In this paper, we establish a few existence results of nonoscillatory solutions to second-order nonlinear neutral delay differential equations, construct several Manntype iterative approximation schemes for these nonoscillatory solutions, and give some error estimates between the approximate solutions and the nonoscillatory solutions. In this paper, using the fixed-point index theorems and the cone theory we study the structure of the positive solutions to a kind of second-order three-point boundary value problems. In this paper,we study the one-dimensional motion of viscous gas with a general pres- sure law and a general density-dependent viscosity coefficient when the initial density connects to the vacuum state with a jump.We prove the global existence and the uniqueness of weak solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations by using the line method.For this,some new a priori estimates are obtained to take care of the general viscosity coefficientμ(ρ)instead ofρ~θ.  相似文献

This paper deals with the properties of positive solutions to a quasilinear parabolic equation with the nonlinear absorption and the boundary flux. The necessary and sufficient conditions on the global existence of solutions are described in terms of different parameters appearing in this problem. Moreover, by a result of Chasseign and Vazquez and the comparison principle, we deduce that the blow-up occurs only on the boundary (?)Ω. In this paper, by using the comparing theorem, Razumikhin-type theorem and V-function method, we consider a nonautonomous predator-prey system with stage-structure and time-delay. We get the sufficient conditions for the uniform persistence and the solutions global attractivity of this system. For a periodic system, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of a positive periodic solution of this system. For an almost periodic system, we prove the existence and the uniform asymptotic stability of the almost periodic solutions of this system.  相似文献

In this paper,we focus on studying approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation and their error estimates.We employ the theory of planar dynamical systems to study traveling wave solutions of the compound KdV-Burgers equation.We obtain some global phase portraits under different parameter conditions as well as the existence of bounded traveling wave solutions.Furthermore,we investigate the relations between the behavior of bounded traveling wave solutions and the dissipation coefficient r of the equation.We obtain two critical values of r,and find that a bounded traveling wave appears as a kink profile solitary wave if |r| is greater than or equal to some critical value,while it appears as a damped oscillatory wave if |r| is less than some critical value.By means of analysis and the undetermined coefficients method,we find that the compound KdV-Burgers equation only has three kinds of bell profile solitary wave solutions without dissipation.Based on the above discussions and according to the evolution relations of orbits in the global phase portraits,we obtain all approximate damped oscillatory solutions by using the undetermined coefficients method.Finally,using the homogenization principle,we establish the integral equations reflecting the relations between exact solutions and approximate solutions of damped oscillatory solutions.Moreover,we also give the error estimates for these approximate solutions.  相似文献

We study the blow-up solutions for the Davey–Stewartson system(D–S system, for short)in L2x(R2). First, we give the nonlinear profile decomposition of solutions for the D–S system. Then, we prove the existence of minimal mass blow-up solutions. Finally, by using the characteristic of minimal mass blow-up solutions, we obtain the limiting profile and a precisely mass concentration of L2 blow-up solutions for the D–S system.  相似文献

In this work, we propose a new variational model for multi-modal image registration and present an efficient numerical implementation. The model minimizes a new functional based on using reformulated normalized gradients of the images as the fidelity term and higher-order derivatives as the regularizer. A key feature of the model is its ability of guaranteeing a diffeomorphic transformation which is achieved by a control term motivated by the quasi-conformal map and Beltrami coefficient. The existence of the solution of this model is established. To solve the model numerically, we design a Gauss-Newton method to solve the resulting discrete optimization problem and prove its convergence; a multilevel technique is employed to speed up the initialization and avoid likely local minima of the underlying functional. Finally, numerical experiments demonstrate that this new model can deliver good performances for multi-modal image registration and simultaneously generate an accurate diffeomorphic transformation.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a class of nonlinear second-order singular Neumann boundary value problem with parameters in the boundary conditions. By the fixed point index, spectral theory of the linear operators, and lower and upper solutions method, we prove that there exists a constant λ* > 0 such that for λ∈ (0, λ * ), NBVP has at least two positive solutions; for λ = λ* , NBVP has at least one positive solution; for λ > λ* , NBVP has no solution.  相似文献

In this paper similarly to the second-order case, we give an elementary and straightforward proof of global Lp estimates for the initial-value parabolic problem of the bi-harmonic type. Moreover, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of the solutions in the suitable space using the potential theory, Marcinkiewicz interpolation theorem and approximation argument. In this paper,we discuss a simplified model of mitosis in frog eggs proposed by M.T. Borisuk and J.J. Tyson in [1]. By using rigorous qualitative analysis, we prove the existence of the periodic solutions on a large scale and present the space region of the periodic solutions and the parameter region coresponding to the periodic solution. We also present the space region and the parameter region where there are no periodic solutions. The results are in accordance with the numerical results in [1] up to the qualitative property.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the system of classical particles coupled with a Klein-Gordon field in two dimensions.We establish a-priori-bounds on the solutions of this system with initial data satisfying a size restriction derived from conservation of energy.This result,together with the smoothing of"velocity averaging",yields the existence of global weak solutions to the corresponding restricted initial value problem.The size restriction is necessary since energy of the system is indefinite.Finally,we show that the weak solutions preserve the total mass.  相似文献
