A series of α-aminopyridines in the form of (2,6-C(6)H(3)N)(R(1))(CHR(2)NR(3)R(4)) (R(1) = R(2) = H R(3) = H R(4) = (i)Pr (L1a), R(4) = (t)Bu (L1b), R(4) = Ph (L1c), R(4) = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (L1d), R(4) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (L1e), R(1) = R(2) = H R(3) = R(4) = Et (L1f), R(1) = H R(2) = Me R(3) = H R(4) = (i)Pr (L2a), R(4) = Ph (L2c), R(4) = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (L2d), R(4) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (L2e), R(1) = Me R(2) = H R(3) = H R(4) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (L3e)) and β-aminopyridines in the form of (2-C(6)H(4)N)(CH(2)CH(2)NR(1)R(2)) (R(1) = H R(2) = (i)Pr (4a), R(2) = (t)Bu (L4b), R(1) = R(2) = Et (L4f)) have been prepared. Their corresponding halonickel complexes 1a-4f are synthesized by ligand substitution from (DME)NiBr(2) and the molecular structures are characterized. Four types of coordination modes include four-coordinate mononuclear species with one ligand, five-coordinate mononuclear species with two ligands, five-coordinate dinuclear species with two ligands, and a six-coordinate polymeric framework were determined by X-ray crystallography. Using methylaluminoxanes (MAO) as the activator, the nickel complexes can catalyze ethylene polymerization under moderate pressure and ambient temperature. The activity reaches 10(5) g PE mol(-1) Ni h. The PE products with high branching and high crystallinity have M(n) ~ 10(3) with PDI < 2.  相似文献

A series of zirconium and hafnium heteroscorpionate complexes have been prepared by the reaction of MCl4 (M = Zr, Hf) with the compounds [[Li(bdmpza)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], [[Li(bdmpzdta)(H2O)](4)] [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], and (Hbdmpze) [bdmpze = 2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethoxide] (the latter with the prior addition of Bu(n)Li). Under the appropriate experimental conditions, mononuclear complexes, namely, [MCl3(kappa3-bdmpzx)] [x = a, M = Zr (1), Hf (2); x = dta, M = Zr (3), Hf (4); x = e, M = Zr (5), Hf (6)], and dinuclear complexes, namely, [[MCl2(mu-OH)(kappa3-bdmpzx)]2] [x = a, M = Zr (7), Hf (8); x = dta, M = Zr (9); x = e, M = Zr (10)], were isolated. A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of the general formula [ZrCl2(kappa3-bdmpzx)(OR)] [x = a, R = Me (11), Et (12), iPr (13), tBu (14); x = dta, R = Me (15), Et (16), iPr (17), tBu (18); x = e, R = Me (19), Et (20), (i)Pr (21), (t)Bu (22)] was also prepared. Complexes 11-14 underwent an interesting hydrolysis process to give the cluster complex [Zr6(mu3-OH)8(OH)8(kappa2-bdmpza)8] (23). The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and the X-ray crystal structures of 7, 8, and 23 were also established.  相似文献

The reactions of diselenophosphates, [dsep, (RO)2PSe2-; R = Et, (n)Pr and (i)Pr] with cadmium(II) and mercury(II) perchlorates in a 2 : 1 molar ratio formed compounds of stoichiometry M[Se2P(OR)2]2{M = Cd, R = Et (1), (n)Pr (2), (i)Pr (3); Hg, Et(4), (n)Pr (5), (i)Pr (6)}, and with zinc(II) perchlorates, chalcogen centered tetranuclear clusters, [Zn4(micro4-E){Se2P(OR)2}6]{E = Se, R = Et (7), (n)Pr (8), (i)Pr (9); E = O, R = Et (10), (n)Pr (11), (i)Pr (12)} were formed. All these complexes have been characterized with the help of analytical data, X-ray crystallography (1, 3, 6, 10, 11 and 12), and FAB-mass spectrometry (7-12). Compound 1 is a linear double-chain polymer, in which each pair of Cd atoms is bridged by two dsep ligands; the mercury 6 polymer has a helical chain structure, in which two Hg atoms are bridged by one dsep ligand, and the other ligand chelates the Hg atom. The chelating dsep ligands lie on either side of the helical chain. Compound 3 exists as a dimer in which two cadmium atoms are connected by two bridging dsep ligands, and each cadmium atom is further chelated by a dsep ligand. The metal atoms in 1, 3 and 6 are each coordinated by four selenium atoms in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Clusters 10-12 have tetrahedral array of zinc atoms with an oxygen atom in the center with edge-bridging dsep ligands. Positive FAB-mass spectra support the formation of selenium-centered clusters,7-9, of which the cluster 8 was structurally confirmed earlier. The solution state behavior of compounds 1-12 has been studied by using multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. Dimer 3 in CD2Cl2 showed monomer-dimer exchange equilibrium in the temperature range 20 to -90 degrees C and the free energy of activation is calculated from the coalescence temperature as DeltaG++(223 K)= 38.5 kJ mol(-1). Polymer undergoes depolymerization in CDCl3 and exhibits monomer-dimer exchange equilibrium in the temperature range 20 to -60 degrees C.  相似文献

A series of new titanium(IV) complexes with symmetric or asymmetric cis-9,10-dihydrophenanthrenediamide ligands, cis-9,10-PhenH(2)(NR)(2)Ti(O(i)Pr)(2) [PhenH(2) = 9,10-dihydrophenanthrene, R = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3) (2a), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (2b), 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (2c)], cis-9,10-PhenH(2)(NR(1))(NR(2))Ti(O(i)Pr)(2) [R(1) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), R(2) = 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (2d); R(1) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), R(2) = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (2e)], and [cis-9,10-PhenH(2)(NR(1))(2)][o-C(6)H(4)(CH=NR(2))]TiO(i)Pr [R(1) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), R(2) = 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3) (3a); R(1) = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3) (3b)], have been synthesized from the reactions of TiCl(2)(O(i)Pr)(2) with o-C(6)H(4)(CH=NR)Li [R = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-Et(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)]. The symmetric complexes 2a-2c were obtained from the reactions of TiCl(2)(O(i)Pr)(2) with 2 equiv of the corresponding o-C(6)H(4)(CH=NR)Li followed by intramolecular C-C bond-forming reductive elimination and oxidative coupling processes, while the asymmetric complexes 2d-2e were formed from the reaction of TiCl(2)(O(i)Pr)(2) with two different types of o-C(6)H(4)(CH=NR)Li sequentially. The complexes 3a and 3b were also isolated from the reactions for complexes 2d and 2e. All complexes were characterized by (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopy, and the molecular structures of 2a, 2b, 2e, and 3a were determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

A series of aluminum complexes featuring with the ketiminate ligand, OCMeCHCMeNHAr (Ar = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3), 1), have been prepared and characterized spectroscopically and structurally. Reactions of 1 with trialkylaluminum in 1:1 or 1:2 molar ratio generate four- and five-coordinated aluminum complexes (OCMeCHCMeNAr)AlR(2) (R = Me (2); R = Et (3)) and (OCMeCHCMeNAr)(2)AlR (R = Me (4); R = Et (5)) in high yields. Similarly, reaction of AlCl(3) with 1 or 2 equiv of the lithiated 1 in toluene afforded bis(ketiminate) aluminum chloride complex, (OCMeCHCMeNAr)(2)AlCl (6) or (OCMeCHCMeNAr)AlCl(2) (7). Surprisingly, reacting 6 with 1 equiv of AgBF(4) in methylene/acetonitrile mix-solvents generates (OCMeCHCMeNAr)(2)AlF (8) in moderate yield. The structures of complexes 2-6 and 8 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 2 and 3 both exhibit tetrahedron structures with the aluminum atom surrounded by oxygen and nitrogen atoms of chelating ketiminate and two alkyl groups. The mono- and bis-ketiminate aluminum complexes 2-5 have shown moderate activity toward the ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone.  相似文献

Regioselective nucleophilic aromatic substitution of an o-fluorine occurs to afford fluorine-substituted o-phenylene-bridged bis(anilido-aldimine) compounds o-C6H4[(C6H2R2)N=CH-C6F4-(H)N(C6H3R'2)]2 when Li(H)N-C6H3R'2 (R' = iPr, Et, Me) is reacted with o-C6H4[(C6H2R2)N=CH-C6F5]2 (R = iPr, Et, Me) in a nonpolar solvent such as diethyl ether or toluene. Successive additions of Me2Zn and SO2 gas to the bis(anilido-aldimine) compounds afford quantitatively dinuclear mu-methylsulfinato zinc complexes o-C6H4[[(C6H2R2)N=CH-C6F4-N(C6H3R'2)-kappa2N,N]Zn(mu-OS(O)Me)]2 (R = iPr, R' = iPr, 3a; R = iPr, R' = Me, 3c; R = Et, R' = (i)Pr, 3d; R = Et, R' = Et, 3e; R = Et, R' = Me, 3f; R = Me, R' = iPr, 3g; R = Me, R' = Et, 3h; R = Me, R' = Me, 3i). The molecular structure of 3c was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Fluorine-substituted complexes 3a-i show significantly higher TOF (turnover frequencies) than the unfluorinated analogues for CO2/(cyclohexene oxide) copolymerization. The TOF is highly sensitive to the substituents R and R', and the highest TOF (2480 h(-1)) is obtained with 3g (R = Me, R' = iPr). Complex 3g is less sensitive to the residual protic impurities present in the monomers and shows activity at such a low catalyst concentration as [Zn]:[cyclohexene oxide] = 1:50,000, at which the unfluorinated analogue is completely inactive. By realizing the activity at such an extremely low [Zn]:[cyclohexene oxide] ratio, we achieve a high TON (turnover number) up to 10,100. High-molecular-weight polymers (M(n), 100,000-200,000) are obtained with a rather broad molecular-weight distribution (M(w)/M(n), 1.3-2.5). The obtained polymers are not perfectly alternating, and variable carbonate linkages (65-85%) are observed depending on the N-aryl ortho substituents R and R' and the polymerization conditions.  相似文献

The planar complexes [Ni(II)(pyN(2)(R2))(OH)](-), containing a terminal hydroxo group, are readily prepared from N,N'-(2,6-C(6)H(3)R(2))-2,6-pyridinedicarboxamidate(2-) tridentate pincer ligands (R(4)N)(OH), and Ni(OTf)(2). These complexes react cleanly and completely with carbon dioxide in DMF solution in a process of CO(2) fixation with formation of the bicarbonate product complexes [Ni(II)(pyN(2)(R2))(HCO(3))](-) having η(1)-OCO(2)H ligation. Fixation reactions follow second-order kinetics (rate = k(2)'[Ni(II)-OH][CO(2)]) with negative activation entropies (-17 to -28 eu). Reactions were monitored by growth and decay of metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (MLCT) bands at 350-450 nm. The rate order R = Me > macro > Et > Pr(i) > Bu(i) > Ph at 298 K (macro = macrocylic pincer ligand) reflects increasing steric hindrance at the reactive site. The inherent highly reactive nature of these complexes follows from k(2)' ≈ 10(6) M(-1) s(-1) for the R = Me system that is attenuated by only 100-fold in the R = Ph complex. A reaction mechanism is proposed based on computation of the enthalpic reaction profile for the R = Pr(i) system by DFT methods. The R = Et, Pr(i), and Bu(i) systems display biphasic kinetics in which the initial fast process is followed by a slower first order process currently of uncertain origin.  相似文献

The preparation of new "scorpionate" ligands in the form of the lithium derivatives [(Li(bdmpzdta)(H(2)O))(4)] (1) [bdmpzdta = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate], [Li(bdphpza)(H(2)O)(THF)] (2) [bdphpza = bis(3,5-diphenylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate], and [Li(bdphpzdta)(H(2)O)(THF)] (3) [bdphpzdta = bis(3,5-diphenylpyrazol-1-yl)dithioacetate] has been carried out. Furthermore, a series of titanium complexes has been prepared by reaction of TiCl(4)(THF)(2) with the lithium reagents [(Li(bdmpza)(H(2)O))(4)] (4) [bdmpza = bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetate] and 1. Under the appropriate experimental conditions neutral complexes, namely [TiCl(3)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)] (5), [TiCl(3)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)] (6), and [TiCl(2)(kappa(2)-bdmpzdta)(2)] (7), and cationic complexes, namely [TiCl(2)(THF)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)]Cl (8) and [TiCl(2)(THF)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)]Cl (9), were isolated. Complexes 8 and 9 undergo an interesting nucleophilic THF ring-opening reaction to give the corresponding alkoxide-containing species [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)(O(CH(2))(4)Cl)] (10) and [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)(O(CH(2))(4)Cl)] (11). A family of alkoxide-containing complexes of general formulas [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpza)(OR)] [R = Me (12); R = Et (14); R = (i)Pr (16); R = (t)Bu (18)] and [TiCl(2)(kappa(3)-bdmpzdta)(OR)] [R = Me (13); R = Et (15); R = (i)Pr (17)] was also prepared. The structures of these complexes have been determined by spectroscopic methods, and in addition, the X-ray crystal structures of 3, 7, 10, and 11 were also established.  相似文献

A series of half-sandwich pentamethylcyclopentadienyl chromium(III) complexes bearing a salicylaldiminato ligand, Cp*[2-R(1)-4-R(2)-6-(CH==NR(3))C(6)H(2)O]CrCl [R(1) = (i)Pr (1, 4), (t)Bu (2, 3, 5), Ad (6); R(2) = H (1, 2, 3), (t)Bu (4, 5, 6); R(3) = (i)Pr (1, 2, 5, 6), (t)Bu (3, 4)], were synthesized. All complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and the structures of complexes 1-4 and 6 were determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. These complexes adopt a pseudo-octahedral coordination environment with a three-legged piano stool geometry. Upon activation with a small amount of AlR(3), complexes 1-6 all catalyze the polymerization of ethylene in a quasi living fashion with good to high catalytic activity under mild conditions and produce ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene as spherical particles with a diameter of 1-6 mm. The catalytic activity of these complexes and the molecular weight of the produced polyethylene can be tuned in a broad range by changing the R(1), R(2), and R(3) groups as well as the AlR(3) cocatalyst. It was found that complex 6 with R(1) = Ad, R(2) = (t)Bu, and R(3) = (i)Pr shows the highest catalytic activity and produces polyethylene with the highest molecular weight.  相似文献

Addition of tert-butylisocyanide or 2,6-dimethylphenylisocyanide to a solution of trialkylaluminum or trialkylgallium results in formation of complexes R(3)M·C≡N(t)Bu (M = Al, R = Me (1), Et (2), (i)Bu (3), (t)Bu (4); M = Ga, R = (t)Bu (9)) or R(3)M·C≡N(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)) (M = Al, R = Me (5), Et (6), (i)Bu (7), (t)Bu (8); M = Ga, R = (t)Bu (10)), respectively. Complexes 1, 4, 5, and 8-10 are isolated as solids, whereas the triethylaluminum and triisobutylaluminum adducts 2, 3, 6, and 7 are viscous oils. Complexes 1-10 were characterized by NMR ((1)H, (13)C) and IR spectroscopies, and the molecular structures of 4, 5, and 8-10 were also determined by X-ray crystallography. The frequency of the C≡N stretch of the isocyanide increased by 58-91 cm(-1) upon complexation, consistent with coordination of the isocyanide as a σ donor. Enthalpies of complex formation for 1-10 were determined by isothermal titration calorimetry. Enthalpy data suggest the following order of decreasing Lewis acidity: (t)Bu(3)Al ? (i)Bu(3)Al ≥ Me(3)Al ≈ Et(3)Al ? (t)Bu(3)Ga. In the absence of oxygen and protic reagents, the reported complexes do not undergo insertion or elimination reactions upon heating their benzene-d(6) solutions to 80 °C.  相似文献

Olefin complexes (silox)(3)M(ole) (silox = (t)Bu(3)SiO; M = Nb (1-ole), Ta (2-ole); ole = C(2)H(4), C(2)H(3)Me, C(2)H(3)Et, C(2)H(3)C(6)H(4)-p-X (X = OMe, H, CF(3)), C(2)H(3)(t)Bu, (c)C(5)H(8), (c)C(6)H(10), (c)C(7)H(10) (norbornene)) rearrange to alkylidene isomers (silox)(3)M(alk) (M = Nb (1=alk), Ta (2=alk); alk = CHMe, CHEt, CH(n)Pr, CHCH(2)C(6)H(4)-p-X (X = OMe, H, CF(3) (Ta only)), CHCH(2)(t)Bu, (c)C(5)H(8), (c)C(6)H(10), (c)C(7)H(10) (norbornylidene)). Kinetics and labeling experiments suggest that the rearrangement proceeds via a delta-abstraction on a silox CH bond by the beta-olefin carbon to give (silox)(2)RM(kappa(2)-O,C-OSi(t)Bu(2)CMe(2)CH(2)) (M = Nb (4-R), Ta (6-R); R = Me, Et, (n)Pr, (n)Bu, CH(2)CH(2)C(6)H(4)-p-X (X = OMe, H, CF(3) (Ta only)), CH(2)CH(2)(t)Bu, (c)C(5)H(9), (c)C(6)H(11), (c)C(7)H(11) (norbornyl)). A subsequent alpha-abstraction by the cylometalated "arm" of the intermediate on an alpha-CH bond of R generates the alkylidene 1=alk or 2=alk. Equilibrations of 1-ole with ole' to give 1-ole' and ole, and relevant calculations on 1-ole and 2-ole, permit interpretation of all relative ground and transition state energies for the complexes of either metal.  相似文献

The nucleophilic addition of amidoximes R'C(NH(2))═NOH [R' = Me (2.Me), Ph (2.Ph)] to coordinated nitriles in the platinum(II) complexes trans-[PtCl(2)(RCN)(2)] [R = Et (1t.Et), Ph (1t.Ph), NMe(2) (1t.NMe(2))] and cis-[PtCl(2)(RCN)(2)] [R = Et (1c.Et), Ph (1c.Ph), NMe(2) (1c.NMe(2))] proceeds in a 1:1 molar ratio and leads to the monoaddition products trans-[PtCl(RCN){HN═C(R)ONC(R')NH(2)}]Cl [R = NMe(2); R' = Me ([3a]Cl), Ph ([3b]Cl)], cis-[PtCl(2){HN═C(R)ONC(R')NH(2)}] [R = NMe(2); R' = Me (4a), Ph (4b)], and trans/cis-[PtCl(2)(RCN){HN═C(R)ONC(R')NH(2)}] [R = Et; R' = Me (5a, 6a), Ph (5b, 6b); R = Ph; R' = Me (5c, 6c), Ph (5d, 6d), correspondingly]. If the nucleophilic addition proceeds in a 2:1 molar ratio, the reaction gives the bisaddition species trans/cis-[Pt{HN═C(R)ONC(R')NH(2)}(2)]Cl(2) [R = NMe(2); R' = Me ([7a]Cl(2), [8a]Cl(2)), Ph ([7b]Cl(2), [8b]Cl(2))] and trans/cis-[PtCl(2){HN═C(R)ONC(R')NH(2)}(2)] [R = Et; R' = Me (10a), Ph (9b, 10b); R = Ph; R' = Me (9c, 10c), Ph (9d, 10d), respectively]. The reaction of 1 equiv of the corresponding amidoxime and each of [3a]Cl, [3b]Cl, 5b-5d, and 6a-6d leads to [7a]Cl(2), [7b]Cl(2), 9b-9d, and 10a-10d. Open-chain bisaddition species 9b-9d and 10a-10d were transformed to corresponding chelated bisaddition complexes [7d](2+)-[7f](2+) and [8c](2+)-[8f](2+) by the addition of 2 equiv AgNO(3). All of the complexes synthesized bear nitrogen-bound O-iminoacylated amidoxime groups. The obtained complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, high-resolution ESI-MS, IR, and (1)H NMR techniques, while 4a, 4b, 5b, 6d, [7b](Cl)(2), [7d](SO(3)CF(3))(2), [8b](Cl)(2), [8f](NO(3))(2), 9b, and 10b were also characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Platinum(II) complexes with (fluoren-9-ylidene)methanedithiolato and its 2,7-di-tert-butyl- and 2,7-dimethoxy-substituted analogues were obtained by reacting different chloroplatinum(II) precursors with the piperidinium dithioates (pipH)[(2,7-R2C12H6)CHCS2] [R = H (1a), t-Bu (1b), or OMe (1c)] in the presence of piperidine. The anionic complexes Q2[Pt{S(2)C=C(C12H6R(2)-2,7)}2] [R = H, (Pr(4)N)(2)2a; R = t-Bu, (Pr4N)(2)2b, (Et4N)(2)2b; R = OMe, (Pr4N)(2)2c] were prepared from PtCl(2), piperidine, the corresponding QCl salt, and 1a-c in molar ratio 1:2:2:2. In the absence of QCl, the complexes (pipH)(2)2b and [Pt(pip)(4)]2b were isolated depending on the PtCl(2):pip molar ratio. The neutral complexes [Pt{S2C=C(C12H6R(2)-2,7)L(2)] [L = PPh(3), R = H (3a), t-Bu (3b), OMe (3c); L = PEt(3), R = H (4a), t-Bu (4b), OMe (4c); L(2) = dbbpy, R = H (5a), t-Bu (5b), OMe (5c) (dbbpy = 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridyl)] were similarly prepared from the corresponding precursors [PtCl2L2] and 1a-c in the presence of piperidine. Oxidation of Q(2)2b with [FeCp2]PF6 afforded the mixed Pt(II)-Pt(IV) complex Q2[Pt2{S2C=C[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}4] (Q(2)6, Q = Et4N+, Pr4N+). The protonation of (Pr4N)(2)2b with 2 equiv of triflic acid gave the neutral dithioato complex [Pt2{S2CCH[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}4] (7). The same reaction in 1:1 molar ratio gave the mixed dithiolato/dithioato complex Pr4N[Pt{S2C=C[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}{S2CCH[C12H6(t-Bu)(2)-2,7]}] (Pr(4)N8) while the corresponding DMANH+ salt was obtained by treating 7 with 2 equiv of 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene (DMAN). The crystal structures of 3b and 5c.CH2Cl2 have been solved by X-ray crystallography. All the platinum complexes are photoluminescent at 77 K in CH2Cl2 or KBr matrix, except for Q(2)6. Compounds 5a-c and Q8 show room-temperature luminescence in fluid solution. The electronic absorption and emission spectra of the dithiolato complexes reveal charge-transfer absorption and emission energies which are significantly lower than those of analogous platinum complexes with previously described 1,1-ethylenedithiolato ligands and in most cases compare well to those of 1,2-dithiolene complexes.  相似文献

A series of homobimetallic phosphinoamide-bridged diiron and dimanganese complexes in which the two metals maintain different coordination environments have been synthesized. Systematic variation of the steric and electronic properties of the phosphinoamide phosphorus and nitrogen substituents leads to structurally different complexes. Reaction of [(i)PrNKPPh(2)] (1) with MCl(2) (M = Mn, Fe) affords the phosphinoamide-bridged bimetallic complexes [Mn((i)PrNPPh(2))(3)Mn((i)PrNPPh(2))] (3) and [Fe((i)PrNPPh(2))(3)Fe((i)PrNPPh(2))] (4). Complexes 3 and 4 are iso-structural, with one metal center preferentially binding to the three amide ligands in a trigonal planar arrangement while the second metal center is ligated by three phosphine donors. A fourth phosphinoamide ligand caps the tetrahedral coordination sphere of the phosphine-ligated metal center. M?ssbauer spectroscopy of complex 4 suggests that the metals in these complexes are best described as Fe(II) centers. In contrast, treatment of MnCl(2) or FeI(2) with [MesNKP(i)Pr(2)] (2) leads to the formation of the halide-bridged species [(THF)Mn(μ-Cl)(MesNP(i)Pr(2))(2)Mn(MesNP(i)Pr(2))] (5) and [(THF)Fe(μ-I)(MesNP(i)Pr(2))(2)FeI (7), respectively. Utilization of FeCl(2) in place of FeI(2), however, leads exclusively to the C(3)-symmetric complex [Fe(MesNP(i)Pr(2))(3)FeCl] (6), structurally similar to 4 but with a halide bound to the phosphine-ligated Fe center. The M?ssbauer spectrum of 6 is also consistent with high spin Fe(II) centers. Thus, in the case of the [(i)PrNPPh(2)](-) and [MesNP(i)Pr(2)](-) ligands, zwitterionic complexes with the two metals in disparate coordination environments are preferentially formed. In the case of the more electron-rich ligand [(i)PrNP(i)Pr(2)](-), complexes with a 2:1 mixed donor ligand arrangement, in which one of the ligand arms has reversed orientation relative to the previous examples, are formed exclusively when [(i)PrNLiP(i)Pr(2)] (generated in situ) is treated with MCl(2) (M = Mn, Fe): (THF)(3)LiCl[Mn(N(i)PrP(i)Pr(2))(2)(P(i)Pr(2)N(i)Pr)MnCl] (8) and [Fe(N(i)PrP(i)Pr(2))(2)(P(i)Pr(2)N(i)Pr)FeCl] (9). Bimetallic complexes 3-9 have been structurally characterized using X-ray crystallography, revealing Fe-Fe interatomic distances indicative of metal-metal bonding in complexes 6 and 9 (and perhaps 4, to a lesser extent). All of the complexes appear to adopt high spin electron configurations, and magnetic measurements indicate significant antiferromagnetic interactions in Mn(2) complexes 5 and 8 and no discernible magnetic superexchange in Fe(2) complex 4. The redox behavior of complexes 3-9 has also been investigated using cyclic voltammetry, and theoretical investigations (DFT) were performed to gain insight into the metal-metal interactions in these unique asymmetric complexes.  相似文献

Several titanium isopropoxide complexes [N,N'-bis(2-oxo-3-R(1)-5-R(2)-phenylmethyl)-N,N'-bis(methylene-p-R(3)-C(6)H(4))-ethylenediamine]Ti(O(i)Pr)(2) [R(1) = t-Bu, R(2) = Me, R(3) = H (1b); R(1) = R(2) = t-Bu, R(3) = H, (2b); R(1) = R(2) = Cl, R(3) = H, (3b), R(1) = t-Bu, R(2) = Me, R(3) = Cl (4b); R(1) = R(2) = t-Bu, R(3) = Cl, (5b); R(1) = R(2) = R(3) = Cl, (6b)] supported over sterically demanding aryloxy based [N(2)O(2)]H(2) ligands have been designed as precatalysts for the ethylene polymerization. Specifically, the 1b-6b complexes, when treated with methylaluminoxane (MAO) under 88 ± 0.5 psi of ethylene at 30 °C for 3 h, produced polyethylene polymers of high molecular weight (M(w) = ca. 7.2-8.3 × 10(5) g mol(-1)) having broad molecular weight distribution (PDI = ca. 13.1-14.6). The 1b-6b complexes were conveniently synthesized from the direct reaction of the [N(2)O(2)]H(2) ligands, 1a-6a, with Ti(O(i)Pr)(4) in 69-86% yield.  相似文献

Reactions of [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)]X (X = PF(6), BF(4)) with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) and ammonium dialkyldithiophosphates, (NH(4))[S(2)P(OR)(2)] (R = Et, (i)Pr), yield a series of novel Cu(I) polynuclear complexes, trinuclear [Cu(3)(mu-dppm)(3)(mu(3)-Cl){S(2)P(OEt)(2)}] (PF(6)) 1 and [Cu(3)(mu-dppm)(2){S(2)P(OR)(2)}(2)](PF(6)) (R = Et, 2; (i)Pr, 3), tetranuclear [Cu(4)(mu-dppm)(2) {S(2)P(OEt)(2)}(4)] 4, and hexanuclear [Cu(6)(mu-dppm)(2)(mu(4)-Cl){S(2)P(O(i)()Pr)(2)}(4)](BF(4)) 5. Similarly, the reaction of [Cu(2)(mu-L-L)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2) (L-L, dppm, dppe = Ph(2)PCH(2)CH(2)PPh(2)) with (NH(4))[S(2)P(OR)(2)] yields dinuclear [Cu(2)(mu-dppm)(2){S(2)P(OR)(2)}(2)] 6 (R= (i)Pr, 6A; Et, 6B), trinuclear [Cu(3)(mu-dppe)(3)(mu-Cl)(2){S(2)P(O(i)Pr)(2)}] 9, and polymeric [Cu(mu(2)-dppe){S(2)P(OR)(2)}](n) (R = Et, 7; (i)Pr, 8) complexes. The formation of 1 and 5 involved the abstraction of chloride from dichloromethane when the Cu/S(2)P(OR)(2) ratio exceeded 1, but when ratio was 1:1, no Cl abstraction occurred, as in compound 4. Compound 9, however, was obtained as a 12% byproduct in the synthesis of 8 using a 1:1:1 ratio of Cu/dppe/S(2)P(O(i)Pr)(2). The chloride binds to Cu atoms in a mu(3)-Cl mode by capping one face of the Cu(3) triangle of cluster 1. A mu(4)-Cl caps a single tetragonal face of the trigonal prism of cluster 5, and in the cluster 9, two chlorides bond in mu(2)-Cl modes. Both clusters 2 and 3 exhibit the mu(3)-S mode of bonding for dtp ligands. Only cluster 5 exhibited close Cu...Cu contacts (2.997-3.0238 A). All of compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and pertinent crystallographic data for 1, 5, and 9 are are follows: (1) C(79)H(76)ClCu(3)F(6)O(2)P(8)S(2), triclinic, P, a = 11.213(1) A, b = 14.142(1) A, c = 25.910(2) A, alpha = 95.328(2) degrees , beta = 99.594(2) degrees , gamma = 102.581(2) degrees , V = 3918.2(6) A(3), Z = 2; (5) C(74)H(100)BClCu(6)F(4)O(8)P(8)S(8), monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 25.198(4) A, b = 15.990(3) A, c = 25.421(4) A, beta = 106.027(3) degrees , V = 9845(3)A(3), Z = 4; (9) C(84)H(86)Cl(2)Cu(3)O(2)P(7)S(2), monoclinic, C2/c, with a = 24.965(3) A, b = 17.058(2) A, c = 20.253(2) A, beta = 95.351(4) degrees , V = 8587.4(17)A(3), Z = 4.  相似文献

Air-stable rhenium(V) oxo complexes are formed when [ReOCl(3)(PPh(3))(2)] is treated with N-heterocyclic carbenes of the 1,3-dialkyl-4,5-dimethylimidazol-2-ylidene type, L(R) (R = Me, Et, i-Pr). Complexes of the compositions [ReO(2)(L(R))(4)](+), [ReOCl(L(R))(4)](2+), or [ReO(OMe)(L(R))(4)](2+) can be isolated depending on the alkyl substituents at the nitrogen atoms of the ligands and the reaction conditions applied. Despite the steric overcrowding of the equatorial coordination spheres of the metal atoms by each of the four carbene ligands, stable complexes with six-coordinate rhenium atoms are obtained. Steric demands of the alkyl groups allow control of the stability of the mono-oxo intermediates. Air-stable cationic complexes of the compositions [ReOCl(L(Me))(4)](2+), [ReOCl(L(Et))(4)](2+), and [ReO(OMe)(L(Me))(4)](2+) have been isolated, whereas reactions of [ReOCl(3)(PPh(3))(2)] or other rhenium(V) precursors with the more bulky 1,3-diisopropyl-4,5-dimethylimidazol-2-ylidene (L(i)(-)(Pr)) directly yield the dioxo complex [ReO(2)(L(i)(-)(Pr))(4)](+). X-ray structures of [ReO(2)(L(i)(-)(Pr))(4)][ReO(4)], [ReO(2)(L(i)(-)(Pr))(4)][PF(6)], [ReO(2)(L(Me))(4)][ReO(4)](0.45)[PF(6)](0.55), [ReO(MeOH)(L(Me))(4)][PF(6)](2), and [ReOCl(L(Et))(4)][PF(6)](2) show that the equatorial coordination spheres of the rhenium atoms are essentially planar irrespective of the steric demands of the individual carbene ligands.  相似文献

The synthesis and reactivity of the cationic niobium and tantalum monomethyl complexes [(BDI)MeM(N(t)Bu)][X] (BDI = [Ar]NC(CH(3))CHC(CH(3))N[Ar], Ar = 2,6-(i)Pr(2)C(6)H(3); M = Nb, Ta; X = MeB(C(6)F(5))(3), B(C(6)F(5))(4)] was investigated. The cationic alkyl complexes failed to irreversibly bind CO but formed phosphine-trapped acyl complexes [(BDI)(R(3)PC(O)Me)M(N(t)Bu)][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] (R = Et, Cy) in the presence of a combination of trialkylphosphines and CO. Treatment of the monoalkyl cationic Nb complex with XylNC (Xyl = 2,6-Me(2)-C(6)H(3)) resulted in irreversible formation of the iminoacyl complex [(BDI)(XylN[double bond, length as m-dash]C(Me))Nb(N(t)Bu)][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], which did not bind phosphines but would add a methide group to the iminoacyl carbon to provide the known ketimine complex (BDI)(XylNCMe(2))Nb(N(t)Bu). Further stoichiometric chemistry explored i) migratory insertion reactions to form new alkoxide, amidinate, and ketimide complexes; ii) protonolysis reactions with Ph(3)SiOH to form thermally robust cationic siloxide complexes; and iii) catalytic high-density polyethylene formation mediated by the cationic Nb methyl complex.  相似文献

In a search for more hydrocarbon solvent soluble derivatives of the parent ligand, 2,6-[Ph(2)P(O)CH(2)](2)C(5)H(3)NO (1a), a series of new ligands, 2,6-[R(2)P(O)CH(2)](2)C(5)H(3)NO [R = Bz (1b); Tol (1c); Et (1d); Pr (1e); Bu (1f); Pn (1g); Hx (1h); Hp (1i); and Oct (1j)] and 2,6-[RR'P(O)CH(2)](2)C(5)H(3)NO [R = Ph, R' = Bz (2a); R = Ph, R' = Me (2b); R = Ph, R' = Hx (2c); R = Ph, R' = Oct (2d)], have been prepared by either Arbusov or Grignard substitutions on 2,6-bis(chloromethyl)pyridine followed by N-oxidation. The new ligands have been characterized by spectroscopic methods, and their coordination chemistry with selected lanthanide ions has been surveyed. Several 1:1 and 2:1 ligand/metal complexes have been isolated, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses for Nd(2a)(NO(3))(3), Er(2a)(NO(3))(3), Yb(1d)(NO(3))(3), and [Nd(1c)(2)](NO(3))(3) are described. The new structural data are discussed in relation to the structures of complexes formed by 1a.  相似文献

New [M(R(2)pipdt)(2)](BF(4))(2) salts [R(2)pipdt = N,N'-dialkyl-piperazine-2,3-dithione; M = Pd(II), R = Me and M = Pt(II), R = Me, Et, Pr(i)] bearing redox-active cationic dithiolene complexes have been prepared and characterized. These cations react with the redox-active [M(mnt)(2)](2-) [M = Pd(II), Pt(II); mnt = maleonitrile-2,3-dithiolate] anionic dithiolenes to form salts describable as ion pair charge-transfer complexes. X-ray crystallographic studies have shown that [M(Me(2)pipdt)(2)][M(mnt)(2)] complexes, with M = Pd(II) and Pt(II), are isomorphous. Crystal data of the Pt salt (3a): triclinic, Ponemacr; (No. 2); Z = 1; T = 293(2) K; a = 6.784(7) A, b = 8.460(6) A, c = 13.510(5) A, alpha = 100.63(2) degrees, beta = 104.04(2) degrees, gamma = 96.90(2) degrees; R1 = 0.0691 [wR2 = 0.2187 (all data)]. Structural data show that approximately square-planar [Pt(Me(2)pipdt)(2)] dications and regular square-planar [Pt(mnt)(2)] dianions form an infinite anion-cation one-dimensional stack along axis a with a Pt...Pt a/2 distance of 3.392 A and a Pt...Pt...Pt angle of 180 degrees. Anions and cations arrange themselves face-to-face so as to take on a staggered arrangement. These salts exhibit strong absorptions in the visible-near-infrared region assigned to ion pair charge-transfer transitions. A relation between the optical and thermal electron transfer in the solid state is obtained using a "Marcus-Hush model", and a solid-state electrical conductivity in agreement with expectations is observed. Vibrational spectroscopy is in agreement with the existence of charge-transfer interactions between the cationic and anionic components of the salts.  相似文献
