Supramolecular Terbium-SIP Complex Pillared by 4,4＇-Bipyridyl, {[Tb（SIP）（H2O）5]2（bpy）3（H2O）}n： Synthesis,Crystal Structure and Photoluminescence

The supramolecular terbium complex, {[Tb（SIP）（H2O）5]2（bpy）3（H2O）}n （NaH2SIP = 5-sulfoisophthalic acid monosodium salt and bpy = 4,4＇-bipyridyl）, has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of Tb4O7 with NaH2SIP and bpy at 165 ℃, and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectrum, powder X-ray diffraction and photoluminescence spectrum. It crystallizes in a monoclinic system, space group C2/c, with a = 30.6840（1）, b = 10.9206（2）, c = 17.4967（3） A, β= 111.931（1）°, V = 5438.65（14） A^3, Z = 4, C46H52N6O25S2Tb2, Mr = 1470.90, Dc = 1.796 g/cm^3, p = 2.747 mm^-1, F（000） = 2928, the final R = 0.0654 and wR = 0.1322 for 3806 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）. In the neutral [Tb（SIP）（H2O）5]2 motif, the Tb（III） ions are linked by the SIP ligands to form a one-dimensional zigzag chain propagating along the c axis. The zigzag chains are linked together by hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions to form a two-dimensional supramolecular framework. The uncoordinated bpy molecules act as pillars to extend the two-dimensional sheets into a distinctive pillared three-dimensional supramolecular structure through O-H...N hydrogen bonds. The photoluminescence of the complex was investigated at room temperature in the solid state.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a New Complex （H3IDC）（Prz）0.5（H2O）

The compound （H3IDC）（Prz）0.5（H2O） （H3IDC = imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylate, Prz = piperazine） has been prepared from a hydrothermal approach and was characterized by IR analysis and X-ray diffraction. Its crystal structure consists of discrete 4,5-imidazole-dicarboxylate, H2O and piperazine molecules. The whole structural motif was assembled by three different non-covalent interactions of O-H…O, N-H…O and π-π stacking, which play an important role in packing the molecules. Interestingly, the connections between imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylate molecule and water molecule result in a helical polymeric chain. Crystal data for compound 1： monoclinic system, space group P21/c, a = 6.4600（13）, b = 19.910（4）, c = 6.9123（14） A^°, β = 94.26（3）°, V= 886.6（3） A^°^3, Z= 4, C7H10O5N3, Mr = 216.18.     

[Tb(CH_3COO)_3(H_2O)_2]_2的合成及其结构测定

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Complex Mn2（phen）2（p-MBA）4（H2O）

A novel Mn（Ⅱ） complex Mn2（phen）2（p-MBA）4（H2O） has been hydrothermally synthesized by the reaction of p-methyl benzoic acid （p-MBA） with 1,10-phenanthroline （phen）. Crystal data for this complex： monoclinic, space group C2/c, a= 2.3328（3）, b =1.5549（2）, c = 1.5557（2） nm, β = 121.726（2）°, V= 4.7997（11） nm^3, Mr = 1028.85, Dc = 1.424 g/cm^3, Z = 4, F（000） = 2128, μ（MoKa） = 0.590mm^-1, GOOF = 1.060, R = 0.0333 and wR = 0.0767. In the crystal, each Mn（Ⅱ） ion is coordinated by two nitrogen atoms from one o-phenanthroline molecule, three oxygen atoms from three p-methyl benzoic acids and one oxygen atom from one water molecule, giving a six-coordinate distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Two neighboring Mn（Ⅱ） ions are bridged by two p-methyl benzoic acid groups and one water molecule, and their end positions are respectively coordinated by one 1,10-phenanthroline and one p-methyl benzoic acid molecule, giving a binuclear cage structure, of which the Mn（Ⅱ）…Mn（Ⅱ） distance is 0.3502 nm.     

Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Photoluminescent Property of a Novel Silver(I) Compound {[Ag(bpp)]_2(Hphth)(NO_3)·(H_2O)_2}_n

Self-assembly of Ag(I) nitrate, 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane (bpp) and phthalic acid monopotassium salt (KHphth) in CH3OH-H2O solution produced the title complex, {[Ag(bpp)]2(Hphth)(NO3)·(H2O)2}n, which was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectrum, and photoluminescent spectrum. Single-crystal X-ray analysis revealed that the complex crystallizes in a monoclinic system, space group P21/c, with a = 15.4174(5), b = 8.6398(2), c = 25.2466(8) , β = 91.072(1)o, V = 3362.34(17) 3, Z = 4, C34H37N5O9Ag2, Mr = 875.43, Dc = 1.729 g/cm3, μ = 1.228 mm-1, F(000) = 1768, the final R = 0.0749 and wR = 0.1580 for 5754 reflections with I > 2σ(I). The Ag atom is coordinated by two N atoms from two bpp molecules in an approximately linear geometry. The Ag(I) ions are linked by the bpp molecules to form one-dimensional zigzag chains propagating along the c axis. The Hphth- and nitrate counter-ions are bridged by solvent water molecules through hydrogen bonds to generate a one-dimensional chain extending along the b axis. Electrostatic interactions between cations and anions, extensive hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions are responsible for the three-dimensional supramolecular structure. In the solid state, the compound exhibits blue photoluminescence with the maximum at 436 nm upon excitation at 344 nm.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [Mn（DPMT）2Cl2（H2O）2]

The title compound [Mn(DPMT)2Cl2(H2O)2] (DPMT = 1-[[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)- 1,3-dioxolan-2-yl]methyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole) was synthesized by the reaction of MnCl2·4H2O and DPMT in ethanol solution and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 23.913(4), b = 7.8883(13), c = 8.6291(14) , β = 95.816(3)o, V = 1619.4(5) 3, Z = 2, C24H26Cl6MnN6O6, Mr = 762.15, Dc = 1.563 g/cm3, μ = 0.950 mm-1, S = 1.045, F(000) = 774, R = 0.0462 and wR = 0.0981. The molecular structure is a centrosymmetric conformation, and two ligands are symmetrically located on both sides of the Mn atom. The manganese atom is surrounded by two nitrogen atoms from ligands, two chlorine atoms and two oxygen atoms from water molecules to form a slightly distorted octahedral geometry.     

配合物[Tb(p-ClBA)_3(phen)]_2的结构和性能(英文)

Terbium p-chlorobenzoate complex with 1,10-phenanthroline, [Tb( p-ClBA)_3phen]_2 (1) has been obtained in the ethanol solution, where p-ClBA=p-chlorobenzoate and phen=1,10-phenanthroline. It crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, a=1.008 1(2) nm, b=1.185 7(2) nm, c=1.431 1(3) nm, α=110.826(4)°, β=96.436(4)°, γ=101.737(4)°, Z=2. The two Tb(Ⅲ) ions are linked by four carboxylate groups through their bidentate bridging modes, forming a dimeric unit with crystallographic inversion center. Each terbium ion has an eight-coordinate geometry with four of the coordination sites occupied by four oxygen atoms from the four bridging carboxylates, respectively, two oxygen atoms from bidentate carboxylate, and the remaining positions occupied by two nitrogen atoms from a 1,10-phenanthroline molecule. The Tb(Ⅲ) ion adopt a distorted square antiprism coordination geometry. The excitation and luminescence data observed at room temperature show that the title complex emits very intensive green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The result of thermal analysis indicates the complex [Tb(p-ClBA)_3phen]_2 is quite stable to heat. CCDC: 221921.

The title compound {[（C6H5CH2）2Sn]2（O）（Cl2）}2 has been synthesized by the reaction of bisbenzyltin dichloride with NaOH dilute solution, and its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 2.5081（17）, b = 1.0089（7）, c = 2.0909（14） nm, β = 94.267（8）°, V= 5.276（6） nm^3, Z = 4, De= 1.734 g/cm^3,μ（MoKa） = 21.55 cm^-1, F（000） = 2704, R = 0.0398 and Rw = 0.1024. According to structural analysis, the tin atom adopts a distorted five-coordinate trigonal bipyramidal geometry, and the ladder-like structure is shaped by one planar four-membered Sn2O2 ring together with two planar four-membered Sn2OCl rings.
