A series of homodinuclear platinum(II) complexes containing bridging chalcogenido ligands, [Pt(2)(mu-E)(2)(P empty set N)(4)] (P empty set N=dppy, E=S (1), Se (2); P empty set N=tBu-dppy, E=S (3)) (dppy=2-(diphenylphosphino)pyridine, tBu-dppy=4-tert-butyl-2-(diphenylphosphino)pyridine) have been synthesized and characterized. The nucleophilicity of the [Pt(2)E(2)] unit towards a number of d(10) metal ions and complexes has been demonstrated through the successful isolation of a number of novel heteropolynuclear platinum(II)-copper(I), -silver(I), and -gold(I) complexes: [[Pt(2)(mu(3)-E)(2)(dppy)(4)](2)Ag(3)](PF(6))(3) (E=S (4); Se (5)) and [Pt(2)(dppy)(4)(mu(3)-E)(2)M(2)(dppm)]X(2) (E=S, M=Ag, X=BF(4) (6); E=S, M=Cu, X=PF(6) (7); E=S, M=Au, X=PF(6) (8); E=Se, M=Ag, X=PF(6) (9); E=Se, M=Au, X=PF(6) (10)). Some of them display short metal.metal contacts. These complexes have been found to possess interesting luminescence properties. Through systematic comparison studies, the emission origin has been probed.  相似文献

The synthesis and spectroscopic characterisation of the products obtained by treatment of N,N'-dimethylimidazolidine-2-thione (1), N,N'-dimethylimidazolidine-2-selone (2), N,N'-dimethylbenzoimidazole-2-thione (3) and N,N'-dimethylbenzoimidazole-2-selone (4) with Br2 in MeCN are reported, together with the crystal structures of the 10-E-3, T-shaped adducts 2 . Br2 (12), 3 . Br2 (13) and 4 . Br2 (14). A conductometric and spectrophotometric investigation into the reaction between 1-4 and Br2, carried out in MeCN, allows the equilibria involved in the formation of the isolated 10-E-3 (E = S, Se) hypervalent compounds to be hypothesised. In order to understand the reasons why S and Se donors can give different product types on treatment with Br2 and I2, DFT calculations have been carried out on 1-8, 19 and 20, and on their corresponding hypothetical [LEX]+ cations (L = organic framework; E = S, Se; X = Br, I), which are considered to be key intermediates in the formation of the different products. The results obtained in terms of NBO charge distribution on [LEX]+ species explain the different behaviour of 1-8, 19 and 20 in their reactions with Br2 and I2 fairly well. X-ray diffraction studies show 12-14 to have a T-shaped (10-E-3; E = S, Se) hypervalent chalcogen nature. They contain an almost linear Br-E-Br (E = S, Se) system roughly perpendicular to the average plane of the organic molecules. In 12, the Se atom of each adduct molecule has a short interaction with the Br(1) atom of an adjacent unit, such that the Se atom displays a roughly square planar coordination. The Se-Br distances are asymmetric [2.529(1) vs. 2.608(1) A], the shorter distance being that with the Br(1) atom involved in the short intermolecular contact. In contrast, in the molecular adducts 13 and 14, which lie on a two-fold crystallographic axis, the Br-E-Br system is symmetric and no short intermolecular interactions involving chalcogen and bromine atoms are observed. The adducts are arranged in parallel planes; this gives rise to a graphite-like stacking. The new crystalline modification of 10, obtained from acetonitrile solution, confirms the importance of short intermolecular contacts in determining the asymmetry of Br-E-Br (E = S, Se) and I-Se-I groups in hypervalent 10-E-3 compounds. The analogies in the conductometric and spectrophotometric titrations of 1 and 2-4 with Br2, together with the similarity of the vibrational spectra of 11-14, also imply a T-shaped nature for 11. The vibrational properties of the Br-E-Br (E = S, Se) systems resemble those of the Br3- and IBr2- anions: the Raman spectrum of a symmetric Br-E-Br group shows only one peak near 160 cm(-1), as found for symmetric Br3- and IBr2- anions, while asymmetric Br-E-Br groups also show an antisymmetric Br-E-Br mode at around 190 cm(-1), as observed for asymmetric Br3- and IBr2- ions. Therefore, simple IR and Raman measurements provide a useful tool for distinguishing between symmetric and asymmetric Br-E-Br groups, and hence allow predictions about the crystal packing of these hypervalent chalcogen compounds to be made when crystals of good quality are not available.  相似文献

The reaction of (Me3SiNSN)2S with TeCl4 in CH2Cl2 affords Cl2TeS2N2 (1) and that of (Me3SiNSN)2Se with TeCl4 produces Cl2TeSeSN2 (2) in good yields. The products were characterized by X-ray crystallography, as well as by NMR and vibrational spectroscopy and EI mass spectrometry. The Raman spectra were assigned by utilizing DFT molecular orbital calculations. The pathway of the formation of five-membered Cl2TeESN2 rings by the reactions of (Me3SiNSN)2E with TeCl4 (E = S, Se) is discussed. The reaction of (Me3SiNSN)2Se with [PPh4]2[Pd2X6] yields [PPh4]2[Pd2(mu-Se2N2S)X4] (X = Cl, 4a; Br, 4b), the first examples of complexes of the (Se2N2S)2- ligand. In both cases, this ligand bridges the two palladium centers through the selenium atoms.  相似文献

Reaction of [(triphos)Re(CO)(2)(OTf)] (1) [triphos = MeC(CH(2)PPh(2))(3); OTf = OSO(2)CF(3)] with P(4)S(3) and P(4)Se(3) yields pairs of coordination isomers, namely, [(triphos)Re(CO)(2)[eta(1)-P(apical)-P(4)X(3)]](+) (X = S, 2; Se, 5) and [(triphos)Re(CO)(2)[eta(1)-P(basal)-P(4)X(3)]](+) (X = S, 3; Se, 6). The latter represent the first examples of the eta(1)-P(basal) coordination achieved by the P(4)X(3) molecular cage. Further reaction of 2/3 and 5/6 mixtures with 1 affords the dinuclear species [[(triphos)Re(CO)(2)](2)[mu,eta(1:1)-P(apical,)P(basal)-P(4)X(3)]](2+) (X = S, 4; Se, 7) in which the unprecedented M-eta(1)-P(basal)/eta(1)-P(apical)-M' bridging coordination of the P(4)X(3) molecule is accomplished. A theoretical analysis of the bonding properties of the two coordination isomers is also presented. The directionality of apical vs basal phosphorus lone pairs is also discussed in terms of MO arguments.  相似文献

The syntheses, crystal structures determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and characterizations of new Mo(6) cluster chalcobromides and cyano-substituted compounds with 24 valence electrons per Mo(6) cluster (VEC = 24), are presented in this work. The structures of Cs(4)Mo(6)Br(12)S(2) and Cs(4)Mo(6)Br(12)Se(2) prepared by solid state routes are based on the novel [(Mo(6)Br(i)(6)Y(i)(2))Br(a)(6)](4)(-) (Y = S, Se) discrete units in which two chalcogen and six bromine ligands randomly occupy the inner positions, while the six apical ones are fully occupied by bromine atoms. The interaction of these two compounds with aqueous KCN solution results in apical ligand exchange giving the two first Mo(6) cyano-chalcohalides: Cs(0.4)K(0.6)(Et(4)N)(11)[(Mo(6)Br(6)S(2))(CN)(6)](3).16H(2)O and Cs(0.4)K(0.6)(Et(4)N)(11)[(Mo(6)Br(6)Se(2))(CN)(6)](3).16H(2)O. Their crystal structures, built from the original [(Mo(6)Br(i)(6)Y(i)(2))(CN)(a)(6)](4)(-) discrete units, will be compared to those of the two solid state precursors and other previously reported Mo(6) cluster compounds. Their redox properties and (77)Se NMR characterizations will be presented. By reaction of Na2[B9H9] with the appropriate N-halogenosuccinimide, the monohalogenated anion [1-XB9H8]2- (X = Cl, Br, or I) is formed. The X-ray diffraction analyses performed on single crystals of (Ph4P)2[1-XB9H8].CH3CN (X = Cl, Br, I) reveal that the tricapped trigonal prismatic geometry of the cluster is retained after substitution in the 1-position. Crystallographic data are as follows for (Ph4P)2[1-XB9H8].CH3CN. X = Cl, Br: monoclinic, space group P2(1), a = 10.7 A, b = 32.9 A, c = 13.8 A, beta = 96 degrees, Z = 4, R1 = 0.038 and R1 = 0.036, respectively. X = I: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 10.5 A, b = 13.6 A, c = 33.4 A, beta = 94 degrees, Z = 4, R1 = 0.094. The compounds have been characterized by vibrational and 11B NMR spectroscopy as well.  相似文献

The 1:1 mole ratio reactions of boron trihalides (BX(3)) with tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphine [P(SiMe(3))(3)] produced 1:1 Lewis acid/base adducts [X(3)B.P(SiMe(3))(3), X = Cl (1), Br (2), I (5)]. Analogous 1:1 mole ratio reactions of these boron trihalides with lithium bis(trimethylsilyl)phosphide [LiP(SiMe(3))(2)] produced dimeric boron-phosphorus ring compounds {[X(2)BP(SiMe(3))(2)](2), X = Br (3), Cl (4)}. X-ray crystallographic studies were successfully conducted on compounds 1-4. Compound 1 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.420(3) ?, b = 17.044(5) ?, c = 21.731(7) ?, V = 4970.6(25) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.229 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.022(9) ?, Compound 2 crystallized in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 13.581(6) ?, b = 17.106(7) ?, c = 22.021(9) ?, V = 5116(4) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.540 g cm(-3) for Z = 8; the B-P bond length was 2.00(2) ?. Compound 3 crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 9.063(5) ?, b = 16.391(8) ?, c = 9.331(4) ?, V = 1379.2(12) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.676 g cm(-3) for Z = 2; the B-P bond length was 2.023(10) ?. Compound 4 crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, with a = 9.143(5) ?, b = 16.021(8) ?, c = 9.170(4) ?, V = 1342.2(11) ?(3), and D(calc) = 1.282 g cm(-3) for Z = 2; the B-P bond length was 2.025(3) ?. Thermal decomposition studies were performed on compounds 1-4, yielding colored powders with boron:phosphorus ratios greater than 1:1 and significant C and H contamination indicated by elemental analyses.  相似文献

PX(4) (+)[Al(OR)(4)](-) (X=I: 1 a, X=Br: 1 b) was prepared from X(2), PX(3), and Ag[Al(OR)(4)] [R=C(CF(3))(3)] in CH(2)Cl(2) at -30 degrees C in 69-86 % yield. P(2)X(5) (+) salts were prepared from 2 PX(3) and Ag[Al(OR)(4)] in CH(2)Cl(2) at -30 degrees C yielding almost quantitatively P(2)X(5) (+)[Al(OR)(4)](-) (X=I: 3 a, X=Br: 3 b). The phosphorus-rich P(5)X(2) (+) salts arose from the reaction of cold (-78 degrees C) mixtures of PX(3), P(4), and Ag[Al(OR)(4)] giving P(5)X(2) (+)[Al(OR)(4)](-) (X=I: 4 a, X=Br: 4 b) with a C(2v)-symmetric P(5) cage. Silver salt metathesis presumably generated unstable PX(2) (+) cations from PX(3) and Ag[Al(OR)(4)] (X=Br, I) that acted as electrophilic carbene analogues and inserted into the Xbond;X (Pbond;X/Pbond;P) bond of X(2) (PX(3)/P(4)) leading to the highly electrophilic and CH(2)Cl(2)-soluble PX(4) (+) (P(2)X(5) (+)/P(5)X(2) (+)) salts. Reactions that aimed to synthesize P(2)I(3) (+) from P(2)I(4) and Ag[Al(OR)(4)] instead led to anion decomposition and the formation of P(2)I(5)(CS(2))(+)[(RO)(3)Al-F-Al(OR)(3)](-) (5). All salts were characterized by variable-temperature solution NMR studies (3 b also by (31)P MAS NMR), Raman and/or IR spectroscopy as well as X-ray crystallography (with the exception of 4 a). The thermochemical volumes of the Pbond;X cations are 121 (PBr(4) (+)), 161 (PI(4) (+)), 194 (P(2)Br(5) (+)), 271 (P(2)I(5) (+)), and 180 A(3) (P(5)Br(2) (+)). The observed reactions were fully accounted for by thermochemical calculations based on (RI-)MP2/TZVPP ab initio results and COSMO solvation enthalpy calculations (CH(2)Cl(2) solution). The enthalpies of formation of the gaseous Pbond;X cations were derived as +764 (PI(4) (+)), +617 (PBr(4) (+)), +749 (P(2)I(5) (+)), +579 (P(2)Br(5) (+)), +762 (P(5)I(2) (+)), and +705 kJ mol(-1) (P(5)Br(2) (+)). The insertion of the intermediately prepared carbene analogue PX(2) (+) cations into the respective bonds were calculated, at the (RI-)MP2/TZVPP level, to be exergonic at 298 K in CH(2)Cl(2) by Delta(r)G(CH(2)Cl(2))=-133.5 (PI(4) (+)), -183.9 (PBr(4) (+)), -106.5 (P(2)I(5) (+)), -81.5 (P(2)Br(5) (+)), -113.2 (P(5)I(2) (+)), and -114.5 kJ mol(-1) (P(5)Br(2) (+)).  相似文献

The reactions between chalcogen tetrahalides (ChX(4); Ch = Se, Te; X = Cl, Br) and the neutral donors (n)Bu(3)P, Ph(3)P, or the N-heterocyclic carbene, 2,5-diisopropylimidazole-2-ylidene ((i)Pr(2)IM), have been investigated. In cases involving a phosphine, the chemistry can be understood in terms of a succession of two-electron redox reactions, resulting in reduction of the chalcogen center (e.g., Se(IV) --> Se(II)) and the oxidation of phosphorus to the [R(3)P-X] cation (P(III) --> P(V)). The stepwise reduction of Se(IV) --> Se(II) --> Se(0) --> Se(-II) occurs upon the successive addition of stoichiometric equivalents of Ph(3)P to SeCl(4), which can readily be monitored by 31P{(1)H} NMR spectroscopy. In the case of reacting SeX(4) with (i)Pr(2)IM, a similar two-electron reduction of the chalcogen is observed and there is the concomitant production of a haloimidazolium hexahaloselenate salt. The products have been comprehensively characterized, and the solid-state structures of [R(3)PX][SeX(3)] (9), [Ph(3)PCl](2)[TeCl(6)] (10), (i)Pr(2)IM-SeX(2) (11), and [(i)Pr(2)IM-Cl](2)[SeCl(6)] (12) have been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. These data all support two electron redox reactions and can be considered in terms of the formal reductive elimination of X2, which is sequestered by the Lewis base.  相似文献

By preparing methyl bromide (CH3Br) in selected rotational levels of the CH3Br(X(1)A1; v1 = 1) state with infrared (IR) laser excitation prior to vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) laser pulsed field ionization-photoelectron (PFI-PE) measurements, we have observed rotationally resolved photoionization transitions to the CH3Br(+)(X(2)E(3/2); v1(+) = 1) state, where v1 and v1(+) are the symmetric C-H stretching vibrational mode for the neutral and cation, respectively. The VUV-PFI-PE origin band for CH3Br(+)(X(2)E(3/2)) has also been measured. The simulation of these IR-VUV-PFI-PE and VUV-PFI-PE spectra have allowed the determination of the v1(+) vibrational frequency (2901.8 +/- 0.5 cm(-1)) and the ionization energies of the origin band (85 028.3 +/- 0.5 cm(-1)) and the v1(+) = 1 <-- v1 = 1 band (84 957.9 +/- 0.5 cm(-1)).  相似文献

Single crystals of A2ThP3Se9 (A = K (I), Rb (II)) and Cs4Th2PsSe17 (III) form from the reaction of Th and P in a molten A2Se3/Se (A = K, Rb, Cs) flux at 750 degrees C for 100 h. Compound I crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2) with unit cell parameters a = 10.4582(5) A, b = 16.5384(8) A, c = 10.2245(5) A, alpha = 107.637(1); beta = 91.652(1); gamma = 90.343(1) degrees, and Z = 2. Compound II crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 (No. 2) with the unit cell parameters a = 10.5369(5) A, b = 16.6914(8) A, c = 10.2864(5) A, alpha = 107.614(1) degrees, beta = 92.059(1) degrees, gamma = 90.409(1) degrees, and Z = 2. These structures consist of infinite chains of corner-sharing [Th2Se14] units linked by (P2Se6)4- anions in two directions to form a ribbonlike structure along the [100] direction. Compounds I and II are isostructural with the previously reported K2UP3Se9. Compound III crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c (No. 14) with unit cell parameters a = 10.238(1) A, b = 32.182(2) A, c = 10.749(1) A; beta = 95.832(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Cs4Th2P5Se17 consists of infinite chains of corner-sharing, polyhedral [Th2Se13] units that are also linked by (P2Se6)4- anions in the [100] and [010] directions to form a layered structure. The structure of III features an (Se2)2- anion that is bound eta 2 to Th(2) and eta 1 to Th(1). This anion influences the coordination sphere of the 9-coordinate Th(2) atom such that it is best described as bicapped trigonal prismatic where the eta 2-bound anion occupies one coordination site. The composition of III may be formulated as Cs4Th2(P2Se6)5/2(Se2) due to the presence of the (Se2)2- unit. Raman spectra for these compounds and their interpretation are reported.  相似文献

A new three-dimensional open-framework aluminophosphate (NH(4))(2)Al(4)(PO(4))(4)(HPO(4)).H(2)O (denoted AlPO-CJ19) with an Al/P ratio of 4/5 has been synthesized, using pyridine as the solvent and 2-aminopyridine as the structure-directing agent, under solvothermal conditions. The structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and further characterized by solid-state NMR techniques. The alternation of the Al-centered polyhedra (including AlO(4), AlO(5), and AlO(6)) and the P-centered tetrahedra (including PO(4) and PO(3)OH) results in an interrupted open-framework structure with an eight-membered ring channel along the [100] direction. This is the first aluminophosphate containing three kinds of Al coordinations (AlO(4), AlO(5), and AlO(6)) with all oxygen vertexes connected to framework P atoms. (27)Al MAS NMR, (31)P MAS NMR, and (1)H --> (31)P CPMAS NMR characterizations show that the solid-state NMR techniques are an effective complement to XRD analysis for structure elucidation. Furthermore, all of the possible coordinations of Al and P in the aluminophosphates with an Al/P ratio of 4/5 are summarized. Crystal data: (NH(4))(2)Al(4)(PO(4))(4)(HPO(4))xH(2)O, monoclinic P2(1) (No. 4), a = 5.0568(3) A, b = 21.6211(18) A, c = 8.1724(4) A, beta = 91.361(4) degrees , V = 893.27(10) A(3), Z = 2, R(1) = 0.0456 (I > 2 sigma(I)), and wR(2) = 0.1051 (all data).  相似文献

Reaction of polymeric Mo(3)Se(7)Br(4) with KNCSe melt gives [Mo(3)Se(7)(CN)(6)](2-). Reactions of polymeric Mo(3)S(7)Br(4) and Mo(3)Te(7)I(4) with KNCSe melt (200-220 degrees C) all give as final product [Mo(3)Se(7)(CN)(6)](2)(-) via intermediate formation of [Mo(3)S(4)Se(3)(CN)(6)](2-)/[Mo(3)SSe(6)(CN)(6)](2-) and of [Mo(3)Te(4)Se(3)(CN)(6)](2-), respectively, as was shown by ESI-MS. (NH(4))(1.5)K(3){[Mo(3)Se(7)(CN)(6)]I}I(1.5).4.5H(2)O (4) was isolated and structurally characterized. Reactions of W(3)Q(7)Br(4) (Q = S, Se) with KNCSe lead to [W(3)Q(4)(CN)(9)](5-). Heating W(3)Te(7)Br(4) in KCNSe melt gives a complicated mixture of W(3)Q(7) and W(3)Q(4) derivatives, as was shown by ESI-MS, from which E(3)[W(3)(mu(3)-Te)(mu-TeSe)(3)(CN)(6)]Br.6H(2)O (5) and K(5)[W(3)(mu(3)-Te)(mu-Se)(3)(CN)(9)] (6) were isolated. X-ray analysis of 5 reveals the presence of a new TeSe(2-) ligand. The complexes were characterized by IR, Raman, electronic, and (77)Se and (125)Te NMR spectra and by ESI mass spectrometry.  相似文献

Six clusters Ag(8)(micro(8)-X)[Se(2)P(OR)(2)](6)(PF(6)) (R = Et, X = Cl, 1a, X = Br, 1b; R = Pr, X = Cl, 2a, X = Br, 2b; R = (i)Pr, X = Cl, 3a, X = Br, 3b) were isolated from the reaction of [Ag(CH(3)CN)(4)](PF(6)), NH(4)[Se(2)P(OR)(2)], and Bu(4)NX in a molar ratio of 4:3:1 in CH(2)X(2). Positive FAB mass spectra show m/z peaks at 2573.2 for 1a, 2617.3 for 1b, 2740.9 for 2a, 2786.9 for 2b, 2742.3 for 3a, and 2787.0 for 3b due to respective molecular cation, (M - PF(6))(+). (31)P NMR spectra of 1a-3b display a singlet at delta 82.3, 81.5, 82.9, 81.7, 76.3, and 75.8 ppm with a set of satellites (J(PSe) = 661, 664, 652, 652, 656, and 656 Hz, respectively). The X-ray structure (1a-2b) consists of a discrete cationic cluster in which eight silver ions are linked by six diselenophosphate ligands and a central micro(8)-Cl or micro(8)-Br ion with a noncoordinating PF(6)(-) anion. The shape of the molecule is a halide-centered distorted Ag(8) cubic cluster. The dsep ligand exhibits a tetrametallic tetraconnective (micro(2), micro(2)) coordination pattern, and each caps on a square face of the cube. Each silver atom of the cube is coordinated by three selenium atoms and the central chloride or bromide ion. Additionally, molecular orbital calculations at the B3LYP level of the density functional theory have been carried out to study the Ag-micro(8)-X (X = Cl, Br) interactions for cluster cations [Ag(8)(micro(8)-X)[Se(2)P(OR)(2)](6)](+). Calculations show very weak bonding interactions exist between micro(8)-X and Ag atoms of the cube.  相似文献

The mechanism and the thermodynamics of the formation of EX2+, EX4+ and E2X5+ (E = As, P; X = Br, I) was carefully analyzed with MP2/TZVPP calculations and inclusion of entropy and solvation effects (COSMO model approximating CH2Cl2). Thus, as likely intermediates the complexes of Ag+ and one or two EX3 as well as EX3/X2 were optimized. The global minimum isomers of the Ag(EX3)2+ intermediates were found to be P-coordinated Ag(PI3)2+ and (BrPBr2)Ag(PBr3)+ but exclusively halogen coordinated Ag(X2AsX)2+ complexes. Similarly complicated is the situation for the Ag(EX3)(X2)+ intermediates: (I3E)Ag(I2)+, (BrAsBr2)Ag(Br2)+ and (Br3P)(Br-Br)Ag+ complexes were found to be the global minima. Based on all available results likely mechanisms for the formation of the known PX4+, AsBr4+, P2X5+ salts (X = Br, I) from these intermediates were proposed. An explanation for the failure to prepare an AsI4+ salt is also given.  相似文献

A series of lanthanide complexes containing a chalcogenolate ligand supported by two TpMe,Me (tris-3,5-dimethylpyrazolylborate) groups has been prepared and crystallized and provides direct comparisons of bonding to hard and soft ligands at lanthanide centers. Reaction of [Sm(TpMe,Me)2Cl] with NaOR (R = Ph, Ph-Bu(t)) gives [Sm(TpMe,Me)2OR] (1a and 1b, respectively) in good yields. Reductive cleavage of dichalcogenides by samarium(II) was used to prepare the heavier congeners. Complexes of the type [Sm(TpMe,Me)2ER] for E = S, R = Ph (2a), E = S, R = Ph-4-Me (2b), E = S, R = CH2Ph (2c), E = Se, R = Ph (3a), E = Se, R = Ph-4-Bu(t) (3b), E = Se, R = CH2Ph (3c), and E = Te, R = Ph (4) have been prepared together with the corresponding complexes with TpMe,Me,4-Et as ancillary. The X-ray crystal structures of 1b, 2b, 3a, 3b, and 4 have been determined. The crystal of 1b (C40H57B2N12OSm.C7H8) was monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 10.6845(6) A, b = 18.5573(11) A, c = 24.4075(14) A, beta = 91.616(2) degrees, Z = 4. The crystal of 2b (C37H51B2N12SSm) was monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 15.0154(9) A, b = 13.1853(8) A, c = 21.1254(13) A, beta = 108.628(2) degrees, Z = 4. The crystal of 3a (C36H49B2N12SeSm.C7H8) was triclinic, P1, a = 10.7819(6) A, b = 19.3011(10) A, c = 23.0235(12) A, alpha = 79.443(2) degrees, beta = 77.428(2) degrees, gamma = 89.827(2) degrees, Z = 4. The crystal of 3b (C40H57B2N12SeSm) was triclinic, P1, a = 10.1801(6) A, b = 10.2622(6) A, c = 23.4367(14) A, alpha = 88.313(2) degrees, beta = 86.268(2) degrees, gamma = 62.503(2) degrees, Z = 2. The crystal of 4 (C36H49B2N12TeSm.C7H8) was monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 18.7440(10) A, b = 10.3892(6) A, c = 23.8351(13) A, beta = 94.854(2) degrees, Z = 4. The compounds form an isoleptic series of seven-coordinate complexes with terminal chalcogenolate ligands. Examination of 1b and other crystallographically characterized lanthanide alkoxides suggests that there is little correlation between bond angle and bond length. The structures of 3a and 3b, however, contain molecules in which one of the pyrazolylborate ligands undergoes a major distortion arising from twisting around a B-N bond so as to give an effectively eight-coordinate complex with pi-stacking of the phenyl group with one pyrazolyl ring. These distortions shed light on the fluxionality of these systems.  相似文献

Two novel metal polyselenides, KPdCu(Se(2))(Se(3)) (I) and RbPdCu(Se(2))(Se(3)) (II), have been synthesized from solvothermal reactions in superheated ethylenediamine at 160 degrees C. The isostructural compounds crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/m, Z = 2, with a = 6.145(1) A, b = 7.268(1) A, c = 8.865(2) A, beta = 102.41(3) degrees for I, and a = 6.253(1) A, b = 7.267(1) A, c = 8.993(2) A, beta = 102.28(3) degrees for II. Their crystal structures are two-dimensional networks with [PdCu(Se(2))(Se(3))](-) anionic layers built from one-dimensional [Pd(Se(2))(Se(3))](2)(-) "chains" that are "stitched" together by tetrahedrally coordinated Cu atoms. The DSC data show that I and II are stable up to 400 degrees C and decompose at ca. 436 and 424 degrees C, respectively. Both compounds are narrow band-gap semiconductors with estimated band gaps of about 0.7 eV (I) and 0.8 eV (II), respectively. They are the first structurally characterized quaternary copper palladium polychalcogenides with a (Se(2))(2)(-) and a (Se(3))(2)(-) fragment, both exhibiting interesting and unusual metal-selenium coordination.  相似文献

The ambidentate dianions [(t)BuN(E)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(E)N(t)Bu](2)(-) (5a, E = S; 5b, E = Se) are obtained as their disodium and dipotassium salts by the reaction of cis-[(t)Bu(H)N(E)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(E)N(H)(t)Bu] (6a, E = S; 6b, E = Se), with 2 equiv of MN(SiMe(3))(2) (M = Na, K) in THF at 23 degrees C. The corresponding dilithium derivative is prepared by reacting 6a with 2 equiv of (t)BuLi in THF at reflux. The X-ray structures of five complexes of the type [(THF)(x)()M](2)[(t)BuN(E)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(E)N(t)Bu] (9, M = Li, E = S, x = 2; 11a/11b, M = Na, E = S/Se, x = 2; 12a, M = K, E = S, x = 1; 12b, M = K, E = Se, x = 1.5) have been determined. In the dilithiated derivative 9 the dianion 5a adopts a bis (N,S)-chelated bonding mode involving four-membered LiNPS rings whereas 11a,b and 12a,b display a preference for the formation of six-membered MNPNPN and MEPNPE rings, i.e., (N,N' and E,E')-chelation. The bis-solvated disodium complexes 11a,b and the dilithium complex 9 are monomeric, but the dipotassium complexes 12a,b form dimers with a central K(2)E(2) ring and associate further through weak K.E contacts to give an infinite polymeric network of 20-membered K(6)E(6)P(4)N(4) rings. The monoanions [(t)Bu(H)N(E)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(E)N(t)Bu)](-) (E = S, Se) were obtained as their lithium derivatives 8a and 8b by the reaction of 1 equiv of (n)BuLi with 6a and 6b, respectively. An X-ray structure of the TMEDA-solvated complex 8a and the (31)P NMR spectrum of 8b indicate a N,E coordination mode. The reaction of 6b with excess (t)BuLi in THF at reflux results in partial deselenation to give the monolithiated P(III)/P(V) complex [(THF)(2)Li[(t)BuN(Se)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu]] 10, which adopts a (N,Se) bonding mode.  相似文献

Four isotypic compounds Hg3AsS4Cl, Hg3AsS4Br, Hg3AsSe4Br, and Hg3AsSe4I were synthesized in the quaternary system mercury/arsenic/chalcogen/halogen by vapor transport reactions from As, Hg(II) halide, Hg(II) chalcogenide, and elemental chalcogen at temperatures between 250 and 310 degrees C. Their structures were solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The compounds crystallize in the hexagonal system with the acentric space group P63mc and the following lattice parameters: a = 7.431(5) A, c = 9.003(8) A for Hg3AsS4Cl, a = 7.430(5) A, c = 9.364(5) A for Hg3AsS4Br, a = 7.707(8) A, c = 9.47(2) A for Hg3AsSe4Br, and a = 7.6902(7) A, c = 9.968(1) A for Hg3AsSe4I, and Z = 2. All compounds are air-stable and form hexagonal prismatic crystals. The colors vary from yellow (Hg3AsS4Cl) to red (Hg3AsSe4I). The structures consist of infinity 2[Hg3AsE4]+ polycationic layers built of six-membered Hg3E3 and Hg2AsE3 rings in chair and boat conformations. Alternatively, the structure of the layers can be described as composed of [AsE3]3- and [Hg3E]4+ ions both forming regular trigonal pyramids. The halide ions are intercalated between the layers and have only weak bonds to the mercury atoms. The acentricity of the structures was confirmed through SHG measurements using IR laser radiation (lambda = 1064 nm).  相似文献

The compounds Cp2Ln[N(QPPh2)2] (Ln = La (1), Gd (2), Er (3), or Yb (4) for Q = Se, Ln = Yb (5) for Q = S) have been synthesized from the corresponding rare-earth tris(cyclopentadienyl) compound and H[N(QPPh2)2]. The structures of compounds 1, 2, 3, and 5, as determined by X-ray crystallography, consist of a Cp2Ln fragment, coordinated eta 3 through two chalcogen atoms and an N atom of the imidodiphosphinochalcogenido ligand [N(QPPh2)2]-. In compound 4, the Cp2Yb moiety is coordinated eta 2 through the two Se atoms of the [N(SePPh2)2]-ligand. 31P and 77Se (for 1) NMR spectroscopies lend insight into the solution nature of these species.
