In this paper, we study the rate of convergence for the iterative combinations of a certain family of linear positive operators in terms of higher-order integral modulus of smoothness. We have used the technique of linear approximating method, namely Steklov mean, to prove the main result. In the end, we propose some other sequences of linear positive operators and obtain the recurrence formulae for the central moments, Voronovskaja type asymptotic formulae and error estimations.  相似文献

We introduce certain linear positive operators and study some approximation properties of these operators in the space of functions, continuous on a compact set, of two variables. We also find the order of this approximation by using modulus of continuity. Moreover we define an rth order generalization of these operators and observe its approximation properties. Furthermore, we study the convergence of the linear positive operators in a weighted space of functions of two variables and find the rate of this convergence using weighted modulus of continuity.  相似文献

In the present paper we introduce a generalization of positive linear operators and obtain its Korovkin type approximation properties. The rates of convergence of this generalization is also obtained by means of modulus of continuity and Lipschitz type maximal functions. The second purpose of this paper is to obtain weighted approximation properties for the generalization of positive linear operators defined in this paper. Also we obtain a differential equation so that the second moment of our operators is a particular solution of it. Lastly, some Voronovskaja type asymptotic formulas are obtained for Meyer-König and Zeller type and Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn type operators.  相似文献

Balcerzak, Dems and Komisarski [M. Balcerzak, K. Dems, A. Komisarski, Statistical convergence and ideal convergence for sequences of functions, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 328 (2007) 715-729] have recently introduced the notion of equi-statistical convergence which is stronger than the statistical uniform convergence. In this paper we study its use in the Korovkin-type approximation theory. Then, we construct an example such that our new approximation result works but its classical and statistical cases do not work. We also compute the rates of equi-statistical convergence of sequences of positive linear operators. Furthermore, we obtain a Voronovskaya-type theorem in the equi-statistical sense for a sequence of positive linear operators constructed by means of the Bernstein polynomials.  相似文献

In the present paper, we construct a new sequence of Bernstein‐Kantorovich operators depending on a parameter α. The uniform convergence of the operators and rate of convergence in local and global sense in terms of first‐ and second‐order modulus of continuity are studied. Some graphs and numerical results presenting the advantages of our construction are obtained. The last section is devoted to bivariate generalization of Bernstein‐Kantorovich operators and their approximation behaviors.  相似文献

For the tensor product of k copies of the same one-dimensional Bernstein-type operator L, we consider the problem of finding the best constant in preservation of the usual modulus of continuity for the lp-norm on Rk. Two main results are obtained: the first one gives both necessary and sufficient conditions in order that 1+k1−1/p is the best uniform constant for a single operator; the second one gives sufficient conditions in order that 1+k1−1/p is the best uniform constant for a family of operators. The general results are applied to several classical families of operators usually considered in approximation theory. Throughout the paper, probabilistic concepts and methods play an important role.  相似文献

We construct and analyze Bernstein-type operators on triangles with curved sides, their product and Boolean sum. We study the interpolation properties and approximation accuracy. The present paper deals with a new positive linear operator which gives a connection between the Bernstein operators and their genuine Bernstein‐Durrmeyer variants. These new operators depend on a certain function τ defined on [0,1] and improve the classical results in some particular cases. Some approximation properties of the new operators in terms of first and second modulus of continuity and the Ditzian‐Totik modulus of smoothness are studied. Quantitative Voronovskaja–type theorems and Grüss‐Voronovskaja–type theorems constitute a great deal of interest of the present work. Some numerical results that compare the rate of convergence of these operators with the classical ones and illustrate the relevance of the theoretical results are given.  相似文献

In this article we introduce the smooth Poisson-Cauchy type singular integral operators over the real line. Here we study their simultaneous global smoothness preservation property with respect to the Lp norm, 1?p?, by involving higher order moduli of smoothness. Also we study their simultaneous approximation to the unit operator with rates involving the modulus of continuity with respect to the uniform norm. The produced Jackson type inequalities are almost sharp containing elegant constants, and they reflect the high order of differentiability of the engaged function.  相似文献
