In this paper, bamboo charcoal was successfully developed for the solid-phase extraction adsorbent for the determination of six organophosphorus pesticides in water samples. After the bamboo charcoal was pretreated and packed in the solid-phase extraction cartridge, the organophosphorus pesticides in water samples were carried out the solid-phase extraction. To establish a perfect solid-phase extraction procedure, the experimental conditions including the eluent, eluent volume, pH of the sample, flow rate of the sample, and loading volume of the sample were all investigated. When 100 mL water samples in the pH range of 6–7 were loaded with the flow rate of 2.5 mL · min?1 and then eluted with 10 mL acetonitrile, the proposed extraction method was validated by the recovery, correlation coefficient (R2), repeatability (RSD, n = 7) and LODs, which were 69.6–93.4%, 0.9982–0.9998, 2.9–5.6%, and 0.08–1.04 µg · L?1, respectively. Furthermore, the analysis of the tap, snow, and river water samples demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed SPE method for real water samples. Based on the aforementioned factors, it could be concluded that bamboo charcoal was a good solid-phase extraction adsorbent, and this proposed solid-phase extraction method was suitable for the effective enrichment and determination of the organophosphorus pesticides in water samples.  相似文献

A simple, rapid and efficient method termed dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction combined with liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection, has been developed for the extraction and determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in water and fruit juice samples. Parameters such as the kind and volume of extraction solvent and dispersive solvent, extraction time and salt effect were optimized. Under optimum conditions, the enrichment factors ranged from 296 to 462. The linear range was 0.01–100 μg L?1 and limits of detection were 0.001–0.01 μg L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSDs, for 5 μg L?1 of PAHs) varied from 1.0 to 11.5% (n = 3). The relative recoveries of PAHs from tap, river, well and sea water samples at spiking level of 5 μg L?1 were 82.6–117.1, 74.9–113.9, 77.0–122.4 and 86.1–119.3%, respectively. The relative recoveries of PAHs from grape and apple juice samples at spiking levels of 2.5 and 5 μg L?1 were 80.8–114.7 and 88.9–123.0%, respectively. It is concluded that the proposed method can be successfully applied for determination of PAHs in water and fruit juice samples.  相似文献

Extraction and determination of estrogens in water samples were performed using alcoholic-assisted dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (AA-DLLME) and high-performance liquid chromatography (UV/Vis detection). A Plackett–Burman design and a central composite design were applied to evaluate the AA-DLLME procedure. The effect of six parameters on extraction efficiency was investigated. The factors studied were volume of extraction and dispersive solvents, extraction time, pH, amount of salt and agitation rate. According to Plackett–Burman design results, the effective parameters were volume of extraction solvent and pH. Next, a central composite design was applied to obtain optimal condition. The optimized conditions were obtained at 220 μL 1-octanol as extraction solvent, 700 μL ethanol as dispersive solvent, pH 6 and 200 μL sample volume. Linearity was observed in the range of 1–500 μg L?1 for E2 and 0.1–100 μg L?1 for E1. Limits of detection were 0.1 μg L?1 for E2 and 0.01 μg L?1 for E1. The enrichment factors and extraction recoveries were 42.2, 46.4 and 80.4, 86.7, respectively. The relative standard deviations for determination of estrogens in water were in the range of 3.9–7.2 % (n = 3). The developed method was successfully applied for the determination of estrogens in environmental water samples.  相似文献

In the present study, an environment-friendly sample preparation method termed ionic liquid-based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction combined with flame atomic absorption spectrometry has been developed for the determination of Pb(II) ion in water samples prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry determination. In this method, ionic liquid was used as an extraction solvent instead of the organic solvent used in the conventional dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) assay, and there is no need for a chelating agent. Several variables that may affect extraction efficiencies, including pH, the volume of ionic liquid, the type and volume of disperser solvent, salt addition, and the time for centrifugation and extraction were studied and optimised. Under the optimised conditions, the calibration curve exhibited linearity over the range of 20.0–1000.0 μg L?1. The enrichment factor and the limit of detection based on 3Sb/m were 35.0 and 5.9 μg L?1, respectively. Seven replicate determination of a solution containing of 100.0 μg L?1 Pb(II) ions gave a relative standard deviation of ±2.1%. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method for Pb(II) determination was assessed by the analysis of certi?ed reference material and various water samples and the satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

A high-temperature-resistant solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fiber was prepared based on polyetherimide (PEI) by the electrospinning method. The PEI polymeric solution was converted to nanofibers using high voltages and directly coated on a stainless steel SPME needle. The scanning electron microscopy images of PEI coating showed fibers with diameter range of 500–650 nm with a homogeneous and smooth surface morphology. The SPME nanofibers coating was optimized for PEI percentage, electrospinning voltage, and time. The extraction efficiency of the coating was investigated for headspace SPME of some environmentally important polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from aqueous samples followed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry measurement. In addition, the important extraction parameters including extraction temperature, extraction time, ionic strength, as well as desorption temperature and time were investigated and optimized. The detection limits of the method under optimized conditions ranged from 1 to 5 ng L?1 using time-scheduled selected ion monitoring mode. The relative standard deviations of the method were between 1.1 and 7.1 %, at a concentration level of 500 ng L?1. The calibration curves of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons showed linearity in the range of 5–1000 ng L?1. The developed method was successfully applied to real water samples and the relative recovery percentages obtained from the spiked water samples were from 84 to 98 % for all the selected analytes except for acenaphthene which was from 75 to 106 %.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel mixed ionic liquids-dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction method was developed for rapid enrichment and determination of environmental pollutants in water samples. In this method, two kinds of ionic liquids, hydrophobic ionic liquid and hydrophilic ionic liquid, were used as extraction solvent and disperser solvent, respectively. DDT and its metabolites were used as model analytes and high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detector for the analysis. Factors that may affect the extraction recoveries, such as type and volume of extraction solvent (hydrophobic ionic liquid) and disperser solvent (hydrophilic ionic liquid), extraction time, sample pH and ionic strength, were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range was 1–100 μg L−1, limits of detection could reach 0.21–0.49 μg L−1, and relative standard deviation was 6.01–8.48 % (n = 7) for the analytes. Satisfactory results were achieved when the method was applied to analyze the target pollutants in environmental water samples with spiked recoveries over the range of 85.7–106.8 %.

This study aims to investigate the feasibility of etched sand particles being used as solid-phase extraction adsorbents to enrich polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), which are typical persistent organic pollutants in the environment, at trace levels. Gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry was selected to detect the compounds. Etched sand particles exhibited excellent merits on the enrichment of PCBs. Related important factors affecting extraction efficiencies were investigated and optimized in detail. Under optimized conditions, low limits of detection (0.42 to 3.69 ng L?1), wide linear range (10 to 1,000 ng L?1), and high repeatability (1.9 to 8.2 %) were achieved. The developed method was validated with several real water samples, and satisfactory results were obtained. All of these findings indicate that etched sand particles would be useful for the enrichment and determination of organic pollutants at trace levels in water samples.  相似文献

An on-line extraction/determination set up was designed for micro solid-phase extraction of clodinafop propargyl from water, soil and wheat samples using electrospun polyamide nanofiber mats. The prepared mats were packed in a stainless steel tube which conveniently acted as a high-performance liquid chromatography injection loop. Influential parameters affecting the extraction efficiency were optimized using a distilled water sample fortified with 25 μg L?1 of clodinafop propargyl. An enrichment factor of 440 was achieved for clodinafop propargyl indicating the ability of the whole procedure. Under the optimum conditions, the linearity for the analyte was in the range of 6–700 μg L?1, while a limit of detection and limit of quantification of 2 and 6 μg L?1 were achieved, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day RSD% at the concentration level of 25 μg L?1 were 4.6 and 9.3 %, respectively. To investigate the matrix effect, the developed method was applied to the analysis of real water samples including paddy and river waters as well as the wheat and soil samples. The relative recovery percentages for the spiked samples were in the range of 63–95 %.  相似文献

A novel, fast and efficient method for the analysis of nitroaniline isomers as model compounds was developed using vortex-assisted supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction (VA-SMS-LLME). A vortex mixer was used as the mixer in supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction, and it decreased the extraction time greatly. Several important parameters influencing extraction efficiency, such as the type and volume of extraction solvent, pH of sample, salt effect and extraction time, were optimised in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factor was 133 for p-nitroaniline, 98 for m-nitroaniline and 115 for o-nitroaniline, and the limits of detection by HPLC were 0.3, 1.0 and 0.5 μg L?1, respectively. Linearity with determination coefficient from 0.9981 to 0.9993 was evaluated using water samples spiked with the nitroanilines at fourteen different concentration ranging from 4 to 1000 μg L?1. The ranges of intra-day and inter-day precision (n = 5) at 10 μg L?1 of nitroanilines were 1.67–7.05% and 9.4–11.6%, respectively. The VA-SMS-LLME method was successfully applied for preconcentration of nitroanilines in environmental water samples.  相似文献

A simple and efficient liquid-phase microextraction technique was developed using ultrasound-assisted emulsification solidified floating organic drop microextraction combined with flame atomic absorption spectrometry, for the extraction and determination of trace amounts of iron and copper in real samples. 2-Mercaptopyridine n-oxide was used as chelating agent and 1-dodecanol was selected as extraction solvent. The factors influencing the complex formation and extraction were optimized. Under optimum conditions, an enrichment factor of ~13 was obtained for both iron and copper from only 6.7 mL of aqueous phase. The analytical curves were linear between 40–800 and 20–1,200 μg L?1 for iron and copper respectively. Based on three SD of the blank, the detection limits were 8.6 and 4.1 μg L?1 for iron and copper respectively. The relative SDs for ten replicate measurements of 500 μg L?1 of metal ions were 2.9 and 1.2 for iron and copper respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied for determination of iron and copper in environmental waters and some food samples including chess, rice, honey and powdered milk. Finally, method validation was made using rock certified reference material. A student’s t test indicated that there was no significant difference between experimental results and certified values.  相似文献

A new microextraction method termed ionic liquid dispersive liquid-phase microextraction has been developed for the rapid enrichment and sensitive determination of tetrabromobisphenol A in environmental water samples prior to high-performance liquid chromatography–electrospray tandem mass spectrometry. Instead of using toxic organic solvents, green solvent ionic liquid was used as extraction solvent. Factors that may influence the enrichment efficiency, such as type and volume of ionic liquid, type and volume of disperser solvent, sample pH, extraction time and NaCl content were investigated and optimized in detail. Under optimum conditions, linearity of the method was observed over the range 1–100 μg L?1 with correlation coefficient 0.9986. The proposed method has been found to have excellent sensitivity with limit of detection 0.06 μg L?1 and precision 6.95% (RSD, n = 5). This method has been successfully applied to analyze real environmental water samples and satisfactory results were achieved. All these results indicated that the present method was an environmentally friendly method for the rapid enrichment and sensitive analysis of tetrabromobisphenol A at trace level in environmental water samples.  相似文献

Graphene, a novel class of carbon nanostructures, has great promise for use as sorbent materials because of its ultrahigh specific surface area. A new method using reduced graphene oxide (RGO) as sorbent was developed for the preconcentration of trace amounts of zinc (Zn) to its determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Zinc could be adsorbed quantitatively on RGO in the pH range of 1–9, and then eluted completely with 0.5 mL of 0.1 mol L?1 HCl. Some effective parameters on the extraction were selected and optimized. Under optimum conditions, the calibration graph was linear in the concentration range of 0.2–15 μg L?1 with a detection limit of 0.14 μg L?1 with an enrichment factor of 100.12. The relative standard deviation for ten replicate measurements of 10 μg L?1 of Zn was 0.58 %, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied in the analysis of rock and vegetable samples. Good spiked recoveries over the range of 99.9–100 % were obtained. This work not only proposes a useful method for sample preconcentration, but also reveals the great potential of graphene as an excellent sorbent material in analytical processes.  相似文献

A novel, efficient, and environmentally friendly method—supramolecular solvent liquid–liquid microextraction (SMS-LLME) combined with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)—was first established for the determination of p-nitrophenol and o-nitrophenol in water samples. Several important parameters influencing extraction efficiency, such as the type and volume of extraction solvent, pH of sample, temperature, salt effect, extraction time, and stirring rate, were optimized in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factor was 166 for p-nitrophenol and 160 for o-nitrophenol, and the limits of detection by HPLC were 0.26 and 0.58 μg L?1, respectively. Excellent linearity with coefficients of correlation from 0.9996 to 0.9997 was observed in the concentration range of 2–1,000 μg L?1. The ranges of intra- and interday precision (n = 5) at 100 μg L?1 of nitrophenols were 5.85–7.76 and 10.2–11.9 %, respectively. In this study, a new sample vial has been designed for the extraction and determination of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) in water samples by headspace solid-phase microextraction method. The special feature of this new vial is cooling the HS above the aqueous sample by cold water stream for maximum analyte absorption on SPME fiber coating. The analysis was by a gas chromatograph equipped with flame ionization detector and a capillary column (CP-sil 13 CB). Some significant variables affecting the extraction procedure were optimized. By use of divinylbenzene/carboxen/polydimethylsiloxane fiber, a sample volume of 10 mL, stirring rate of 1,000 rpm, salt concentration of 24%, extraction time of 15 min and extraction temperature of 83 °C, detection limit of 0.022 μg L?1 and a good linearity (R 2 = 0.998) in a calibration range of 0.1–400 μg L?1 were achieved. The relative standard deviation for triplicate runs ranged between 6 and 8%. The method could be applied to the analysis of trace levels of MTBE in various water samples.  相似文献

The application of the recently introduced dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) for the separation and determination of an inorganic selenite [Se(IV)] derivative by means of a gas chromatography–electron-capture detection system has been studied. The selenium derivative was extracted with the DLLME technique using a mixture of ethanol (disperser solvent) and chlorobenzene (extraction solvent). The influences of the various analytical parameters on the derivatization reaction and microextraction procedure have been evaluated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, an enrichment factor of 122 was obtained for only 5.00 mL of the water sample. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 0.015–10 μg L?1 with a detection limit of 0.005 μg L?1. The relative standard deviation for ten replicate measurements of 2 μg L?1 of selenium was 4.1%. The method was applied to the determination of selenium in environmental surface water samples with satisfactory recovery.  相似文献

A solid-phase extraction coupled with dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) method followed by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) was developed for the extraction, preconcentration, and determination of ultra trace amounts of lead in water samples. Variables affecting the performance of both steps were thoroughly investigated. Under optimized conditions, 100 mL of lead solution were first concentrated using a solid phase sorbent. The extracts were collected in 1.50 mL of THF and 18 μL of carbon tetrachloride was dissolved in the collecting solvent. Then 5.0 mL pure water was injected rapidly into the mixture of THF and carbon tetrachloride for DLLME, followed by GFAAS determination of lead. The analytical figures of merit of method developed were determined. With an enrichment factor of 1,800, a linear calibration of 3–60 ng L?1 and a limit of detection of 1.0 ng L?1 were obtained. The relative standard deviation for seven replicate measurements of 30 ng L?1 of lead was 5.2 %. The relative recoveries of lead in mineral, tap, well, and river water samples at spiking level of 10 and 20 ng L?1 are in the range 94–106 %.  相似文献

In the present work, a simple procedure is presented for the extraction and determination of pre-concentrated trace amounts of palladium ions through solid phase extraction (SPE) and flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. This process was performed using Nylon-66/5-(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene) rhodanine composite nanofibres. These nanofibres were produced under optimised conditions via two-axial electrospinning technique and characterised by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. The effect of experimental parameters including solution pH, the type and volume of eluent and contact time was investigated in extraction and desorption process. Under the optimised conditions, good linearity in the range of 0.07–8 μg L?1 and low detection limit of 0.015 μg L?1 were obtained. High enrichment factor of 187.5 and good relative standard deviation of ±2.2% at 5 μg L?1 of palladium had been achieved. The sorbent capacity for palladium adsorption was obtained 27 mg palladium per gram of nanofibres. So, the SPE was successfully applied to pre-concentrate and determine Pd(II) ions with flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer in real samples.  相似文献

Dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) in conjunction with high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) has been applied to the extraction and determination of EDTA in sediments and water samples. The effect of extraction, nature and volume of disperser solvent, pH value of sample solution, extraction time and extraction temperature were investigated. Under the optimal conditions the analytical range of EDTA was from 3.0 to 50.0 μg L?1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9982 and a detection limit of 1.7 μg L?1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 5.4% (n?=?5), and the recovery values were in the range of 89–95%. The simplicity, high enrichment, high recovery and good repeatability are the main advantages of the method presented. The DLLME-HPLC-DAD method was successfully applied to the analysis of EDTA in aqueous samples.  相似文献
