSL algebra which has a comparable invariant projection with rank and corank not one. Some examples of Lie isomorphisms are presented to show the sharpness of the conditions.  相似文献

We study compact perturbations of reflexive algebras with commutative invariant subspace lattices. This leads us to study lattice isomorphisms that are uniform limits of spatially induced mappings and satisfy a compactness condition. We prove that two lattices that are nested or complemented are isomorphic in this way iff their corresponding perturbed algebras are unitary equivalent. While for complemented lattices this relation implies unitary equivalence, we prove that any two continuous nests are equivalent in this way.  相似文献

For any completely distributive subspace lattice on a real or complex reflexive Banach space and a positive integer , necessary and sufficient (lattice-theoretic) conditions are given for the existence of a single element of of rank . Similar conditions are given for the existence of single elements of infinite rank. From this follows a relatively simple lattice-theoretic condition which characterises when every non-zero single element has rank one. Slightly stronger results are obtained for the case where is finite, including the fact that every single element must then be of finite rank.

We show that the reflexive algebra Alg(L) given by a double triangle lattice L in a finite factor M(with L" = M) is maximal non-selfadjoint in the class of all weak operator closed subalgebras with the same diagonal subalgebra Alg(L) ∩ Alg(L)~+.Our method can be used to prove similar results in finite-dimensional matrix algebras.As a consequence,we give a new proof to the main theorem by Hou and Zhang(2012).  相似文献

The index of a finite-dimensional Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ is the minimum of dimensions of the stabilizers $\mathfrak{g}_\alpha $ over all covectors $\alpha \in \mathfrak{g}^ * $ . Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a reductive Lie algebra over a field $\mathbb{K}$ of characteristic ≠ = 2. Élashvili conjectured that the index of $\mathfrak{g}_\alpha $ is always equal to the index, or, which is the same, the rank of $\mathfrak{g}$ . In this article, Élashvili’s conjecture is proved for classical Lie algebras. Furthermore, it is shown that if $\mathfrak{g} = \mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}_n $ or $\mathfrak{g} = \mathfrak{s}\mathfrak{p}_{2n} $ and $e \in \mathfrak{g}$ is a nilpotent element, then the coadjoint action of $\mathfrak{g}_e $ has a generic stabilizer. For $\mathfrak{g}$ , we give examples of nilpotent elements $e \in \mathfrak{g}$ such that the coadjoint action of $\mathfrak{g}_e $ does not have a generic stabilizer.  相似文献

In this paper, we will prove that every derivation of completely distributive subspace lattice (CDS) algebras on Banach space is automatically continuous. This is new even in the Hilbert space case. As an application of this result, we obtain that every additive derivation of nest algebras on Banach spaces is inne. We will also prove that every isomorphism between nest algebras on Banach space is automatically continuous, and in addition, is spatial.
