Levinson's solution for the problem of a simply supported rectangular plate of arbitrary thickness by normal surface loads is extended to the transversely isotropic and layered case. The exact closed form solution is obtained by using the propagator matrix method in a system of vector functions. As a special case of the layered medium, the normal displacement or deflection of a homogeneous plate of arbitrary thickness by normal surface loads is also given. It is shown that it approaches the classical solution for the transversely isotropic thin plate as the thickness approaches zero on the one hand, and on the other hand reduces to the thick plate expression as given by Levinson when the medium is isotropic.  相似文献

The non-axisymmetrical vibration of elastic circular plate resting on a layered transversely isotropic saturated ground was studied.First,the 3-d dynamic equations in cylindrical coordinate for transversely isotropic saturated soils were transformed into a group of governing differential equations with 1-order by the technique of Fourier ex- panding with respect to azimuth,and the state equation is established by Hankel integral transform method,furthermore the transfer matrixes within layered media are derived based on the solutions of the state equation.Secondly,by the transfer matrixes,the general solutions of dynamic response for layered transversely isotropic saturated ground excited by an arbitrary harmonic force were established under the boundary conditions, drainage conditions on the surface of.ground as well as the contact conditions.Thirdly, the problem was led to a pair of dual integral equations describing the mixed boundary- value problem which can be reduced to the Fredholm integral equations of the second kind solved by numerical procedure easily.At the end of this paper,a numerical result concerning vertical and radical displacements both the surface of saturated ground and plate is evaluated.  相似文献

The state vector equations for space axisymmetric problems of transversely isotropic piezoelectric media are established from the basic equations. Using the Hankel transform, the state vector equations are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations. An analytical solution of the problems in the Hankel transform space is presented in the form of the product of initial state vector and transfer matrix. The transfer matrices are given for the three distinct eigenvalues. Applications of the solutions are discussed. An analytical solution for the transversely isotropic semi-infinite piezoelectric media subjected to concerted point loads on the surface z=0 is presented in the Hankel transform space. Using transfer matrix and the continuity conditions at the layer interfaces, the general solution formulation of N-layered transversely isotropic piezoelectric media is given. A selected set of numerical solutions is presented for a layered semi-infinite piezoelectric solid.  相似文献

研究了横观各向同性饱和土地基上无限板的稳态振动问题. 基于直角坐标系下横观各向同性饱和介质Biot波动方程的一般解,采用双重Fourier积分变换技术,建立了饱和地基与无限矩形板相互作用的动力方程,利用数值方法求解该方程,得到任意谐振荷载作用下饱和半空间体上无限板稳态响应的一般解. 数值结果表明,横观各向同性饱和地基上无限板的振动与各向同性饱和地基上的无限板的振动特性存在明显差异.  相似文献

Green’s functions of a transversely isotropic half-space overlaid by a thin coating layer are analytically obtained. The surface coating is modeled by a Kirchhoff thin plate perfectly bonded to the half-space. With the aid of superposition technique and employing appropriate displacement potential functions, the Green’s functions are expressed in two parts; (i) a closed-form part corresponding to the transversely isotropic half-space with surface kinematic constraints, and (ii) a numerically evaluated part reflecting the interaction between the half-space and the plate in the form of semi-infinite integrals. Some limiting cases of the problem such as surface-stiffened isotropic half-space, Boussinesq and Cerruti loadings, and extremely flexible and rigid plates are also studied. For the classical Cerruti problem in transversely isotropic materials, the effects of incompressibility are highlighted. Numerical results are provided to show the effects of material anisotropy, relative stiffness factor, and load buried depth. The obtained Green’s functions play a key role in treating further mixed-boundary-value problems in surface stiffened transversely isotropic half-spaces.  相似文献

An analytical treatment is presented for the propagation of harmonic waves in magneto-electro-elastic multilayered plates, where the general anisotropic and three-phase coupled constitutive equations are used. The state-vector approach is employed to derive the propagator matrix which connects the field variables at the upper interface to those at the lower interface of each layer. The global propagator matrix is obtained by propagating the solution in each layer from the bottom of the layered plate to the top using the continuity conditions of the field variables across the interfaces. From the global propagator matrix, we finally obtain the dispersion relation by imposing the traction-free boundary condition on the top and bottom surfaces of the layered plate. Dispersion curves, modal shapes, and natural frequencies are presented for layered plates made of orthotropic elastic (graphite–epoxy), transversely isotropic PZT-5A, piezoelectric BaTiO3 and magnetostrictive CoFe2O4 materials. While the numerical results show clearly the influence of different stacking sequences as well as material properties on the field response, the general methodology presented in the paper could be useful to the analysis and design of layered composites made of smart piezoelectric and piezomagnetic materials.  相似文献

By employing the general solution for coupled three-dimensional equations of a transversely isotropic piezoelectric body, this paper investigates the free vibration of a circular plate made of piezoelectric material. Three-dimensional exact solutions are then obtained under two specified boundary conditions, which can be used for both axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric cases. Summary This paper deals with the stationary heat conduction in a solid consisting of planar, isotropic or transversely isotropic layers. The following cases are considered: (1) arbitrarily layered solid, (2) macroperiodically layered solid, consisting of equal pairs of different basic layers with finite thicknesses, (3) microperiodically layered solid, consisting of equal layer groups of two or more different basic layers of infinitesimal thicknesses. Assuming a perfect contact between the layers, exact solutions for the plane, the axisymmetric and the general three-dimensional problem of macro- and microperiodically layered semispaces, respectively, are derived using integral transforms and the transfer-matrix method. It is proved that the microperiodically layered solid with isotropic or transversely isotropic basic layers is equivalent to a homogeneous transversely isotropic solid. This paper deals with a two dimensional problem for a transversely isotropic thick plate having heat source. The upper surface of the plate is stress free with prescribed surface temperature while the lower surface of the plate rests on a rigid foundation and is thermally insulated. The study is carried out in the context of generalized thermoelasticity proposed by Green and Naghdi. The governing equations for displacement and temperature fields are obtained in Laplace–Fourier transform domain by applying Laplace and Fourier transform techniques. The inversion of double transform has been done numerically. The numerical inversion of Laplace transform is done by using a method based on Fourier Series expansion technique. Numerical computations have been done for magnesium (Mg) and the results are presented graphically. The results for an isotropic material (Cu) have been deduced numerically and presented graphically to compare with those of transversely isotropic material (Mg).  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of a crack embedded in a half-plane piezoelectric solid with traction-induction free boundary is analyzed. A system of singular integral equations is formulated for the materials with general anisotropic piezoelectric properties and for the crack with arbitrary orientation. The kernel functions developed are in complex form for general anisotropic piezoelectric materials and are then specialized to the case of transversely isotropic piezoelectric materials which are in real form. The obtained coupled mechanical and electric real kernel functions may be reduced to those kernel functions for purely elastic problems when the electric effects disappear. The system of singular integral equations is solved numerically and the coupling effects of the mechanical and electric phenomena are presented by the generalized stress intensity factors for transversely isotropic piezoelectric materials.  相似文献

Based on the three-dimensional quasi-static general solution of the transversely isotropic pyroelectric material, the Green's function for an infinite transversely isotropic pyroelectric material under a step point heat source is presented in this paper. Firstly, a suitable function with an undetermined constant is constructed. Secondly, the Green's function can be obtained by substituting this function into the general solution. The undetermined constant can be determined by the heat conservation equation. Finally, the numerical results are shown in form of contours at the different times.  相似文献

The large amplitude free flexural vibration of transversely isotropic rectangular plate, incorporating the effects of transverse shear and rotatory inertia, is studied using the von Karman field equations. A mode shape, consisting of three generalised-coordinates together with the Galerkin technique, results in a system of three non-linear simultaneous ordinary differential equations which govern the motion of the plate. These equations are integrated using a fourth-order Runge-Kutta method to obtain the period for each amplitude of vibration. The non-linear period vs amplitude behaviour is of the hardening type and it is also found that transverse shear and rotary inertia effects increase the period and that this increase is quite significant even for thin transversely isotropic plates. The results are compared with earlier results which were based on a one-term or one generalised coordinate solution and using the Berger approximation or the von Karman field equations.  相似文献

研究横观各向同性饱和土地基上中厚弹性圆板的非轴对称振动问题。基于横观各向同性饱和介质Biot波动方程的一般解,按混合边值问题建立了饱和地基与弹性中厚圆板非轴对称动力相互作用的对偶积分方程,并将对偶积分方程转化为易于计算的第二类Fredholm积分方程;采用数值方法求解该积分方程。数值算例结果表明,当h/a>0.05时,饱和半空间体上中厚度圆板在不同频率下的振动特性与相应频率下的刚性板的振动特性基本相同,当h/a<0.05时,板中心的位移将随h/a的减小而增大。  相似文献

提出一种针对层状结构模型的先进计算方法。研究的层状结构通常为水平层状板或者层状半空间,结构由横观各向同性(TI)材料组成,材料对称轴指向分层方向。本文方法可以考虑材料的多场耦合特性,即热弹性、多孔弹性和磁电弹性耦合。基于最近提出的傅立叶-贝塞尔级数(FBS)向量函数系和双变量/位置(DVP)方法,建立了本文的先进计算方法。DVP能够无条件稳定地将层矩阵从一层传播到下一层。FBS向量函数系具有以下特点,(1)反映了具有明确类型的广义变形/波,(2)将展开系数预先计算为Love数,然后将其用于涉及问题的模拟。层状地球中的断层(或位错)作用、土-结构相互作用以及近地表地球剖面中的瞬态波等三个典型算例,证明了提出方法的准确性和有效性。  相似文献
